What does your profile name mean?
I have noticed a lot of people have thought about their profile name carefully and cleverly (I applaud their adroitness). I would like you know what does your profile name mean? It could be a character from a film/book, a god/ess, a king/queen, fantasy etc….. I am Dhampir, which means, I was born of a mortal mother, I am half human, half vampire. Naturally inquisitive and constantly fighting the instincts of a blood-thirsty beast always lurking below the surface (not very well)

my name clearly states Empress of darkness, born half pure blood but i live with a fuckin mortal family...

Everything I was thinking of was already taken, and I started getting frustrated. Then a commercial for Toilet Duck toilet cleaner came on TV. The ones with the little duck in a tank or airplane. Inspiration. It's stuck ever since. Undernet cut the nick down to 9 characters before they changed it, which is why the k started getting left off. Which once again, stuck.

Phoenix- The bird of fire that dies every 500 years to be reborn; signifying change, transformation.
I am the Phoenix because I was once at the very edge of my life, with ex friends and what-not, and changed completely around.

Tempest- Storm
I took the last name of another Vampire, a leader if a clan near me. I broke off from these friends a long time ago as well, and this lets them know I am around.

My name is shortened from a name i've had for years.

My original name was not original at all. "madman_135" crap huh?

I fancied a change, my life had been a bit more meaning full and i needed something new and a bit more ME.

I decided that it needed "The" let's face it, anything with "The" in it's name sounds a lot more important than it really is. how could i resist?

"Gore" came from what i liked at the time. I was very much into Gorey games and violence.

"Master" was a word that came to my head quickly and nicely fitted on the end.

"The Gore Master" has been my internet alias for several years. Sadly, i wasn't allowed spaces, underscores or dashes :( so i had to go with "Gorey" on here. which is what i was known as on another forum where i was seen as more friendly than my name suggests

well this came from many things...
my sister and I...after we dropped our baby second incisers (the two teeth after your front teeth) the teeth that grew out were literally fangs. My mother both my sister and mine pulled out.
But then my canines were still very fang like and from the two stupid gaps I was able to bite down and the two canines came forward on my lip just like vampire fangs...
I had braces and the teeth were pulled forward and now my canines are in the place of my second incisors and my pre molars (which litterally are fangs) are in the place of my canines...so I've got natural fangs :P

So I've always has the nickname 'Fangs'

Well LadyBlood was the nickname I chose about 6 years ago, and though I just used to think it described me as a person, some people say the way i walk and act is very queen like & Blood because I like the taste of it and the energy it leaves within my limbs. Also as time went by I came to realise that my spirit is exactly this, a queen or Lady that is of Vampiric descent, herself a vampire.

I choose the name amalia because it also is my artist name, I sign all my poems with amalia riddle. Riddle because life, death is all about riddles the truth never revealed. well... very self explanatory. apart from this being something i love to do there is also a story to it.
i am born with a huge byte mark on the lower right side of my neck. very visible and by now i am used to those curious glances and smirks during conversations.
earlier i used to go with the name LoveBites, and one rejected-dumped-drunk night i decided to add some unemotional adjective to it and changed it to Bytes.
Love is emotional and 'byte' a very rigid technical term and i like the play inbetween them. adds some interesting element in there.

DarkLight Represents my tendancy to turn away from the Sun, high voltage lamps, anything with excessive heat, or light, i shun..

My Mother had the same problem.. She, a Vampire, married my father, a human.. sadly, she died before she could teach me about my heritage..

To me, Darklight means that if Light was Dark, i would nae shun it.. as, i am comfortable in under a cover of Blackness, ie, black sky, dark rooms, etc.

My name is an Arabic word meaning princess. I have many friends form the Middle East and they started calling me that, It stuck so there you go... :)
