For me I joined because i like Vampires (of course)...But also to meet new and different people with similar Interests as me.......
I think this is one of the best sites I have been on.....The people here Like Cancer...Moreish...Emerald....etc Make you feel welcome.....So Thanx again Cancer for designing this site.....

I echo what you said, lovely Maiden. My experience has proved more than I expected.

As I was looking for vampire gathering sites, I happened upon this one first. Something about the name, and the feeling that came upon me when I entered it initially told me to stay.
I already feel I've a few friends here, just in hte way we chatter back and forth in hte forums, and I really do feel at home-- moreso even than another site I've part of for nearly 4 years now.
Perhaps this will lead me to the Mate of my dreams, or at least the greatest companion possible-- who's to say.
I just know I'm happy here, conversing, critiquing jewelry and articles and everything else. it's definately a good pathway to prod about on.

I stumbled across the site while searching for nightclubs in my area.

I liked the look of the site, so I started browsing. The content caught my eye, and then I started going through profiles.

"HOLY SHIT! These people ... THESE PEOPLE ... YAY!"

I found a new place to hang out. :)

I have thoroughly enjoyed myself here, and have enjoyed the friendships I am learning as well.

i had a link to the old thekindred site and it brought me here, and when i saw that it had lists of books and movies i decided to make a profile and stick around. Im glad i did as ive found alot of new stuff i hadnt known existed.

Mmm, well fer me joining this site is just a way of life....a natural succession of events leading from meeting my friends in #Vampires. Its like a family, travelling around together heh.. It is always so good to met new and wonderful people on here and bless ya all~~

I first visited here to view Moreish's profile, then was later pointed here for Crazywolf's profile, and then decided to join.
I'm glad I did, as I get to meet new people, and catch up with some old friends.

I myself stumbled on the site by a link from another vampire oriented website. Like many others, a warm inviting feeling came over me, I knew this was home. I have met so many wonderful and like minded people here, it's good to let down the masquerade and be one's self even if only for a little while.

i found this website after i took a test to see what clan i was in there was a cool looking vampire picture at the top and bieng the inqusitive person i am i decided to click it and i ended up here. pretty happy i did tough. thanks for the welcome by the way : - D

I was looking for a vampire site that had information on the subject and other people to talk to. Boy did I ever find it.

The first minute I was browsing this site my heart told me that we found home.

Cancer told me all about his new project of his so I decided t come check it out. I liked the format, liked the people so I decided to park my arse for a bit. :)

I like vampires(too much?) so it was ideal and meetin new people with similair intrest's is always a bonus

I wasn't quite sure what Cancer had up his sleeve this time but i was certain if he was the one doing it ... it had to be good... i was hooked not long after visiting here and well i'm here to stay now :P

the reason i joined is because i waas stired of some of the joke sites out there that say there vampyre sites are the best well i have friends and ppl i have more in common with then on any other sites

I didn't join this site coz i like vampires... tho i do like them. I joined just because it was a chance to meet new people.

I love vampires and the dark goth scen and I neded a place to post poetry and hear what people had to say and now im hocked

Because I was struggling in my life, and I couldnt be true to people and reveal this part of myself...and so I shut off completely from people...then I found this site and saw that there were other TRUE vampires here, and decided to give it a shot and see if it was possible to meet similar people and it was..so I'm not feeling quite so alone anymore

And I'm yet another one who got the tip on #Vampires. I stay because of the cool and likeminded people here.

I joined because I feel a certain kinship to vampires and I love anything to do with them...whether it is reading about them, or watching movies with vamps in it...there is just something about vamps that draws my attention and holds me in their spell

I found my way here though site searching and when i found my way i looked into it more and liked what i saw.

a friend of mine is a member hear (TasteOfHate) and i just decided to make an account hear aswell. on another site, i rp as a Lead Vampire. so i just thought, why not?

I was told about this site by Wraith. He told me about his Gray Matters thread, and because of how he thinks, I looked it up. Then I started to look at others, found humor AND intelligence (with the occasional post of stupidity, but, hell, that's gonna be everywhere) liked what I saw, so I stayed. I have "met" some wonderful individuals here, and learned a lot along the way! So, to quote Gretchen Wilson, "I'm here for the party, and I ain't leavin' til you throw me out!"
