well since this is vampirerave related i am posting it here.
so what does everyone think about the new chatroom link that all the coven/house societies have now?

i persobally think it's good although i had already placed one in our coven as i have noticed a few other covens have done so as well,it is a nice litle add on i say!

whats your opinion on the new chatroom?

I personally think they are a great idea, we have one in the Guardian Wolf, and its not only useful, but makes it easier for all of us to get together.....

It is very nice and makes it easier to speak with one another and have meetings.

I love the idea of Coven Chatrooms. I find it to be a great addition.

I haven't used it yet but it looks pretty cool. Just a matter of getting everyone on at the same time I guess...

I like them. It's quicker to chat then having to wait for the messages in our inboxes.

i like it because you dont have to refreash the page to see what others have said..

one in my Coven and my Coven Master
has already stated that meetings will
be held there from now on. It should
be much easier than Yahell Confr.

It is also an addition that yahoo groups
can use making me wonder where Cancer
got it from. In our private group, Mystical
Enchantment, a chat room just got added
too. Obviously, something someone
figured out how to add and spread. It is
a great new feature all over. Lmao.

My Sire, Lord Yendor, had implemented one of these for us quite some time ago and we loved it! I think it's fantastic that every society has their own "little corner" to gather and commune. It will bring members closer together and is a faster way to pass on information, as opposed to a thread... Two thumbs up from me!

Haven't used it yet...but it sounds like i would be a pretty good idea to have around.

yep I agree on this one myself. Having some fun using the chat link. The inter-household chatroom is also a great feature. Chat with other Houses. This could open up for some interesting topics later.

I think it's perfect. Not everyone uses IM's liek msn or yahoo. It's a lot faster then forum posting and a better way for everyone to get to know eachother WooT!

I like the idea glad it was added :-) makes it easier to chat with people in a group setting

Looks like a great idea =) Had a bit of a play with it yesterday. Need to co-ordinate logging on times with the rest of the coven, lol.

Wow... something everyone agrees on... me included. It's a great addition, and long overdue... but, better late than never. VR just keeps getting better. :)

it is a fab new addition, we of the Templar Knights have one now, I just wish I could be online when everyone else is! damn evil British time... I'll talk to Americans when I'm sober yet!

lol...yes I have the same problem as I am also in the UK....but nice addition all the same.

our Coven Mistress has got the balance right as we have quite a few active Europeans in our coven.

Like most we had a chat room prior to this innovation, but nevertheless its a great idea.

someone has mention there is a way to chat with other houses /coven? I must apologies but I did nto see that possibility, other then that it s awonder
had a coven chat in the coven, but this one is nicer on th epact you can clear it when its to full lol and no ned to do anothe logg in once already log on vr.

well its about time. I cannot express how much this is going to rock, having a chat room in the coven.

I like it it is about time that this was added to VR and it will make it easier for covens to have meetings and talk to each in private.

great idea we already had one and it is alot quicker than messages VR gets better all the time to accomadate us.

Well, I like it because you can have everything posted on display for everyone to scroll up, as well as you can respond instantly unlike the forum...

i say its a brilaint idea and it works great.

I wish we had voice but im not complaining i am glad we have the chat room and all the emotions to go with it..

oh i wish we could have control on changing text color but once again im not complaining just wishing..

I absolutely love it!! It's so nice to be able to get all of the members together for a chat.

It's kind of nice to have the option, but I'm finding it's just as easy to use the forums - especially since the forums tend to keep people within a set guideline of discussion.

I am finding them to be quite interesting. The chat room is handier for just shooting the breeze I guess you could say. I however like the forums more.

Has anyone had a glitch in it yet? The first day it came out Salem and I were in it chatting and all of the sudden we couldn't see what we had typed anymore.

I do like the idea of a coven chat room. I think that it works really well as a message board if nothing else. I would like to take part in full on coven meetings and chats in the new chat room though.

I think thats great its nice and private and its easy for everyone to get to..sum times it was hard for me and a few other ppl to get into our old chatroom and its also nice itspart of VR as well..we had sum trouble when it first started but i think it was just caused by the nightly cleanup..its nice tho..im glad we have it..Thank u cancer :p

I think it's a good idea, as long as people make use of it. Gives the members of the coven to get to know one another a little easier than just messaging. By interacting, I think it can only make a house/coven stronger.

We already had one in the coven but I really like this one better. Cuz the colors match.

I like it. I think it is a great way for coven members spread out around the world to get to know each other in real time. I just hope that our coven can coordinate and be on all together! lol.

I don;t care for it personally...only because you have to scroll down to see messages posted, it doesn't do it automatically like yahoo or MSN does.

We had a offsight chat for our house and now no-one knows where to go for house chat night... I think it's a good idea tho.

I like the idea of the new Chatroom within the Societies, but has anyone else besides myself and CountessMoon noticed that the chat doesn't work in Internet Explorer?

I have Internet Explorer and it works fine for me.
Personally I like the new chat addition, I just wish more of our coven would get in there at the same time.

The vampbox is the 'chatroom'.

There is also the #vampires channel on mIRC.

I really like it. It is nice to be able to talk to the group all at once if we so wish it rather then having to send messages to each other one at a time and having to wait for a message back.

I think it is quite a cool idea, even though we have not quite gotten around to using extensively.

It will happen, though.

Im excited about it. We just got one and I think it will be a great way to have group interaction among coven members. We still need to figure out a time to meet up together though but I think it will happen soon.

I like the fact that we have one now, though there is the small issue of getting everyone on at once... but you're gonna have that on a site like this that has members logging in from all over the world...

I haven't been on much lately, but I was online long enough to try it out. At the time, the screen would jump if a smiley was used and I couldn't get the Private IM to work. Eh... All new things come with bugs. lol It's a good idea to have for all Societies. It is quicker than the Forum. However, I bet it gets crazy with some of the fuller Societies... -.-

i think the chatrooms are great, atleast now you can chat with your coven mates without having everyone see what you are talking about

I think that the coven chats were a good idea, a lot of people did not use the vamp box that much because it was something that they did not really think about, but now that they have their own private coven chat i think that a lot more people will use it because it will feel like it is their own personal chat...

I think it's a great add on to the coven/house pages. It would be even better if everyone in the coven/house could be on all at once and chat together.

not having to refresh the page to see relies is a distinct advantage - but on the other hand, it doesn't earn you any pages to help your status. still, can't have it both ways can you?
