i dont know if this is in the right section
but does anyone remember their past lives? if so what was it? and how many lives do u know for sure you have?
if you dont believe in past lives please state why. thank you

I have remembered a few of mine.

One particular one I recall watching my parents get burned at the stake as I hid with my two younger siblings. I know this one to be a past life because in this life I have met the man that was my father in that life and we both have the exact same memory. It was very odd.

I recall being married and dying of TB in a past life.

There are many lives I remember bits and pieces of, but never the enitrety of the life.

n i think its weird i know how many lives iv had.
eg. one- my best friend killed me
eg two- i killed her
eg three- i was married to my best male friend and was happy

so another question do u believe souls travile together?

I think it is possible for souls to travel together, but maybe not be in the exact place all the time. I have met many people from past lives in this life, and we immediatly know one another and remember things from the past. Its a fun yet odd experiance.

I think I know one of mine. I went into a sort of trance thing and saw an old city, I didn't recognise it but for some reason I knew it was New York and it was home. There were horses and carriges and I was a young man.
Another I killed myself by slitting my wrist. I actually have the scar on this body. Weird.
I believe I knew my best friend in this life before, and I'll know her again. :-) She's one of my soulmates.

i think i have had 13 past lives. the most recent one i was a vampire. i was killed and my friend slaughtered half the village where i was killed. in most of my other lives, i was various types of demons. Fox and wolf are the ones i remember the most. another reason why they are two of my favorite animals.

I have never believed in past lives before. Recently, though I met someone that I feel a strong pull towards. I have never seen him before but it feels like I have known him. It feels like I may have known him in a past life. Now I get the feeling that I have lived past lives but I do not remember anything other than general feelings. For example, the guy that I met I feel a strong friendly feeling but I do not have any specific memories of him.

i remember mine. I had 17 that still influence my life today. The one that is the main source is my life as a elf and a wolf. But just like then i am still wolf, but lycan and loving it. Hating the fact that some of the things that i done in the past i have done more than once in this life time.

i rember one i was wearing some poffy dress and got pushed off of a castle wall....

I don't remember how many because I only remember one. My mother was my sister, she would breast feed me and instead of milk it was blood. The era was predynastic Egypt, maybe the 6th or 7th millenium bce. It was a very brutal and barbaric time. I grew up to be a soldier, and killed many enemy and drank their blood.

I very much believe in past lives. I know deep down that I have had a few past lives, but I sadly don't recall them. It would be interesting to know. But perhaps there is a reason why I don't..Either way it's all right.

i do believe in soul travel.
As far as past lives... I remember some things that are kinda wierd that could be...I keep having dreams of a girl(myself) walking down a dark road that leads to a cave...And I meet my parents there and we are hiding from people trying to kill us.

I believe there is past lives we have lived.
I believe once we are done with a life and pass on we connect to the higher self and learn and communicate before moving on to the next life and so on.

At this time I can remember being a servant in Egypt, an alchemist assistant, a warrioress for my tribe.

I really would like to have a past life regression so I really can find out myself more in depth what they could really mean.

I haven't had any past life experiences or memories, but as I was reading through the ones posted I noticed that quite a few claimed to have either been murdered or commited suicide, so do you think they died before it was their time and this life may just be a second chance? and others who have had many lives, have needed to have many chances to either fulfill their destiny or to just complete life itself?

I don't have an absolute knowledge of my past lives. Most of what I experience is peicemeeal moments of clarity.

i know how i died in each, the lives themselves are kinda sketchy because i only really get glimpses of them when i'm asleep or meditating.

I don't remember much. I recognize some people and connect with them in different planes... and all I know is I met the guy I am supposed to be with. We found each other in this life through fate and if we travelled the same plane together, then I am not complaining. XD lol

I certainly believe in past lives. I can recall over two dozen previous lives dating as far back as the Crusades. I am only able to tap into these memories through deep meditation.

I do believe in past lives... that each life is a learning experience that we carry with just from life to life, and you remember what you need to know in each life time.

I know I was ancient egyptian, two lives during medievel times, pompeii, was in ww2 and vietnam... they are just the lives i remember lol.

I believe in past lives. I do think that certain souls may follow each other. I have always thought that the people you met and take an instant liking to was possibly someone you liked in a past life. The opposite is true of someone you take an instant disliking to in this life. You may have been their enemy . I do not know if everyone remembers their past lives. I have always believe that some people have a affinity for certain parts of history of maybe some country they never visited in this life, because of a past existence.

well there is only one that kept poping up for me it was me geting murdered though I still need to figure out why and who did that. and it was in Ancient Egypt to I also feel a tie to Imhotep for some reason lol its really cool.

And I do think people can travel together in each life. If its your soul mate you will travel together forever. And i think u can have more than one soul mate too...I'm not sure why I know that but i do lol

I definitely believe that a soul can live on this earth more than once. I don't exactly remember any lives, but I have bits and pieces. Not enough to really recall a life, but memories that can not be mine from this life. Sometimes I will be reminded of places I've never been in this life, but I must have been in past lives. Weird stuff like that. Who knows, maybe it is all a by-product of an over active imagination, maybe it is more.

I think that if you have a strong bond with someone in one life that there is a very good possibility you'll be drawn to them in this life as well. How that plays out, I couldn't say.

I definitely believe in past lives but for some reason mine dont ever seem to "show themselves" to me..

Unfortunately, I can't say that I remember any of mine although I strongly believe in past lives. I do know this much, there have been times especially recently, while visiting a place I had never been before, when it hit me that I not only had been there but it was home. It was liked I belonged there. It was like being hit by a train. I was home. Then when I had to return to my actual home I felt out of place. But the feeling of belonging to a certain time or era I do seem to pickup on that.

I do believe in past lives although I can only recall flashes of what may have been my own. I also think that souls may not travel together necessarily, but that they may indeed be brought together again in another life.

Also, agreeing with Billy, I have enough trouble getting through THIS life let alone trying to remember past lives.. lol Although I'm very interested in knowing who I might have been or known or what I may have done..I'm not sure any knowledge I would gain from past lives would help me in this one.

I believe in past lives because i have had a few and most recently my past life has started to effect my present one. and in order to get a hold on it i made a pilgramage to Egypt, I got clarity.

one of mine was that I was a little boy in England... It's weird to be female now but know at a certain point I was male..

Sometimes you carry things from your past life in your life now

i just find it weird how i remember all/most of mine. i dont know my names i just know.

I remember most of my lives.
All but three of them were befor 1200ad.
Those were 1700, 1910, and present.

I believe in past lives, i can remeber 3 of mine, some of my drawings are from my past lives well this's what this person said dunno if it's true or not.

I was told I died in a fire in my last life. I remember being on a ship. And in this life I was never on a ship.

i remember mine i was in england a witch, always wearing black maiden gowns i coninuously have these dreams in full blown color, i was very young and married to a handsome man all black and tall, thats all i can pretty much remember!

I remember many of mine, as this topic is a commonly repetative thread, but a good one- I will only go into details on lived is asked, so as to not repeat myself. I wanted to comment on a few other thoughts voiced here.

One person mentioned they had a scar from a cuisicde wrist slaching in another life...that's not all that uncommon an occurence. I have a very clode friend who does Reiki- and once I saw her do a healing, as well as having conversed about this--- that in each life we have, there can be an illness a scar, or another mark on our current forms to remind us, that we have a mission to correct a problem froma past life, or trauma that needs healing. A male friend who got healed by her has many attachments from his past that negatively affected his current life...she pulled them out and he slowly got better, or also had alot of previously blocked memories and issues come to the surface to be worked out. He and I had a few past lives, but in one he tried to kill me, it backfired, I cursed him...and it caused a karmic unbalance, mostly on his side- but I needed to DO something for him in this life to make it work itself out.

Saying that our past lives are unimportant, or needing to be left behind would defeat the souls purpose to learn and evolve. We are here for a reason...we progress or regress depending on our behaviours, or lessons learnt.

i am unsure about past lives just as i am unsure about future lives. sometimes we get strong feelings with complete strangers or have crazy dreams, but i cannot rationally jump to those experiences being residual effects from a previous life.

Well I FEEL like I've been around for a long time.

I sometimes have flashes of ice, glaciers and.. wolly mammoths.. I'm deathly afraid of those things and I don't know why.

I also sometimes have dreams about running with wolves- and I can tell the time period is different than the one we're in because of what I see around me...

I have dreams about tribes that live in my woods and how I was born of two tribes that clash....

I've met people who remeber past lives with me- as well as I with them.

I believe in reincarnation due to the curiousity when one dies. we cannot be sure how death feels until we have bene in its grasps.
I believe that when we die we either see blackness, some believe in when we die we go to heaven or hell, the other belief of mine is that we get reincarnated into another individual. Karma works in mysterious ways. we get reincarnated into something or someone else with no reoccurance of our past life or the lives before that.

I also have pass lives and remember them well same as with some people I meet it is fun yet odd that we were a big part of one anothers lives....

i have some memories of standing alone in the dark watching, makeing sure i was safe. but then there are memories of me being tourtued. and hung.

I do believe in past lives . I also believe the soul follows you . I remember one very well it's during the cival war . There was this huge planation house with huge trees . The last time I visited my brother in Mobil Ala. he took me to see his new house . As we riding the area started looking familar , and thats when I saw the house , it was exactly the way I've seen it.

i have this re-occurring dream about being an Egyptian prince that seems very real. one of my friends also has a similar dream that he is a slave during the Egyptian times and he was killed by an Egyptian prince. kinda spooky if u ask me. i think the weirdest part though is that there is a temple in Egypt that has the same spelling of my last name accept for one letter

i think i was a soldier in my past life because i see myself in my dreams fighting people and sometimes, i feel so brave which is not normal for me..

i also think that i had another past life, maybe i was a dark creature, i'm not of sure what kind but i often dream of being chased by a vampire and i always appreciate and like dark creatures and theories about them. i love staying in the dark because it soothes my soul.

but who knows for sure..

Quineveer is struck to the floor,this saxon is stood over her,axe in hand.Just as he,s about to deliver the death blow,i,m running to her,and using my sword to catch the axe,i then cut the back of his leg,before cutting him down.Then i help her up,then i always wake up at this point.

I do believe in past lives i can see myself back in the old days before there was cars, living i guess you could say a good life because i was happy. some things today are like deja vu. My past life is very vivid at times but at others i stuggle with the picture

I believe that the soul transends many lifetimes and that with it carries wisdom, and healing powerof time. It requires age to unlock the cognitive memories of its past travels.

I don't recall any memories of past lives. But I have always felt that I have had some. Sometimes I know things I shouldn't and do things I shouldn't know how to do.

i think that we ALL have past lives...there is just to many things that happens in our everyday lkives not to...i thik its what makes us US

I only knew one, but that isn't intresting.. I was just a normal schoolgirl, but died at a young age

Reincarnation as it is generally understood is not supported by the classical religeons, including Hinduism and Buddism from which the theory is generally understood to have origionated.

But that is just my interpretation from what I have read of the Gita etc. and from the regular discourse I had when I was working in a temple in India for 3 months.

That being said, I think it makes for absolutely wonderful romantic fiction.

I have seen a few of my past life’s when I was scrying.

In one of them I was a wolf. I was running from a different pack of wolves on the woods and there was snow on the ground. I came to a clearing in the forest, I continued to run straight through the clearing when my foot caught in a hunting trap. As the wolves surrounded me barking a moving closer I started to try to chew off my leg that was broken so I could maybe escape with my life. The other wolves ended up killing me.

That was one of the most interesting past life’s I have had so far that I know of.

i believe in past lives....even if they do not show to everyone...

While I may not remember my past lives. I remember each and every death I have experianced. And the pain that went with it. Sometimes the memories of my past life feel so current that they interfere with my present.

i, for one, dont believe in past lives, i do believe that ppl that think they lived a past life are just reliving parts of a book, movie, or something that they have heard and think they lived a past life. i've dreamt that i was a captain on a british frigate during the late 1700's, but i know i never lived before, just a book i read or a movie i saw. nothing i have read or seen has shown me differently. of course, this is just my beliefs.
