I was reading an article about Don Henri...I found it very interesting, He dresses like dracula sporting long locks & deadly white skin, 2 inch nails pointed & long, Ice blue contact lenses & caninesfiled into fangs!

He's says "I feed upon peoples energy by drinking their blood, drinking blood gives me spiritual nourishment and its a way a way of connesting with someone. It helps me feel more emotionally ful-filled, When i've woken up on the wrong side of the bed, in my case the coffin, i get a craving, after i've sucked down on a shot of my girlfriends blood, i get a huge rush of endorphins, my temperture soars and i'll be bouncing off the walls for about 3days!"

Does anyone else feel like this when they have blood!?

What do you personally think of Don Henrie!?

Not quite to that extent. With me it's mutual thing. I know I literally don't need blood to survive.

I dont need it but that doesn't mean I dont want it.

The fellow may very well need the energy from the blood he drinks but I believe he's using the Hollywood stereotype vampire look as a way of becoming a "Celebrity Vampire."

I agree with nightgame, he is using his looks.

i dont drink blood personaly so i cannot comment on this but as for the way he chooses to dress, if it pleases him why not? i find that look sexy and alluring and so do many others, its only like following the latest catwalk fashions, they tell us whats in and we wear it, at least he dares to be different.

If his look works for him, which it clearly does or he wouldn't be a celebrity, then good for him. With regard to blood drinking, all I have to say is..............it's bloody marvelous, isn't it?

I dont need blood but the energy in it to keep me healthy.And yes the longer i go without the more drained i feel ,but his costume is a lil much he has become a sterotype

Personally I think he's living it to it's fullest. Some may not agree with him but I think the majority that are really into the lifestyle can appreciate his candidacy.

I wouldn't say consuming blood gives me a high, but it can make me feel good. As for Henri, if he's having fun and enjoying his lifestyle, then more power to him.

I dont drink anyone elses blood, so about that im not to sure. But it sounds like hes taking it a bit far & living in a fantasy that hes created for himself. Thats just me & how i feel though....

Personally it sounds over exadurated, Fair enough he enjoys blood but to say that it gets him bouncing off the walls seems a bit bizzare.

It makes sense however what he thinks and tends to believe appart from over exaduration i think its up to him how he lives his life.

He very well could be a vampire- however, I think he uses vampirism as a way to gain fame.

He could be as the drinking of someone ealses blood is a symbol of trust for me plus it does give me a type of emotional bust up. So to me he could possily be a real vampire but is going to far on the looks thing.

i say to each his own... personaly i think he is wickedly hot... as far as the blood drinking... it can be very sensual and erotic... only if done with extreme caution and not just anyone... it has to be with a lover or a donor that is yours only... well at lesat for me that is... wicked kisses and blessed be, darla...

Now Ive heard of blood being used 4 keeping skin young and youthful but never 4 making a person feel good and giving them that feeling its all in your head folks lol jmo though.

well I do think Don Henri is kinda hot but yes he has gotten caught up in the stereotype but it does seem to be working for him.

I dont have to have blood but, it is very nice to have and something I want everyday, all the time.

This guy sounds like he is living his life like he wants to, everyone has the right to live their life how they want to, maybe to him his life isnt a fantasy and people are not really gaining fame by dressing up in vampire type clothes...

I read the link that someone posted & i think this is his "cash cow" per se. Hes found something & seems to be using it to his advantage even though i still think the man is living in a made up fantasy land

Yes, he's a celebrity. I never watched his televsion show- but I have seen him in interviews. He looks like a joke- but he does at times have very interesting things to say. He has a pretty neat website. Nothing on this one though :P

I think it's interesting that the tone of this thread seems to be saying using image is bad. Considering that the Goth movement (which has many ties to vampirism) has from the get go been image driven; either by the shock factor or the stress to look beyond.

To me it seems he does a good job of showing that while image is only so much, it is still an important part of how we express ourselves. And by putting himself forward in such a way he is showing that there is more to lifestyle than just the movies.

Is he showing the full extent of the lifestyle, no. Unless you know someone, there is no way to do this. Still I find he is a good person to have in the media as the sensationalism does draw the public attention more.

Well for me drinking blood is only done for the intimacy. I only drink from those that are close friends of mine.

I do feel that way when I drink blood. But it only lasts for the day. As for the man, good for him. Going around all dressed up. I only dress up when I go to a party or a concert. Or some other event like that. Other wise it's jeans and tank tops for me. :)

That's an important point, Liebe. The man has meat and depth beyond his appearance (I know some will laugh at that opinion). He is good friends with Michelle Belanger~ and for those of you that have great respect for her- do you think she would associate with someone who had no depth? It would very much put a damper on the seriousness of her work.

I draw spiritual energy from others. I have no need for blood. Besides, last time I drank blood, it had congealed to the consistency of runny eggs. Didn't feel too great going down...

If the shoe fits, wear it; if the costume fits, work it. Obviously in this particular case it's literal. Getting into a particular role can be crucial for a career at times, or help with the publicity in situations observed by the publics eye. However, I don't believe, not that I disagree, but don't particularly agree to drinking blood on a personal level. Being somone from the Health industry, I take my own health and that of those around me very seriously, and the potential risks and implications invloved in doing so can be very consequential. If an individual is going to drink blood, I would advise getting it from a blood clinic where it has been screened and tested. What is in the individuals blood is beng ingested, and, in some cases can lead to the onset of Hepatitis, HIV, parasites and so on. Also, if an individual is taking medications, those are carried from the blood and being broken down and digested, you cannot know the affects these substances can have and the percentage passed on the the ingestor. There is a fine line between the flight of the imagination, and consequences of reality. Tread those lines softy and with due diligence darlings', the end result can be more then you have bargained for.

Ok so some of you havent heard of him, some of oyu think he's using the hollywood stereotype to get famous etc etc....but if you were in his shoes would you do the same as he has to get into the spot light or would you not protray our kind like that!?

i think the name sounds a little familuar but im not forsure, anyways maybe hes just being who he wants to be. i feel to be into something you dont have to start from a child, people change there ways theres nothing wrong with that

Of course he is using his look for fame..good for him though..How many others are out there that look like him and are making a name for themselves? Most who are using their looks are typical hollywood fodder..and I think its a nice change.
He was on a reality series..I dont remember which one now...

And about the blood..I dont need it, but I like it. Only from select people and it has never made me feel as he says, but, to each his own I guess.

Funny...I added him on my space and I had a really cool painting of him up that was done by an artist and I put a caption underneath that said "handsome devil". I didn't know that was him at the time, and then he commented my picture saying "I am aren't I?" I thought it was pretty funny...it takes me awhile to figure out these things.

Personally, I do not drink blood so I can not comment on that part of the thread, but about Don Henrie. I think he is just trying to become famous.

Sorry, I didn't finish my post. I think that he is trying to gain fame through the way he acts and the way that he dresses. I am not saying that he isn't a vampire I am just saying that he is a little eccentric.

I love him and I loved what he did with Mad Mad House. I don't react to blood the same way as he does, but everyone is different.

I'm not sure if Don Henry is a Vampire or not but he sure does like to be in the spotlight.

I feel much better,more energy etc.if I sang.feed,.but it has not been possible for some time, and psi. gets me by.
as far as the rush he describes..yes and much more than that. a..warming of the soul for lack of a better term.

i dont need blood to servive but it does give a nice little sexual rush as for the vampire don henry i say good for him i watched the show mad mad house when it aired on scifi i found him to be real to his beliefs and yes he wants fame dont we all and he has the look to get it so his claim to fame is being a vampire atlease its being known in public that hes not ashamed to be different and doesnt need to follow the herd of society i give him respect for the courage he has to do this.
