Well I have given this a lot of thought over the last few days and I would really like everyone’s input.
I believe that there is no such thing as coincidence, and that everything happens for a reason. Like the people that we meet. Have you ever met someone, and you are both so in tune with each other, it’s like you have met before, but just don’t remember it? I think this falls under the category of fate, but that is just my opinion.

My belief has always been that each person that touches your life is a stepping stone, some have a great effect on your life and others just help you alone your way. But the ones that are truly they have some higher purpose. I have met two people in my life that are like that. Now my belief in soul mates are a bit different, I don’t think it has to be you mate, I think it can just be another person a close friend , some one that makes you complete on a different level


So I just wanted to hear your opinions on this

When you say "you're so in tune it's like you have met before" do you mean that it's almost like that person is familiar to you even though you've never actually met? I do believe that you can be destined to be friends with someone, not that you have to be soul mates just because you are.

Mediums and Spiritualist have said, those that we meet in this life, we have had a connection with them in our previous life or lives.

I have friends that we finish each other sentences.
It is like tho like we were sisters at one time.

I believe we all met for a reason...to learn from each other, or to be there for them.

another situation is my friend cheryl we met randomly and have been kind of like soul mates... not lovers or such. but we sometimes know what each other is thinking , finish each others sentences and otther things but its a long list

Signs are all around us. People, places, situations are all signs and we must just step back and look at them to know if we are on the right path.

A lot o' people don't realize what's really going on. They view life as a bunch o' unconnected incidents 'n things. They don't realize that there's this, like, lattice o' coincidence that lays on top o' everything. Give you an example; show you what I mean: suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, "plate," or "shrimp," or "plate o' shrimp" out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconsciousness.

Well sis you know how I feel on this one. lol.

I do believe that we all have someone else out there that we are soul mates with or even just someone that we are to learn from. When I say soul mates, I do not just mean the ones that we are married to. Llike you I do believe that our souls mate with different individuals that are meant for us. I do believe as well that there are those that we are predestined to meet in our lives. Maybe they are from a past life or lives or they are on the same journey that we are on now.

I dont think that theres a rhyme or reason for things out there. I just take it all as it comes. I definitely met my "twin" 7 years ago & its been great. When we were in the same state we were inseparable. Nothing in this life is coincidence i think. Like others have said, if we would just look for the signs then we would see it out there.

LDR & wolfy, you both bring up a very good point. Sometimes are eyes are not open to see what is out there. But we seem to find our paths crossing with different beings and creatures that somehow accent what we are. Like you said Wolfy about your "twin". And I would agree that there is not a specific rhyme or reason to it other then the fact that its just supposed to happen.

I have had this very thing happen often throughout my life. I have met numerous people that i feel i know or have met before.

Yes, I do believe that I've crossed paths with a few people in my life. You have this instant chemistry and the feeling you've known them your whole life, even though you may have just met.

It's funny how sometimes you are drawn to people that you don't know, as though you OUGHT to know them. I have found that in places where I work. I am just drawn to certain people, and lo and behold these are the ones who I have the most in common with, and who I can learn from.
How much they can learn from ME is another matter, lol.

I totally believe that. There's so many different people in this world, it's illogical to think that we're all competely different and don't share traits.

I actually feel that past lives also have something to do with it...a kind of predestination for the soul - a true soulmate that you meet in every life.

Even here on VR, there are a lot of people that I am drawn to, I feel they would be great teachers, even if just to converse once in awhile.

Maledicta - Yes I do believe that past lives are weaved into this as well.I dont think that this is how it happens for everyone but i will say that I do think it happend more often then not

As much as I hate the idea of fate, predestination, and anything that seem as if it might control outcome (of my life or anything), it does seem as if there are certain people put in my path for a reason. "Put" sounds so pre-formatted. Hate that.

Is it because I just pay more attention? Disregard others? Some of them are very different from me, but we do communicate on a very deep level.

Bloodmother... I would say yes...maybe we do not understand why they are "put" there but regardless there they are, maybe will walk past them a million times and then one day you end up at the same place at the same time and strike up a conversation like from one you left off as it may seem

Bloodmother, I hate fate too, but I think of fate as more of an option or something. Like fate to me is a whisper of a suggestion in the ear, and it's up to us to listen or not, so it makes me feel better that it's not planned, that we always have a choice.

Yes a lot of the people you meet are there for a reason in a time and a place when you need them some are their to help you but in the same way some of their to hurt you. People can do both they can bring you down because the meet you at a weak time or they can bring you out of one just depends on what path you choose to take and who you manage to meet.

I do believe that some people really improve your life but I also believe the other side of the coin is true. You run into just the wrong person at your weak times and you life can go to hell in a hand basket.

It'd odd you should bring this up now, because I've been thinking the exact thing in recent days. I do believe in fate, and everything happening for a reason, and it's because of this that even though I don't believe in a God, I know there is definitely something there. Some or even most people you know in life, you are supposed to encounter at some time in life, and for a certain length of time.

Fate is a wyrd thing (clever people will get the dorky pun).

I agree that everyone we meet are our stepping stones of life, I have always believed it. We learn something from everyone we come in contact with whether it be a good lesson or a bad lesson, I do feel they are in our path for some purpose no matter how small it may be. I mean there are people who have a great impact on a person and others who just have a small offering of advice or words that help you and they do not even know it yet, you do.

I feel if we change our lives then it does change the ones around us as well since they are closest to us. I mean everytime some one marries and then divorces, well it affects everyone who may have contact with the 2 of you.

It is a chain reaction as was stated before. As for a soul mate I also do not feel it has to be the one you with in a relationship yet could be a friend teacher etc... someone who just totally connects with you and can complete you on all levels of your like they Balance you.

Just an opinion.

I think that we reincarnate in groups...a sort of spiritual family. So that friend you have today may have been your child/spouse in another carnation.

i have these crazy children who from a very young age have proclimated that they have known "uncle tiny" before.. and so on...

I believe that people come and go out of our lives for reasons that we will never understand. Some are meant to stay other are not. I believe like a lot of others that everything happens for a reason that we control our destiny. We pick what paths we walk.

well I believe we live life forward and understand it backwards, I actually wrote a thesis on this, we come into contact with people from all walks of life during our own life and they may just be stepping stones yet some actually touch our life and say 10 years later something happens and you remember this one person that you knew or met in your life who basically had already prepared you for this very moment, so therefore we are understanding it backwards because we went back to that point and time /or memory if you will and well we are all here for a reason we just have to live our lives and wait to see what happens I feel.

Soulmates are not always our mate I believe that as well mine is a person whom is very close to me and balance me and just well she is my soulmate, is all I can say ...

Our loved ones meet up with us in our next life(s) ,thou not all at once. Some this life ,some the next. Life is not set in stone due to free will, but some thing are meant to happen no matter what we do. So go with the flow if it feels right, if not paddle like hell upstream.

but what about that of instant lovers. You can look at someone and become instantly sexually attracted to that person does that mean that in a past life you both were wild passionate lovers.

Yes I would that to be true.... Back when i was alot younger , my 1st love died of cancer and I was crushed beyond saddness. A few years later I met this man who, well they looked so much alike it was scary, and we were immediatly attracted to one another. It was the strangest thing. And i think the one thing that has always been in the back of my mind was, a few months after my first passed away, the next was in a horrible accident and died and they were able to revive him , always me me wonder if maybe their souls didnt cross.

I must disagree if merely because I am disagreeable by nature. It’s possible that one merely convinces oneself of these karmic connections because it’s what they want or are socialized to believe. What about the people we feel inexplicably attracted/connected to who end up betraying us offensively. Who deceive and slander us then leave us to our misery. Let us not name only those circumstances which we’ve found favorable as they are perhaps as much coincidence as are the adverse.

To assert a reason behind everything that happens asserts a controlling sentience with goals. I see zero evidence of any such controlling entity. Research agrees with me.

So no, I don't believe that everything happens for a reason unless that "reason" is simply the factors that work through the laws of physics to form events. There's no real cause for any of it.

If you step out in front of a truck, the truck will likely hit you and if it's moving fast enough, you'll probably die. There's no reason for it other than the inability for your body to function when restructured to such a degree. If you don't step in front of the truck you'll likely continue to live. There's no master plan or purpose behind it. If there were, there would be no point in ever making plans or thinking anything through because you couldn't really alter the outcome anyway. So everytime you make a decision, you're demonstrating that you don't really believe there is a reason for everything.

In my opinion, such an idea is just emotional pacification in denial of reality.

I recently re-connected with my daughter aftet being apart from her for 15 years. She was taken from me from her mother, illegeally. While getting to know each other, we found ourselves saying the same things in unison, finishing each others sentances. We found out that even though we were kept from one another, we are so very much alike. It was like speaking to a best frined that knew me inside and out, and I knew her. It was a mind blowing, and beautiful experiance. She is of this lifestyle as well. I do not beleive in coincidence either. This happened for a reason.

I've heard that before- how sometimes you meet people and you really just get along perfectly, it's almost creepy. Like you've known them before.

I've heard some people say that you were close to them in a past life, and your soul recognizes their soul.
I've also heard that it's a sign that they're essential to your life.

Epike, Yes I have heard that same things from many many many people, and have experienced it myself first hand.

So to say that its not reality, well if you haven't experienced that then you would never understand regardless of what the researchs think.

Very true LDR & Epik. If one has not experienced this then they would not know or understand what you are talking about. I believe that there are several people out there even on here there are some that you are just drawn to. Whether by soul or by past life there is that connection.

Well i to have felt it kinda the way this topic starter mentioned. However i have finded more then 1 time the person be a fake. Maybe your mind just play a game with you because you deep inside want it to be in a sertain way?

Souls are intertwined with their fate. When people die and are reincarnated they're done so in the same circle as the previous life.

obscureation has a great point, but are they always in the same circle. because there are many a times i have run across people and i would sware i know them from somewhere but i know that i have never met them in this lifetime. or have never seen a picture of them yet something just clicks, and i know i know them. scary really because they tell me the same thing.

Oftentimes I find myself drawn to someone that I barely know, or don't know at all, just someone that I have heard of or seen, as though I should meet them, perhaps they have something to teach me.
Even people on here, I sometimes have a great interest in getting to know, as they seem very interesting and eloquent. I think there are a lot of teachers out there, you just never know who they are.
The powerful pull of attraction..not necessarily sexual, is fascinating to me. Always looking to see what I can learn from someone.

you already know what i think about this, but i believe that its all laid out and if it feels right...go for it..usually you just know when you meet someone if its going to work or not...it kind of takles care of itself.

after my best friends daughter was born she used to tell me that they would sit in the dark and just stare at each other. she said it was like they'd know each other before.

6 months later i went to pick up my friend so she could go to the club with us. her husband was going to stay with the baby. when i got to the house the baby wanted me to pick her up. i hadn't seen her since she was a few days old. it was like we'd know each other forever.

when her father reached over to take her back she didn't want to go to him and started crying.

my best friend and i are very sure that we've know each other in other lives and that we always find our way back to each other. so i firmly believe that we are reincarnated in groups.

I believe that we are destined to meet certain people at certain points in our lives. I know there were several times I questioned a choice I had made but later found it was the right one do to someone I would not have meet otherwise.

I agree strongly. Some people call it fate, destiny, or an act of GOD that things happen in our lives or the Devil made me do it. People have also try to explain things that happern to us is of our own choices, which is partially true. But your walking down the street and you want to cross, but can't seem to get around a car that is parked in front of you. So would that be of choice or fate, destiny, coincidence or......?

Or what exactly...There are forces that drive us that we certainly cannot explain...how each of us handles the event as it occurs is a different matter though...

i would have to agree with some of the tings you are saying i have met someone and i couldnt belive it it was if we knew each other all our life and well we have been friedns ever since and i feel she came into my life to help me and well she decided to say and be my best friend in the end

I believe that you encounter people in your life for several reasons.

Some of these reasons...
To teach you a lesson you wouldn't have otherwise learned.

To help you through a difficulty

To open your mind to something new

And the reversal of those as they pertain to your effect on the other person.

Also, much less frequently, to form a life connection with..

I don't believe in circumstance when it comes to the placement of situations or people in your path.

There is someone in my life who makes me complete. I met him by chance but since then we've found an incredible amount of things that connect us. He's made me a better person and whether it was fate or coincidence, I'm glad I met him.

I believe that everyone we meet, it's for a reason. Weither it is they need us in their life or the other way around. Or it could be that we are connected by past lives.

I personally don't believe in coincidence...everything happens for a reason, good, bad or indifferent. Yes when I met my husband I think we were very in tune with each other and we still are after nearly 11 years. Whether it be fate or past lives I don't know, but I do believe he is my soul mate.

I believe in this vast world there are others that are much like us a twin to say or soulmate. people in life we meet and its like we have known them our whole lives. yet others are as said stepping stones in the building structure of our lives for we learn from them and create oueselves hopefully for the better.

See now, I'm of an opposite mindset. I don't believe things have to happen for a reason. Some things just happen. I also don't believe in fate or destiny. I think what choices we make today will affect what happens in our lives tomorrow. I don't think that it's all set out beforehand.

Being an empath I can connect with many people, but some are stronger then others. I've had a few...."do I know you's?" before.

I'm with you Daedal. I don't believe in destiny. I do believe that there is a reason for repeatedly crossing paths with someone, but I'm the one who supplies the reason.

well i do of course think that everything does happen for a reason and i believe in the whole fate,destiny and in dejavue as well,sometimes we are on the right path and other times we are not.

Fate or coincidence that we should meet someone or place we have been before is seldom felt. Yet for every friend is met, a circle begins, yet if we could do this at a different time or place the circle would still be intact. Or is it a presumption on that a person before has the same characteristics of the person we just met. Than us assuming this is someone we have met before.

Because I believe in reincarnation, It is my opinion that that kind of familiar connection with someone is more than likely two souls that knew each other in past lives. I too feel that fate plays a large part in the paths that tend to cross when we least expect it. Its often like a very strange sense of dejavue. I think that the strands of time and fate are on a very delicate balance. crossing only when they are at exact points. and it repeats itself in every life.

well I feel that life is planned out for us as to coming upon things that will cause us to use our free will and make the choice as to what we actually do.

Soulmates can be anyone in my opinion. and as to flling in love or lust at first sight I believe alot of it is mainly the mental as well as the physical attraction, not nessessarily(sp) an old love from your past, I feel if we are attracted to them it is more primal, then actually an old lover.

yet, I do also believe that we are instantly connected with some because of past lives yet, not all.

Funny that I should find this thread now, after just experiencing the exact subject matter. I think CarnelianMyst has a very good point, as well as others that have responded. The people we so happen to be drawn to could very well be described as... platonic soulmates. I've also heard it as kindred spirits.

I think we thrive most when we find others with uncanny commonalities to our own.

When the first matter (organ or gasous organ or nuclei, eectron pproton neutron atom, cells whatever we say) and no matter arised from the "Zero" as the birth of universe, the were formulated just as our formulation is on dna and this formulation already done on each cell each matter and each no matter to lead the expansion of the universe and the soul kept free with the options and results like wise. Thus the whole tings time passage, happenings cause and effect already is formulated with the birth of our origin. this universe yet expanding and each nano seconds uncountable happenings happens and its pre written. this is my opinion only. Even the God come into existence in this universe, He also have no way but only this formulated matters and no matters and cause and effect. we can do this or that and result already written and even the end of the universe is written in the coding that criss and cross will meat at teh end and become end of the universe.

I believe it is all apart of each persons life journey, and yes we can feel very connected to certain people. Perhaps they were meant to help teach us something or help get us through difficult emotional times.
How many times do people find out later that they are not compatible with a person, but they have a child together. Now if they had realized the compatibility issue before conceiving that child, then the child may not have ever had a chance at their own life journey.

Could the opposite also be true? What of the people we should have met, but just missed? Maybe if you had taken time to finish your coffee instead of leaving the cafe in a hurry, you might have bumped into someone who was destined to be the love of your life - or maybe just becoming a part of thier life saves them and prevents a death. but for the sake of just a few seconds more - you missed them. Who knows?

Personally, I believe in fate and destiny. If it is meant to happen, it will.

Well, I do believe there is a reason I don't believe that anything is just by chance. If it is meant to be it just wil be. Me and my better half more often then not are on the same thoughts he will start it and i will finish it or saying the exact same thing at the exact same time. Very much " in tune" for the most part. Some times in life things just work well together and everything else just falls into place. When ya have the right ingredients the end result is superb !

So fate or destination is already predetermined in ones life. so saying things just don't happen for a reason of crossing paths for loved ones or friends. so who determined this?

Our we just like amovie that plays over and over the script already in place. I believe that we do in some ways have our choices and it is not all predetermined.

I believe that everyone enters our lives for a reason, some are just passing through it (the aquaintances and people you say hi to, even people in VR) others are here to teach us valuable lessons (either about the world we live in, our morals or just teach us somthing about ourself) some enter into our lives and well never leave them friends for life, family etc

Everyone we meet touches our lives in some way and that helps to shape us into the people we are, we learn lessons from the people, in somecases project oursleves onto that person, or take something from them and carry it with us.

Yes my belief is that of the same its is a circle its never ending. Having gone thru a few past life regression seminiars over the years. One that alwys stuck with me, (and first let me say everyone has their own beliefs as to what happens after death these are just mine )
In my past life my hair was as snow and I was living next to a great body of water, which was some what tropical. as a healer I could smell the white sage as it burned in my home. Ironically i have a huge white streak in my hair that has been there for a long as i remember. I beleive that we do return until things are done right . and those people that we meet that seem so familiar to us are those that were in our passed lives.

Ok ya being I went there I wil add also that i do believe in soul mates, but I think it is much more then just as lovers and what not more so such as soul families.Tjose that are conected to us in this from from our previous. It's fate and we can try to change it, but can we? I myself like others have had, "Oh, I met you somewhere?"
I too do not think it's a fluke but rather what's supposed to be, because later on you find out things that had happened lead to things that changed your life.

I met someone a few years ago at stone henge , and we had an instant connection . I felt like he was my brother or someone i was very close to , and he recognised me , After a while of talking to him , i had a flashback from another life . It was really funny , he was still the same person , still the layed back humor . He had the most rediculous hair cut . And i was the women i,d seen in another flashback from before we had met .I told him what i,d seen , we both excepted it without question and went on our merry way together . It was totally wierd . It was like if you met a friend and said " do you remember when we went to the beach together" and they said yes , but over the period of lifetimes without diminished memory . It has happend on a few other times aswell where i,ve rememberd someone from another time , but never with them recognising me too .

Coincidences, synchronicities, and that feeling you describe, that's happened with several close friends. I've also heard others describe it as "Fascination", though I always preferred the term "Recognition."

There's actually a book you might find interesting as it has to do with this subject, called "The Celestine Prophecy". It's basically a fictional parable, but describes what the author believes is an evolution of the mind and spirit, of the human race.

I think that when you meet a person like that the aura is sending out certain messages to the other person that are either quite friendly, or not so much. I've seen this go both ways. Most people find another person with auras that can just mash. People that can get along no matter what. Then there's the opposite. It's not like the people have met before, but they either can like each other or they cannot. Most of my friends have lighter auras, while mine is sort of in the middle. I have never had a friend with a purple aura, as most of the time those are the people I have the least in common with. Our auras do not seem to match up.

This is a wonderful post that is going to generate a wide variety of discussion. First - you speak of fate. You believe in soul mates but not just as in a lover that is your soul mate but friends as well.

I believe that every person we meet in this life affects us in one way or another. (sorta like dropping a pebble in a pond) I am not sure that I would say fate because it makes it sound as if it were pre-ordained. However, I do believe in past lives and that you could be great friends with somebody in more than one lifetime. I guess that would be a type of soulmate - unfortunatley for me this has only happened with 2 very good friends. We instantly clicked and it was truly as if we had known each other our entire lives.

I personally do not believe things are pre-ordained but I do believe everything happens for a reason. I believe we make our own fate by every choice we ever make - be it good or bad, it shapes our lives.

For the third part - of course some people are here to help us along the way - unfortunately we have to be enlightened enough to realize it when they come!

I actually feel that way about my kitten. An adorable purebred seal point siamese. She is so wonderful and I felt I loved her from the moment I held her in my arms. I felt there was a connection, like with no other pet I've ever had. Also someone in my family was suffering and very sick and this kitten made them smile and helped them through her illness by making her happy and feel loved. I believe this kitten is truly sent from above. This kitten is special. She has quite the personality indeed. Her name is China.

Sometimes you meet someone you hate. Why? Maybe because you need to learn to deal with this type of person. It might be one you were walked on in another life. So learn how to deal with this one,who wants to deal with it again in another life once is enough. Some of our soulmates might be a past family member . How else could someone know you so well to be you friend so fast. Just a little thought that our love ones really do never leave us.

1)The Laws of Attraction may have much too do with who we meet and how things occured as well ... what ever we think project out too other.. If you feel sexual that what you attract.. if you feel intellectual , that what you encounter,,, Havent you Woke up in the morning feeling lousy and grumpy as heck.. you may have encounter many obstacle during that day...


What does the law says.. we attract too ourselves what ever you focused , attention,or energy wanted and unwanted everything comes to us through the most elemental laws of physics- likes attract like..
Like attract is nothing more then the Law Of Attraction, its absolute has nothing to do with your personality, your religious belief, if you good or bad person or anything else, no one lives beyond this Lawll The law of the Universe ...2).now if we view it beyond the physics and more of spiritual, mystical then we can view it that there more too life that actually we dont know about many mystery too be unfolded leaving us wanting more and making it interesting journey to live on... a,,,,,,, mystical foundation...
I guess there two valuable points to be explored depending on what we believe in........

O yeah sure, I guess the "law of attraction" only works for those who bought 'The Secret' or to the subscribers of the concept, those kids in Africa dying of deseases and famine, food being the priority if not the only thing in their mind every day and "the universe" dont respond, Haha if it was that simple we would have more rich people than poor in our society Dont you think..... I will sit here and think every day for the universe to deliver Milla Jovovich my message of my intenions with her. Thats another book/film/concept that screams "If you believe ir you can get it".. and it have worked pretty well selling.

i think that on some cosmic level our lives (i.e. even those we meet, befriend, fall in love with etc) are a microscopic parallel of the universe... or shall we say a larger form of atomic particles....

there are usual patterns, so to speak... but there is the anomaly (crossing of paths) that shakes things up and makes our life sometimes take that sudden turn.

i do not think it is all predetermined and written out in a book... but there is perhaps a mystical/spiritual element to it... sometimes patterns occur or lives intersect that defy the odds, as if something else is at work. but i don't think we have control over these patterns when it comes down to it, or little say. what happens happens as a result of timing and intersection and conditions.

we all have been in love - right? but if you have been do you not agree that the timing/feeling/etc had to be right to fall in love at that point?

sure, we could chalk it up to "fate" but i think TIMING had something more. that person you met on the street, or at a party, or at work or on the internet... BUT if you might have not been at that party or had that conversation or been online that moment chances are the intersection would not have occurred.

we do cross paths with people. that is certain. our lives are a road of many twists & turns, a path. and at points we cross paths and walk side by side with others. this is a beautiful thing, but i think one that comes due to intersection (chaos at work?) more than anything else. to call it "fate" seems to place us in some storybook fantasy. the way i see it... the story IS our life as an individual with its many events and random events. we do have some say certainly as far as our circumstances are concerned, but i think that our path is not totally mapped out.

I also believe there is no such thing as coincidence. There is a design so vast that to us, it seems to be random. The pattern is just too massive to recognize. Who made this design... who knows?

I believe in deja vu... and past lives, and all that hookah. So I do believe it's possible.

Although I believe in destiny and fate, i think they are malleable, nothing is written in stone other than the origin of a thing- how it is played, how it ends, is defined and molded by our actions (much like reading the tarot). However, I think everything happens for a reason- whether it be a negative or positive experience, there is a lesson behind it, and I also agree with the circle theory, eveything is tied together.
I also believe in past lifes, and that people we most often love or hate, and those who have significant meaning in our lives, each time, are there for a purpose- to end a cycle, to begin one, to strengthen, or cut a bond. It is much like the theories behind Reiki, contracts or ties exist from one life to another, and are there to be used asa lesson- you may have had a reason to meet them again, although you often do meet people you have never met before in a past life...they too are put there for a reason. Often we have those bonds and there are purposes behind them present ones- to cut a tie, to end a lesson.
Let me give personal examples. (I am trying to explain myself, but it may be hard to do)

When I was a young teen, my very first experience with past lives and current lives connected was with my first love Jared. I was dating his friend Mike, they were staying at my house for a weekend. Mike and I were not really working out...while the he was asleep, Jared and I stayed up all night talking, something we had never really done before....and as we got to talking, we realized we had alot in common. Time went by, we did alot of communications by phone, mail, visits, Mike and I ended up breaking off....and then one time, Jared and I on one of our allnighters ended up having a whole past life recurrence..we sync'd awake, lucid, colorful memories flooded out from us with minimal bodily touch. He and I ended up dating for close to 3 years, and lost touch for a period of over a decade. Back in 2004, when I came back east, and already had my bf then/husband now Ron in my life, Jared was the first to welcome me, and we instqantly took off being friends from where we had left off all those years ago. We found out before he died in 2008 that there were alot of unresolved past life/current life complications we had to close matters on- and it helped him in passing on when the time came.

He wasn't the only one- at least 2 other significant boyfriends also were past lovers in former lives and in this life. One of them was able to recall all my past memories with him, withouit my ever having ever clued him in on them, or for that matter, and every detail was correct- the past life we had together was a bloody, horror, and he knew everything. I have also had a few very close friends in this life who I have shared other lives with , even multiple lives. Some we had unfinished business, or bad endings, and in this life, we straightened out the issues. Some of them I am still friends with, others the friendships ended badly.

That leads me to the whole soul mate question. I think there are levles of the term 'soul mate' . They aren't always sexual or romantic in nature, some of them are platonic. That person is who or what you need at a certain point in your life, and I think we have more than one soul mate. And again, we don't have the same people life after life....an example would be my exhusband---ewww, he was bbbaaaaddd. He was a new soul, very blank, so tp speak, and it ended badly- but it sure did teach me a lesson. I think it is possible for us to meet new people in this life that we may meet again in future lives for whatever reason.

I am a firm believer in fate/destiny. I strongly believe that there is a predestined path for each of us. We're here to learn, to better ourselves, to move to the next level. That there is a purpose to all we do, a reason for who we meet. Each new person in my life, each loss I've encountered has brought me farther on my journey. Whether it is a door closing, or one opening, I strongly believe there is a higher power leading the way. Unfortunately, the why's are not revealed to us immediately, but eventually. I've come to know someone recently who I believe very strongly was placed on my crossroads for a reason. I have yet to find out that reason, but for now, I only hope to know them better. The connection I feel with this person is so strong, that it cannot be anything other than fate. Just minding my own business, moving along this life as usual and bam......there they were.......complete stranger to me, but like I knew them forever, they calm me simply by speaking with me. I only hope they'll be around for a long period of time, because the draw to them is so very strong. But that is not my decision to make. It is fates. Fate put this person here, and only fate knows for how long. And I also believe we choose this life before we enter it, because there are things we need to learn from it, even if it's a life of suffering, it's still something we need to learn on some level.

It never matters where i go. Everywhere that i choose to be, i end up finding individuals that are special to me for who or what they are. I adore each and every single person that has chosen to be by my side through the years. I don't expect them to always be by my side for i know every one of them has their own journeys in life and directions to take but all i can really do is love them for the time they are with me. Some friends of mine have been so close to me , they might as well be considered family or familiars or soulmates. They all have an impact and i'm sure that as long as i live, i will always continue to cross paths with those that I am meant to. :)

well we have a bond within all of us that tells us we dont belong here .

so some can help us be who we are and others can tell us nothing and some have very little to say but its their actions that speek for them .

If you feel close to someone get to know them and see if it works for you but if not move on , it can be hard but the hard things in life if we leave them get better and make us better for just knowing that person.
If you think you are getting or giving something i say to give is better.

I have found in life the more i give the more my life is not better but it helps me to know that what i do i do for the better of all.

Maybe one day i will meat someone who thinks that way but most think i am nuts .
You see i am one thing to one person and another to another.

Its i thin line i walk on because some say i live a lie .
But i have not hert a person by doing what i think they would want of me just made their life a little better.

As for esp and all that other stuff i dont belive its true , i think tho it is true that if you belive in something strong enough than its true just for you.

Circles inter -twining with others, perseption of our life as it goes touching others and adding some affect upon their circle. just like some of the posts here. information or help to guide the circle to another point with interaction.

We choose to go to a place that fits us, like this site. On this site you can find many people you have somthing in common with. Since we do this we automatically are confronted with people that have atleast one thing in common with you and alot of times alot of things. Also i you believe in riencarnation you could say that you knew this person oin another life time and by chance you met them again in this one.
