I am curious as to how many here have actually seen UFOs? That is, unidentifed flying objects....

I have seen what I consider to be UFOs, aliens, whatever. I have the story in my profile, about seeing them zip back and forth across the sky, as if playing tag, and then zooming back out into the universe in an instant.

Anybody see anything like that? Pictures?

Aside from the unexplainable lights in the sky that I see rather often...I don't think I have ever seen anything that I truly believed was a UFO. I believe that there is intelligent life out there, I just don't think I have personally seen much to speak of.

I used to go back & forth every week to California with my ex who was a truck driver. And a few times while we were in Arizona we thought we saw something. But, it came & went so quickly that it was really hard to tell exactly what it was,

I don't have pictures but as a teen I use to do stargazing... had a high powered telescope... and there were many quiet nights where you suddenly observe a strange light zipping around doing things that can't be a meteor.

But the only aliens I have seen are in the movies.

I have seen it twice. The first time I was about 5 and at my grandparents house. I was standing outside with my uncle and we say the spaceship up in the sky. The second time was when i was about 20 and a group of us were coming home from the beach and saw several of them in the sky

I did a few years ago. I was at my dads house and we went to watch the meteor shower. We saw all kinds of them. They would follow the same path as the meteors then change direction. Or they would go against the meteors.

I have seen things may consider it ufo's, yet to far off to really tell lights overhead flashing and than gone, yet i am still waiting to them to show themselves.

I saw something weird when I lived in Albuquerque. I worked the midnight shift and was outside...I saw this purple/blueish light in the sky. At first I thought it was...well, I really didn't know what it was. I WANTED to believe it was a star.

Then it moved. It just kinda "zipped" across the sky to another spot and hovered. It did that two more times before "zipping" away into nothingness.

I just sat there feeling that "what the living hell was that" feeling when my coworker came up and said I looked pale and asked what was wrong.

I reluctantly told him what I saw.

He replied.."Oh...that was a UFO. You'll see them a lot out here. Get used to it."

I still don't know what it was. I don't really accept the UFO theory, but who knows.

I haven't seen one up close but like many, plenty of times a small light in the sky moving too fast for it to be a plane.

I'd love to see a real UFO up close though.

I've always believed in the paranormal and UFOs.

I have see one I was visiting my grandparents in Arizona.

Seeing that 75% of Arizonia is a proving ground for most branches of the military. I'd guess that probably 99% of anything out there is them playing with the next waste of the tax payers $$$$.

I never saw any UFO, and think that it would be a spectacular experience.

It would keep me thinking as well, is it really an UFO, and UFO manuevered by alien life forms, or are those flying saucers actually those UFOs wich nazis were designing back then.

I question these UFOs of today, since there is a strong rumor of history, that those were designed here from the Earth by human scientist.

Are you willing to pay someone 1000 dollars/750 pound for a vacation to see a UFO?

My sister, mom and I saw something once. We used to live out in the middle of no where next to a farm. One night I heard my mom yelling for my sister to get a camer so I got up and found them outside. There across the field was our only neighbors barn and hovering around it was something... It was round, huge and had lights, but I don't know for sure what it was. My mom and sister believe it was a ufo, but none of us really know. My sister couldn't get the camera in time because it disappeared in only a couple minutes.

I saw 2 UFO's of similar design in Blue Springs, MO a few months ago after a brutal lightning storm. They were hovering in place for about 15 minutes. One of them slowly flew away while the other remained for a few more moments. This one headed in my direction. I got a good look at it before it entered a cloud. It was a kind of chrome color and was shaped like a chevron. It had a few subtle lights but nothing too bright. I might've thought it was some kind of plane if it wasn't for the hovering in place for so long and the fact that it didn't make a sound. A few friends saw it as well and there were similar reports that night from all over the city.

First let me point out that I am afraid of few things, but I am TERRIFIED OF ALIENS. I reckon I saw a UFO once, well, it was a flying object which I could not identify. Therefore a UFO. A light which squiggled across the sky before going up and up out of sight. Not very impressive but nevertheless mysterious.

I've seen afew in my life time.. I think they're mezmerizing for only seeing them briefly..

I've seen 2 UFO's both of which I have been able to discover what they were.

1.) was a rare space shuttle night landing (viewed foom a nonlightpoluted Island) in 2001

2.) was a booby bird doing acrobatics with it's belly reflected in an odd way by the palmtree spotlights.

close to mesa on the way to winslow there are three lights that appear out of nowhere and form into a triangle, then dissapear without a trace, dunno why, planes fly pretty close to the spot after an hour or so.

I personally have never seen anything that I would consider to be a UFO, but I do strongly believe that it would be extremely stupid of us to believe that we are the only ones and that we are alone..I mean come on all those plants and other galaxy's, I just have a hard time believe that they are empty.

i dont believe in UFO's yet i had an exp when watching a metior shower one zipped wildly across the sky and was a strange color i once even thought i saw a gray standing in my room and i had a memory lapse so i got no clue if we are visited or alone

I've seen a few things that make me wonder, but nothing that I can't easily push off as a reflected light from another source.
With most, my logical side pushes the weird stuff off as this or that.
Although I do wonder a bit about it, at least for a bit. lol

I live next to a power plant near the water. Occasionally you will see UFO's hovering around the power plant. There has also been a birdlike creature that came up from the water and went towards the plant. All the neighbors saw it plus the TV and newspaper reporters were there to document it.

Wow, there are some really neat stories and accounts here! Isn't it cool that we have seen so many neat things? I wish to see more.

i could of swore i saw some one night. it was cloudy out and i was driving down the interstate. I looked up and saw three circles of light like behind the cloud just going by. might have been someone with the spot light things too

I have never seen an actual UFO, but I have seen something that looked like it over the local forrest. It turned out that it was just a swam of insects that lit up due to the statics in the air that night. It was just before a great thunderstorm. I hope someday I will get to see a real one.

I have seen many things in the sky moving that can not really be classified, I grew up in a small town in the middle of no where. I remember one object above the rest though due to it left almost a rainbow of color as it flew across the sky, it was a magnificant sight, and many of us saw it, but never really though too much about what it was.

I seen some strange things come out of the mountains in nevada, but not sure if that was ufo or military... hard to say but last I checked we didn't have aircrafts that defy physics....

I hear and read so many craft stories I would question most of them, sadly I imagine that if ever an actual Alien Craft does appear that nobody will give it a second thought.. blame that on overactive imaginations maxing out the data bases for UfO reports, same thing goes for ghost, and Big foot. If the community was smart they would weed their own ranks.

I have noticed that most of the people that get credit for spotting supposed craft are then considered enlightened by the experiance and others flock around them, hoping to be considered enlighted and open minded as well, When they start passing out the Purple blanks and Nikes I suggest you reconsider your beliefs..

The ones I saw were in the middle of nowhere, inbetween Wichita and Independence, Kansas, on a warm night. It made quite an impression on me. I was quite young when I saw them.

My brother saw something one night that resembled a disk in the sky and seemed to move in sparatic ways, it actually terrified him, and he could not explain what it was, but was convinced it was not normal.

All I have ever seen is a bright star in the sky, I wasn't sure if it was a star or satellite. When it suddenly shifted, change colour and moved in the reverse direction... then suddenly and rapidly went the other direction and vanished.

Once when I was on a flight between San Jose and Austin, somewhere over the big desert (NV, AZ, NM, WEST TX) the pilot came over the intercom and said that it was possible to see a strange orange light that other aircraft had been reporting out the left side of the plane. Naturally, I was on the right side of the plane next to the window.

Once when I was very young, I thought that I saw one, but personally I contribute it to me being a child with an overactive imagination. I don't always need proof to believe something, but with aliens, I think that I would.

i think i seen one a few years ago,it was in the shape of a triangle and had 3 lights on it,it just hovered over the trailer and me and my friends didnt hear a sound from it,we dont really know if it was a ufo,but it looked wierd lol

I think that now that we have cell phones with cameras we should be able to request claims of sightings show more camera captured unidentified objects in the sky, and It would only follow that to request more then one angle as well. Testimony of sightings is just that testimony of spotting an object in the sky(or what appears to be an object in the sky.) So I have seen some objects in the sky that where a mystery, after investigation by local officials and private property owners. It was found to be a a H.A.L.O. Operation. but I will admit it was a cool thing to imagine it was something else for a moment, with all the other creative people that took pictures and speculated on possibilities, both fringe and practical.

well i personally hae not seen any U.F.O's though but heard it and saw it on tv news and on history channel once they even showed the video of an UFO which someone had taken down on his camera .it was quite amazing to see the satellite like thing .

Yes, I have I was walking one night a few years ago and I saw this blur that streaked very fast across the sky and then it flashed a a brillant green, then it was gone.

I've seen lights, I mean weird lights = UFO's cause I couldn't sum then up as anything I recognized alien or not doesn't matter...

I'll throw a point at the Roswell crash 1947, well from what I read...thats quite extensively...135 witnesses at least..most of them officers?.. well I'd say it happened... bodies included... not saying anything more cause I can't tell, not enough data.. I dont' know if they were Aliens, Nazi or Aborigines at this point very few can I guess..same goes with the craft.. oh project Mogul!? 50 years didn't teach them anything!?

It was on our local news the other day that ufo and alliens were spotted and the coverage was shown on the news.

ive seen lights in the sky who hasnt even if i you have seen a ufo most wouldnt even know it. stragne how almost all ufo sightings are at night or of blury objects.
I do tho belive there is intelligent life out there but i realy doubt it has visited our planted.

i have seen something that looks like one a few years ago,it had 3 lights on it in the shape of a triangle and it was just sitting above the trailer,it didnt move at all for about 10 mins then it disappeared,i never seen it again

Since a UFO stands for an "Unidentified Flying Object" I would have to say yes! LOL There are many things in the sky That I have seen and have not been able to identify at the time or if ever...but if it were an "alien sighting" idk about that one!

I do not know if what I saw would be considered a UFO.. But I have seen different lights in the sky that could not be explained to me or anyone else.

Now like somaney befor me i have seen but mere glimpses that may have been ufo's. From what i have observed i have come to find that these are infact real but the hard question in stone ramains can any of us really get the proff we need with out the government getting into the matter as shown on tv and varyious documents the government finds ways to cover it all up so with a strong back bone like that conflicting what we both seen and know its a question of when the truth can be proven.

theres a contriversy going on right now about an alien that was caught on camera looking into a mans house.. He saw lights at first, like bright flashes, and then the being appeared.. Factor fiction though.. nobody really knows at times like those..

I used to live in the city ( Toronto) and was sitting on my balcony when a disk shaped thing that was all glowing light hovered over the building across the road then darted over to the building right infront of where I was sitting and back to the first building and then shot off into the sky. That is my only encounter with what I would have called a ufo

i was at an alien themed burlesque show that had some UFO's. i saw them with my own eyes. by UFO's i mean pasties and by saw i really meant ogled

The one that sticks in my head I saw about 4 years ago. I was with a friend and we were driving to my country home at around 10pm. The sky was very clear and we had a nice bright moon.

On the road I had the feeling that something was strange, not quite right. As we drove up a small hill I saw several lights flash over the car, unsure that I had seen something I kept driving. About 200m down the road we both saw the lights hoovering above the post office.

I pulled the car into the parking lot almost directly under these light, which were no more than 150' above us. There were 5 lights in a configuration similar to that of a B-2 bomber.

I got out of the car (because I'm like that) and started walking towards this object. You couldn't see the stars behind the thing so I thought it was solid. I had a small flashlight in hand, turned it on but before it hit the object the 5 lights split off and raced in different directions then disappeared. By my calcultions they moved off at a speed greater than 500mph, totally without sound.

Since my life is one of "those" I chalked it up to just another experience, although a rather interesting one.

I haven't got pictures to confirm this, but when I was a flight attendant we were atonished to see a unidentified object at approimately 41,000 feet . It dissapeared quite quickly before we could get a photograph taken!

Saw an amazing meteor shower one night... Had I not known we were rolling through an asteroid belt I'd swear alot of the lights in the sky would approximate UFOs to me.
I've always wanted to witness an actual extraterrestrial craft...

i have, it was at night and i don't know if it was an airplane or what, but i know it wasn't and "alien" spacecraft

Hot air balloons are commonly misperceived as ufo, the discription goes some what like this.. It was orange-ish cigar shaped and it appeared for a bit and then disappeared.. another one appeared behind it.. they drifted off into the sky.. hot air balloons fly in formation.. they stoke in short burst of the burner and then soar.. sometimes they hover to gain bearing..

I lived in Albuquerque, New Mexico and we had hot air balloons all over the place. Also we had weird lights appear overhead quite frequently.

There was an Air Force base there, but some of the lights moved about too quickly to be any kind of aircraft that I have heard of.

What I have seen could very well be aircraft tests being conducted by the government. Most definitely not my imagination.

In Alabama there is a town called Fyffe that has made national news with reports of UFO sightings. It's become somewhat of a tourist trap for UFO enthusiasts.

I have yet to see one, but my father said he saw one when he was a kid. It hovered above his group of friends and then took off. It was a disc in shape is all he remembers of it.

I keep hearing the weather balloon answers to the UFO question. I never see them during the day. How can balloons fly in formation? They go where the wind takes them. I am a bit confused about how that could work. Why don't we ever see all these balloons in the day, since there should be so many of them flying around. Why don't the UFO discs, etc. that are in day pics look like weather balloons then?

i have seen something like that...i was walking to school one day and i was passing this construction area...no one was ther at all but i looked up at the ske and saw what looked to be a UFO..it stayed there for maybe 2 minutes then flew away into the universe

Aliens, I'm sure, have never landed or come close to earth.

I'm pretty sure when i was younger that i saw one.. We were out jumping on a trampoline and stared watching this thing go back and forth back and forth and just hang there.. It was wierd as shit. Still to this day don't know what it was..

a friend and i were sitting out on the porch in the dark when a very bright light suddenly appeared near some trees and streaked towards the ground.
we both said 'what was that?'

I must say that many years ago my cousin and I where going out. We had been at the footy and got dressed at mums and dads house and on the way to Barham we had bright glowing flashing lights follow us and niether of us could explain it and being in the country we couldnt blame it on any thing than after leaving Barham going to Kerang the lights came back ......... we dont know what it was

Personally I have never seen one. But my father, who is a skeptic, says that he has seen a couple throughout his years a truck driver. Wouldnt mind seeing one though.

I have seen something like that... never a close encounter... but there is still time... The fact is that the moment they decide to come forward, it will be veeery nasty for all of us.

i've seen pictures, like anyone else, and i have seen something that could be considered an unidentified flying object. it depends on how open your mind is and how easily you will revert to saying it's all a hoax.

I cant say that I have but would love to. I long for the day when it can be proven and all these ppl who say it cant be true end up with egg on their face. Always keep an open mind just because science cant prove it exsist doesnt mean it doesnt.

once when i got out of middle school i looked up in the clouds and saw a black object swirl around real quick and disappear into the clouds.
another time i was sleeping in my grandmother's bed and woke up in the middle of the night to an extremely bright light shining through her window. i was into aliens at the time, so i knew right away what it was. i tried to move, but was in a paralyzed state. i tried to scream, but all that came out were pathetic whelps that barely made noise. this went on for about a minute, then i finally broke free and kicked my grandma. everything stopped and dissapeared. i believe 2 hours had passed by in that one minute. i couldn't move until morning i was so terrified.

i'd say both were during middle school. like i said in the area 51 post, there are many claimed abductions and siting in las vegas because there is so much light seen from space and because we're so close to area 51

I've never seen a UFO but I remember an article in the local paper about someone spotting one that zipped above someone's house and ripped off some shingles as it went by. It was suppose to have been very fast.

My father saw one, back in 1960`s along with hundreds of persons.

Somewhere near Cluj, Romania there are little hills that are a problem for the old engines because the motors use to stop there.Some say that the great uranium resources discovered under those hills can be the cause.
They are called Feleacului Hills.

So there was no surprise when , sometime bac in 1960`s, when my father and his colleagues were passing through there, their tour car has stopped.But the cause for the stop was not the engine breakdown,it was the fact that many many cars were stopped and all the people were out in the street, looking at the sky.
They saw an object flying that looked more like a translucent glass or bowl that stood suspended , without making a move or a sound, on a sky without a cloud in the middle of the day.

Agter about 15 minutes the object lifted slowly and perfectly vertical in the air and then disappeared in the same direction with an incredible speed.

The object was photographed I heard but I can`t find any foto about it on the inernet.

In october 2001, some unidetify flying objects hit a MIG 21 Lancer.The objects were not visible on the radar and they broke the cockpit of the military plane.

It was in the same zone.

The Government said that the military forces prefere to spend the money on other things then to investigate the phenomenon.

A few years ago I went outside to walk my dog and I look up at the sky and I say something that was just huvering in the sky (not moving) and then it just shot staight up in the sky and disapeard.

ufo"s well if we see something in the sky unexplainable then it is a ufo but there could be a explanation for it so how many of us have really seen a ufo who knows what they really look like hmmm i wonder

i've seen unexplainable lights in the sky many times over cornfields in illinois but I have never seen ships or objects. I will be looking though
