ON another site I frequent, we were discussing the alphabet of glyphs used by vampires-- mostly a trivial thing. Well, I've come to see there -is- such an artistic work in progress by various people, artist and scholar alike among us.

I was thinking of getting a letter tattooed, and thought I'd pass on the knowledge to those here, knowing it'll be put to good use.

HOWEEVER, if you plan on using these in any banner, etc, I'd recommend asking the artist, Rez first if it's alright.

Cool... I also found some Vampire Sigils in a form of Windows Forms so you can install it and use them in Word or similar. I didn't try it though:

Looks good. I would think it to be a little hard to work with them on a site. They are meant to be use free hand. As for LordOfNoctemAeternus's concern, I don't see too many using them. The same happen to the "Reiki" symbols when someone wanted to show them. Now they are all over the Net, and they are mostly the wrong ones! The general public have no clue - nor will they. Everything is still safe. And not open to discussion.

HOWEVER, if you'll go to the sigils page and to the alphabet, it clearly states:

"This alphabet and the sigils were created by Rez and Shishain. Feel free to go ahead and use it if you like."

My goodness-- how awful of me to spread such beautiful artwork-- and with their blessing, too!

Yes, Lord states all the copyright information, saying I've broken the law.

HOWEVER if he'd have read the -rest- of the website, the creator of the site is ALSO the person who -created- the alphabet.

In fact it also states that
"This alphabet and the sigils were created by Rez and Shishain. *Feel free to go ahead and use it if you like. *"

You can even (gasp!)
"Click Here to download all letters in one image"

My GOD-- how DARE the creators let us use these if we like them! How -dare- we use their creation and artwork with their permission!
