I enjoy talking and making new friends. I have met some on here that I have become good friends with and hope that we can remain friends for a long time.

Laughing at people who think vampires are real/that they're vampires.

Ahhh the Drama and how some members get so mad at others....so funny!!!

What I like about VR...

Meeting new people, chatting with new people, my Mad House... ;)
Being able to be myself and not really caring what anybody thinks...

Finally being able to be myself. I like meeting new people. The drama can be quite terrible, but the hearts of others is priceless. I am proud to have found a family here and enjoy their company. I, also, like that I have found others that share my interests. They may not ever read my stories, but boy, are they a hoot.

I like perusing the database, the interesting topics in the main forum, and reading journals.

Well the list is long so I'm going to say my Kismet, my journal, and not joining but watching the drama!!!!!! It's funny when it happens to other people, just not me.

When I try to play the games they log me out of VR :'(
I do not know why.
I do like that even when I stay away for months at a time, VR is still here.

Laughing along with friends. The chat feature is what caught my eye when I joined.

coding and some special people (no they do not take the special bus, well some do but its ok I drive it)

the fact that I can be on vr and enjoy, hate or simply zombify my brain and then once unplug from it then I have to go to reality where its boring and cable cost a fortune view drama chanels, while on vr its free via the journals (drama, horror, comedy and more and more)

I like that fact that I am left alone on this site. I can be online for the vast majority of a day and not receive a single message.

I love the society system.

All the great friends I have made here and several I have met in person which in turn has enabled me to visit places I have never been before.

The information I have culled concerning the paranormal, vampires and so on...others experiences.

The Database, where I have found some great new books and authors to read.

My Coven, my members are not just members but friends and they are wonderful :D

Interesting you would say that.
When my son was 13 he was bullied and had no friends or social life. He had wanted a myspace but I would not let him have one especially if he didn't have friends. I already had a profile here so I helped him set one up for himself.
It kept him busy until he actually made friends.

I like looking at the different profiles and seeing
what people can come up with, and also read
about a person, their likes and dislikes, just
general stuff. I try to read a majority of the
profile, but if too long, I skip some things.

Meeting new people

i like that i have made some new friends on here.. a few that i actually talk to outside of vr

I love rating things in the database, I can do that for hours on end. Of course the people are so awesome and helpful as well.

- When I am not well it gives me the opportunity to socialise from bed.
- I don't have a FB account. Not that I have massive "secrets", but I like the fact that I can have some kind of anonymity on here...if I choose to.
- I don't think the content of journal entries is indexed by search engines. *I could be completely wrong about this* If I delete a journal entry, for whatever reason, I like the idea that it is really gone...and someone is going to come across archived crap I wish I had never posted. **as I said I could be VERY wrong about this**
- I am a little too serious in real-life. VR is kind of like the equivalent of two standards drinks for me!
- I love reading through the database and members articles.

What's NOT to love about VR? :)

Everything is public domain. If a person knows what to look for they can find it. Just because there is no tag does not mean there are no key words.
As far as being anonymous, you could be right.

I like the High School feel I get from VR.

I like the tid bits of info picked up that I've thought about on and off for years. Some people are very well read it's nice to pick up the info left behind.

Wow,Moonkissed,I am seriously humbled by your post.Thank you. I can honestly say the same about you.And others I have become friends with beyond these halls.
Also,many other reasons that everyone else has posted holds true for me too.I like the look of the place,the admin is fair ,and its just a good site overall.I also like the different components,like the scifi section and all that.It allows us to be creative,and really,there arent very many restrictions.And that in itself really allows us freedom of expression.

And Cancer is cool too.

In my book,its tough to beat.I guess I could even say it is my favorite website to hang out on.

Cancer seems alright. He types really fast.
I understand his journal is funny at times.

The sharing of minds in forums even if others don't agree. There's a way to be polite and a way of being rude. Some people have yet to master it.

So all in all, the social aspect and the information people share with each other be it useful or not.

What I like about VR is what I have read here about the hope to find a real friend.

I suppose meeting new people and talking to old friends as well.

The journals. And good conversation.

The friends I've made and some that I've met in real life. Those friendships that I know are to come.

And I hate to admit it but the drama. I don't have cable at the moment so VR is my soap opera and entertainment. =]

I enjoy V.R for the same reasons as most here. I enjoy meeting different people from all walks of life with differing viewpoints, I enjoy sharing knowledge about most subjects you wouldn't even normally hear about, I love having debates with random people about obscure subjects lol and best of all I adore the friends I have made her on V.R such as Angelus, Dark Assassin, etc:)

There is alot about VR I love and some things I like.

1 The people who have helped through so much and gone the extra mile and didn't have to.

In addition to all the other things people have already mentioned, I love stumbling onto those new profiles where the person writes something along the lines of "oh my god, I'm not alone!". It always reminds me of when I first landed here when I really needed a place like this.

Everything, really. Sure it gets under my skin, but when I'm frustrated with the site, it's usually with members that I can block and ignore. I just like the site overall.

what do i like about V.R?

well that's a good question,I have to say that there is some good information on here..but then I've met some awesome people..there are a few that I'm really close to, and they know who they are...but this site has been fun for me..some awesome people...and as i said good information...screw the rating and what not..I thirst for Information....and i get that here.

The Database! This is the only site I know that has such a huge collection of vampire-related items! The fact that you can bring your contribution to it is awesome!

The friendly design of the site makes it easy to access.

Because pf the number of the societies and the features that are so diverse you are never bored here, there is always something you can do. The society system is also unique and attractive.

The rating system offers you the opportunity to know new interesting members that have the same tastes as you have or new interesting ones, so making friends is much more interesting here then on other social sites.

The games are nice and I still dream that one day Cancer will follow his dream of creating a new vampire RPG-action game! It would be a major add to this site! What he had in mind was a little too complex but I hope it can be done one day.

The present admins are serious and kind and their efforts of keeping the site clean and safe is appreciated!

I like the difference between the others social network, like FB or My space. The intellectuality of Some of the members are cool. Where can you find a subject about Death and keep a thread open with a discussion about the subject: VR

I like the journals and people here. Being able to write something and not have to worry about being judged or if I say something where someone gets mad that I'm pointing fingers at them. And if I really want an opinion on something then it isn't too hard to find someone who is willing to read what I have to say and give me a few comments. Its nice.

That there are actually intelligent examples of the species here.

For me it would have to be the friend i have made and over the last 6 years.. and the new ones i hope to still make..I also like to read the profiles and journals..its a great way to get to know people.

I like pretty much everything about it. The people, the friends, the atmosphere, the covens. One of my favorite websites ever.

I enjoy the fact that there is so much information to gather. From the truth of others and experience. That there is such a diversity of people to ask questions and gain knowledge from. I am interested to learn so many things from those who are on this site.

Another thing I like about VR is that we can go live real life,even if it is for an extended period of time.We can get online and know that VR will be waiting for us! It is constantly changing,with new features and spaces,so I know that Cancer is totally dedicated and enjoys making the site better.When someone loves what they do,they tend to put all their skills into it.
You can actually make good contacts here too,that can extend into the real world.

well i love everything about vr but the things i love most is meeting new people, the mentorships and the coven set up.

but the main thing is on vr you can meet many wonderful people who have a vast array of knowledge and in fa t since rejoining i have learnt many things about vampires i didn't know.
