i think there is a poll about this, but now you can tell everyone why you chose what you did. what is your favorite vampire movie? old or new? i dont really have a fav. i really like them all.
I've always been a big fan of Near Dark. And coming in at a close second would have to be Interview With A Vampire....
Hard to pick a favorite for me, each movie offers something different about vampires. Among my favorites (in no particular order): Van Helsing, Underworld, Lost Boys, John Carpenter's Vampires, Interview with the Vampire.
Underworld. It's so badass. I've seen it hundreds of times and Kate Beckinsale is hot as hell as Selene. I cant wait till they release the second one.
Near Dark, a vampires kiss, interview with the vampire and club Vampire
I cant really pick one all i can really say is I love them all there are some I like better because of the Music in them suck as Queen of the Damned, Vampires Los muertos and Lost Boys but that is for the sheer musical side that sets them apart for me
oh i forgot about the lost boys god thats a great movie
My favorite vamp movie of all time is one that I have yet to find out the name of ... LMAO .. anyone who was on when i joined in January my remember I had made a thread about it, trying to find out the name ... as of yet I still don't know the name, or exactly when it came out ... it was a movie they showed us at school when i was in 6th grade ... when I can catch Cancer online again i will try to see if I can get a link to that thread .. maybe someone who missed that thread might be able to help me ... trust me, it's not an easy one .. I've had several people that have tried to help me figure it out ... LMAO >;^}
lol, why does alot of girls like him. i dont know if its just that im a dude but he dont look all that good.
Well, I'm always going to be a sucker for Queen of the Damned, hehe...
I would have to say Queen of the Damned. I love the bathtub scene...
I'd probably have to break it down to two favorite Vampire movies. Queen of the Damned for the music, though I was quite disappointed with how far off from the book the storyline was. My other pick would have to be Bram Stoker's Dracula. I really like actor who played Dracula (Gary Oldman) and I liked the main story being told, being damned for forsaking his church after they condemn his beloved after she takes her own life. Then the drive Dracula has for a women who reminds him of his lost love, and of course the moment he finally wishes to be released by her into death.
It's a 3 way tie between The Lost Boys, Underworld, and Queen of the Damned. I just can't one of them!
Interview with the Vampire
Queen of the Damned
Blade I, II, III
...
i think its called eternal darkness its an indie i love indie films
Van Hellsing, Underworld, Queen of the Damned, I wanna see Interview with the Vampire. . . . . And that is all I feel like naming now.
Interveiw With a Vampire, a Classic and one of the Best Vampire Movies ive seen..
Originally, it was interview with a vampire. Now it's Underworld. And has anyone else noticed that the chick in Underworld is rather hot in the movie but if you watch the extras she isn't so... idk tempting?
Well I like them all, but if I had to choose one, it would be Bram Stroker's Dracula or maybe Interview With A Vampire. Oh I don't know. This is hard. So my answer would be All of Them new and old.
i would alos have to say i also liked actually any movie made about vampires from the early 1990's or the late 1980's. i like lots of wierd movies
Interview with the Vampire
And
Lost Boys.
Only thing i didn't like about Lost Boys...
I wish for the song "People are Strange"
was sung by the Doors (as it should have)
and not by Echo and the Bunnymen.
blade trilogy, interview with the vampire, and bordelo of blood, tales from the crypt movie.
Mines is Dracula.. but I am wondering if you had a choice of characters to put into one Vamp movie, who would they be?
Queen of the Damned-
love the bathtub scene and the cast and its so beautifully made, especially at the end when akasha dies, so sad(fan of liyah :))
Interview with the vampire-
inspired me and i love the entire sadness and wonderfully made
Blade trinity-
i like the other ones too, but the last one amazed me. The music caught me too, love the music. its different and have to say better
underworld, queen of the damned, and all the blades. i know, how original
Dark Shadows was always the show I remembered most. I'm sure I watched Dracula plenty of times. Yet the series Dark Shadows got me into the Vampires.
It wasn't even the 1966-1971 version that got me interested. It was the remake of the 1990's, one season, of Dark Shadows. I fell in love with Barnabas Collins, ohh he was hot. Also really loved Angélique Bouchard. She was awesome, I just would stare at her in awe.
Mine's either Blade or Queen of the Damned. They rocked.
queen of the damn was a great movie and an even better book, but thats getting into another thread altogether.
One of my all time favorites is Blade. I haven't yet got the opportunity to check out the sequels as of yet. I also enjoyed Interview with a Vampire.
I would then have to say after Dark Shadows it would have to be.....
Nosferatu, Eine Symphonie Des Garuens.
I love the character, the silent film was awesomeness.
well I don't like the normal way of showing vampires. I more like vampire movies like Interview with the Vampire, Queen of the Damned, and Underworld. don't really have a fav.
mmm Underworld is rather cool too Isent it, But Clasics Rule Supreme... without them...Better Ideas May not have Arived...
Who here agree's with me that Kate Bekinsale's appeal in Underworld is the skin tight PVC suit I dont know if it's just me but WOW she looks gorgeous in it and I have to agree with ritenourgoth why is Brad Pitt so appealing to women of all ages ok so he is absolutely gorgeous and he looks perfect on and off screen but I would rather meet him in person to find out how nice his personality is than fantasise over him because he is hot
mmmm Theyre are lots of Actors who look good , some over others...
thats why they are Actors and are in Hollywood, or how ever its spelt
I would have to say Bram Stoker's Dracula... OMG Wynona Ryder Vv~~vV , followed closely by Van Helsing, All the Blades, and Underworld
Honestly, I haven't seen many, but I do have Underworld...and I really like that one. Tis a great movie. ^_^
I love Lost boys, but i don't know, Queen of the Damned was a good movie as well. One of the two is my favorite but i can't pick.
my favs are, interview with a vampire, lost boys, forsaken, queen of the damned. and of course the original Dracula.

I really enjoyed Interview with a Vampire...and Queen of the Damned was good also, but I think any movie that combines Brad Pitt AND Tom Cruise as vampires is awesome. They're so sexy. I like seductive vampires, anyway...they're just like me.... ; )
some good old fashion dracula movie :). I vant your blood. lol they are so cute and entertaining then comes the blade series cuz i love marvel so much. :)
I love all the Blade movies, and Underworld was pretty awsome in itself, but there was this one certain movie... I can't remember the name of it... I've been searching forever and still can't find it out. I remember at the end, the vampires won. It was so awsome... I wish I knew what it was!!!
it sound formiliar but i cant put my finger on it sorry i cant help.
i like most all the current, but i would have to say queen of the damned, disappointed me due to the fact that it did not follow book

I really enjoyed Interview with a Vampire and Underworld...anyone remember the old Ruffles potato chip commercial with the chick who faints when the vampire comes in the room, then he took the chips instead of biting her? yeah i laughed my ass off at that one...lol
My favorite one even though its chessy is Dracula Dead and loving it with Lesile Nelson
i really cant wait till the second "underworld" movie comes out. thats gonna be good.

i love all of them but my favorite of them all...would have to be.....interview with the vampire..and queen of the damned!!!!!! those are cooler to me then any thing....lol
I have to just agree with lost of people here, all movies listed as others favs are mine too! I do have to admit, whilst folding laundry, I tend to watch Underworld. It could be that's my excuse to watch it on a bi weekly basis! It makes laundry tolerable!( ewww I so
und boring)
well there is a lot of vampire movies and at this time my favorite movie is dracula 2000.
Queen of the Damned and Interview with a Vampire, I am a huge Anne Rice fan. I know Queen of the Damned was nothing like the book, but it was nummy anyways.
I did like the Blade Movies, not because they were "vamp" movies because they were something a bit different.
