Ok, for you blood drinkers.
Where is the safest, most appropriate place on the body to draw blood from?
i have no clue as im not a blood drinker, but to say i dont think there is a safe place inless you no how to stop the bleeding
Safest in a couple of ways.
Location. We know that there isn't anything safe about mixing blood and saliva, yet folks do it. Do they bite an area of the body that will remain covered so that mundane's do not see it?
You probably wouldn't bite in an area that would be more prone to infections.
Just trying to figure some of this stuff out.
all main arteries are no go areas...
oh and make sure they aren't on aspirin!
I think it would be easier just to drain them and snap their neck when you're done.
ROTF. I thought that it wasn't polite to play with your food when you are done with it.
That is true.
And teh best places are the main veins on your arm where they draw blood.
I say this because it is easy to clean & bandage after each use.
But only use each arm when healed so you won't infect it more as it heals when you clean it out.
Is there such a place to call safe? If a person were to lose too much blood, they could die, then what are you going to do?
LMAO, No playing with your food is the only way to go..
Well if you have your heart set on drinking human blood. A small cut that is bleed into a warm (heater) mug, chalice, cup would be ideal.
You really would not want to put your mouth over an open wound. Unless you want the person to get an infection that is. There are so many germs in the human mouth thats its safer to let your dog , whom eats poop, lick your wounds then it would be for you to.
IF, you are playing with someone and make a small abrasion with your teeth or a "hickie" like wound its not as likely to get infected but theres still a risk.
In any context the wound should then be cleaned with peroxide or other astringent. Then a nice triple antibacterial ointment, unless you are going for scaring that is.
Do a forum search for the thread, "Bloodsucking, a primer." Basic info for the beginner.
Well to me I think arm is one of the more safer places to draw blood from...
You can bandage the arm and it will heal fast..
I'll pass on drinking blood. I get my blood from a nice medium rare steak. Damn I'm hungry. I'll have to find some meat, I hope she doesn't mind.LOl
Well I don't drink blood and really have no desire to do so, so I can't really say where you should or should not draw from ... When you are dealing with an open wound, though, you really need to watch for infection ...
THAT IS A GOOD QUESTION AS IVE NOT HAD THE PLEASURE YET BUT WISH TO
The care the Red Cross gives when taking blood may help. They question all donor for a whole series of diseases and screen all donor blood for the most serious ones. They also check the arms for needle tracks. The sanitize the area before they place a sterilized need in a vein. The check pulse and blood pressure thoughout. They then sanitize the area and bandage it. They imediately give food and drink and won't let the person leave for 10 to 20 minutes.
They only allow donations every couple months.
If you are going to follow any information as to the "safest" bet on blood letting, my suggestion would be to use a serrated scalpel, alcoholic wipe, and the arm just below the shoulder. This place should be consistant with what you are looking for. Just a small nic should do.
You have all control of the flow, and no worries about over "feeding".
Safety first darlins. :)
Use a steril razor or something that you use for just the purpose of taking blood.
Everyone takes blood from some place different and it is your choice.
However, I have found that using a clean steril razor and making about a 3/4 inch cut in the breast or inner thigh is a very sensual and gradifying place to drink.
Please consider the age ranges here on VR.
I personally do it under rather stringent sanitary levels. It's not always easy to maintain thus, but it is needed.
most of the time it is done in a place not seen by eyes... I find the spot below the shoulder and the thigh the best for myself however I do bite the necks of those I care about...
i dont know if any place is safer... but i normally cut arms and legs... not deep cuts but enough to let the blood out...
This is bad. You're all a bunch of butchers. LOL.
If you must draw blood and you are not a medical professional (phlebotomist, nurse, paramedic, doctor) here are some tips...off the record.
1. Sanitize the site for the draw. The best method for this is a betadine scrub solution used for surgery. (You can buy this at the drug store), rinse with sterile saline solution, blot dry with sterile gauze pad. If you dont have sterile materials at least use clean materials.
Happy bleeding.
2. Wipe the area with an alcohol pad (70% isopropyl works fine) if the aboove is not available.
3. Use a disposable lancet ( for testing blood glucose levels in diabetics). You can buy these in most pharmacies with out a prescription.
VENIPUNCTURE IS UNWISE.
(Sticking a needle in your vein)
If you must do this use a small peripheral vein (hands or feet).
Use a sterile small gauge needle (20ga or 22ga). If you are using a syringe with needle pull the plunger back a 1/4 inch/5mm and watch for blood flash in the tube. STOP advancing once you see this.
Apply direct pressure on the site with a clean dressing for 1-3 minutes with the extremity elevated. Once bleeding has stoped apply an anti-biotic cream or ointment and bandage.
Never re-use needles. Some of you will, so before doing so, rinse immediately after use to avoid clotting in the trochar. Soak in 10% bleach solution for 24 hours.
There are many professional chemical agents that can be used to disinfect as well. Most of these are not people or pet freindly. Use caution.
when i used to drink my friends and i would take it from the arm, wrist, legs, chest, and sometimes stomache
i usually get a lot of scars on my arms or neck
so, if my boyfriend claims to drink blood
.....
you can sort of guess the rest :D
well it's safer to do it that way
and besides, if a puncture to the skin is deep enough, it can cause swelling and/or infection
and also, if a vampire bites the neck, i think it would be a bit too close to the windpipe,
i don't know what i'm talking about
I'd have to agree with the main arteries being a no-go zone.
One more thing I neglected to mention.
Sucking blood from the wound or puncture is REALLY un sanitary. All the bacteria in the mouth should stay out of the blood stream and tissue.
Here's a link to some info on a neat little bacterial infection that is becomming more widesrpead that ever.
MRSA
Google MRSA and select images and check it out. Way to graphic to put here.
Very lovely tego.
Well I am a phelbotmist(sorry for the spelling I am in a hurry)
So that is why I said the arm & the sterilzation tips you gave them along with using the arm should work out perfectly.
i don't really know if what i am about to say will help in any way but here goes nothing...
It is very driving need and takes a great deal of resistance to overcome the desire / craving / urge / lust / need / pull / demand / thirst / hunger / addiction / want. When I feed, I am very focussed on only that; it is not my main concern, it's my only concern. The taste is beyond delightful. It alleviates the thirst, the need. It gives a sense of peace, of well-being, of euphoria, of relaxation and energization at the same time. -- I don't know how to explaine that, but if you're one who has experienced it, you'll know what I mean. It's akin to being drunk almost, but different. Drunk, without the sluggish clumsiness of enebriation. You could take on the world. I sleep like a baby afterwards. As for what I'm thinking during feeding, not much. I'm focussed on the feeding, almost entirely, wanting more, wishing it were gushing down my throat...frustrated if it's not; focussed on the taste, on the relieving feeling....
thank you very much for your comment wolfkiller and thanks also for the ohters you have commented on i really thin you views are very good too great work on your part...

Well I just am honest & love a good post that is all thank you for your kindness unknown.
I am happy to see the safety tips on how to "draw" blood, which is all very well if you are into that sort of thing. Being aware of bacteria is never a bad thing but safety comes first. Drinkiing someones elses blood is just downright dangerous what with all the diseases there are.
It all depends on who you bite, It all defers for me where I like to bite who..
I preffer my donors to use sterile syringes, so they can contribute with their humble donation, with out any healt risks, or considerable amount of pain inflicted by a bite.
In case that is not avalible, but I dont see, why, beacuse I am never unprepaired, but just in case it does happen, then I bite where ever I am allowed to bite, by the donor.
I would have to say the arm because thats where the doctors withdraw blood from so why not blood drinkers as well.
The wrist or finger tip is an appropriate spot, however, there are many other locations that will satisfy the Sang and Donor considering the bond. Most minor cuts will close in about 6 1/2 minutes under normal conditions...
Unless you know anatomy- inner thigh is not a good place unless closer to the knee. The femeral artery is fairly close to the surface in the groin area.
*shudders* Seriously people take some time and do some research before doing something that can have serious negative effects to the rest of your life.
Not only that...but seriously...if you're honestly going to go try this on a human being...you should pay attention to some protocol.
A. Make sure the person you're drawing blood from is hydrated...and warm. Cold veins are harder to locate.
B. Make sure that the area you are drawing blood in is sterile. Don't use the kitchen or bathroom. Use a clean needle, wash your hands with antibacterial soap or wear gloves...make sure that the area you are drawing blood from is sterile.
C. Do NOT use your mouth like some tv Angel freak. Think of a dirty toilet bowl full of germs, shit, and urine. Now think of that toilet bowl being dumped into your blood stream.
If you bite someone and draw blood...you're kind of a prick. I hope they enjoy your infection.
As for vein selection..the larger and fuller median cubital and cephalic veins of the arm are good..the basilic vein on the dorsum of the arm or dorsal hand veins are also acceptable.
If you're not sure what I just said...you probably shouldn't be drawing anyone's blood.

I would suggest a smaller appendage like a finger or a toe... that way after the victi...er.. donor gets an incurable infection it will be easier to amputate....
...geez.. all this talk about blood all the time.. makes.. me.. a.. little.. dizzewjefwip grihrkigj g rrj gggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg gggggggggggggggggggggggggggg gggggggggggggggggggggggggggg ggggggggggggggggggggggggggg ggggggggggggggggggggggggggg ggggggggggggggggggggg
I would think that it is only safe with a master of the bloodletting practice. This is something that a amateur should not try, it is very dangerous and life threatening if cut in the wrong place...........
We should not be blatenly telling how this process can be done with a few words. Again only a master of the bloodletting experience should be doing this. Especially with the younger generation here they should not be hearing the different ways of doing this, cause most likely they will try it and hurt themselves.
in my oppinion the safest area to drink blood from a body would be there thighs or there hips.it's hidable from the crowd and it will stop bleeding eventually.again its just my oppinion as i am not a blood drinker
i dont know where is the safe pace and i dont drink blood at all...
for me i like my food to last a bit so i drain the smaller areas such as the fingers and such in the understanding i have a return meal
First you want to make sure of your donor. Also you want them to feel comfortable, a good place to begin with is the arm, or for some the tummy by the belly button.
Tap an artery with a by pass tube...or for the more tech savvy kindred The Super Hickey (no open wound)Device .Thats right draw that blood right thru the skin.Remember to chase and torment your victim for maxium pulse effect,or lull them comfortably for a steady draw, with less adrenaline and endorphins.
All very good opinions & suggestions such good information it really helps
Blood letting Masters? How about trained medical professionals trying to help a few peeps here from really fucking things up? I'd rather lay out some advice on how not to infect your donor with something wonderful like MRSA, ORSA or any other staph infection.
Use a lancet, prick your fingers and stay alive and out of jail.
pass me a Bloody Mary...thats the closes i get to blood drinking.
:-)
Make it a third...yuck.
But in seriousness, yes...reading this thread concerns me. Biting inner thighs and sucking blood? Yeah..you'll hide it from the public for a time..until your skin is infected and your flesh is peeling away from your bone...not a whole lot of hiding it there.
Please people, be very careful. It's one thing to play vampire and flit about asking for donors...it's awesome to get a little rough with your vampy girlfriend during sex.
It's quite a different matter to actually practice drawing a legitimate amount of blood from someone without being medically trained to do so.
If you pretend to be an MD..you go to jail. If you kill someone or injure them and they're pissed enough about it..what will your excuse be?
"well, officer..you see I'm a vampire..and it's how we roll"
LMAO...enjoy handcuffs!
LMAO You won't be enjoying handcuffs (well, you might), it's more like enoy the straight jacket.
when it comes to drawing blood form the body you need to know where the vital veins are so that you do not hit one
i have always used the arms and shoulders
first of all you must keep the same donor it makes it easier and you don't have to worry about catching anything you really don't want .
Sometimes I am truly amazed that the human race has survived this long.
I am not a blood drinker but as for my opinion, I would say the thigh becasue when I got cut very deeply, it was not hard to stop the bleeding.
I agree with TegoSanguisitim
who give the most safety tips here actually...!!!
vampireXmarr said red wings meanning:Preforming cunnilingus during menses to those who dont know wht red wings are..its actually not safe either...the bacteria from the mouth can create infection in the woman...beside the natural risks of STD
Rainbow Kiss when a menstruating female engages in reciprocal oral sex with a man ("69ing") and mixes his semen with her vaginal secretions and blood during a passionate kiss

Thank you so much RAA everybody thinks this is a game but if you f**k up on somebody you cause extreme pain if not a fatality.
when you suck blood I suggest you use the following safety tips given by tego & only use the arm.
I say this because IT IS THE EASIEST PLACE FOR THE BODY TO HEAL WITH YOUR HELP ON USING THE ABOVE STERILAZATION TECHINQUES.
THIS IS NOT!!! SOMETHING YOU MESS AROUND WITH IT IS DANGEROUS!
Thank you for reading this if you do blood let to another.
When I feed or feed my hubby, we cut our arms. Well most of the time. The upper outside part of the arm. It bleeds well and it's easy to keep clean after your done. Just be very careful when cutting of any kind in any place on the body. I am not saying what I do is save or go out and do it.
This is was taken from an article I wrote recently that is not yet published:
This is for your information, to help maintain a healthy and safe lifestyle. I personally do not recommend or condone blood play in anyway, due to my back ground and experience or perhaps my ignorance. I am not passing judgment on anyone who does practice feeding etc. I am simply offering some accurate information and suggestions on how to stay disease and infection free.
Blood borne pathogens: Blood borne pathogens are microorganisms that are present in human blood and can infect and cause disease in people who are exposed to blood containing the pathogen. These microorganisms can be transmitted through contact with contaminated blood and body fluids.
Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV)
Hepatitis B (HBV)
Hepatitis C (HCV)
Non A, Non B Hepatitis
Syphilis
Malaria
Relapsing fever
Creutzfeld-Jakob disease
Human T-lymphotrophic Virus Type 1
Viral hemorrhagic fever
HIV, HBV, HCV and syphilis are the most common blood borne pathogens; however all of these have serious medical implications. These diseases are not contracted by touching an infected person, coughing, sneezing or using the same toilets, water fountains or showers as an infected person. Typically they are transmitted through unprotect sex, puncture by a sharp object, such as a needle, broken class, or other "sharps", contaminated with the pathogen, contact between broken or damaged skin and infected body fluids or contact between mucous membranes and infected body fluids. These can in be in the form of open sores, cuts, abrasions, acne, burns, a fresh body piercing or any sort of damaged or broken skin, even severe sunburn.
Knowing your partner (or in this case your meal), their medical and social history is a vital. Ingesting (licking, drinking, etc.) a donor’s blood carries an enormous risk, even if you are certain the donor is “clean”. Remember, even you have not let the person out of your sight before and after any diagnostic testing to deem the donor safe, there is always the possibility of error.
Typo: "broken class" should be glass.
So still want to drink people's blood?
This is very true tego I fully support your information because the bbp or blood borne pathogen. Is in this case one of the most deadly ever to be contracted by blood-letting so everybody as he said if you do this be extremely careful.
well blood borne contaminants aside. how ever you go about getting to the blood you are going to cause damage.
just make sure you are not causing that damage to an artery or main vein.
so small cuts or punctures can be ok, just dont go too deep. be smart about it.
I don't think there is a best place, people have their prefered spots though.
i think the inside of the leg would be okay place to bite.
I actually give blood on occassion, but usually take it...lol, I cut on my chest, it is hidden and easy to bandage, I have never had a problem and it seems to bleed well if you heat the area with a hot wet cloth first; no place is truly safe, as if infection sets in it could be really nasty.
