The other night JackofSpades83 and I tied on 555! We had played eachother once more before then and it was a really really long game, but this time we really did tie! I think they should award more than 7 favor each... that was one long game! Hehehe.

Actually, that was supposed to be the third in a best of three for the tie breaker. So i guess we still dont know who is better. Im not looking forward to that headache again though haha.

I have tied with two people I have played. One person I tied with a couple of times. It is a very long game when you tie. But, to tie, takes a lot of concentration.

Yep, I don't play 5's for this reason too... in one hour I can earn 100 favours from the blue dude. If I played three 20 minute games of 5's, I would only get 45 favour, providing I win. So hangman is my game... sorry folks.

I agree for the amount of time put in to 555 when it is a tie game you should be awarded more than 7
I had a tie game the other day and i was at it over an hour my eyes started to hurt , plus it kind of put off the game for a while

i love playing 5,s hangman drives me nuts as my coven freinds know. i think people play hang man because its a lot easyier, 5,s requires more skill, but in the end is more rewarding. but thats just my opinion.

however, i forgot to add i have never tied in a game.

Why? How would that make any sense at all?

It's half of the prize for winning a game. You win, you get 15, you lose, you get nothing. A tie is directly in between, so 7 favor goes to each player.

If it was any higher, it would be more rewarding to tie than it would be to win.

So you're saying you should receive a better prize for not winning than for winning?

While we're at it, let's start giving the losing team in the Super Bowl rings instead of the winners, and the losing team in the Stanley Cup finals the Cup.

Jack beat me hands down the first time we played, and only a fluke in the program prevented it repeating I'm sure.

When all is said and done, 5x5x5 is an advanced game of "Tic Tac Toe" (or Knots and Crosses if you're on the other side of the pond). The difficulty only lies with the confusion of extra levels. That means that once two players are familiar with the ways to win on the multi leveled board, and are watching each other close enough, tie games will become the rule not the exception.

One of the reasons I don't play 5xs to earn favour IS because of the length of time it takes to play one game...too much time for too little compensation...

At least you both got 7 favor!! lol It's not an easy game.

Congratulations to both players it takes concentration and dedication to play that game to a standstill. The game does take longer than a good hangman player needs to earn the same amount of favor but for those who dislike hangman it's a nice alternative. But since most games do not run that long I think the point value is fair on it, with 1/2 to each tied winner being just right.

I never knew you could tie in 5's. Sounds like it's a lot more time consuming than it should be, but I guess you have to get your favor some how.

Toiletdoc, I really disagree. Although spliting the points up is reasonable, if you put that much work into the game I think you should at least recieve 15 favor, because it takes a heck of a lot more concentration and good playing to tie than it does to win.

I agree with ToiletDuc why give more for a tie then a win. The time it takes to play has nothing to do with the points you win.

As I said before, you put so much more work into a tied game. We were really trying our hardest to beat eachother, it was our tie breaker game. It took a lot of concentration and I really got a bad headache just from the game. I think thats worth 15 favor.

i do know the feeling of working that hard and not winning but hey at least you get what was it like 7 favors

Ill admit it does take quite awhile for a good game. However, every now and then you run into someone who has never played before and you crush them three or four times in a row in 15 minutes. Thats some pretty quick points if you ask me. Maybe that sounds harsh but thats also what happened to me the first few times I played haha.
