I know a while back I had looked at the vr store on here and at the shirts, but I dont recall seeing anything that was geared toward a specific house. Wouldnt it be kind of a nice idea to have T-shirts to purchase with your house name on them. The vampire rave logo and then below it the creast to your house.. Just a thought..

I'm still to low of a lvl for a house, but that is a really good idea. It gives you a better feeling of belonging. So as to say, I'm a member of _____, insert house name. The only problem that I could see is, what happens when you get traded. Do you buy another shirt?

or what if your forcably inducted into a house you don't like do you get the shirt of your fav house take a bunch of pix and hope to get kicked and picked up or maybe traded??? LOL

You could have shorts with
"VR Addicted " on the back pocket or something......

The clothes ideas are pretty far spread as far as what you could put logos and house crests on!

how about a wide selection of VR logos, not so much house ones. different colors.

DNG, I understand that they are houses on the internet and not "real". I do know what reality is. It was a suggestion and a way to raise money for VR thats all. The only thing I didnt think of was the trading part.

Well even with the trading you would still have the knowledge that you helped raise money for the site. I'm not in a house but I think it's a wonderful idea.

i may not be in a house for lack of level, but i do believe this to be an excellent idea. It would make such VR clothing more personal.

I was just inducted into this house yesterday, just moments after becoming Caitliff and very excited..

Love the idea of the house shirts and other lines of clothing....yes, they may be virtual houses/covens, but what the hell, if it would also help to support VR, then even better.

There is the thought of each house going in together to design and have made such shirts.

My biggest bitch is about sizing. I conducted a poll prior to the first order. I worded it very carefully, "If you were to buy a VR T-shirt, what size would you buy?"

I used the results to place an order for over 500 pieces.

The poll wasn't even close to what was actually bought. I've got some sizes that I bought over 80 units of, and 2-3 have sold. Versus other sizes that I bought 15 units of, and they sold out in 2 weeks.

So every time you guys bring up the subject of adding more to the line, you don't take into account what is involved. I can't buy just one size. I have to get an assortment of at least 3 sizes. 8 sizes if I am to service everyone.

hehe I have to agree you have to take into account what cancer has to do as somebody who has sold a few shirts in my past I get where he is coming from ...

and no I have not bought anything yet as somebody who only join like maybe 2 weeks ago ( I just have a job where i can be on the net all day so I leveled a lil fast

Cancer~ How about next time do a pre-order, I know I would put my money forth as the quality of what I have bought has be excellent.

That way- you KNOW what we will buy and don't have to "sit" on too many extras.

Cancer, now that I looked in the VR store, I have a whole new look on things. My biggest problem with ordering online is the fact that I travel. Now that I went through the store and see that I can pay by money order, it allows me to seriously look into buying my pm and a hoodie.

i think that would be a kewl idea. but yet wat happenes when u do get traded. and maybe shorts/pants to go witht he shirt that would be hot

I know it costs a lot of money to have shirts made, Cancer. Maybe we could have patches made of all the houses. Maybe iron-ons or stitch kind, if anyone feels like sewing. They might be cheaper, and the members could put them on anything they want.

I think the whole house shirt would be a great idea! I have seen where people are asking what happens if you get traded my guess would be buy another shirt that way you have support both the houses you have been in. And wear the one from the house you are in now keep the other as a sovenior. But that is just my thought.

I think that the "Vampire Rave" should be done different, maybe done in flames or in blood. And do it in different colors. And do more types of clothing like shorts, pants, socks, shoes, dresses, and skirts. give the people more of a varity.

That seems pretty neat... having house shirts. BUT we do have to consider the size issue...

hmmm the size issue is something!! is it the printer that won´t give you a good deal on the price unless you buy inbulk??

you know cool vamp clothing that isn't just black...throw some reds and burgandy and add some velvet that isn't what I call stripper velvet...and give me something I don't have to buy in the UK

When i join VR and checked the Shop i was hoping to find a Trench Coat those would be a bit cool ^.^

Trench Coats are really hot and would sell out so umm VR Trench Coats? lol but those would cost :-P

Having checked into shirts on my own for band purposes...These are a few things to remember when asking Cancer to do a crest shirt...(I think it's cool by the way) First Cancer has made EMBROIDERED clothing which is far better quality than printing but from what I've seen personally is priced by the stitch...doing a Crest with many colors and more detail could be really costly...plus just getting someone to load the images into their computer and creating the pattern to embroider is costly in itself....

Where ever Cancer gets his stuff I think he should find a price and post it and take pre orders....

Also I have been to stores where band shirts are sold...and for the most part they were only in large....every size is kinda crazy to try to provide....

I'm not in a house and not sure EXACTLY what it is yet, but I will find out. But I do think it is a cool idea.

As part of an organization (the Army) that sometimes does the t-shirts as a way of encouraging esprit de corps (basically, togetherness), I'll all about this idea.

But if cost is an issue, perhaps VR could just go the route of putting together patches in the shapes of the various house/coven crests.

Along the same thought, you could also put together pin-ons of the same set of house and coven crests. Not sure about the costs, but you could sell individually or as a complete set.

Before getting shirts for the houses, lets look into our closets and see if we have a VR one first..get a VR shirt then..consider house ones..or coven.

i think its a good idea but why stop with shirts why not hoodies and socks and anything else you can think of why not have a contest to design it all i think that be pretty neat

I'm working out some stuff with people in my house to do shirts for our house but it's going to be separate from the Rave store. We're going to get our stuff printed but all orders will have to be paid for prior to printing. Cancer made an awesome point that when you do something like this, you wind up putting out tons of money on promises alone and the return is rarely what the promise states.

I will make it a point to get a VR shirt next paycheck. I've been meaning to do it anyway.

having a range where to choose from is always good to accomplish NEARLY everyone's requests...but here Cancer is undoubtfully right. It didn't come to my mind that he's spending money to buy those clothes etc...but after reading his post I realised this.

your right, ive never seen that, but it sounds like a good idea.however, i would be super pissed off if i bought a shirt and it had my house name on it and then they traded me.i personally have no desire to "belong" anywhere, so it wouldnt matter to me. but its a good idea for people who are more involved in the site.

Rather than a hole rack of shirts, why not consider just a patch. One for each house, no sizes necessary. It isn't *that* hard to use a needle and thread to sew a patch to a favorite jacket you already have, or the hoodie you purchased.

Am planning on buying a hoodie before next winter

wut if u guys made pants shirts logos and stuff f that nature to model the houses and covens say im in one of them and u have the stuff made i order one and wear it u would make some good money sellin house things and coven things trust me

the shirt with the house crest and chorts and VR on it, but should put money upfront before making them, order pay then wait to have them, should be preorder, and prepaid before they are made. Like order and paid two month before made and only make the one who paid

Personally my family has purchased 13 shirts from VR. Not to mention a couple of other trinkets there too.

If there were House shirts, I would surely buy one and I know my wife would as well. I think the idea of a house or coven patch is a great idea. Or perhaps something that isn't size specific for the houses/covens like baseball caps or coffee mugs? I know there is a lot of money up front but I know I'd purchase more to support not only my house but VR too.

For our dojo we do silk screening on some of our Gi tops and sleeveless shirts. With this said until we have a decent number of people preordering and paying before hand does the clothing order go in.

I can't imagine trying to order clothes from the VR shop and the incredible cost that comes with that. I figure until the old stuff is sold it won't ever be cost effective to really stick in the new stuff.

You also have to take into account that once in a while the houses change their graphics of their mascots, coat or arms, or the house symbols. You would really have to stick with one image if you really wanted to do something like this.

I think it would be best for now to be happy with what we have available.

I raise my hand I buy alot from the VR Store :) And the quality of all of the stuff is great quality. I want to give Cancer and "Job Well Done" on that. I agree with DNG but also sounds kinda cool, i buy now so i'd buy again..

that would be neat if patches could be sold through the VR store. But doing sales in houses of other merch seems more plausible.

Perhaps iron-ons could be considered for the basic emblem of the House/Coven. However, over time this would get out of hand, I think.

Though a great idea, it should be noted that perhaps it should -just- be the 7 main houses.

As a graphic design artist, and former business owner i know what goes into ordering products and demand to order in quantity when u buy such a product. My only idea to solve the solution to having a house or coven name on the shirt would be to pay an extra cost to have an embroidery shop do the name and no logo envolved as embroidery cost an arm and a leg for creation of logos. It would be more cost effective to just embroider the house name or "Proud member of "

In wisconsin there are a few places that might embroider such a thing for around $3.50-$5.00.

two problems i see with this.

1. if i were a coven master i'd be upset that i couldn't get one from my coven.

2. the crests change every once and while.... they'd have to agree to not change it anymore... and considering the Houses can sometimes be transfered to another person, well they would want to change thier crest.

It sounds like a good idea, but the fundamental problems make it an unpractical one to spend money on. Crest changes and potential market are all concerns. I wouldn't mind spending some cash on a t-shirt, but not if a month later the crest will change.

And then we can move into the whole realm of VR shot glasses, tankards, blood vials, chalices, etc etc....

patches of the house crests...stickers of the house crest....im not at a high enough level to be in a house but in the future i wouldnt mind puttin my houses crest on my helmet....i laid my dirt bike down and put a wiked crack in my helmet,it has been repared but i woudent mind covering it up.....

H ow about buying iron on paper and printing up house or coven crests and iron on shirts,hoodies,orwhatever for an additional price.that way the cost is down on ordering more shirts.

Although I do not belong to any of the houses yet, the idea of having a shirt with your house logo and name sound really cool..... I would really like when I'm as high to belong to a house to have the posibility to show the others this web page and how cool it is!

I would tend to agree with the patch idea it would end up less costly, but another thought would be to just have the name embroidered under the vr logo. something like proud member of ____. Just a thought as far as not worring about the crest changes/expense of multi colored intricate designs.

How about buying the clothes that are on the vr site now before requesting things that are going to cost Cancer more money?
