((Like always I tend to ramble and fumble what I am trying to say so bare with me. Those who don't like reading long posts, run! hehe :) ))
I agree with many who have already posted that there are indeed sensitive attuned to psychic resonance’s of the past, future, or of objects and such.
I also agree with those who have said there are many who are simply "conning" whomever they are getting material goods from in exchange.
To echo one post above, if one has the sensitivity of the mind to be open to those realms, *shakes head* I cannot agree enough that if they had any self worth, they would not exploit it if they could in any way actively control it.
And that is the key. Active. Control.
Forgive me while I try and fuddle how to explain my view. I am of the belief that time is a human concept and what we know to be the past, present, future are likened to planes of existence that can and do occupy the same location as our perception of our physical selves. Also, that in the same way that some are sensitive to emotions, resonance’s of energies, energy manipulation ect that one can be sensitive to the ebbs and flows of "time" and can indeed on accident breach these "time" planes and gain insight on those levels of existence; however, due to the "nature of time" as we perceive it to be any image, feeling, or sound, must be translated, if you will, by our physical self’s means and abilities of associating our perception of a larger concept being shown into something explainable, understandable and comprehensible as an event/object/place etc familiar and recognizable to that individual. Following this vein, would give a hypothesis why one could indeed have the sensitivity to these "time" planes but the outcome, the telling of it etc is not 100%reliable.
For lack of better words and daring to be cliché: "It got lost in translation" of perception and the ability to perceive our world in its entirety.
Our physical body is I dare to say it, slower to evolve than many other creatures on this planet. It has taken many! generations to give our fingers the range of motion from our forefathers and they from their own for instance; yet, it is our brains that have evolved, in size, density, capacity at a phenomenal rate in relation to the rest of our body and our animal counterparts. Believing the above, it is not hard for me to ratify that within our species to develop extra sensory abilities to gain a better understanding/grasp of our world.
Thus saying the above. A person who was exceptionally gifted in this type of sensitivity would be plagued with things beyond their current level of full comprehension to relate; the ability itself would be largely unable to be controlled (erratic occurrences the norm rather than the exception) and would carry with it a gift of burden.
(For if you had the funny feeling that something bad was going to happen to a friend or a loved one but also the feeling that if it didn’t something worse would, what would you do? While conversely same situation, but no second feeling of something worse, would you give them warning at the expense of possibly losing them as a friend, or people wishing to lock you up?) If one was indeed gifted psychically in the realms of “time” I indeed believe it would be a gift of burden and would be held close to oneself rather than paraded around for entertainment, amusement or monetary material gain.
Again, I have babbled too much, fumbled too badly what I am trying to get across, so I’ll end it here. :)
