ok so heres a good question....... Do you think the goddess ever interveens and gives ppl visions to show them who and where their true love is....... and what........ breed they are?

I don't think she gives visions solely on love.....but gives clues, like a person whos a part of the vision may be the one for you and depending on what their part in that vision is... Of course this is just one opinion since I have already found the love of my life and I have no desire to ask if there is or was someone else intended for me.....

Well isis is a god/dess so i do not know why she could not show people visions of who and where their true love are at...

usually the gods will not try to show themselves to others but give hints on paths or challenges to lead us in the path they wish.

All my dealings with Isis are that she will pressgang other people into service to force her trials on her priests.

Aparently shes not very nice about it. So unless you are one of "hers", by having sworn your fealty to her; or you have no such bonds yet are dealing with her anyway. You might be doing her bidding in order to affect a ley member of hers, whom she wants back on track...

i think isis does gives us hints because i believe that after my husband is gone my true love will appear. I know he isnt but i still love him but part of me has always felt like my mate is still out their it is just a gut feling i have always had.

That being said.. I was sort of hoping for a question pertaining particularly to one of my favorite Goddesses..Isis .. hence the title of the thread. Any reason why you picked on her exclusively?

i believe that since she is a godess that maybe she wouldnt show you yur true love but may give hints to who it is :)

I don't believe in Isis, but, that's besides the point. If she was to intervene, I think she only would if one was in dire need and couldn't figure it out for themselves, or was headed in the wrong direction...She might drop some hints. I don't think she would send visions, though.

I have people who are sworn to other dieties and Isis has thrust herself upon those people in order to get them to do things for her, and her servants on this plane (her priest class, or living patrons etc...) She has a messed up sense of perspective so if you can be useful. Enjoy visions...

Deities are like that of the tarot...Merely giving hints and clues, a sort of parable in a way to let the journeyman ride the tide of knowledge for their own gain into the knowledge of themselves. Let the wiseman wander away from the path as it is nessessary to advance onto the unknown.

I believe Isis could influence your finding love, but ultimately it is still up to you to decide if that is who you want to be with.

Perhaps you can have a vision that would show you who it is that loves you or would be right for you. I just think that love changes over time and has to be nutured to be real. Maybe the vision is showing you the person that will take the time to go past the first stage of attraction and love with you and make it last for a lifetime.

Love is a matter of free will. I am not one for love spells, etc. I also think the goddess or whoever is trying to send you a message is not just trying to help you make a love connection.

no, i do not believe that the gods interfer with our daily life so they would not show us our true love unless we asked them too.

I personally think that visions/voices of goddesses and gods are really the inner most thoughts that we harbor. The reason they come across as alien is that we would not listen to ourselves unless it seemed that a higher power has driven us in a certain direction. Its kind of like when you were thinking about something and someone else says it, so you finally decide to do it. You need the extra encouragement to believe your first step is the right one.

I beleive that we make our own destiny and sometime fate intervens.

It is possible that the Goddess is trying to show you something important about this person but not necessarily love. Make sure you ask for guidance when it comes to these visions as it may be a warning to stay away from this person.

However if you are already involved in a relationship with this person, you must try as you may to follow your own heart. Sometime we just have to make mistakes and learn from them.

Yes, Isis is the Goddess of love and fertility. You may find your so-called true love. However, it will not last long, but only for a short season. Which may be years or just a few months. For we must become living demons of lust. Instead of desiring one particular person, many will flock to you. So, do not go looking for love, let love find you and seek you out.

I think any vision we are going to get is going to be just hints not full on this is who you are going to be with. Visions as with dreams are often very open to interpretation.

I have found that the gods tend to work in subtler ways than visions. They work with me mostly through intuition or dreams or little signs. Meditation works well for me too. I may not get the answer sought during the meditation but sometime after it becomes clear.

I have had good luck with asking for specific signs if the need was great. I address a specific deity according to the question and give them three things to show me as a sign of yes and I give a definate time frame like 24 hours. The signs must be something you don't see everyday or that is cheating. Just beware that you do not read your omens to suit your desire.

I think we are shown a fork in the road and we have to decide which path to take. That they do not take us straight to our one true loves.

I believe they do help you with such things... but not everything..

I think that it is possible..I have never seen it in my life..but it is possible.

I know that as a popular egyptian Goddess with temples even in Great Britain that she must be powerful and I do think that she could help with bringing people together if you believe in her powers and worship her in some form.

I believe the goddess will give you clues and visions in your dreams.. Iwas not into the worship of egyptian dieties much .. but in 05 i had 3 dreams from isis..one delt with my soulmate and he strongly believes in the egyptian gods so perhaps she led me to him..
