Who else has had a past life reading? I had a few and they were shockingly the same. Acording to what I am told, in my past few lifetimes I have been a female russian ballerina, a scientist from another world, and Grigori Rasputin.
The other world persona is interesting....never known anyone who was told that before.
As for the rest....well it depends on what feels true to you I guess.
I had one and it was great, but I found out that I am an old soul. The way I understand this is I keep coming back because I can't get it right.
How does one go about getting a past life reading? I think it all sounds very interesting but very difficult to find a true psychic. There are way too many 'Miss Cleo' wannabe's running around these days.
ive never had a reading tho id love to but dont know any places around here to go to~ and i know there are so many fakes
wow i found this extremely interesting, i have never had my past lives read but i am thinking about having it done.
i do beleive in past lives, i havent really been told much about my past live but what i know its quite interesting...
I remeber bits and pieces of 2 past lives at least. I would love to go have a reading done, but the only person I know of who does them around here was a Wiccan priestess(is that what she would be called??) who came to the prison my son was in. I was a serving wench during the Revolutionary war, and I was a knight in the Crusades.
I've never had a past life reading, but it seems interesting and I do want to get one.. I go through wierd stages where I don't feel as myself or I'll have dreams of me, but it won't be me.. I'll be looking through my own eyes but if I take a look at myself in the dream it doesn't look like who I am, now. Maybe I should get one done, when I can..
I havent had one as yet but am more then willing to. The pproblem is finding a reader that isnt fake.
I never had a reading done, I'm pretty interested in going to get one done now so hopefully in the future I will get one.
all i know is my memories....cant say for sure if i was anyone famous for certain but that doesnt matter...i know ive beena woman several times and burned at the stake about 13 times...and crucified a couple times....that si about it...
i have had some and each time im told the same thing, and in all my past lives i was a warrior of some type or another
my pyschic told me im a very old soul. I cant really say who I was but I do believe I was a male during the golden age of ?Greece. I have had several dreams even as a child walking up to an acropolis. There is another dream that happens to reoccur even as a child where I was a teenager walking up to a dark stair to the a tower. I always seem frightened in the dream but never quite made it to the top but this dream has occured many times. The third dream that reoccurs Im a little boy perhaps 19th century. There is this house I lived in that was already haunted and a room I was too afraid to go into because I knew there were entities I didnt want to encounter. There is always something happening in that dream but it stays pretty much in the same setting. Now I dont know if I can say these are past life recollections but in the dream i feel as if Im very familiar with these places as if I have been there. Either that or Im just crazy and the dream just happens to be an illusion of my imagination
I have not had a past life reading, but I have had a Name reading. According to it, I have always been a soldier through the passage of time. Sometimes it was a good life and sometimes it was not so good. They’re where really very few specifics, as far as dates, linked to it.
For what I have been told, I have been around For Quite sometime...I have been in 8 lifetimes so far...And I dont plan on staying on the other side...I will keep being around until my goal is complete, and that may take until the end of days...
I did one once and wqas told that I lived in the biblical days. Might relate as to why I have an affinity to Egypt LOL.
One case that was researched by journalist. Bridey Murphy.

Go to a metaphysical church when they are having a psychic fair. I wouldn't get a reading there but make an appointment for a private reading. NO psychic is full proof or completely accurate on anything they say. It is irrational for anyone to think so and the churches will tell you this. Their beliefs are sort of universalist but they do believe in reincarnation and contacting souls that have passed, healing and teaching metaphysical what I call sciences but others would call pseudoscience; astrology, numberology, trance, meditation, you know many things like that.
You could also try a hypnotic regression as well and find out for yourself. I have done it through a reading, a guided remembrance and regression...all very interesting but that is the place I put the information...interesting. I remember some though but not in detail where you could go to a library and find me. I am not so sure we are suppose to remember in that way but live the life we have. Reincarnation is not a Judeo/Christian belief at least as they teach now so most who follow this belief system, very often don't believe in it. Other cultures do...MILLIONS of people.
I remember living in the deep South during the civil war and a reading confirmed this but I still keep it as interesting information. I know my name was Melody and I was a spoiled young lady who lived on a Plantation. I know it was in Georgia because when I went there I felt like I had come home and loved it even though brought up in a past faced state. I want to go back. When I did have the reading I was told I was a man more often than female as I am now and that many who are like that who are again born female are born into fire signs like mine, Aries because they have dominant personalities...heh I think they meant dominating, hehehe. Take it with a grain of salt.
I'd love to get a reading done. I know that I'm at home in the forest and medieval weapons feel very natural in my hands.
My advice thought would be get your money back. It sounds like the person was taking you for a ride
i had a reading done not so much past life but the lady said i was an old soul but most of the reading was for different issues
I believe in past lives but am skeptic about readings and things, this is only due to the fact that they can get info out of you some how and then can repeat it in a different way, and as for you being Rasputin, Nah i dont think so.
I rarely believe it likely to be true when someone reckons they were a famous historical figure in a past life, so I find it hard to believe you really were Rasputin, but perhaps were connected with him. Also, is it likely that you were a human in Russia for two lives?
However, famous historical figures had to become someone/something in their next lives, so it is possible, but unlikely.
I've never had a reading but I've used my own methods to determine what my past lives might have been. In recent months I've become almost 100% certain that in one of mine, I was involved in the Jacobite Rebellion. I believe there are clues visible in this current life to help you discover your previous ones.
Things that kept coming up lead me to believe this for example...
Being drawn to Scotland, a strangely familiar feeling whenever seeing a portrait of Prince Charlie, a very unusal feeling when visiting Culloden Battlefield, a penchant for the eighteenth century, my favourite song for most of my life being 'Over the Sea to Skye', purchasing a CD without knowing what any of the songs were and finding many of them to be about the Jacobites, and the weirdest of all was writing a similar storyline into the 'background' plot of my books, featuring two historical characters named Charlie and James who were fighting to see the rightful monarch returned to the throne.. this done when I knew nothing about the Jacobite Rebellion. When I realised this I think I froze in utter shock, and am now working on changing it.
If you don't know what I'm talking about see these...
Jacobite Rising
Bonnie Prince Charlie
Battle of Culloden.
You are right, it is highly unlikely, and things in this life can help you find what you where in the past life, i would like to find out it would be interesting.
I have never had a past life reading so I wouldn't know how to answer this other than I do believe in past lives because I have dreams and visions that are to vivid and lifelike from the past that I feel are memories instead of subconsciousness itself.
Well i have never ha d a reading but i have had dreams and i believe that i have actually had several past lives in fact. I think that we mess up in those past lives and we keep on being rencarnated to try to fix them some how those are my thoughts.
i have not had a reading but i do no i had a past life which i am an old soul which has returned to this life and i reliving again but this time it is different since i am sepperated from my love we are two living again and are ment to be we are both from the past but some of my memories are lost to me till i grow a lil older then they will become unlocked to me i hope as i have been told but the one dream keeps occuring night after night which is moreof nightmare to me then a dream thts all i can say on my past life
I will admit that is true Ade my dear because I have an affinity for vampires and even love the taste of blood and I have two moles in perfect alignment for fang marks on my neck I will post the picture so that it can be seen as soon as I can load it to the pc at home.
I've never had a past life regression, but I've always thought that the things we are drawn to or have great interest (or skill) in during our current lives may be due to what we were, experienced or lived in a previous life. We supposedly do not remember our past lives on a conscious level; but, if using past life regression works, that means somewhere in or minds is a record--which to me means that it is possible for part of those lives to sneak past our subconscious.
I concur with CherryAdvocaat on many of her points, and have myself come to theories as to where or what I may have been in a past life. I've always felt like I am an anachronism--that I do not belong in this time. I've always believed part of me dwells in a past that I've lived through before.
Great Posts everyone... Itotally agree with the fact that alot of people will say i was such and such in a past life as being hogwash, but for those that have had readings and reoccuring dreams that don't seem to find answers for, i would recommend attending a past life regression seminair,
I had a past life reading done gosh maybe 9-10 years ago, and told that yes i as well had a old soul as well, she told me that my fear of vehicles was because of being killed in an automobile acident as a child in new orleans, which she said is why i am so drawn to a place that I have never been to. I was also adviced in a previous life that in my last days i lived near water along a cove and that i had white hair and that I was some sort of practioner. And oddly enough I have had a white streak in my hair for aslong as i can remember.
i've never had a past life reading but i beleive that one of mine have to do with Japan, i have this weird obsesion for no reason with japan! And wierd dreams of looking out a Japanese prostitues eyes as if im her, kind of wierd lol
Yes I agree with PsiVampire on the feeling that you are living in the wrong century. Like you have a strange drawing towards a different period in history, like that's where you'd rather be or where you belong. I've always felt like this when it comes to the eighteenth century (1700s), and thus am certain I lived then.
If I could have a time machine I'd go live back then, honestly.
ive only had one before and i was told that i was a evil swordsman , i wasnt told much after that she told me she was uncomfortable with finishing the reading
For as now I have only tried to read my own past lives. Its only a matter of time before I let someone else try.
After that I will post what I thought and what someone else thought
I have sat down being Cherokee with my local tribe shaman and went through past life analysis and awakening to remesh the past selves with the present selves to re obtain the knowledge of past ages that would otherwise be lost. th journey of self thus had been taken underway.
Here is an early case of past Life Claims one that was researched by Journalist. http://www.skepdic.com/hypnosis.html
*raises hand me me me*
I was told I was a slave girl during the rise of Egypt :)
and gave water to the ones who built the pyramids.
I was also told i was a witch around the time Salem had the witch trials and i was hung.
Then i was told I was a defined lady in the 1800's and lived for a long time.
All this in one reading.
She said I had lived 3 lives and I wanted to find out I think my life's are great. But I don't think it was worth the $20.00 usd i spent just to hear it.
I would recommend people look into their geneology.. but avoid the pop-up market of people that claim to be geneologist at all cost, most local libraries have the basics you need, or look into the time lines, along with career orintation quizes, all this info can be used to reflect on alter egos, or time line persona variations. You may find something about your distant ancesters as well. I have many questions about application from this practice, as well as the process one needs to go through to gain accredidation.
This guy named Discardus found me on myspace, and told me I have a stake in my right eye and Im finnolla, a wiccan from the 16th century.. IDK, sounded weird to me..
I bet you had you followed him into a convesation he would have connected your past life with his.. a New Age pick-up line I suspect.
Hmmm.. a fringe benefit of pretend you are a former lover of mine..
I am looking right now into Consumer alerts for people practicing in Past life fields, and the conflict that is arising from such things, from clients paying advanced fees, and places closing..unwanted advancements.
Oy sbetee...
"Wicca (IPA: /ˈwɪkə/) is a pagan, nature-based religion popularised in 1954 by Gerald Gardner, a retired British civil servant, who at the time called it Witchcraft and its adherents "the Wica".[1] He said that the religion, of which he was an initiate, was a modern survival of an old witchcraft mystery religion which had existed in secret for hundreds of years, originating in the pre-Christian paganism of Europe.[1] The veracity of Gardner's statements cannot be independently proven, however, and it is possible that Wiccan theology began to be compiled no earlier than the 1920s.["
Methinks be was bullshitting you my dear, Wicca hasn't been around that long, but Paganism has of course, so unless he merely got his vernacular confused, he was making shit up. Sounds a bit creepy to me!
His myspace page is filled with women who LOVE HIM AND HIS WORK.. I guess he has 14 people living in his house in Ludington(im pretty sure thats where he is).. He stopped talking to me because i told him I wouldnt have group sex with him and his 14 other coven members at the same time..ewwww
Glad you stayed away. Get a real hypnotist to do the past life regression. This way you get a better chance of a real reading. And a trained professional.
I just peeked on line I could enough to have a practice in 3 months. I can even be paired up with an existing practice.
That's just creepy sbetee but there aren't those creepy people just on myspace. But most just hang there they are off line to.Like the one i payed $20.00 to after the reading i was asked for the money or some other kind of payment.I was offended and handed over the money.I felt bad and never again believed any one who said you have past lives want to know about them....
I see role playing as recreation, to attach clinical significance to creating a role, I would question the "guides" source. If a person is allowing themselves to undergo suggest based programing.. I would hardly allow a friend to do something like that, let alone a stranger.
Transferring (to a third party) any problems is not a good idea, if an actual therapist delved in such things they would get adverse reactions from others in their field, (note I am note a big fan of therapist) but they do serve a purpose to some. They tend to be direct, especially when a patient is dodgy about dealing with of digging into issues.. if they where to flatter the person, they would let a person leave their office without any progress to recover from their actual issue.
It is in the expectation, some go to therapist only because others strongly advise it.. sometimes involving surrounding issues effected by a persons underlying issues. They are going then for the wrong reason to begin with, and then they are likely to sabotage the experience to invest in an "I told you it was pointless retort." to the person that suggested it. So what drives a person to go to a Past life regressionalist? I have read variations on in the New Age magazines, they even vary the title they use, fading out the former terms for more clinic names, i know that some cross past life with pass life regression. Something I have experienced.. but that is with a therapist involved in the process as well. I released a lot of things through that. Not to be confused with any occult practice.. yet I wonder why past life has changed the operating name so much? Could it be that they are attempting to operate under an assumed name?
People pay good money to a crack pot who learnt his/her practice from Sigmund Freud. He his self was completely and a totally diagnosed as a fruit cake.He slept with his mother and blamed your troubles on your parents perhaps your father did it.Or you were unloved as a child and are seeking negative attention because of the lack of love. When In fact Freud was placing his self in his subjects shoes and clinically self diagnosing his own mental behavior. But you have to love psychotherapy developed by a fruit cake used to treat fruit cakes.I for one went threw the whole psychotherapy and when I was done with my sessions i was told you are normal there was nothing wrong with you.We are so sorry that you were placed on so many drugs to treat your illness you did not have.
I was sent to therapy because everybody thinks im nuts, but when I got there, they tried to treat me for O.C.D. I guess it was more important to them.. I left when they scheduled me to see the doctor for drugs for O.C.D. Thats NOT what I was there for..
I never had anyone read mine but I can read others and my own
I manage to read 13 of my past lives. I also can read others but only when in their presence, it is sort of a gift I just have flashbacks of their past lives, for that i need to just let them imprint me with their aura and then it happens, if I block then I do not see anything.
according to my past lives i was king louis the 14ths mistress.i find this shocking cause whenever i hear anything about him or a movie or anything i'm instantly connected to whatever it is and won't budge. its facinating.
I am and have always been a witch in Ireland and Scotland each time it was very tragic but I have learned more and more each time I come back . I started out as a healer lost my man to a storm and died in a snow storm watching for him to return. so yes past lives are real.
I haven't had the opportunity to have a past life reading but am interested in what it's all about and the information that could be construed through this. Afterall, it baffles me that I can go to a place I have never visited before and get a deja vu feeling, like I have been there. I find that fascinating.

ANSWER AS A MAN, 1981
These are books by Taylor Caldwell. The book below was a regression done with Jess Stearn.
In Search of Taylor Caldwell by Jess Stearn (1974);
A prolific author of popular fiction, who used often in her works real historical events or persons. Taylor Caldwell's best-known works include DYNASTY OF DEATH (1938), an epic story about intrigues and alliances of two Pennsylvania families involved in the manufacture of armaments. Her last major novel, ANSWER AS A MAN (1980), told a story of a man who begins his rise to prestige and power in the midst of the Depression.
Taylor Caldwell was not her real name. I have the Romance of Atlantis and In Search of a Soul, dealing with a regression of Taylor Caldwell.
The second book deals with hypnotic regression. Skeptic sites are debunking sites and that is all they are. They generally obscure the facts and I don't know how anyone in this day and age could debunk hypnosis no matter what the therapist labels themselves or their interest for being a hypnosis practitioner. All I have to say on that.
Taylor Caldwell met Mr. Stearn at a function and they began talking and her historical novels were strickingly precise to time periods even though she says she made it all up. I won't go into detail but he managed to help her get her Atlantis book published which she had for a long time. He also talked her into a regression and wrote a book about it. It is one of the most interesting regressions I have ever read and NO she was not a famous person in all of her lives, quite to the contrary. She was also a big skeptic of the whole thing. Below is another book on a similar topic.
The Search for the Girl with the Blue Eyes: A Venture Into Reincarnation
by Jess Stearn
Jess Stearn (April 26, 1914 - March 27, 2002), born in Syracuse NY, was a journalist and author of more than thirty books, nine of which were bestsellers. He was a prize-winning reporter for the New York Daily News for 17 years, and was later an Associate Editor at Newsweek. He was the son of Rabbi David Stern.
You can find things all over the internet about Jess Stearn and in the 70s everyone was reading his books. He wrote some on Edgar Cayce as well.
From the Skeptics Dictionary.
past life regression
Past life regression (PLR) is the alleged journeying into one's past lives while hypnotized. While it is true that many patients recall past lives, it is highly probable that their memories are false memories. The memories are from experiences in this life, pure products of the imagination, intentional or unintentional suggestions from the hypnotist, or confabulations.
Some New Age therapists do PLR therapy under the guise of personal growth; others under the guise of healing. As a tool for New Age explorers, there may be little harm in encouraging people to remember what are probably false memories about their living in earlier centuries or for encouraging them to go forward in time and glimpse into the future. But as a method of healing, it must be apparent even to the most superficial of therapists that there are great dangers in encouraging patients to create delusions. Some false memories may be harmless, but others can be devastating. They can increase a person's suffering, as well as destroy loving relationships with family members. The care with which hypnosis should be used seems obvious.
Some therapists think hypnosis opens a window to the unconscious mind where memories of past lives are stored. How memories of past lives get into the unconscious mind of a person is not known, but advocates loosely adhere to a doctrine of reincarnation, even though such a doctrine does not require a belief in the unconscious mind as a reservoir of memories of past lives.
PLR therapists claim that past life regression is essential to healing and helping their patients. Some therapists claim that past life therapy can help even those who don't believe in past lives. The practice is given undeserved credibility because of the credentials of some of its leading advocates, e.g., Brian L. Weiss, M.D., who is a graduate of Columbia University and Yale Medical School and Chairman Emeritus of Psychiatry at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami. There are no medical internships in PLR therapy, nor does being a medical doctor grant one special authority in metaphysics, the occult or the supernatural.
reincarnation and PLR
Psychologist Robert Baker demonstrated that belief in reincarnation is the greatest predictor of whether a subject would have a past-life memory while under past life regression hypnotherapy. Furthermore, Baker demonstrated that the subject's expectations significantly affect the past-life regressive session. He divided a group of 60 students into three groups. He told the first group that they were about to experience an exciting new therapy that could help them uncover their past lives. Eighty-five per cent in this group were successful in "remembering" a past life. He told the second group that they were to learn about a therapy which may or may not work to engender past-life memories. In this group, the success rate was 60%. He told the third group that the therapy was crazy and that normal people generally do not experience a past life. Only 10% of this group had a past-life "memory."
There are at least two attractive features of past life regression. Since therapists charge by the hour, the need to explore centuries instead of years will greatly extend the length of time a patient will need to be "treated," thereby increasing the cost of therapy. Secondly, the therapist and patient can usually speculate wildly without much fear of being contradicted by the facts. However, this can backfire if anyone bothers to investigate the matter, as in the case of Bridey Murphy, the case that started this craze in 1952.
I haven't had one before. But, in my opinion, you can't find out what you did or who you were in a past life. As that's what it is. Past.
I haven`t had a reading, i don`t trust pychics much. I do know/ remember some of my past lives (only two) but by myself, without external help.
I have tried to have readings but normally they get all weird around me. I would love to find someone who would read me and tell me why I feel so old all the time. I have always felt like I am an old soul like I don't really fit in with people close to my own age.
I have been told that I am an old soul, I have been a member of a high council that controled the kings of nations and was even a general in the roman empire, but I came into this lifetime to make things right and do what it is I need to do to get it right.... what ever that means
I have been told by some friends from job corps that I am Satan's daughter known as Destiny. She had a angel form with Black wings and her name at that was Destroyer Angel.I honestly think that was my past life.I was told a lot had gone on and that I had missed a lot as well.I do believe that we all had past lives and now we are trying to learn from the mistakes.I know for a fact that my temper came from Destiny since her (my) father was/is Satan. So yeah.
I had some readings. I was a detective in the 30s in New York City. My name was Donald. I lived a pretty uneventful life, or ordinary you might say. Another one I was a Viking named Herjolf, nothing really exciting happened to me there either.
I've never had a past life reading, but I think it'd be neat if I did. On the other hand, I kind of don't want to know about my past life, I mean what if I was a really bad person, like Hitler, or something...
Interesting point, Evita, which brings up more questions. Is there critera to be reincarnated? Only the good? Is anyone just "thrown away" if you're evil enough?
You would think it would, dabbler, but it's been my experience with friends and myself is that you're someone of no consequence and records are sketchy at best, especially the longer in the past you go. I tried to find a Donald in the 30s in New York, but came across a handfull and sort of gave up.
What application is there for Past Life regressions. What are the claims of benifits?
I personally think its only benefit is a quest for the truth. Is it real or imagined? We're curious creatures it seems. Or, simply a "that's neat" benefit to pass the time?
That's neat? so entertainment? I knew it it is to entertain a better life then the one that the person is actually screwing up presently. Why not just play a role playing game? How are these people that started this accounting for their high prices, and over priced seminars, they gather people together (some just seeking socialization) to role play.
BloodPrey? A cookie? MMMM *chomp!*
I know I've has a past life. Never had It read though. Sometimes I see things that give my this longing or nostalgic feeling, although its usually things from the early 1900's. Couldnt have been this life.
Well i have heard maney things of this stuff and i beleave it's highly possible we get reborn cause we didn't finish i purpose intime so we live on reborn tell we finally serve out our purpose in life and tho i have little facts to back this shadey theory i still beleave it to be true. well i can say that i have been told in my past life i was a scientist of some sort and that i was able to do oddly great things but then agin i have not a clue what is true cause these days its hard to tell what is a fact and what is a lie so i gues it depends on what you beleave in and if its probable in your eyes or not reallly.
Souls are destine to repeat life until they "get it right"
I have a very gifted friend who lives Hell everyday-already at a young age she is do to repeat life.
It is what it is........
Ive had a reading before. it was done by 3 people at the same time. they did shakra, past, and some other stuff.
i was a soldier on the east coast of Africa, Egyptian guard, prince in england, and a native American twice.
when i was the prince i have a memory of one of my friends.
I would love to know where i can have my past red like that...
How do you apply that to your current life? What application is knowing such things.
seems to be quite costly for these so called past life readings i hear about so much. why spend so much for what might be a tottal hoax and a scam for making money of others coming up with random things your where in the after life tho i might be wrong this is my thoughts on the topic.
Even the application is debated among those that open these clinics.. I think that some actually have non-profit status, yet they claim to be clinical.. hmmm.. should they be held liable for malpractice? What if a "past life" turns out to be a latent alter ego, and the person is dominated by a secondary persona? Should the credentials be checked, how about the place that issues the credentials?
I will note that their are more places advertising to teach past life guides then their are past life readers.
I had a past life reading done about 15 years ago. It was an awakening experience. A lot of the things i was told were mistakes that I was and are still repeating in this life.
I do my own reading's, and I have found that phobias I have in this life where I have no accountable reason why i have those phobias are due to happenings in my past lives.
I do believe in past lives, but I also believe that things happen for a reason. If we were meant to remember we would. There are a few people, young children mostly who remember vividly being some one else at a certain age in a different country or state and give very descriptive details. those few were possibly meant to remember for a reason. Otherwise whether a person is an old soul or a newer soul their past life experiences could distract them from the lessons they are supposed to learn in this one. but that is just a personal belief. I can definately see the draw of wanting to find out who you'd been
I find that past life regression is playing on the same thing that makes Role Playing games popular. The same creative transferrence shows in both. I notice the lack of group interaction, that is present in Role playing games though.
If nothing else its fun way to look at history. You will look into a time period you are from. To find someone ,is word of mouth or a lic. hypnotist who will charge a reasonable flat fee.
Then bring it into a group, so that people can interact within that crafted persona. The clinical isolation is suspect. I can do a role playing campaign for a quarter of the cost of the first five PLR I called, and consulted. The so called free sessions.. I was disappointed in the baiting, as well as the lack of an application summery.
With a time line, and maybe even a genealogy site.. along with a career guidance quiz, you too can be a Past Life Regressionist. I have found plenty of listings (in self help/new age pub.) that teach past life seminars. I will save my money for Role Playing conventions.
I have never had a reading however I haave dreamed of my past lives.
Of coarse you may... It as helped me to learn alot about myself to understand alot aboutwhy i do what i do from time to time, alot of my past lives did not come to me in dreams till after i was awakened some however did come which is what made me chooset the live of a vampyre.
I've never heard of another world persona before either. But I do believe all our past lives are tied together some how as far as the people we meet. IN one life one person may have been your Doctor, in another that same person may have been your bestfriend or lover. All thigns are tied together some how.
I believe in past lives as it has happened to me personally. It was not done via any means other than by talking to a person and they was able to tell me about a dream that I had told no one about. I had the dreams several years ago but when I met this person they were able to tell me right down to the last detail my dream....it is because that person was there too. It was in Scotland around the 1400's.
It was creepy at first but now it is a part of my life that I have accepted.
A lot of times you don't have to go to someone for a past life reading many of your dreams are memories of past life experiences, I also think that dejavu feeling is more linked to a past life moment then just something totally random.
I know that past lives are real. I have a sense of recognition f people that I have NEVER seen or met before. I feel drawn to certain people and I have deja vu a lot.
We also have memories from our pass as well.
Sometimes those memories spill over into our identity, for example, read the Bidey Murphy case posted above.
I have never had a reading. But either I in a previous life, or if not I, then I know what happened to this child, for no apparent reason. Let's go with I was a small 3 year old male child that didn't make it off the Titanic. When I joined the service, I joined the Army. There is no way you can get me on a ship, anywhere on the ocean. The idea freaks me out. And for no acertainable reason, since a very young age, I have been drawn to the Titanic. Not any other ship disaster, or any other type of disaster for that matter. And this all started when at the age 3 (coincidence, maybe), I saw the black and white move, "A Night to Remember". An old movie about the sinking of the Titanic. Since then, I have walked that ship many times, felt the cold on my cheeks, heard people and music, smelled food being prepared.
Kinda weird
No, I have never had a reading. I have read that there has been success with achieving the same goal through hypnosis. Psychiatrists have found links to claustrophobia, for example, in this life is actually a direct result from a trauma in a past life. More often than not, their moment of demise along with few other "milestone" memories.
