Can magic contribute to sexuality?


I have wondered when other people work any kind magic can it simulate you emotionally or your sexuality power go into 10 fold? if please explain.


note im not asking about sex,, but your inner sexualty, to helps a person be bold flerity, relaxed so on and so forth

i think so yes,, when i practice magic such as terro i become more passionate about things, and more domanite towards others, i also get that way when i work with my plants as well

There are lots of ways that magic can contribute to sexuality. Spells that are used to ensnare a lover many times will affect the sexual desire of the partner. This many times is the main thing that gets ensnared in a 'love spell'.

Yes, magic can enhance your sexual prowess when practicing, but depends on the magic and what you are doing. Can also slow it or stop it all together depending on amount of energy expended in the practice; allowing the energy to gain strength again and renew itself.

The mind can be and is changed with sight and sound, it is not something we can always control...

I think this theory would be considered sex magic...Embracing energies with those of your love, and channeling both into one cycle. The mind always has something to do with it, but it is belief that the energies will work...As well as the stimulae given to the creation of both the magic and the act.

I have seen that practicing what I do.. allows me to become more aware of myself. This aids in boosting my sexuality in the end.

Magic most definitely enhances your sexuality; it seems that most who practice magic already have a more outgoing approach to things, which helps heighten your senses and emotions, sexuality included

I feel that it can, because some people do practice sex magick. Which in my eyes sex magick is the most powerful magick that their is.......Sex magick is very sacred and should not be done for just any purpose.

Absolutely yes I believe magick contributes to your sexuality! Every time you practice any sort of magick you're drawing and focusing energy. How you choose to utilize that energy is entirely up to you.. but sensation is heightened regardless of your intention. Meditation and self awareness also boosts your confidence and can indeed make you feel more sensual, sexual, attractive, etc...

YES! I mean normally once you start using magic your self confidence goes up, you hook in with everyones energy better, and you realize the very need of sexuality and the goddess and god.

I'm not sure if magic has anything to do with it, but I believe that unless partners can connect emotionally, then anything they choose to do is without feeling; a pitiful rendition of a ritual that is meant to take place between two spiritually and emotionally connected individuals.

I agree with you Wolf.. the greater part of magick as well as sexuality is mental. While there may be science to manipulation of energy, it almost doesn't matter. What matters is how strong your belief is that it will work.

I think that if you belive that the majic can work or your partner does...then mentaly you have elavated your sexual experiance.

very well put sanguinarybloodlust, there are spells that can help intensify that sexual urge , there are also spells that , have different meanings or different abilities during a sex rite(sexual ritual), you must first find out what it is that your wanting to achieve, once you figure that out, then have the belief and the proper mind setting then all the rest falls into place.

Absolutely a resounding yes to this one! Magic is energy, so is sexuality. One often enhances the other, as they're both affected by an emotional connection to the thing (whether it be a spiritual need, a want, or another person, I'm just using the word "thing" because I don't want to explain this every time) that you desire.

Yes it can. As it has been mentioned before Tantric is the best way to go about it.

Tantric is based mostly around drawing the sun and moon down to help you. The acts of doing such can help you learn to relax and focus on things better. The way you have to breathe also contributes to this.

I think that anything you believe in can help with sexuality. If magic is something that you believe strongly in sure it might help in a lot of ways. It’s when you don’t believe in or even have feelings for anything that stuff gets boring and mundane.

I know a girl who practiced magic and that would happen to her many times when she would practice black magic, the dark arts, but normally if you are practicing white magic it wouldn't make sence for sexual energy to emerge to where you would become passionate "wanting to do more then the magical task" i've never heard of that before but because dark magic can overtake you using every bit of energy you hold with in your body the tendency is strong!

Unless I know more about this subject I can only say that anything that you adhere to and practice would emotionally stimulate certain senses.

I believe it depends highly on the intention of the magic. All magic serves a purpose, so I believe it would stem from the intention. If you're doing magic that involves something to do with passion or the sort, you may become more passionate. If magic you are using is to help create some kind of control you may feel dominant in other aspects of your life, especially towards people in general.

Well certainly if music or movies or even a conversation can contribute to sexual levels of passion, then a ritual or focus of one's personal energy could be even moreso.

On a metaphysical level, I'd look at it like this, most of us spend a great deal of our time in an emotional drift without much focus as we go about our day. Any kind of strong harnessing and use of energy would feel empowering and verile. If one's thoughts were to turn to sex at that point, it would be quite potent, just as if one's thoughts were to turn to life direction or meditation it would be powerful feelings on those things.

Yoga is a good example of how focus and meditation can leave one feeling strong, vibrant and verile. Feeling energized/focused and having strong sexual passion are very closely related.

I would say yes it can contribute. Why not? Almost every other emotion and feeling there is like love, anger, and sadness all feed during magic..why not sex and lust?

i absolutely believe that magic can contribute to sexuality. the "high" u get when practicing magic is like the "high" you get from sex. when i perform magic and have sex afterwards it is a more intense sex.

Combining any two poweful things makes something even more powerful.

I think if something brings out the passion you hold inside then of course it can enhance any aspect of your life that is involved or present at the time.

I always try to put as much of myself as possible into the magick that I perform. It does normally make me more intune with my emotions when doing such.
