Do you think that reading someone's aura shows what a person truly is?

I always thought that Aura reading gave more of the purity and strenght of there core energy, maybe Im wrong.

Not exactly. The aura is the individuals energies, more like moods. You may tell if a female has children or is pregnant, or if someone is angery or about to fall ill. Much like that of a mood ring.

There are certain conditions which involve the aura, that may judge a persona, but these conditions require finely tuned abilities which most do not have, but may develop in time.

I think it shows more of the feelings but I have been able to do it. It's also more of your own instinks. How you feel abot the person around you.

Auras are funny because if you meet the right person your auras mingle. You both taste the other's emotions in a way.

Some people can change the color/feelings of their auras so you have to be careful on who you read.

When one chakra is dominant it contributes to the shade of your aura - and helps explain either what your mood, affliction, or overal personality is. I dont think that you can fake your aura so it should provide a true read on a person

That is an understatement, I always hide my true identity, in person with my aura and online, with the same energies.

I believe it is what the person is feeling at the moment. Also it gives a little history on who that person is. And how that person is if that makes any sence...

There is a book I read once called Jason's Journal. It was a true story that a boy wrote. He was into occults and auras and that kind of stuff. In the end he kills himself because it becomes to much for him. It's a very interesting book and I think you guys should check it out.

I would love to have my aura read. I believe an aura changes due to moods, outside influences, and many other variables. Interesting topic.

No, i believe much as other people have said above, that it is possible to manipulate an aura to give a false reading.

Mind you I've never even seen one though.

I am not entirely sure what auras tell you but I have seen a few and I think they are something like mood rings... I saw the same person twice in one day and both times it was a diff color. I still don't know what they mean or how to interpret them... all I know is that I saw a few and it really threw me off. (I only saw them for about a day... idk what happened but it was funky and kinda creepy... because I don't understand them as well as the abnormal things that normally happen to me... so I viewed it as a new playground in a way... But it stopped so... maybe one day I'll see some again.. idk.)

I don't think it tells you who a person is, more what they are learning and what is right or wrong with them. The Aura is an outwards sign of energy from our soul.

Auras, like others have stated, is like a mood ring. A person's energies changes colors depending on their emotions. sometimes the glow is more noticable when a person's emothions are heightened.

If you see someone with a red lightening bolt dashing from their body, you can be fairly sure they're angry or anxious about someone or something. Perhaps now is not a good time to confront them with an issue. You can examine their aura later in the day and determine if they have calmed down from the earlier encounter,so yeah I beleivev that they can.

I dont believe that reading someone's aura can tell you the kind of person they are. However it can tell you what they are going through in life and about illnesses, emotions etc.

I would agree with Specterdrake.. I learned long ago how to read auras and find them facinating. I also learned how to see the energy fields that surround living things and how to feed off of them. I do not feed off of people as that would be wrong but I do tend to meditate and feed off the energies of the plants that surround me... off of nature as it were. If that makes any sense.

yes it makes complete sense... i do that during storms.... the energy is very high during a good storm and I love it.

Auras are only a good indicator of a person's feelings and well being if they are not able to actively hide their true nature. Many skilled persons can cast a false aura that appears as a projection of what they want believed of their emotions, health, and psychological state.

Auras have a lot to do with ones energy (ies) Reading an aura is connected with peripharal vision, much like 3D. I hear the best way to start is to work with plants...it is a bit easier to see a plants aura.

I think that people can read too much into an aura....and never see the real person.

Aura is a good way to understand the mental or phisical state of the subject, but what I find most interesting with auras, is that they are so fancy, they emmit in many different colors!

Aura readings have been useful in diagnoses of malfunctions of the body in advance of physical problems. But we lack the knowledge to predict many other things with the aura.

to me they are a good way to get a feel for somone at a distance i tend to think there aura changes with there moods

I belive that Aruas give you a sence of the persons true being if you can see the true color of them as they tend to change with a persons mood

not always because if the person in question is sick or has alot going on their reading is going to be all muddled and i dont think you can go by that best just to get to know the person or if ur unsure steer clear

I always thought that auras revealed what kind of person you are just by what color your auras was or what kind of mood the person was in.

well they are good was of determaning a persons health and well being....but only to a point....the chakra is mainly what is used for that.....auras area direct reflection of what is in a person.....ifyou are dark and gredy jealous or even a very loving and caring person it will showin your aura...im working on getting the colorinterpritation typed into my puter then i will save them to my journal

no I don't. I think someone with a strong enough control of mind and will power could also change thier aura to suit what they want others to see.

I think that their aura can give us a glimpse of who a person is or more importantly is capable of being. If you read a person’s aura and they have a very positive good aura that could mean that you could them at a pretty good time. That does not really mean that the person is a good person all the time. That person could be capable of doing bad things. The same goes with reading a negative aura. I don’t think people can hide their auras well. If someone is reeking of negative energy there is not going to ba a way for them to hide that.

The levels of the aura's that change are outer layers the do reflect emotion and feelings of the time. but the base, the levels closest to the body thats the part that stays constant for the most part, there are a lot of exceptions.

Not necessary, it could be just the mood's colour not the true persona. However an aura can have more than one colour if I am not mistaken, therefore it could be a mixure of moods or their true persona and moods, but I believe an evil one is clearly recognizable in this case...

A person's aura tells you what they are feeling at a certain time. It doesn't show you who they really are, for that you need to be in their mind.

I don't know how to explain it but I get a sense of how people are even without talking to them. I can look across the open space of my workplace and choose between 4 people who is the most like what i want in a mate without ever having a word with either of them. After talking to them all I find I am right.

I believe that you can read people but my dog can really read people so if she doesnt like a person i tell them to stay away.

Yes, I would think that interpreting the energy given off by a person would give some menial insight to at least that person's inner workings. I don't know about more complex thoughts, wants, and needs, but definitely some sort of habitual schedule.

Would everyone's aura have the same colors. I guess reading the colors, if you knew how, could tell you a lot about a person. Their past, present, and future, but you have to think that things like this are not always correct. just like Tarot and Palm Reading, not everyone believes in it.

I read somewhere about everyone having 7 layers of auras... but it is the first 3 that matter most and the first is most visible as it is most important. It said that the colors do change by mood or something.

I do not rightly know.. There is some times when i believe in it and then there are other times i think it is not real. I am on the fence..

I had a friend once tell me that differnt people may have the ability to pick up Auras. From what I remember it is a color background of the person that someone can see or visualize. Different colors mean differnt things to differnt people. I used to believe that a clear or transparent aura represent a clear but good soul inside of a person.

i personally think it shows the truth of someone. I mean if your aura is a color representing evil and you put on a facade, there is obviously a problem.

I think reading some ones aura would tell more about whats going on in there life at that time.

I believe that a person who has mastered their chakras can possibly give off a false aura or mask their true aura.

I read in a book that everyone through meditation can change their chakras and each one represents something different. It takes alot of concentration and practice and that you can visualize your own aura and change it.

Peoples aura's change depending on thier mood and health. So u can tell what frame of mind someone is in by reading thier aura

Aura, the way I understand it, is the color of energy you have.... like good or evil, and maybe the degrees in between. Anyone can fake actions, but nobody can hide their true intentions forever. If you can read another person aura, it's probably a good indicator.

i think that u can tell a person by their aura... simply because it tell u where there mind stands on alot of things as far as creativity , sexuality , intelligence, spirituality, etc etc etc.....

I would have to agree with those who said auras have to do with the mood. I have also heard them referred to a persons health! Like someone who has cancer seems to have a dark or black aura.

I do not believe the reading would ever be an accurate one, you are seeing the energy that ones emotions expel and that changes constantly, its not a deep enough source.

I've never seen an aura personally but all things i imagine give off some kind of color if you stare at it long enough. The eyes are well known to play tricks sometimes. Maybe an Aura is like heat that is radiating off the body? Ya never know. ;)

Your aura can contain your past and present in it. People carry a lot of emotions in them sometimes conflicting with one another. A person can carry many emotions at once and the stronger ones give off more energy which influences what you see.You can learn a lot if you know how to read a person right, but it may or may not reflect that person since it is influenced by energy of the person and their emotions.

I have never been able to see a persons aura or read it ect ect. I guess it takes certain people, but what I have experienced is others saying that they can sense my aura an such. I believe auras can show when someone is lying and whatnot. People can lie easily through words, but its impossible to lie through aura.

I don't think that being able to read someone's aura would completely define who they truly are because as Amaltheia said, a lot of people hide who they truly are, and others don't know what lies within them..

My aunt reads auras, and they change all the time. They don't show who you are, but what you're going through. It could show that you have a heart problem, that you need to let something go, that you need to find something. They're there to help us improve our lives.

Reading A Person's Feelings

I go by my feelings if a persons aura is bad i dont get around them. my animals seem to read auras also.

An aura is a field of subtle, luminous radiation surrounding a person or object like the halo or aureola of religious art.
We ALL have the ability to see them because they are nothing more than electromagnetic fields that surround every living thing, I do not know if I truly believe that the color of auras have anything to do with the person they are attached to but there is a lot that I do not know so anything is possible.

GOLD AURA COLOR: The color of enlightenment and divine protection. When seen within the aura, it says that the person is being guided by their highest good. It is divine guidance. Protection, wisdom, inner knowledge, spiritual mind, intuitive thinker.

BLACK AURA COLOR: Draws or pulls energy to it and in so doing, transforms it. It captures light and consumes it. Usually indicates long-term unforgiveness (toward others or another) collected in a specific area of the body, which can lead to health problems; also, entitities within a person's aura, chakras, or body; past life hurts; unreleased grief from abortions if it appears in the ovaries

WHITE AURA COLOR: Reflects other energy. A pure state of light. Often represents a new, not yet designated energy in the aura. Spiritual, etheric and non-physical qualities, transcendent, higher dimensions. Purity and truth; angelic qualities.

White sparkles or flashes of white light: angels are nearby; can indicate that the person is pregnant or will be soon

EARTH AURA COLORS: Soil, wood, mineral, plant. These colors display a love of the Earth, of being grounded and is seen in those who live and work on the outdoors....construction, farming, etc. These colors are important and are a good sign.

RAINBOWS: Rainbow-colored stripes, sticking out like sunbeams from the hand, head or body: A Reiki healer, or a starperson (someone who is in the first incarnation on Earth)

PASTELS: A sensitive blend of light and color, more so than basic colors. Shows sensitivity and a need for serenity.

DIRTY BROWN OVERLAY: Holding on to energies. Insecurity.

DIRTY GRAY OVERLY: Blocking energies. Guardedness.
