How many have tried to cast a spell and it came back to bite you after it worked

I dont know any spells but I would like to learn more about them and the subject that they present.
I know of few who have used spells and back fired about 3 people i know have had spells backfire on them.

Fortunately I have never had one backfire on me.

I don't do 'spells' per se, but rituals. I think in essence the results are the same.

I did have one backfire because I wasn't specific!

I think a spell can only "Backfire" if one is non-specific and has negative intentions save offsets...

Plus how can one know if it was a spell casting that rendered them a "backfiring"?

i beileve a spell can "backfire olny if your intention is to harm. multiply by 3,and harm to none.

I haven't had any backfire on me before. Like has already been said, that would probably only happen if the person lacked specificity and/or had ill intent.

I have done few spells but the ones I have done did very well . Of course they were simple in nature as I am yet a novice

I have tried a few spells in my day but I have moved beyond it.. perhaps since they did not work or my belief structure has morphed since then.

They say..if you do somthing to someone..like spells or curses..they will come back 9 times over..and to every life you lived an extra 1 times to 9.Or it can be used the other way arround.Never back fired on me.I always make shure..that the person deserves all they get.

I have never done this nor would i want to.. when i was younger and just reading spells.. i thought about trying it.. but changed my mind as i read on... I know of someone who has had a spell backfire on them...

I've really only had my prayers or healings attract daemons, but they only really put me in a bad mood, or interfere with my work. Nothing terrible. They go away after a while, or they usually leave after a wild sageing or a purification of sorts.

Whatever energies you send out will come back x3.

i did a love spell to get my x to notice me and it worked but 4 months later he left me again.

i've tried a few but they were very basic...only one has backfired so far

There is no "backfire" to a spell, only the consequences of putting your will and intent into action. Take the action of sending out your intent and there are consequences, just like with everything else. If you ask for chocolate and get a hersey's kiss instead of a toblerone, well you weren't specific enough. Same sort of scenario applies.

Backfire to me is more somehting that is not expected. The only out come i have had that was not what I desired was due to my lack of clearness. I worded the spell in a way that I knew what I meant.. but it was not exctally what I said. So I got what I said.. not exctally what I wanted lol. But it did teach me to slow down.. rethink a word here or there and to really pay attention and make sure what I was asking for is truely what I want

I have done spells twice and both times, they worked and all too well...

Goddess has a sense of humor and I learned my lesson after the 2nd time. That was in 1999, so it's been 8 years since I've done a spell.

Neither spell was meant to harm anyone, but as they say, "Be careful what you ask for, becaue you just might get it."

I have had one come back on me and it was one i should of never had done... but at that time I was still learning and didnt know theres some spells you shouldnt do! I now know and will never do it again!

I think a spell can backfire if you use it for the wrong reasons. Jealousy, vanity, envy, ect.

Never happened to me but I've never done a spell that is able to turn aganist me.

I don't use spells all that often but when I have I've made sure they were of good intent and honoring "harm none". I've had no problems from them. But I agree with Jenova that there are always consquences.

As long as you don't use them to hurt someone you have nothing to worry about

never-- if your strong enough-nothing can come back to hurt you .

I think that when a spell is used for personal gain it can backfire.

as long as the spell is used to enhance your own life its ok.but if you use one to harm someone else.what you unleash will come back at you.

If it " Backfired " I really don't like that term either. Its what the itent is you must be specific on what you are asking and gow you are asking for it.. And yes as others have said what you put forth comes back 3 fold. As per love spells and such many of us that have been around for a while thinks thats nonsense why would you want to take away some one elses will power that is what a " love spell " is. Some even consider it spiritual rape. I have done " some " spell work in my day and ya some have worked while others i didnt think worked but its is also not instant graditifoication it will come with time.,,, Just adding my two cents !

I've never cast a spell that came back and bit me and I cast a few.

I cast a love spell, it was through candle magis. The person became so obcessed with me, so inseperable, then possesive. It turned real ugly after that and I have many emotional and financial scares. I beg people to allow nature to take it's course on love.

personally try to stay away from casting spells...

well does anyone know how to reverse a love spell, it was a mistake I was tring to help someone and shouldnt.

i have made 1 spell like 3 years ago but it never worked i dont know what had happend to it or what it went to but i know this it has never came back to get me...... for those wondering of the spell i am talking about it is helping a loved one out of a syndrome that i have as well.

I made many spells and curses, but so fare only 3 came back hiting or bititng me hard. One cost me my brother having an accident, another my daughter having an accident and the last my other daughter having an accident (got 2 girl and a 1 boy lol)

I personally haven't allowed myself to cast any spells, at least not on my own, due to personal issues I have with myself. I just don't trust myself from doing something extremely stupid. But, what I have done with my Coven have all gone well enough. As stated before, you have to be very specific with what you are asking to be done. If not, things can go very wrong for all parties involved.

i had someone cast a spell on someone to make them fall in love with me.

i didnt think it would work, but it did. and her parents were psyco jesus freaks.

When I was little, I trie to put a potion in amy cousins' drink. O course, shewitched them last minute andI had diarrhea for teo days (My potionwas chocloate milk ex lax, duh) lol

is there a spell to make someone do what they know is the right thing? but they won't because of hate?

Hmm I cast a friendship spell once for a friend of mine when she begged me to cast one on her husband ( She is paraniod that her husband hates her but that's her problem ) even though I knew I shouldn't I did it for her. Then her marriage fell apart she blamed me and my spell and our friendship fell apart. It was all very sad and uncalled for!

LOLBilly.. y'know I have tried a few "spells" when I was teenager but all they bloody well brought me was the fun in making them up. My friends and I would sit around for hours having fun with this!

Well I personally do not do spells or dabble with magic. I practice more of a spiritual native beliefs. I have seen with others whom I am close with have things back fire for them. I have also seen people dabble in things that they had no business getting involved with due to there inexperienced.

I find that manifestation of one's will is far more efficient.

One time really burnt on a spell, it turned terribly bad. I have decided I don't want that to happen again. So I am very careful in my spellwork, but rarely do it.

Everything has an equal and opposite reaction, just as dropping a bowling ball will leave a dent in the ground. But done carefully, and the same action can hit 10 pins down.

And while we dislike the fact that in our first attempts we made a huge dent in the bowling alley's floor, the pins, i think, liked it very much. And when we knocked them all down, that was the same matter of opinion.

I do not believe in the three fold law, and I have never had a spell backfire. I have dealt with some negative side affects, but they weren't really a reaction.

I am looking for a spell or potion to help boost my immune system, ever since i have been loosing a lot of weight my immune system has not been up to par. And i am eating a lot of meat and veggies and all that.

I can gladly say that I have none backfire on me yet, but i am also careful in wich i cast and try to be sure I do not have one that can come come back and get me.

If you don't mean to harm anyone with your spell, it shouldn't try and bite you back. I've never had any backfire till today but when playing with such energy, you always should becareful and make sure your motives are pure while performing a spell.

I was tried a spell, but it turned out it was written with not quite the right wording...

I ended up hurting a friend of mine because I was jelious of what she had. Instead of getting some of the "luck" myself she lost hers... things went bad;

could have been chance, but I've always felt guilty.

ive never really had one to back fire on me....ive had some to come differently than i anticipated....maybe it was because i did not do it all correctly.

if this has happened to you then the spell was too difficult for you. no spell is supposed to bite you back, you're supposed to have experience. you have to try the easiest spells first. might i suggest white magic, those are the only ones that won't bite you.

I have not cast a spell that backfired, thankfully, but I did make a potion wrong and ended up with my head in the toilet for two days. It turned out I have misread one of the ingredients.

I have only cast 1 spell that was a combination binding and keep away spell. It worked great.

I have cast a few spells and so far none of them came back to bite in the bum....lol

I have only had 1 backfire on me but that was because it was a curse of the Damned spell, but I have moved beyond spell casting at the moment and moved on to potion making.

Harm None is the first rule. Anything you do comes back to you threefold. Never do for your own selfish gain. I have never had one to come back and bite me, but they can go terribly wrong if you don't be careful with what you are doing.

yes, you should only do harm spells if the person it's being cast on has done harm to you first

um ya'll need to stop watching tv. first of all there was never a harm to none rule, they were smart enough to know about karma,that rule was made back in the 60's to help the unknowing. and as foe self gain..where in the world does it say you cant cast prosperity for yourself. The gods dnt want us poor and struggling..geeze..do real research..

well when I cast the spell it was more a potion they both drank it and he didnt know what it was and anyways he fell for me and its been a nitemare now for six years and she took off with my boyfriend. it was a rose tea from roses I grew myself, of course I loved the roses dearly so I figured it would help in her quest. but I feel it backfired on me . I have been looking at some spells and potion due to the stress has dimenished my health and I fell in love with his kids too. anyways I will keeep looking for a positive solution.

ive had love spells go wrong over n over again, and even tho i was nt bending anyones will i think its the whole belief of be careful wot you wish for thing coming back to bite you ,well where it hurts

I've tried a healing spell for someone close to me but it didnt work very well....I ended up with a locked shoulder & had to get it pulled back....not very nice!!!

But i've tried a money spell & that worked...well sort of...i found a £5 outside my house!

The 3 fold law comes to mind.. Whatever you put out there comes back to you in 3 fold.. Never tampered with that....I just allow karma to do it's magic....

Most of my spells are on spiritual work, or protection spells....

u need to prepare before u cast. add a nonreversal portion to your wording. and dont do something stupid like a revenge spell

Well if you don’t know how to shoot a gun and you do it might hurt your arm, same with magic don’t play with fire you might get burnt on a stake lol
I don’t believe in 3 fold it’s just a students misguided comment from not listening to the golden dawn class … love spells … you get to have love but it don’t last so in the end nature takes it’s path …. That isn’t a back fire that’s misinformed teaching.
