ok i may only be 16 years old, but i have alot of weird moments, like ill go somewhere ive never been before, but ill already know what to ecpect, never seeing it or hearing about it... or (this is the wierdest) before ppl call i know they are goona call and who it is... im no pyscic or any of that, but this kind of weird stuff happens all the time...
my friend believes our souls are recycled and we relive our past lives... what are your beliefs???

yes many of us believe that we have lived before and that our souls have been as you say " recycled" We usually have unfinished business or some believe that we are here over and over for a purpose .. like to help someone in their life . Even to help change and mold history as it were .

From what I have understood the way it was explained it to me is when you have a de za voux experience can be an occuranec from a dream that you had which I believe all of us have some unconscience level of psychic abilities that are unchannelled

i think your friend is on some what of the right track...and the things you experience are related to being psychic....

We all have the ability to see things if we open ourselves up to truly see them for what they truly are.. I feel that if one harnesses themselves and looks at each aspect of our dreams then yes it is possible indeed..

I have seen things from past lifes since I was 14yrs old...

I personally believe in past lives because I have had dreams of people and place I have never been to or seen.

I would agree with what everyone has already said. Deja Vu happens toa lot of people all time. I know that when it happens to me I write it in my book to later recollect on what they have in commen with past ones.

We all have this ability. Some of us are just coming to terms with it. Our souls travel on when we die and become the new you in what we call our next lives. When we go to a place or do something and we believe we have already done this even when we havent we call it a dejuv. Generally all it is is that our soul is telling us that we have been there done that as it has already travelled this path.

I believe this and it happens to me all the time. We travel many paths in many lifetimes, learning and growing with each one.

Seems as though you may have a very acute awareness for this type of approach, not many do. It is a very specific talent. If you learn to hone it, it may help you in all aspects of life.

Reincarnation is a nice idea, not overly sure I follow that line of thought as universal justice would not be in effect then. I mean if you came back because of bad Karma or whatever but were not able to remember that you were a turd in your last life then what is the point to make right all the evil done? Does that make any sense?

i do not think that i have lived before, tho some times it seems possible

my thoughts are that there is another spirit traped inside me, who put it there and why i dont know but it seems evil... very evil...
the advantage is it dosent seem to want me dead and there have been times when i have felt myself being controled and my actions have saved my life...
the first exsample of this i think of is the last time i crashed into an on comming car. the driver said that if i hadnt moved the way i did i would have cracked my head wide open and died...

Fallen I have had that happen to me as well, it really feaked my friend out because I told him that Isaw an accident happening with us driving down this country road not 15 minutes later, we were able to avoid though.

Deja Vous is an illusion that a new situation is a repetition of a previous experience. It is not uncommon for people to have this experience, some would even call it psychic ability. I know that many relate this to past lives however I don't believe in them. I feel it is related to your present life and a sixth sense.

Well, that happens to me a lot. Not as much as it happens to my mother though, but it is still very frequent. It is your subconscious mind (IE: the mind of your spirit) remembering your past lives. Everyone you know now you knew in your past lives. If this is as frequent as you say it is, I think it's safe to say that you're a very old spirit with a lot of knowledge and acceptance to new things. I would say that you probably had your first "humani experience" when the renaissance was occuring.

episodes that predict what is about to happen... or what is happening somewhere else...at a given moment..

I tend to dream about real life things that tend to come true eventually. Usually I will forget about the dream and when the reality happens it kicks in that memory of the dream and I wind up in a mild state of shock.

I have the same type of things happen to me. I tend to just accept it and move on. I don't question or overthink it too much.

I know that i feel there are some people you can meet and know there is some sort of connection with them like you have known them before.
I don't know if that is like past life or what really.
There is this guy though who i have considered a father for a long time who told me once that he has felt since we met that we were father and son in a previous time or life.
I found that interesting that he felt that and meant not just now but in a long ago past as well.

There are old souls and new souls.... some deja vu feelings could just well be a blast of your past. A good thing is to write down when and where you are when you have those feelings..see if a pattern emerges.

I freaked my mom out when I was younger...like about 4 or 5...I was standing in a place and I told her that there were people that once lived here that moved from place to place...I described them and the dwellings that they used...now you to have to keep in mind this was way before cable and there were only 3 channels on TV...not to mention that the whole area was now built up with houses and the trees where cleared...I told about the trees...that there were a lot of them...and I described the native americans that lived in my area...told her that they kept moving from a danger...so yea there were times when I was younger that I dreamed of such things but I guess when I got older I lost touch with how to see....

I don't think that you're reliving past lives. I think you're experiencing deja vu.

What does a telephone call have to do with reliving the past? That sounds more like clairvoyance if it isn't just a really good guess.

It seems many people have deja vu, and I don't think it is psychic. Scientists study deja vu and have some explantions related to the mechanics of your brain. Some of the things discussed here though are much more than deja vu and are probably psychic in nature.

I do believe in past lives but to me it sounds like you are having more or a precognition type thing happening.....

very interesting post, in my belief (and I'm sure this has been discussed in another thread at one time) that when we sleep our bodies travel into the past or intot the future hence the term "dejavu". I have often foud that those I am closet to i have a past connection to them to a point we always seem to know when we are going to call each other or when one is thinking about the other.

I have many recurring dreams of other lives. The strangest ones are ones in which I am a man. Waking up in terror as I realise I do not have a penis can be quite disconcerting. As a buddhist I believe we are all reincarnated over and over again and I think it can be beautiful to be able to remember parts of old lives we have had. I know I have some beautiful memories:)

Reading the past is totally different.To do that one must read the Akashic records.

When one has the initial gift but not the experience to recognise what is happening ,and gets an accidental glimpse of these records,it can feel weird and like they are reliving the past.But we arent,we simply reading.;)

Deja Vu most likely, however I believe there's a possibility of past lives. Like, if we go to heaven, and want to return to earth, then we are reborn into a baby and live on until we die again.

I have found myself looking at painting made way before my time feeling so connection to them as well as castles and some structures wondering why i know them and how i could .

I do think we all live our past over again many times..I believe sometimes it is to correct something that has happened before but most times I think our life ended before it should have so we are getting another chance at it again or something else

Well I do feel sometimes certain days seem like they repeat their selves.

Its called dejavu and premonition, we all have this from time to time although some dont think twice about it.
