What do you think about death?
Have you thought about your end time?
If you have seen a dead animal of somekind, what do you think about the smell?
Have you ever died before?
If you have a conversation and/or see a photo/image of death, what do you think?
What do you think about death?
Part of life.
Have you thought about your end time?
Yes many times.
If you have seen a dead animal of somekind, what do you think about the smell?
Uh? It's nasty.
Have you ever died before?
No.
If you have a conversation and/or see a photo/image of death, what do you think?
Death as in Azrael?
No never, but my friend says she sees him often and doesn't dare to talk to him.
Death is just another part of life. Nothing about it has ever fazed me, smell, sight, thought, nothing. I have thought about my own death, and though I do not rush towards it, I am ready and welcome it. But if I had a choice I'd want to be with my love when I do die.
Thanks for posting, deathnitegrl and SeraConner.
I know death is real, it is just as what life is real.
Yeah, I have thought about it. I just hope it comes quickly enough.
I have seen a dead animal, the smell is really something. I feel somewhat at peace with the smell, as there IS more disturbing smells that is worse.
Yes I have.
I have no problems chating-typeing about it, and I also enjoy seeing images of the dead.
i mean about dying, not freaking out about smells or pictures.................
We live and then death. Believing in recarnation...helps make death does'nt seem to bad.
Then I think when I am in my 80's and 90's I may welcome death if I have to relay on people to care for me and I lose my independence.
Smell of death no.
What do you think about death?
I don't like death it hurts
Have you thought about your end time?
I have never thought of the end I just want to live forever, I want to watch my child grow and their child.
If you have seen a dead animal of somekind, what do you think about the smell?
I can't remember the smell cause all I could think of is I can't believe what I'm seeing
Have you ever died before?
I have never died, but when I saw my father on the table and he was dead I thought I was in a dream that wasn't real.
If you have a conversation and/or see a photo/image of death, what do you think?
I think about my father and why did it have to happen to him
What do you think about death?
I think of people like butterflies. Our soul is walking around in a cocoon until our bodies die, and then we emerge from our shells to be what we truly are outside of it.
Have you thought about your end time?
No i don't need to think about my ending since i'm still living it. There really is no point.
If you have seen a dead animal of somekind, what do you think about the smell?
I have handled a couple dead animals/pets in my time and i never smelled anything from them.
Have you ever died before?
Not in this life lol
If you have a conversation and/or see a photo/image of death, what do you think?
It doesn't bother me really. Everyone has a fate of some kind so seeing death shouldn't be a surprise.
:)
I do not fear death at all. I've seen too much death and learned not to fear it. Its just passing into the next world, plane whatever you want to say or wherever the soul goes when we die.
I have and haven't thought of my death. I'm livin life the way I do and when I die i die. It'll be my time to leave this world and go wherever.
I have seen dead animals on the side of the road before and the smell is from their body starting to decay after death. In essence the smell of death.
No I have not died before.
When a conversation of death or i see an image/photo of death I often ask myself why death happens but like i've already stated death is the passing of the soul from one life to another or another plane or whereever it goes.
*Clears throat* Of course society knows that death is "real." Otherwise this world would be extremely over populated.
Anywho, on with the thread.
What do you think about death?
Death, is inevitable.
Have you thought about your end time?
Always, but I have no fear of it. When I pass, I am sure my soul will continue with what it is ment to do.
If you have seen a dead animal of somekind, what do you think about the smell?
What does this have to do with the price of tea in China? *tsk, tsk, tsk*
Have you ever died before?
As in passed on and then came back, or had a near death experience where the doc's had to revive the self?
If you have a conversation and/or see a photo/image of death, what do you think?
Who hasn't? Some are real, some are fascinations that are well constructed hoax's. I see it everytime I watch the telly show: Ghost Hunters.
Thanks members for posting.
Yeah, SS. I did mean with the 'As in passed on and then came back', for the "Have you ever died before".
What do you think about death?
all in favor of it...but i want to pick out who it happens to! lol
Have you thought about your end time?
yes. i want to die in my sleep like my granddad...rather than screaming in horror like all his passengers on the plane.
lol...just kidding there.
If you have seen a dead animal of somekind, what do you think about the smell?
uh..stinky. is that a trick question?
Have you ever died before?
if you mean in this life, no.
if you mean in other lives, im very sure of it.
If you have a conversation and/or see a photo/image of death, what do you think?
just depends on alot of factors.
~W~
Im not affraid to die, infact I have a somewhat morbid relasionship when it comes to death. dont get me wrong. I do not like it when death touches loved ones and takes them somewhere I cant follow, but Im not affraid of my own 'end time'
I see death as a horizon yet to be conquered, who's to say what lies beyond it?
I think about death alot it is always around us as a part of life. I do not fear death yet, I do worry about the ones I will leave behind, just as my Father did. He passed away in April and was ready yet, he was so worried about the rest of us how we would get on without him. that is the biggest fear I feel of death is leaving loved ones behind.
Death is the conclusion of life. To embrace death with happiness in your face, you must learn to live life. Many people live life like they will never die. But, death is tricky, because you never know when is coming; so, always be prepare to die.
What do you think about death?
I don't tend to think about death because its such in infinate word. My beleifs are that the spirit lives on so death is just purely a pysiological process not a spiritual one. I do wonder if I will die a painfull one though!
Have you thought about your end time?
Again time in infinate, to think about the end of time would seem impossible to me.
If you have seen a dead animal of somekind, what do you think about the smell?
I seen dead animals before but i'm normall travelling between 40 and 90mph at the time so its hard to guage the smell.
Have you ever died before?
Probably, but I can't remember it.
If you have a conversation and/or see a photo/image of death, what do you think?
I'm impassive to it, i do not think really give it much thought
What do you think about death?
~Death is a part of life... and it signifies change. "We are eternal all this pain is an illusion..." When we die our soul is released, our body rots, and we enter a consciousness that we aren't familiar with. Until we are reborn again...
Have you thought about your end time?
~Of course, but when it comes I will be ready. Until then I'm pretty curious...
If you have seen a dead animal of some kind, what do you think about the smell?
~Yup, more than a few times... whether it be abandoned animal bodies or my cats victims. The smell is pretty gross. You just know the smell of rotting flesh and it isn't good.
Have you ever died before?
~Not in this lifetime, well not that I know of.
If you have a conversation and/or see a photo/image of death, what do you think?
~When it comes to the image of Death... I think it's an interesting symbol, the hooded skeleton with the scythe. I like the art that people do of their depiction of Death. I also love Death from the Sandman series, 80s comic of the Endless.
~And as for an actually picture of something dead I think either gross, sick, or how the hell did it get so flat. Lol.
~Conversations, I try to be gentle and sympathetic to the person who had someone taken away from them. I know how it is and I try to be understanding and try to help them stay positive.
i have never died b4. i tend not to think about death often. and i have seen dead animals the smell is not a good one
I have seen death. I have watched it advance from the last few breaths to "gone but not forgotten." I have seen it's aftermath, it's progression, it's impassiveness, and it's cruelty. I have seen it as a relief and a curse, a promise and an ending.
I have fought against it and on occasion won. More often than not I lost.
That which dies is dead in regard to tissue, muscle, and blood. I cannot say what might continue on in regard to energy or awareness.
We all die, it is inevitable. There is no reason to fear it as there is no way to stop it. Delay it perhaps, on occasion, but we all die. The secret is to live as fully as we can in the now, and if there is a beyond that make the most of that as well. If there is no afterlife then we will at least have sucked as much life out of the cosmos as was physically possible while we still breathed.
What do you think about death?
I think its a natural part of life, a new turn of the cycle
Have you thought about your end time?
Yes I have but I try not to get too into it
If you have seen a dead animal of somekind, what do you think about the smell?
It isnt pleasant
Have you ever died before?
No, sometimes I wish
If you have a conversation and/or see a photo/image of death, what do you think?
Depends on my mood.
I see dead people - in pictures. Love them, especially the old-timey tintypes where people posed the dead. I also don't mind gruesome pictures.
I sniff things - food, plants, my hands after I've petted an animal. Smelled dead animals. My brain tells me it's unpleasant, but I also don't like the smell of manure on lawns.
Never understood murderers who bury people all around their homes. They must enjoy the smell.
Not real concerned about dying, more interested in living, in how to make a life.
An answer given in another thread that is now RIP'ed:
I do not fear death because I know what lay beyond the veil first hand. There is no real reason to fear death, the individual does not fear the death, but the actions and pain that lead to it. They would rather die suddenly then prolong the pain before the inevitable.
Once one has been placed in the grip of the death air, they will find that they may no longer care about life for a couple of seconds and that everything is alright. It is all o.k. for those several minutes. One may realize that their physical problems such as stress, money worries, relationship issues are meaningless because in the end, it is just you and the hereafter, the selfish ties are severed and all fear of living extinguishes itself for a moments time.
This is why I do not fear death. The feelings that I was aware of. The sensations. The realizations. I felt cold after the fact, not during it. I was alive after the transition and dead before it. If one grasps this concept, then they would realize that death is a very good adventure once they experience the first level of it.
What do you think about death?
I don't dwell on it a lot actually, it's unavoidable and I see it as a transition between this existence and the next.
Have you thought about your end time?
I hope it's not terribly painful or violent but that's about it.
If you have seen a dead animal of some kind, what do you think about the smell?
I find the fresh smell of death a bit nauseating but not nearly as bad as corpses left to rot.
Have you ever died before?
No, have worked very hard a few times to stay alive actually.
If you have a conversation and/or see a photo/image of death, what do you think?
Other than whatever the conversation is about I don't really think much of it. Dwelling on death doesn't interest me.
Honestly, I don't know how people can fear death. It's such a trivial thing. People always try to prolong the inevitable.
Face it. We don't live that long. We're going to die one way or another.
People are always trying to hide their age too, especially females. I say let the wrinkles show. ^_^
It lets people know you've got experience.
I don't know what's going to happen to me when I die.
I don't really care either.
Bring it on.
I don't have a death wish or anything but I'm certainly not going to care about it either.
One less thing I have to worry about.
I do not fear death. when it is brought up into conversation I do not mind talking about it. It does not bother me because I know that one day all things living must die.
from the moment you begin to breathe your body is living on borrowed time because the body will die eventually, yet our spirit / soul lives on and many believe we are reborn so no fear here and at this time of my life I would welcome an eternal slumber.
Death affects the living more than the dead, the ones left behind
What do you think about death?
It will happen to all of us.
Have you thought about your end time?
Yes, that is why I have life insurance.
If you have seen a dead animal of somekind, what do you think about the smell?
It is very awful. Drag a deer from the road side that has been dead about twelve hours and you will be days washing the funk off.
Have you ever died before?
Not that I am aware of.
If you have a conversation and/or see a photo/image of death, what do you think?
I usually think what a waste or possibly good riddance. Depends on who the person was.
Fighter pilots in centrifuge pods experience rapid on set of intense dreams at 8 Gs, when the blood in the body is condensed into other areas. they lose time (out for less then 2 minutes, yet feel as though they were out for longer).
When most people faint they get a fuzzy tunnel vision.
to have a belief is indeed helpful, think of it as a personal preset software that clicks in to distract a person from deaths potential traumtic experience.
But one must understand to that everyone has a different preferance, and that none are more substanail then others.
So every conflicting idealism adds static to ones software.. please.. Let me die without pop-ups..
~What do you think about death?~
It will happen.......lol
~Have you thought about your end time?~
Yes I have and I hope it's quick.
~If you have seen a dead animal of somekind, what do you think about the smell?~
A sweet funky sort of smell....why the question about smell?
~Have you ever died before?~
Like many other people I have come close, but no cigar.
~If you have a conversation and/or see a photo/image of death, what do you think?~
In this context, I don't think about it...I dwell on what is infront of me now, not what has been.
What do you think about death? I believe that death is a natural cycle to things and should not be feared. Even when I lose someone I care for I know they are in a better place that I and that I need to let them go as it is natural.
Have you thought about your end time? I only hope that I am not in great pain when I pass on, but if I do then it was necessary in some way.
If you have seen a dead animal of somekind, what do you think about the smell? Not sure of this question are you asking about the decay of a dead animal or seeing the spirit of a dead animal. I have seen the spirit of dead animals as they pass on, but never recalled a smell to go along side their passing.
Have you ever died before? I believe in reincarnation so I know I have died several times, but in this life no.
If you have a conversation and/or see a photo/image of death, what do you think? I have never conversed with death.
What do you think about death?
i fear from it but not cause death itself its more like i resist to disappear , like needing to know there must be something more to keep existing . ( hope i expressed well)
Have you thought about your end time?
yeah many times, speacially when i ve been in danger.
If you have seen a dead animal of somekind, what do you think about the smell?
cant stand it.
Have you ever died before?
im sure i lived lives before but cant confirm it its only a believe.
If you have a conversation and/or see a photo/image of death, what do you think?
it depends death for me has many sides , beauty, sadness, cruelty, unknown and misteious .
Death...I do not think I died but I honestly do not know I was unconcious and I remember the world turning upside down.I was certainly very ill and had no water and a terrible fever for days.
When I went for blood tests afterwards my blood was too thick...19.9 mg and an oylmpic athelete is cheating at 17 mg the nurse said " you are alive arnt you", I very nearly had to goto hospital there and then.
I thought this very unproffessional but just gave a nervous smile. Some on here say I died, some say not.
I am not afraid of death.
In either case I do think vamps and the undead are up their own arses. truthfully one has to get this "gift" in perspective.Vamp or no Vamp if there is a solar flare or a Quasar you will all be toast in minutes regardless of how amazingly "magical" yew think yew are!
So keep it in perspective and keep it real.Regards TFS.
I think we have all died, came back as something else,I have came back as a vampire
Gordon,
I fail to see the point of your questions.
I mean though they are very clear you ask certain ones that no one knows the answers to.
I mean no one can say I am not afraid of death because no one that can post here is dead so they have no idea really how to explain it.
I am a soldier in the army and I am around that precarious word you ask about but everybody who has been close to that has been scared shitless from what I know because it is the unknown.
-And whether someone is brave enough to admit it they are clueless how they will welcome death or how they will feel about it-
Thank you for your time.
I don't fear death it's the next step in chain of life. If your asking if you believe in heaven or hell then that's more of a metaphysical question and religious one as well. Being in the service and Paramedic ive been around death often. What is the actual guestion you want answered?
Aronoch, the Questions from the first post of the thread, those Questions.
Fallen, you don't have to experience death to know your not afraid of it. I've been around a lot of death when I was a kid, and I know I don't fear it. But I will admit that I fear where I die. As one of my favorite quotes go "It's not death I fear, It's dying here"
Exactly mi lady you have been around it I get what your saying but it is a experience that needs to be known so as to add to the life experiences you have recieved and that is just my opinion.
I have been around it but wont say I dont fear it because you have to think of the consequences when dying you leave a lot of people who secretly or publicly care.
What do you think about death?
It happens.
Have you thought about your end time?
Only once when I was hungup in a cave,i wondered if I was going to dies there, like that..Then once years later after I woke up in intensive care and was told I had died..twice.Ever since,I will not trouble my mind about it because it is going to happen.
If you have seen a dead animal of somekind, what do you think about the smell?
~Im not one who can handel nasty smells very well,so I dont like the smell at all.And I kindof look at a dead animal..well with no feeling really. It is a different story having to put an animal down however.
Have you ever died before?
Yes.Twice.
If you have a conversation and/or see a photo/image of death, what do you think?
Yes,alot of pix and fished a dead woman out of a river once.We arent very attractive when we die.
Being around death is not the same as have being close to death. It is easy to say you don't fear death when you have never been close to dying personally. I have almost died twice, I was very scared.
i constantly wonder when i am going to die, how i am going to die and what it will be like but i try not to dwell uponit to much.
when i see a dead animal i usually just feel sorry for it, to be honest i put most animals above people, why becuase people are just animals who seem to think they own the world, so like when i saw a dead body i just idsmissed it but every time i see an animal that has died i always feel sorry for it
death is something i think we all just need to wait and see for, something to look forward to in hopefually the distant future
It is a part of life. The only thing in life that we have to do is die, we have no chose. Everything else we have some say but death gets everybody and everything. It is the only thing that we cannot stop. We can put it off to some degree but in the end death will get you.
With that in mind I dont fear death or even think about it.
Death.
Sometimes it's all I can think about.
I just wait for it to happen, but thankfully it doesn't.
When I go to bed I wonder if I'll wake the next morning.
Animals smell horrible dead, so I'm sure a person would smell worse :P
Pictures of dead things intrigue me, but make me feel sad.
