Ok I was watching these two little boys for a week, man they were hell on wheels.. LOL I mean boys being boys and brothers to top it off, fighting and just cannot breathe the same air, Moments LOL
I watched this little girl she was so calm and full of optimism and yet had this sense of TOTAL Control "air" about her...yet when she wanted a parent she wanted one shaking crying .. I would feel terrible.
OK with that all said, I now am at this very moment watching the 2 boys and the 1 little. OMG! It is like 3 totally different children from how they behaved the last time I had them. The boys with out her and the little girl without them.
OK My question is Do you feel / believe that we all have a person or even persons whom may keep us balanced?
I know that alot of people do believe that when your around a certain person that your Aura color changes or I say that their mood changes or their actions.
My question is DO you believe or what are your thoughts on .... we have a person or peole that are in our lives for us to Balance..????
I hope I make sense.
No Dabbler .. LOL
I mean exactly what I said "A person whom can cause Balance* just like we have guardian angels, do we have someone that is the only person that can Balance another and are they born to cross your path?
As to say, what if so and so had never met so and so ..... Would they be in prison or a killer or would they be fine and balanced anyway.
Is it a person who helps us become balanced or do you feel it is something different??
Like a base does to acids PH. If a corrosive person is around a sensitive person they are likely to cause a reaction in that persons social chemistry.. if a person that has some base properties they would likely keep the corrosive person from "shedding" on others. This works in all three catagories, physical (some are motivators for relaxation, or activity)
mental (a teacher/instructor) and spriritual.
Ok yes I agree with the science lesson and all .... yet are you saying we have many people who can balance us and if so why many and not just one.
Myself I know I can balance myself yet, there is one other that can also balance me and not any one else yet LOL so again,
Is one born to be the balance of another ?
I would make a case that it depends on the situation, and the elements of the group the moderate personality is part of. As well as the co-operation of the group. If it is on one person to balance a group then it is bound to produce a false sense of function.. some mistake lack of interaction as a sign of co-operation. So unless their is clear group dynamics it would be hard to be certain that one persons presence is the cause of balanced interaction. Some have skills that help them focus and form groups. Yet they may have a varied group and the same skills may not apply.
I am reminded, there are also those that strive to unsettle others that work for balance.
So you are leaning toward the whole science/deduction *explanation* of a persons Balance.
Well I believe that just ONE Certain person is born to bring balance to ONE Certain Individual, and if they do not have that person to keep them balanced ... Well this is where we get serial killers and Hitler and just too many UNBALANCED people to mention .
I believe that there is just ONE person in our lifes that give us balance as some believe that Christ died for many to save them from sin..
Ok I hope that makes sense to ya or everyone .
I don't know I mean people tend to act differently around differant people all the time. Even though they may think there not they really are.
yes i do think some people keep us balanced. As i am in a D/s relationship and without it i am a total nut case. I get stressed very easily and do crazy thing. If it wasnt for Roger keeping me focused and together i think i would have lost it along time ago.
you mean someone who stablizes you if you are not balanced? Yeah I do believe that. I called my grandmother for years my rock. She would get me thru it all emotionally and set me straight. Since then well not many can balance me with a quickness but myself.
I am not sure I believe that there is just ONE person born that helps us to keep balance in our lives, I think most of us however can say that certain people that we are connected to have that power over us and they are very few. I have someone in my life that has the power to calm me just by hearing their voice.
I guess I never believed it possible to have more then one to balance me. lol cool I find that neat that there is a thought pattern as such.
I ever thought there was more than one out there. Interesting view.:)
Warrior,
I agree very much that people come into our lives, and their energies can balance us out. Allowing us to find a stable medium from which to grow. When the time comes that our lives are to shift and new lessons are to be learned, we must find this balance for ourselves.
Going from elder, to student, to seeker, to student, to elder all over again when we are in our respective patterns. Wonderful post.
There are catylst in our lives as well. There are those that we are more comfortable with.. the ones that keep us at our best.. I can see how one person comes along that neither excites us or bores us, a person it is good to just be around even if there is no interaction.
I don't believe in a lot of things, but I believe that there is a person to balance another. I'm not sure what it is, maybe its brainwaves, but I have someone who no matter what mood I'm in, makes me serene and happy.
i think there are those out there that "balance" our lives so to speak, they are the ones that perhaps have a calming effect on us when we get stressed out, more often then not those that seem to balance us are those that have a personality opposite our own, if your high strung the one that may balance you would be someone with a more layed back demeanor. and so on.
Yes I do believe that to be true. as having an 11 year who is so full of energy when heplays with another friend they do balance each other as well as me and my mate to with each other
There are other things that have the same effect as people have on use as well actual items or substances, even activity can cause a distraction to occure when something that would lean us in the aggravated area would normally catch our eye, with a certain person or thing in the equation then it is cancelled out as a factor that we let set our scene.
I believe that one person can keep another one balanced. I think the two people would be a like in many ways but also different in many ways so in short they would balance the other out.
Yes I definitely believe you can have someone in your live that balances you, that grounds you say, and also that together you can balance out each other.
I think that balance only works in small numbers. Group chemisty is a lot more dynamic and not as controlable.
There is always someone to balance someone. Through watching the two boys, you have learnt patience and control. The little girl seems like she is so use to their behavoir that she can overlook it and be calm. I would say situations sometimes teaches us more then balance...but teaches us also as I have said above patience and the balance within our own selves to deal with the situation.
i believe there is someone out there that balances another. maybe more then one but usually just that one that calms and refocuses us. that is the person we turn to when we feel we have lost control or need a moment to step back.
I do believe that certain people can balance out another person. much like a reaction to energy of another. the ups and downs of feelings emtions and logical understanding. but to be balanced is to be incomfort within ones self. yet there are others that can topple this. man meet a few that I wanted to , well I will say that they made me nuts.
There is a ying and yang everywhere for everyone.
Without balance there would be no life and many would simple run harvoc then end up in total lost and chaos
It is a need and a vital one, most of the time till we find out "other self" our ying or yang we are empty or mssing something and in constant quest causing either trouble or simply being lost.
So yes we all need one and have one somewhere.
Yes I believe there is someone for everyone. Cryingmist summed it up perfectly with the ying/yang image.
For instance, i know that i'm extremely independent, zany and can look before i leap but he's a very stabalising influence who doesn't stop me from doing what i want to do, but i does make me think about my actions and possible consequences.
Well, my friend Shenay says that I'm like that for her. That I keep her... calm, and steady, like I'm her anchor to sanity. But, I'm not sure if I have anyone like that...
I do know, that when certain people are around me at the same time, things go unbalanced. Like, me and my brother used to get along perfectly together, but whenever my parents were around, we'd fight like crazy. Then I'm totally fine around my mom when it's just us, but whenever my dad is there she gets mad at me for every little thing.
Now that I think about it, I did have someone like that. Her name was Nicole, and whenever I was around her I would just relax. All my stress would just disappear.
Yes, I feel that there is another person out there that is to balance each of us. This is shown among your friends and spouse or someone else along the path of your life.
There are also other areas that can be used as well for balance.
I know for me some people help keep me balanced, and it is true that people will act differently around others.
I suppose that there could be someone else out there to balance us out. But I would rather be around people that are like me you know? I wouldn't want to spend all my time with someone who was completely opposite from me. While on the same side I wouldn't want to spend time with someone who is exactly like me either..
PostInsanity It can be someone exctly like you or totally different, the thing is that *THEY* that 1 certain 1 can have you laughing in like a few second where you were ready to kill... (not literally) or maybe ...
The Point is this 1 and only 1 is the total BALANCE for you.
Yes, there are other whom cross our path and yet there is still only the 1 who can make it all work ...
Thank you..
The stance on only one person being able to do this for a person sounds like a set up for distress, what about when that person is not present, could it be a trait that others are likely to have that calms or distracts you from annoying things you would be set off by? What about the opposite way, their are people who set us off balance as well, I see more people that do that in my life and the life of my friends.
I am not quite there with the all alone idea. I only say this because I think part of what you say is spot on and that is to strive to make yourself strong enough to be able to rely upon yourself. Still, there are people that do offer support, peace of mind, comfort, guidance and protection. That, is balance. There will be times in life when the obstacle ahead really does outweigh your capabilities -- so? You must balance the scale and that is when you are not alone.
To place such a role on a person, is likely to exaust them. If you count on them for that balance.
I dint say rely on a person constantly, i said the opposite. In addition I said there was nothing wring with help here and there to keep our balance. It's called symbiosis. Some people it works for, and maybe not so well for others. that's reasonable.
I was going for the down side potential to placing to much expectation on one person, it is a good thing to identify a few people in our lives that can balance us out.
As i stated before my cousin does help balance me out and i believe that i balance him as well as sometimes he can be overly cautious, too reserved and try's to plan absolutley everything, not than i'm saying that a bad thing, he just goes over the top sometimes so i think the balance goes vise versa as well:)
But i do agree that you can't absolutley reply on that one person as well and in the end you do have to learn from your own mistakes. It's all just a matter of keep that balance within yourself as well.
My viewpoint on Balance is that when a person only believes that just one "person" can balance us, that gives them more of a reason to feel unstable which isn't true at all. There are many people in our lives we will cross paths with that we will say...love in different levels, that will bring about what feels like self balance. In actuality, we are beings that are connected to one another, even those we feel we have nothing about them to connect to. We're just not trying hard enough to seek that out. Just one person to balance us out, is nonsense, when we are living in a world of many. No one is doomed to stay unbalanced simply because they don't have a certain thing or person to make them feel as such.
When you've had a hard day and are stressed to the hilt and maybe one person you meet on the bus home gifts you with a huge smile, that can be enough to uplift or balance.
Likewise, a friend or loved one.
I think we find what we need in this department from alot of people rather than just one.
I would suppose that there could be people who keep us "sane".
For some it might be friends and loved ones who they can trust and confide...... For others, it could be a Leader within their Church, Sect or Coven.....or a Health professional.
We relate to all people differently and for different reasons. Confiding and talking to each person gives us different perspectives.
And there is always venting--and letting out frustrations. That does it for me every once in a while.
I do believe we share energy that makes all of us balance one whole household could be in a bad mood and you walk in with a smile and in just 20 minutes you can change the whole mood.
I for one believe there are those who help keep the balance in the world. I for one would be lost without my anchor...she has helped me in so many ways...
I know I am completely different if I am not around my husband. I am always really loving, calm -cough- and other things lol not going there. When I am not around him I completely change into this cynical bitch and I know it too.
Yes I agree ...that I am lost without my anchor, I mena it may not be everyday they are with me yet when they are I am so balance and totally confident in myself etc.. that I manange and can handle anything that comes my way, NOT.. that I cannot keep myself in a certain balance, MYanchor keeps me in total balance it is weird...
So Are these people like born to just balance the world in general or one for every indivual to have just that 1 person to balance them completely, so that the world is balanced ...?? What do you guys think?
Wow Leapard ...
"My viewpoint on Balance is that when a person only believes that just one "person" can balance us, that gives them more of a reason to feel unstable which isn't true at all. So well said.
I do believe that there is a person out there meant to balance each of us out.
I think there are different types of personalities for people in our lives. No one less important than another, yet, there are times when the one person you might normally turn to is just not quite enough. I don;t think these people were put here for me or it was predetermined that we would be in the other's life -- rather, are personalities acted as there own magnets and the compass we use to find the people we keep company with.
I like how you put that CryingMist, makes sense to me.. and WOW dabbler LOL I liked what you said also food for thought thank you... :)
Definitely. Different people affect us in different ways;; some balance us, some unbalance us, and some don't affect our balance.
I do feel that some people are very easily influenced by other people in every aspect but there is a more common occurance between lovers, or close friends, or family...certain people in our lived that bring out the best/worst in us.
I have met random strangers that I simply felt as though something about us clashed for sure...an overwhelming feeling of simply NOT liking that person or what have you...
Sounds to me like you are speaking of a soul mate. When I learned about this I did not learn it was necessarily a male or a female object of affection, but someone who became in harmony with your spiritual journey. You blend and enhance each other and sometimes it is the opposite sex and sometimes it is not. Some times it is someone you are considering for a mate but it isn't always meant to go that way in a particular lifetime if you meet at all. Their influence is harmony, balance but in some cases for one or the other they move on. In the body we are fallible and sometimes, just my opinion, when we are out of the body that can be also the case at lower levels of spiritual growth. For those who have more mainstream views of things this will make no sense but I have been taught this sort of thing for over 40 years in the circles I traveled by physical teachers as well as channeled.
I agree that there are certain people who will alter out moods just by being in their presence. It could be a clashing of sorts, or on rarer occasion it could be someone who's energies are perhaps closer to being in sync with your own.
A profound question in the least.
Most people are really sensitive to the energies around them. When a peorson is introduced that has a claming effect the group usually responds by adopting the calming energies.
I would have to disagree. I have never had someone balance me out whether in an emotional way or a spiritual way. I believe you can balance yourself out by looking from a distance at a problem and going from there.
I guess it depends on the person or persons that they believe in that.
I can see if it is more a mentor thing but not of balance of emotions.
For you are the only one who can let some steal your joy. It is a choice to whether you realize it consciously or unconsciously.
No intentions of insulting anyone it is just my opinion.
Then how do you explain the psychological phenomenon of group mind (or mentality). As humans we are all succeptable to those energies that surround us.
rajakitty so your saying that there is no one person whom you connect with or that you are at total ease with being around? wow...
I feel it could be a soul mate they are the ones whom balance a person and connect with them no matter what the situation .. that makes sense to me. They can be anyone and as was said it does not have to be like a partner in your life yet a family member or even a friend.. I feel you know when they are your soul mate cause you are balanced or connected in some calming and balanced way .. hope that made sense .. LOL
well I have read everyones postings and we all have a view on this, yet I still believe that there is 1 person that balance us, I mean maybe there is 1 person for everyone in the world that is here to balance us.
For example take a killing machine assasin who says what some have posted that *no* there is not 1 person to balance us, and then one day he is to do a job and another person or child crosses their path and now they begin to question themselves or feel no need to continue with the job they are on. to me they have cause a new balance in this person and they are now thinking differently ..... therefore finding a Balance they had not ever had before...
I just strongly believe that there is 1 whether it be considered a soul mate or not yet they do balance 1 other person out in life.... Thanks for all your opinions and thoughts on this they are welcomed and very interesting on how everyone thinks or believes...
well i do think there are people and animals that balance us in reality even yourself is a balance in the universe
It does indeed sound like more of a soul mate situation as the other is lost without them...however we can have many soul mates..and they all play different roles in our lives..but I do believe they help to balance us in emotional and social settings.
It’s human nature to gravitate towards one another to gain the support, solace and praise that we all consciously or subconsciously desire and need as human beings. Mirroring positive strengths that we find in others is a valuable process and to me it’s a vital aspect within our social and developmental learning.
Personally I believe myself to be a self-aware, independent, reflective person with a strong sense of efficacy and ability to self-regulate in terms of my motivation, emotional state, thought process and patterns of behavior. However, I am also honored to have an individual within my life that helps me to re-evaluate my thoughts and views and enables me see and understand things from another perspective. To me that’s priceless and I’m a better person for it ;)
So, would it be safe to agree that any positive influence in our life can be viewed as adding balance? Can we ever have too much balance?
Absolutely CryingDutchess that and what can also be considered negative influences … I believe it’s extremely important to experience pain, suffering, loss and confusion as much as it is to feel joy, happiness and a sense of direction in life. They compliment one another and enable us to truly understand and appreciate life and all it has to offer and it is that which provides the balance within our lives. Equilibrium is quintessential in terms of a healthy mind that dictates our wellbeing.
Oh and there is or should be no shame in admitting that sometimes we need help to do that :)
I agree that Equilibrium plays a major part in our lives and to our very health and well being as well. I feel I am balanced yet I do admit I need to have some balance from another from time to time, it is natural in order to stay aware and not to lose your mind LOL
Exactly if we just listened to ourselves we would surly lose our minds ;P
Sometimes need to listen to the words of wisdom from others who have the ability to be objective ... lmao
I agree with the idea of our soul mate balancing us out. I also feel that we do connect with the energies around us. Sometimes I know that my mood has been affected just by being around the negative energy where I work. I can be in the best mood and once I walk in that door, I feel it pouring out of me. I really think it totally depends on who is there. I have also seen my great mood swing the mood positive for some of the people I work with. I do believe we are all connected.
i very much believe people balance us...
my mother is the yin to my yang! (so to speak) we are opposite in certain things, but we balance eachother out...
is that kinda what you mean?
Of course there are people who balance eash other! Anytime you have ever felt more "complete" around someone (it need not be a lover, could be a relative ar a friend) that person balances you.
My best friend balances me to the point people consider us darkness and light - I call her the Ying to my Yang.. Not to say that I am completely dark while she is completely light - but rather that when a situation calls for a little moire forcefull or demanding approach - I am better suited to it and can help her with that course of action and when things need to be handled in a gentler way I will depend upon her insight to lead me on the correct path.
family would be a good balance and friends would be a bad balance. but people all around us on the streets would play a part too. there feeling would role off them onto us as well. they also say that spirits also effect our balance as well. because they are all around us
Yes i believe there are certain people that can balance u. If u are having a bad day or stressed about something there are people that can help to raise your spirits and make u feel better
I feel that there most likely is more than one that does that balancing for each of us.
I mean in some ways one person might do better with us than another but that other might do better in a different area.
Overall though i do believe that certain people can balance out others and i think it is pretty cool that they can do that.
I'd hate to narrow it down and say that there's only one person that could bring this kind of peace, but I personally have had 1 person in my life for past 9 years that does that for me. She is my voice of reason , the one that helps me find ground zero when everything seems to be chaos. Maybe different people affect us that way to varying degrees?
I also had someone in my life that had the complete opposite effect but seemed just as vital to my existence. With him I embraced everything dark and twisted about myself, and somehow thought I was the better for it. It was the sort of peace that exists inside madness. It all connects in my head, not sure if I managed to make it connect here, though, lol.
I agree I believe it is possible to have more then one other half to balance us whether it is a friend or a lover.
I think there is someone out there that balances everyone. I mean people that seem totally opposite in how they act but are always around each other any way. I also believe that your attitude, mood, behavior...whatever, will change when you're around a certain person because you are being more cautious or trying to make a certain impression on that person, like you actually care about what that person thinks about you. But with kids as young as what you've described...I am not so sure that their acting different has anything to do with worrying about what kind of impression they will make on the other, so maybe there is more to it.
yes i feel that there are people that can keep us in line ither from we dont want them to worry bout us or some other reason but there is always one peson that will keep someone in line always
I due believe that people can balance each other. I was once used to balance an ex's magical abilities to keep him in check cause he was going to fast. So I believe it is possible to balance and affect other people. I believe you can have balancing factors as easily as finding triggers that cause you to become unbalanced or even violent. Combination can be both good and bad.
I belive that your soul mate is the person who balances you out perfectly. Like yin and yang. Everything fits. And when you've met them and then they aren't there anymore, something weird happens. You feels less than whole, and when you get lonely it can be ten times worse than it ever was.
I absolutely believe in external 'helpers' which are actually perhaps activated by our DNA and minds and attach themselves to us when we are born to assist us with our lives. Barring that these entities have issues of their own, they should help but it has been my experience that some of them do have issues and can cause outbursts in kids - especially during adolescence.
Just my thought on that....
JMC
I believe that we all have people that help us remain balanced. There is one person in my life who cares for me and looks out for me and he is the one person that allows me to truly relax. I think there will always be some people that make us uncomfortable and those that will do thoe opposite
Warrior I agree that 1 just one person does balance us out completely and to me that would be our Soulmate, they are like the mirror image half of us that completes us. So yes 1 person it is true, Soure we have others who may come and go in our lives that balance us out yet , not quite perfectly LOL But, once you meet your soul mate you know it is the total calmness and relaxed, even flow feeling that just overcomes you when they are with you or around you or even on the phone and in a letter they can balance your worst day no matter what the problem is. just my opinion is all..
lmao ok yes I do believe I have a person who keeps me balanced and that would be my BF he is always there when I need him no matter what he could be extremely busy if he knows something is wrong he will stop what he is doing and wont leave untill he knows I feel ok and that is something that no one has ever done for me he is the best thing to ever happen to me. so yes in order for me to keep balance in my life and keep me from loosing my mind I need him.
I honestly do not believe that it is just one single person as there are many who can balance me out...If I am having a bad day they can help me out of depression or going totally insane.
However, there are some who are closer to us then others. For some that may be the only one who is around them that can do it but do not believe it would be the only one with whom they can find balance with.
I know I have several people / things that help me balance out yet there is only 1 that makes me completly balanced on all levels of my life and without that person I am only partially balanced. Some say it is our soulmate, and it may well be that. I mean a soulmate is not one who has to be your spouse / other half it could be a friend or someone else . Yet I do believe that just 1 person can balance us to the level of total completness you could say, no matter what the circumstance that 1 person makes it all make sense .
Grant it there are other things and people that we connect with and are balance to a certain degree, yet I feel just 1 certain one does it all, at least for me .
More recently, the term "balance" has come to refer to a balance of power between multiple opposing forces. Lack of balance (of power) is generally considered to cause aggression by stronger forces towards weaker forces less capable of defending themselves. In the real world, unbalanced stronger forces tend to portray themselves as balanced, and use media controls to downplay this, as well as prevent weaker forces from coming together to achieve a new balance of power. In constructed worlds, such as in video gaming, where nearly all-powerful corporate interests strive to maintain a balance of power among players, players tend to be extremely vocal about what they see as unbalanced mechanics, providing the unbalance negatively affects them. And though the strong and unbalanced, or "overpowered" players commonly are vigorous in denial of any lack of balance, the comparative media equality among all player brings change quickly, to further a sense of balance.
WOW! That was alot to take in Rayvn, and it is true as to universal balance. I feel though as individuals we have 1 person, maybe it is the soulmate, maybe a mentor, yet there is one who does keep us in total balance where others may only keep us in a certain degree of balance.
That one person is who you turn to no matter what and need no matter what even iff another has calmed you or balanced you to a certain degree, you still need that 1 person to do a total balance of yourself.
I mean when people train for things sure they can have balance within yet, then that one person comes and makes the balance solid and total as a whole for you to focus or whatever it is you need in your life or at that point and time.
Some may say it is our consciences, or our parents teachings, or morals instilled in us, who knows I know that 1 person in my life which has been a constant balance in my life since I can remember is the only one who can keep me from killing someone or crying or anything that is harmful and when I need that balance for everything that is with in me.
So who knows maybe it is just how I look at it . after all we are all different.
warrior what you say makes sense to me and I am the same as for as having 1 person that does balance me totally even though others may balance me in other areas just 1 does it for me totally.. I have enjoyed your thread, thank you.
thanks and many may believe diffewrently and that is ok cause we are all different individuals with different beliefs and thinking, yet it is nice to see some same minded people as myself.
i think that every one has at least 1 person in this world that can calm them down, for me it's my brother, for my sister it's me, for my friend it's her cousin, and when your born into the family then your bound to cross paths sooner or later, i belive that that person will be someone in your family
i hope what i said makes since lol
yes we all have a balance person ,its like yen and yang or the elements I am water and my husband is fire we keep each other in balance . without balance we have Chaos.
If you and your husband balance each other then it should be safe to assume that if anything happened to either of you, there would be an imbalance as the result.
How would this imbalance manifest? When a couple divorce or separate, does it mean they didn't present a balance together? How can we measure this "balance" or demonstrate the imbalance in its absence?
To be perfectly honest, I think this whole idea of balance is a persistent but bankrupt concept. So I'll ask you this; what would you present to demonstrate that I'm wrong?
Lady Snow, Yes i would agree with ya there, with out the balancing off each othet there is chaos.
I've only been posting here a very short time. But in that time I've noted a persistent tendency for people to simply ignore invitations to offer demonstrable explanations, evidence or logical points of discussion when someone disagrees with their emotionally-held beliefs.
So I'm curious; does anyone here believe that blind assertions offer any credible potential? Can we vote our reality into existence, or are we better off simply accepting reality, even when it doesn't provide the concepts we wish to be true?
I still don't see this "balance" people insist upon. I see blind assertion following blind assertion and complete avoidance of any request to logically explain or demonstrate the existence of this proclaimed "balance".
If it's real, it shouldn't be all that difficult to support in discussion, should it?
For what it's worth, I used to believe in the same kinds of things. I stopped believing when it was demonstrated to me that these things are just wishful thinking. This occurred in such a manner that it changed my entire life, and not at all for the better. The only good that came out of it was the mental discipline to accept reality, even when it doesn't serve my desires.
So show me the evidence. Show me the logic. I'd love to think we had the assurance of some mystical "balance" but I simply see nothing to support the idea. And when I ask those who proclaim that it's true to support it, they seem to post around me, taking a wide berth.
Does that mean I'm seen as a threat to their hopes and desires and if they actually engaged in discussion, they might end up facing a reality they like less than the one they've attempted to manufacture?
I'm interested not just to know what people believe, but why they believe it. What support is there for such ideas?
I think so. However I think the people who do balance us out are those whose souls are intertwined with ours.
e.g. if reincarnation were possible their souls and ours would be reincarnated to the same place or friends again.
A big yes. I notice how I feel around one friend (the talker) talk all night long. Another will hear what you have to say. So one for talks, one for letting it all out. Both needed and keeps you balanced. So one can balance others.
That is a good point, I have several friend like that, the ones that come to mind themost are my twin friends, oneis very out going while the other is very laid back they compliment eachs other personality perfectly
I have always believed that there is someone out there that balances life for me.
I guess you can call the soul mates. Without them you don't feel complete. Unbalanced if you will.
