this thread makes me a bit satisfied that I have come to the Rave for knowledge and to shed like on previously unknown topics to all others.

The answer to your querry is to mainly have an open mind. If you have ever visited New Orleans in the 90's, you would have experianced wonderous things.

Such as the fae, I shite you not. the individuals known to themselves as the fae would walk and dance down Bourbon and every other side street blowing and sprinkling glitter (also known to them as fae dust) on all passerby's. This was a very romantic thing for them to do. It was a bit magickal if you were there to witness the excitement.

Along with open mindedness, near death experiences make things happen as well. From the aura site, to other worldly appearances. You may become a conduit for the sight, and or senses may be hightened to a point to where regular fantasy may become a reality.

Most would end up calling you either senial, or mental. But what you see for yourself, is for your eyes only until the world understands things from your perspective. This unfortunatly has been an invisible battle for centuries I am afraid.

I agree with a few different opinions. I think that they choose you, they can choose to be seen. Or you can attune yourself through meditation to be able to see at their level.

I think that the first thing is to be very open-minded. You have to believe in such things for them to be real to you. The more open-minded you are the more likely you will have the opportunity to see or even contact such a creature.

I think you would have to truly believe in them and be open to the possibility. If I were a spirit or other, I would likely choose the person who would be most likely to welcome me.

Children have invisible friends,they swear are really there.Children tend to see and hear things most adults can't and they haven't let the adult world in yet.Its possible they still see and hear the things that go bump in the night.

first principal of attraction = Like attracts Like.
Meaning if your energy and thoughts match theirs, you will attract them as well as others things and other people who's energy is similar to yours.
You want to attract things of higher frequencies, you need to keep raising your vibration/energy to a higher level.
This includes Beings from other dimensions.

I know the celtic pooka showed themselves to who ever they wanted to , and only those they wished saw them . Some wiccans attempt to invoke spirits of the other planes . It really all depends on what you are trying to see as to how you go about it

i think if you wanted to attract them that they would have to be searching for something to find you... and how do you know that they already arn't attracted and you haven't noticed?

I beleive they have to choose to show themselves to allow us to see them allow us to know them, not the other way around, if we try to force them, the result will be that they will avoid us or reject or even worst cause us pain nad trouble.

everything is attracted to similar souls if that makes sense people with a pure heart attract the same and people with evil inside them seem to attract evil beings. I think you attract what you are and they let you see them when they think to need to see them.

I agree with those who say that these beings choose you. A gift given them from them to you by being able to see into their worlds

How to attract some i have no idea.. spirits I can not begin to tell you they have always been around me so I have never had to try to see or have them near me.

But the fae... for them I first had to accept they existed.. really accept it not in an abstract way.. and then I simply asked them into my life.

I am very very glad I did.. but I do have a word of warning for anyone seeking to see and experience new beings... be sure your aware of what your asking into your life as you may not be able to turn it off once you attract them to you.

I believe they choose whom to show themselves to. They see things in us we will never see. Things we hide even from ourselves.We can only hope what they see in us is deemed worthy of their attention.

Are you talking about ghost like craetures whenever you say unseen people?All I know is that it is believed that if a child is born at midnight it has the gift of sight and is able to see beyond the grave. This child is known as the chime child. The seventh son of the seventh son is also supposed to have this power. Also If you wish to have a deceased relative find their way home, by the Maya’s tradition, all you have to do is draw a chalk line from their grave to the fireplace of your home. This way the spirit will always be able to find its way back home.

Thats almost like choosing or making something come to you and I always thought you are picked not the other way around...

Most people are truly oblivious to their surroundings. If you are are open and one with your surroundings you will be able to either see or sense all types of things. Unfortunately with all of the distractions in todays society sometimes this is difficult to do.

Because of my profession I have met many people who claim to communicate with and see beings that many people simply can't. I envy them.

Some of it is a matter of fate and being in the right place at teh right time

Try to meditate look deep into your soul and let your mind go and they might reveal themselves to you

I don't think you reach them, but they reach you. Its their choice and theirs alone.

I have always noted that if you catch a glimpse of them, often they have cought a glimpse of you too. This makes it much easier to make contact with them if they know you are paying attention to them, they will help the contact take place. You do need to "tune in" as some put it in order to feel or sence their presence.

what i've experimented is through meditation. you can find other creatures and be in contact with them...

now, there are other methods, that i dont recommend, like summoning spirits, or maybe the ouija... but those are too dangerous ...

The best times of the year and of the day are the crossquarter points.

The world of Middle Earth and the Otherworld are closest at Samhain (Halloween) and at Beltane (May Day). Some say you can also meet Fae creatures at Imbolc (Candlemas) and at Lugnasagh (August 1).

During the day, the best times are at twlight (sunrise and set) and mid-day and mid-night.

Don't confuse twelve o'clock with mid-night ot noon, but determine the actual midpoint between sunrise and sunset. I would also look at day like Samhain and Beltane for the actual crossquarter points between the solstices and equinoxes.

Those would be the "witching hours" and best days.

How do you meet them at these times? It takes a clear mind. That's why some children can see them and often cats will see them - when they stare at a particular space for no reason.

I am not sure but do you think your aura could help attract certain creatures or entities...?

Everyone has the right to their beliefs and opinions; as per aura attracting certain types of creatures I would say big possibility, Everyone’s energy is different; we refer to it as energy signatures. I would think certain types of creatures may be drawn to similar energies, much like the energy vampyre chooses his food, and they are naturally drawn to the energy best suited to them even if they don't realize they are doing it. Just my opinion and observation over the years.

When you draw somethings attention, it is in reaction to your own desires.

There are things, beyond fae, and there are attentions which are not always wanted, but they when responsive are guides to let you know you are doing things right.

When you have them come to you, and seek you out through those whom you help, you get their attentions, as those you help become like bug zappers in the night, drawing those you would have to you with the incandence of your own truest nature.

Not always a good thing, but always a needed thing. If people come to you as you walk your path. If they ask for things of you, with no prompting from your own nature, and you discuss things which you have been dealing with then it comes to pass that things do fall into place for reasons. If even that those reasons are self created conversations, and interactions.

When you seek, you must become as the thing sought. You must shine in your own way, a light to those things whose influence you would gain.

You do not win the favor of the gods by being weak. You earn their assistance by being strong in the actions through which they are manifest. Your thoughts and will, bring out your inner light, and that shines to forces which can be of those of the first creation.

oh wow interesting. I would think about meditation and trying to conect with them through your thoughts. Believe you are talking to them and send them your way.

Should be hard but it could be a long process and exsausing at that.

I think that if you open your senses to the possibility of meeting other worldly beings and creatures it is most definately possible!

I think one should be very careful when trying to attract "others" you could attract something negative just as easily as positive. I would think it would be best if they showed themselves to you and I think they do this of their own will and when they want to.

Another thought... it could possibly be influenced by the individual's reason for wanting to see them...

I would also agree with that thought, if you wish to attract be very careful what it is you are attracting.

I dont think there is a way to "lure" creatures of other-world. In fact I believe if there was a way to lure them, i dont believe most people could see them. If one has the gift to see such other-worldly creatures, one will see such beings.

be careful of what you try to attracted if that is indeed what you are doing, if it just happens to you, keep yourself shielded as best you can

I feel that usually it is not about luring so much as the other just being drawn to you like a magnet i guess. Either there is a connection between you and them or there isn't. You can't force anything really just let nature take its course as they say.

That might be it as well. I still think its based off of your ability to see. There are things around us we cant even phathom, becaused we cant see them. Like "the sixth sense" kind of. Im sure there are kids like that.

You can do it by meditation or spellwork. If you choose the spell work method make sure that you put a lot of protection around yourself more .

I believe they are with you all the time and they choose a time to show themselves to you.

i guess if it depends on who they feel like need to see them.. also i heard if you do things like magic and ll they the more they'll show themselfs.

I guess if they actually exist - then they would choose who saw or interacted with. Like people and animals in real life - they find something about you they like to interact with you ...or they go about their merry way.

yeah I think things choose who they want to see them and who they don't. All I can say is don't be so eager to see something and it might appear. I have been so eager to see a ghost at my job but none have appeared . They do make sure I know they are there though.

I think it is based on the peronality of the person that attracts them; things like Confidence, Peacful, Intelligent, and Willingness To See What Is Shown are a few characteristics that i thing would be appealing to any being
