Are vampires real or just a folklore.
would realy like real answers to this please, state what you feel

vampires are real.....as a way of life for most people.....especially here... ^_^

yeah id agree, they are real in the sense of lifestyle, i dont know for certain if they really exsisted, but i do belive that they do

well i had a friend to tell me sometime back...that there is a disease that takes one iron level out and the only way that
there could get the iron is by way of blood.....and some to drink it...which causes the teeth to even off ...the front ones to make it look like fangs on the side teeth..... and if i am wrong....i am sorry..... this was told to me when i
asked the quiestion to my friend....
and well she really hasn't sheered me wrong yet.....

our peception and belief create what ever we want and if we all believe that vampires are real then they are. its like when i child believed and santa etc... as long as that belief is not spoiled then it is real. but to a point vampires do exist they may not be as mystic of creatures as we think. but there are many real blood drinkers out there.

i feel they dont exist.. sure their are people that drink blood im sure of it, so that they can fit the characteristics, and they may even get fangs from the dentist... but thats only the extent, im sure none can fly or have psi powers... like many claim. would be cool if we could though.

ok here is my belive. i belive that vampires do or at least did exist at one time or another. there is just to much history in the past that show that there was something that feed off humans lookes human and was nocturnal. however if they exist today then they would have changed there way of killing for a more none lethal method of getting blood.

Anyone ever read the book Sweet Blood? I forgot the author's name... I really loved that book, ever though it took me less than a day to read it. It had a very interesting point of view... But as for me... I do believe in vampires, without a doubt. I don't believe in all the things people commonly say about vampires, or the things you see in movies most of the time. I believe it's different. In what way? Don't ask me, lol. I do believe in them though. I could swear I've met one before... but that's not a story to be told. A little secret I keep locked away in the depths of my mind. =)

I believe there is such things as vampires. Espically Psy-Vampires. I have been around a few of them and am sometimes one myself.

I believe there are "vampires" that live the lifestyle of being a blood drinker.

Vampires that are dead creatures that rome the earth and are immortal. I just see that a little to the extreme.

There is also another type of vampyre that exists in the astral plane. These guys really do drain you of life energy. Causing their host, emotional and health problems.

I do believe in psy vampires. They do exist. I also believe there are people who live off blood.

There are hemophiliacs and people with Van Wildabrands (don't think I spelled that correctly) and people who are anemic (don't think I spelled that correctly either) any way, these people need blood to survive. Generally it is done by transfussion, but there are those few who get the blood by other means. And they are considered vampires.

As far as immortal and all that, I believe that is Hollywood stuff or just tales told to scare children.

I believe...that there is much I can not prove and yet have a rock solid belief in. Vampires, as in movies and books, I have not encountered. Vamps on an astral plain, yes: Psy-vamps, yes I have meet a few in my time. I have been fortunate to learn one big old lesson in life, and it's that there are no absolutes.

If you consider a real vampire to be someone who drinks blood, then yes there are people who drink blood. However those normal people do not have the other powers such as flight and strength that fictional vampires are said to have, nor are they weak to the sun. If such vampires are real then I have not met one, but that does not mean they are not real.

i belive that it is very possibel that there are real vampires but they themselves may not eve know they are the vampires of myths and ledgends they are just over come with a pysical lust for blood, and may dissmiss it as mortal blood lust. but this cannot be proved as to prove this we would have to use DNA samples but for this we would need some DNA from a vampire and to know if this vampire it would have to be proved

I believe that some of the folklores have transpired to reality. There are to many stories about Vampires to believe. If noticed mostly all of them mentioned the drinking of blood. That is the only thing that has not changed. Drinking blood does not make you a Vampire. I believe in Vampires just like I believe in the Easter Bunny !!

To practice the vampire way does not make you one , nor does it make them real..I just wish that I could see one or meet one after all Iam from the show me state

Although it is hard to disinguish who is and who isn't because you can never really know if someone is or not because a true vampire will tell no1 or very few whom they trust...

They are real. Not Hollywood real, but like human real. They each vary with their abilities. Some are psychic, blood drinkers, etc...

Hollywood has taken them beyond what they really are.

Yes I do believe Vampire in a sense are real. However it would be nice to meet a "true" Vampire and have a conversation without letting you know they are one. I have been able to spot many a fake vampire.

Are vampires real? Sure, why not?

From historic point of view:
Every culture, not matter where part of the world they are, has a Vampire-like creature. And thru out history, numerous incidents envolving Vampire like behavior have appeared. But as the Blade Trinty movie pointed out.....When a Vampire is killed, they leave no evidence of existance.

From a scientific point of view:
Mant people have exhibited several Vampire traits. There several physical ailments that mimic Vampires, and several Psychologial ailments that have the person acting Vampiric. But since these ailments are rarely seen in the general population, who can say if these ailments aren't mutations of an original Vampire condition.

Personal view:
Sure, why the hell not! Until it is proved, without a doubt, that Vampires did not exist, I will decide that they do exist. There is too much coincidence to say otherwise.

There is a hidden face of truth behind MOST facades of myths....

Truth is you will never know if a vampire is of true blood..they may tell you they are but they could be trying tomake you think tehy are fake so that you dont pick up on their identity of being a vampire...

A real vampire will notopen themselves up to anyone....

Like I said before...Vampires will not reveal themselves to anyone but they do and can if the people they tell are trusted ones and are close, such as as you said in love...

My whole theory behind vampires, witches, you name it, is that they once existed and we were killed off to the point of endangered species. So we all ran and hid until we were forgotten about. And now we're gonna make a comeback

I believe vampires are very much real. To what extent? I do not hold the "thrue" or "correct" answer to that question. However, I believe each individual person has the right to answer that. I don't think vampires go to the extent that you find in Hollywood movies... I do believe that vampires have their own unique culture though...

well i say that vampires may not be real but there are blood drinkers out there and if someone rich back then had a blood lust and then the story is exagerated and bam you have vampires. =) or maybe they were real but we stinkin people kill em to extintion

I read something not too long ago that stated that a very long time ago what was referred to as vampires could have been what we call diabetics today. Something to ponder.

I am a vampire, raised by both parents as one and have practice the lifestyle all my life. I know most think thats a freaky thing, and not within the norm, but it happens. I dont believe in vampires like you see in the movies and books... but some people are real. Psi vamps are real. Prove it to yourself. Think about people you avoid because they wear you out just being around them. Everyone knows someone like that. either they are aware of it or not, but thats what they do. Yeah, I believe.Never rule anything out. If there are no vamps, there are no werewolves/lycan etc etc

I do not know what is real or not... I have never tested blood drinking as a way to get a higher status... What I do know is that there are such things as psychic vampires... How you may ask?... Well, I am one... and no this is not something I choose to be... It is something I was born with... It is a person who drains life force from others... This is why I can not be alone, no matter if it will hurt me... Maybe it is all in my head; who knows... but who cares either?... It is what I believe and that is all that really matters... Enjoy...

I must agree with Zlee about how it depends on what you consider a vampire to be. There are so many aspects of it that you have to take into consideration. Cause man has made so many myths about this creature . But to me they are reall ppl that are mortal live the lifestyle and practice it.

I agree with what has been said in here. Vampireism exists in a lifestyle. I doubt I would even know a true Vampire. If they even do exist. Because if you have watch some of the movie that I have. Any Vampire, Save for Dracula himself, automatically incenorates upon exposure to sunlight. staked through the heart or removal of the head, the turn to ash. etc etc... I think it is safe to say that "real" Vampire do not exist and this is all just a lifestyle we have come to like.

Are we not all vampires in our own fashion? That we feed off the fear of the younger? Or the happiness of our peers? Or maybe the domtiance over our elders? Humans themselves are like vampires, with only the thought to feed. Beside that the religion of vampire......is one day going to have a church...I could call it a premition.
