Is it true that most spirits that are contacted via ouji board evil?

i used one on my own last year and its probably the freakiest thing you can do. It did not work, however it filled me up with pure paranoia.

Anyone ever had experiences with this "game"?

Stewie, in my uses with the Board, never came across what you have felt and experienced. We did a protection and were ok with what we 'talked' to...

People may scoff, but the Board should never be taken lightly or used as a toy...

I've used a ouija board before, some friends and I. To answer you question, I have no idea, the spirits that my friend and I talked to didn't seem to be evil, but when it comes to death you never know...

I have used oija boards in the past but I do not like them.. the channel is too wiede and sometimes what comes through is very unplesant...

In my case they were all evil even with a protection and banishing spell I don't know but I guess I can attract only evil spirits.

I do know something about it. And it isn't a play thing....you get out of a ouija board what you put into it in a sense...if you want a party game....it is only a game. If you honestly want it for a purpose...then it is very real. You cannot go in with many consious expectations.....it knows if you are fake, silly I know. I have been told names and places and everything you can think of with one, usualy in my experience it cannot be done with one person, needs at least two. It is a rather amazing thing, something smart enough not to give the answers to fools. So people that bitch that it doesnt work....had no idea. It has proven its self to me. And I am a harsh skeptic, I apply logic to EVERYTHING and I could not explain away this one. Also "evil" is relative, man made term there. Who is to define any of it. BUT yes, if you CAN mess with the wrong things with a board. You can become dependant on it as well, if someone you love talks to you on it...in all logic...how could you put it down? short answer...you must.

Yea because what you get is not what you want and the board doesn't just bring spirits.... Sometimes they can bring worse.....

Perhaps the reason why spirits that do choose to come through are "evil" because they are not at rest like a "good" spirit would be -

A "good" spirit wouldn't be trying to break into the lacunae because there is no need to do so.

An "Evil" spirit is more likely to take advantage of a portal because they need assistance.

Lets say that spirits like to play games too. If you are not asking if they come from the Light and dismissing them if they do not, then who the hell knows. Being dead does not come with instant wisdom. Just dead. There are many assholes that are dead too! And some love to fuck your brains out. So make sure you use them first. :)

My only experience was when I was a kid and I just *knew* my cousin was pushing the planchette.

I haven't "played" with one in years, but I trust the folks on this site and will not mess with them myself.

lol i made that mistake. i remember the next day i walked into 3 shops in total, each time the lights went out. there may be a logical explanation behind it but it seemed quite odd from were i was coming from

I avoid them like the plague. I got one one year for my birthday. My best friend and I were playing with it in front of the fire place. After about a half hour of playing and swearing the other person was moving it the fire that had been going along nicely died along with the candles in the room. Granted I lived in a haunted house it was still enough to freak me out so that I never touched it again. Believe me or not just always be careful.

I haven't eeven seen this game. I've heard of it and I somewhat want to "play" with it a bit.

one time my friend had one at her house and i told her to get out cause i had this bad feeling about it and that night after i left something bad almost happened to her. her mom said a knife floated upstairs lucky my friend slamed the door as the knife got near her room when dawn came the knife was stuck in her door so I dont mess with them boards

No. Ouija boards do not contain simply evil spirts. An Ouija board is a door way to the spirt world. This doorway allows the spirts to communicate with the operator of the Ouija board. Because this doorway is to the spirt world there is no sure way of guessing weither the spirt youu come into contact with is good or evil. In some cases people have had a terrible experience with ouija boards but not all people have. This just simply teaches a leason. This is the leason

Things to remember about Ouija Boards:

1) If you are not willing to take a risk in what you are doing to not use the Ouija Board.
2) It is generaly not wise to use an Ouija Board alone.
3) NEVER burn a Ouija Board.
4) If you feel thoughts of suicide or homicide stop use imediately
5) Ouija Boards may or may not work for you.

as for my personal experience i have never had anything bad happen to me as a result of the ouija board. I do know how ever that i'm deffinately not allowed to bring one into my home under the rules of my parents. (they freak out easy)

I however do know that you should be very careful when messing around with the spirt world simply because you don't know what you are going to get.

I have run into some very malevolent spirts in the past but not from the board. So i do know that it can be dangerous to be in the presence of a spirt but that does not mean that all spirts are evil. Some just have unfinished business and cannot move on. and some are so bitter that they will now allow them selves to move on to the next place they need to go to move on.

Some spirts simply want their story heard. They want to tell someone what really happened. That does not mean people should fear ouija's boards. Just be careful and understand what can happen if things go wrong. Though if you know not of what you are doing it is best to just leave it alone.

Ouiji (feel free to attack my spelling there) Boards are just that, boards. Nothing mystical or magical about them. They're just mass produced alphabet cards, really. The communique with the passed on, freaky feelings, etc., have nothing to do with these toys. You should take a look at your self instead, as Captain Planet used to say (he doesn't say it anymore because I don't watch it anymore), The Power is Yours.

My brother and i tryed one once just arfter our nan died , nothing happened thank the gods . My mother went to a school that was a hospital in several wars and people contacted spirits and were terrified as a result , so i would not try again tc

Better be damned carefull with oiuja boards, they're like a cosmical game of russian roulette with a few more chambers and you can never know is watching from the other side, mess with the wrong powers and you will regret it sincerely!

Ouji's are not associated w/evil pure or other wise. It's then intent of the user. A Ouji board is just a game that has been linked to stories of bringing forth spirits. Spirits I don't not believe can just possess an inanimate (ms) object..Ppl are the condoit(ms).

I used to love to play with ouija boards years ago and had some pretty interesting experiences with them. It sounds to me like you are doing most of the "damage" your self by psyching yourself out.

Which is why it is so dangerous when (naive) teenagers 'play' around with one.

So right.. stupid teenagers who think it is a silly party game.... but it is not... he worst experince I had was when I invited some friends along to play..

the first hour went well, but when it was my friends turn to contact and ask it went so wrong... we could not get the spirit to leave her again, and she became extremely violent towards us..( she is usually one of those chipper people who likes every living being)

but luckily we sorted it out and I packed my oijaboard far far away...

All I know is that my experiences with a ouija board got continuously worse the more I used it. Everything was fine, but by the end I felt like I had hands all over my shoulders and like someone was grabbing my throat and choking me. I know that that was not something I asked for, or wanted to happen. I can not explain it, nor could my friend who was doing it with me.

The Ouija Board is *not* the only way to come in contact with spirits and is probably the worst way to come in contact with them. You never know what type of spirit will make a connection with you, and when you don't know what you're toying with, you don't know what may happen to you as a result...

Back in middle school there were a few of us that worked with a board. It told us to keep me away from drugs, and I've enver smoked.... drinked on the other hand. ;)

Even so, as many have stated, it's not just a toy.

You also should keep in mind that there's a great difference between evil, disgruntled, mischevious, angry, confused and just having a laugh at your expense.

Good and Evil are subjective. I would guess that cattle if they knew they were being bred to be slaughtered would see us as Evil.

I will say it again, evil is relative. They shouldn't be something we fear. But something to be careful with. They are not all bad, but they have the potential to be. And I do think it depends on the person....like I said it's like it can sense if you are fake or afraid, or if your intent is ill. And I do not think it should be marketed as a game really but oh well. When the thing tells me names and places and pulls certin memorys out of me it is remarkable, but...I can't say that im not a bit happy that people scoff at it...we don't need everyone messing with one.

I don't know enough about the boards to say ay or nae. I perfer tarot card or my pendulum. I also light meditation, it works wonders for you and you can meet strange things.

Ihave used the ouija before with my cousin.the lights went out a coldness came over the room .we asked how many spirits were there the ouija said 11. that was the last time i used it .but before that my experiences were normal questions and answers.

i have never had problems using it.... the last time thought i called it quits though just bacause and friends and i ended up talking to a "lost child" it would not leave so after ward we decided enough was enough

people should not use what they do not understand.

First it is not a toy. second the board works with a sprit most seem to have a negative attitude harm can come from this. we had to burn one that threatened to kill someone. again it's not a toy the board screamed when burned but we sent the spirt into a mouse

A group of us used one years ago, started off as a serious 'QUEST' you might say, but after a few goes, well it turned into a bit of a game.
Yeah, it's 'seemed' to work, but because it worked and we didn't really understand/believe it, the serious side went out the window and the games began.
If I could give any advice from the very limited experience I have with this subject,is firstly I would suggest you ask yourself your motivation, then I would suggest seeking someone out that actually knows what they are doing, getting a group of friends over can only lead to playtime.
Be open minded, be respectful, I would like to think there are spirits out there, and with the good there is always bad, disrespect might only give you grief.
It was an experience I will never forget, but one that I will not mess with again without an informed operator.

in my dealings with ouija boards we are messing with forces we cannot control unless you are sure what you are doing trust me dont mess with the board

there was a majorly haunted house in the village i live in, no one would live there for long and any one who did, was always scared to go home. after a while some one went into the house and searched it from top to bottom, and in the attic under some old rubbish was an upside down ouigi board with its pointer.

the theory down the local, was that the house its self was trying to communicate and that it was taking power from the board.

Okay, it's not that all spirits contacted on an ouija board are evil, it's that an ouija board is an unsafe doorway.
This is a swinging doorway, as in things can come out and things can come in. It is unsafe for the fact that whatever came out, doesn't have to go back.

My friends and I made our own (when we were 16) and blessed it and yes it worked.
A local girl had been kidnapped and we felt like we needed to find her.
It told us a location...we thought it was BS because it was vacant land on a main road, HOWEVER, two years later her body was found there.

I think what comes thru is what you believe will. To me it's all about the energy that the board absorbs or channels. The spirits that arrive are brought in by that energy. I've heard stories of both good & bad results. But as for benig "pure evil"? That is a real posibility. But one thing to keep in mind is that YOU are in control of the board, the board doesn't control you.

Not that many spirits are evil. Many can also be kind and friendly.

Ouija boards are usefull tools if one knows how to work with one.. but always be aware that you are inviting things in, when you do use them. It's always best to know what you are doing and not take the otherside for granted.

not all spirits contacted are evil but most are. i do not know why it is this way but i have grown accustomed to it it is possible to contact good spirits

I've tried it before but I was like a little kid bout 8yrs old with my riends.I'm not sure if it worked but they tried to scare the crap outa the little ones and I'm not sure if it was truely happening or if they were tricking us.But anyway they spoke funny and what not.

I have never played with the ouija board,but my grandmother used to keep one in her house and my sister and cousins used to play with it all the time. I just always got an odd feeling whenever i saw it. Something always told me not to touch it so i wouldn't. I don't think I was meant to mess with the ouija.

when using the board you are opening your mind to the spirit to communicate...if you are not stronge enough, and if the spirit is evil, you are going to mess big time...my freind did one once...she wasnt protected and she did it for fun...she ended up very bad in fact...

i have a couple storys that happened to me. once my cousin had one of my aunts boards and he did not like the type of spirit that came through on the board...well he burned it and threw it in the dumpster...a big NO NO...well it was on his front steps the next day. also my aunt is into that heavily and she uses a glass instead of the "pointer" don't recall what it is called well one night we were using it and we asked a question about my ex if he was a bad person because we believed he was into some bad spiritual things and the board just kept moving the glass over and over spelling out my ex's name and the word BAD. then it started spinning in circles on the board and it flew into the air and popped in mid air and broke. she has also been taken over by a couple spirits before and i did not like it. i haven't touched one since then. believe me its not just a toy to play with to ask if so and so likes you or if you're going to get a job you're going for. nope nope nope!

since then like i said i haven't! i couldn't even sleep without my friend in the same room with me that night lol! but i think i would still use a ouija board because it isn't all bad. my aunt had this one spirit on hers named david and he would play games and make the cup screech and he would even tell her to blow her cigarette smoke under the cup so he could have a drag and we could actually see the smoke suck in and poof back out inside the cup. he never harmed us but i would be wary if i did use it again.

You can get any kind of spirit on a ouija board. But there are more negative spirits around to be contacted so the chances are higher of getting a nagative one or one that is just plain in a bad mood.

Most ppl that die satisfied move on... it is the ones who refuse to let go of this lifetime that stay around. And many of those are pissed off. There are also demons and negative energy forces that can come through the board as well as positive ones. You can even contact angels/positive energy forces at times but again look at the motivation of each type of spirit...

Always be carefull and take precautions but remember the board is a tool - it is not good or evil in and of itself any more than a screwdriver is that can help someone build a house or build a bomb.

sounds interesting. nothing happened to my board i just got slightly pissed off that it didnt work. It obviously worked in someway because i couldnt sleep for the next two weeks

stewie is your board home made or from a store i'm just curious because once my sister had one from a store when we tried to use it all it would say is *f you* over and over we tried it a few times since and it does the same thing so we haven't used it. my aunts on the other hand always worked we did get some good spirits but the majority were evil and when they started taking over her body i quit using it with her. i also know that you are not supposed to use it by yourself or be under the influence of any type of drug even alcohol. and also it is really supposed to be at the least 2 men and 2 women using the board. why i don't know but maybe someone else would.

When i used the board which was only a few times. I can't say for sure if it was evil or not but the spirit did tell me that someone in the room was going to die and a few weeks later my dog died. Of natural causes.

So it kinda freaked me out.

i guess you never know which board will work better...but i still lean more towards home made ones. yh hers made me angry a couple times too. the spirit we talked to named david said he was my aunts brother in a past life...now they lie sometimes so we dont know about that. but we always knew him when we played. then there was on extremely evil spirit and we hardly ever kept using the board when we got him...well he started lying to us and trying to say he was david when he wasn't and we knew it wasn't david. so i guess you never know if it will be an evil spirit or not and some even lie to make you think they are good...i'm just really careful.

re: pandora. my cousin was using one once and it told her she was going to die the day after she graduated. it scared her so much that she dropped out of high school and to this day she has not graduated. it scared her so bad.

I, personally, am very afraid of using an ouija board (I am sure I didn't spell that right), because I have had experiences with spirits that took advantage of my lack of knowledge of the third realm and f***ed me over seriously.

re:blutdhurst s/p?. i don't know if you saw in an earlier post of mine...but we used to use a glass as the pointer for the letters on my aunts board and we asked a question about my ex because spiritually we thought he was bad news. well the board kept moving the glass spelling his name and then spelling bad. so then the cup flew into the air and it broke in mid air. it was crazy cause it didn't hit the wall or floor or anything it just popped in mid air.

that would be freaky. do you think it has ever made people kill other people? or possess them?

i believe it could posses them in a way it was trying to do that with my aunt but she was strong and it couldn't it started making her feel like she was choking once. and about killing other people...i'm pretty sure it is a possiblility. i think so anyway. that time my cousin burned that ouija board and threw it away it showed up on his steps the next day...well ever since then the place he lived at was creepy. my aunt and cousin were sleeping in the bed and a spirit tried to go into my aunt it pushed her down on the bed into the mattress and she couldn't scream or talk or ne thing. my cousin saw all of it but couldn't do ne thing. i think it was something in that board that was really pissed off. either that or my aunt is constantly in the wrong place at the wrong time lol :P

I have contacted through a Oija board, it can be quite settling on the nerves. It was a good conversation.

i believe its to close the spiritual door you've opened and leave the spirit happy maybe?...at least i'm pretty sure that is why. if i'm wrong someone else will probably know and post it.
