let's face it....
Whether they were found in Comics, TV, or Movies.....
and regardless of reasons....
Everyone has a Favorite Superhero.....
Who is yours? and why?

I think my fave is Batman because he was just a guy with money to spend on fancy toys to save the day...no super powers :)

Mine is Batman because he doesn't really have any 'super' powers and he still kicks ass... he's just what I call a millionaire MacGuyver Ninja in a batsuit.
i would have to say Batman because he uses what is available to him, like brains and money to fight crime
I don't know.... maybe wonder woman because she is beautiful and don't take crap from no one. Of course Batman as well.

The Oracle in The Matrix because she is wise, and makes great cookies,LOL.
Wolverine has been my favorite since I read my first X-Men comic almost twenty years ago. I always related to him because he was a good guy with a dark side. I even named my first born Logan.
hmmm
I never thought about this before. I usually over analyze super heroes and find something I dislike about them.
Notice how their enemies always started out as super heroes also, but began to see to many flaws in humanity to care for lessor beings any more.
If anyone reading this is an artists and would like to try creating an all new superhero, message me. I have a great idea for an all new superhero.
I would have to say Peter Parker/Spiderman, a nerd, a scientific genious, in the comics he makes the spider fluid, it is not a given, the strenght, the speed are part of the benefits of the bite of that radioactive spider, but the web is Parkers invention.
My least favorite would have to be Green Lantern, anyone with a yellow number 2 pencil would defeat the
Golden Age Green Lantern as well as the one form the 60-80s
Well I have two, one is Storm, she is strong, powerful and has a soft heart once you break through her barriers.
The other is Cat Woman, who always went from heroine to villain. Again she was strong willed and swapped sides when it suited her, she did what she wanted and that was that.
I would say Storm.. From X'Men.. Loved the way she'd transform from a soft-spoken woman to a lady who could summon the elements.. I thought it was awesome. I still do. And Wolverine.. He's hot. *smilez*
Superman.
Simply because, he could destroy all other super heroes.
He once knocked out The Incredible Hulk with one punch.
NOT SO INCREDIBLE ANYMORE, ARE YA' PUNK!
Mine are as follows:
Green Arrow
Hawkman
Guy Gardner
Hal Jordan
Wildcat
Dr. Fate
Deadpool
Batman is in there some where but lets be realistic Batman does not really have a "dark side" per se. He respects life very highly and refuses to kill or let someone die if he has the power to stop it. He would gladly sacrifice himself to save someone. That's not much of a dark side.
Batman is the Dark Knight because he fights for the people he serves (Gotham in general) and will be what the people need him to be. He is my favorite of the DC Trinity (Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman) because his symbol means two things: 1) It means those who are doing evil are struck with fear because they know he's around. 2) The innocent people know they are safe because he's around. They may not want to run into him but they know they are safe.
The issue that Batman has always had is that his attempts to strike fear into those seeking to do evil also strikes fear in those he protects. Like I said, they're happy he's around but they fear him to in some ways.
mine would be :::
catwoman for she was/is an strong woman who stood up for herself and others when it was in her time
batman who spent his money on good things
storm for she reminds me of myself when i get mad or sad and is beautiful
and i have a few others but trying to remember their names
Personally, I support the supervillains
My favorite supervillain is Megatron from Transformers.
He is a leader and the strongest. He hungers for more power.
wonderwoman. cause she has that lasso and invisible jet.
Train from Black Cat is one of my personal favorites because he always finds a way out of a sticky situation no matter what.
i seem to be going with the majority here...
BATMAN
he is just a guy ( a crazy rich guy, but still...)
he uses his own human strength...his own human mind (which he uses very well), and chooses to not kill.
gotta respect that as killing would just be sooooo easy.
~W~
I prefer the heroes from manga and anime, but thats my opinion. I would go with Superman because he has a bunch of powers.
What about spiderman? He was an ordinary guy before he got bitten by a radioactive spider.
Batman because he's dark and Rogue because she is a very strong woman.
What about Captain America? He was an ordinary guy used in a military experiment and became super strong.
While Batman, Superman and Wonderwoman are right at the top of my list for their ability to stand firm on what's right for them, I've always been partial to Flash Gordon.
Batman all the way! Super bad ass with a heart of gold. *laughs*
He never kills his opponents, he gets the job done with his gadgets and causes less damage than any other superhero.
He doesn't have a super power of his own but he hangs in there with the best of them.
The guy's always been my fucking idol! Woot! :D
I like Spiderman since I was a kid, he just always was cool to me, but I will say, to me, NO ONE beats Wolverine, hes just a badass mofo!! Self healing? Rarely aging? Never get sick? Never break any bones? Metal bones!!! Those crazy claws..... Damn, I'm gonna go watch X-Men now..
How about the Flash? Super fast and speed equals pain to the bad guys!
Sherlock Holmes if he could be considered a "super hero". His powers are observation and deduction.
More modern day, I am a Green Lantern guy. An otherwis fairly ordinary guy who is chosen by the Guardians of the Universe to wear the ring and become very powerful because of his character and passion for justice,
Ho cool is that?
My favorite is Storm. She is awesome! Being able to controll the weather is a definite perk.
Comics would have to be Ghost rider.
Yet in life would be my Grandfather, a true hero in my life
Definitely Wolverine. Indestructible claws, animal instinct! Who doesn't want tat
storm from the x-men,because she can control the weather
Hard not to have the Batman at my number one spot. Hell, I grew up with the guy and several of his different comics. But after awhile it was the same-o' same'o. Gave him a break for years. Found myself reading, and collecting, the Teen Titans. I'll match Raven to Storm any day.
Id have to say Magneto, I like him for a few reasons, a former member of the X-Men, he seems to have a human side to him, not really evil (he fights for his own kind) and not really good however he has a very honorable persona. I also like him because of his abilities, hes almost cant be stopped, almost everything has metal in it even human blood has traces of iron, he can control and manipulate almost anything at will and his mutant power level is off the charts.

Good point, although Magneto is kinda in a neutral side. Not really evil, but not really good.
Theres no need to fear...Underdog is here!
I'm sorry...
Batman no doubt.
But I would think someone would of said this before.. Shouldn't this be in the sandbox?
The main forum is for ALL Dark Network sites discussions.Power Punks included. Hence , this thread topic.
Now ... back to Batman. ;)
i had said batman before...but i think i need to change my answer to...
either duck dodgers in the 24th and a half century or
harvey birdman attorney at law.
one is just a common duck with a lisp and a pig sidekick, and the other is just an average everyday lawyer with wings.
~W~
I say Wolverine. Ages slowly and is a practically indestructible weapon coming at you.
western superheros- judge dredd.hes a comitted person and so brave.
catwoman.shes so fun and individualistic.
deadpool.hes so funny
japanese superheros.-
dark shneider.he gets the women.
maze.a confused person but thats what makes him/her interesting.
all the girls from catseye.
Batman, like a few others have said. Not superhuman but a crime-fighter all the same.
I have never thought about it before but it is a toss up between storm & rogue because they are both powerful women.
Batman, cuz he's a night creature and his homie robin has a utility belt with a compartment full of pre rolls...Kinda like me your friendly neighborhood chainsmoker
i believe my favorite is hellboy...why because he is forced to stay in the shadows and he cannot be free as he chooses due to the publics negative images
cyclops from the x-men
blind but can shoot laser from his eyes
darn..thought id start a harvey birdman trend there. LOL
she hulk...yes, that would be a lovely way to die! LOL
~W~
how about the Atom
He can make himself the size of an atom which is helpful in certain situations
I've always admired Batman since I was little.
Dark and Mysterious!
Spiderman all the way
having the powers and abilities of a spider
Spiderman, Catwoman, also Batman They are just plain cool!
my favorite would be batman due to him helping the innocent and being there for people. I do watch Smallville to see how they are going to make that clark into SUperman
i would hane to say STORM from X-men with the power to control the eliments
The Power Puff Girls
Reason is that they can fly and yet still kick ass no matter what mojo does.
Sam wise gamgee cus i dont know anyone else who could of put up frodo baggins bitching for as long as he did
V for sure

I also like Batman Beyond and Static.
The masked phantom guy in the cape from V for vendetta who leaves a red rose by the side of his assainations, why ? because he is a mixture of guy fawkes and the phantom of the opera ... an awesome mix and his mission is to blow up the houses of parliament in London and bring a controlling government to an end

It would have to be Spiderman . Just for the fact that he does his duty .
just like for villians i have two favorites here:: catwoman and batman
catwoman could make you love her or hate her while either helping out or causing trouble
and batman fought crime while helping people
I guess i would say Spider Man, he went from being nothing and ordinary so someone and something extraordinary i guess thats something you can relate to in a way.
My favorite superhero is cat woman. The reason why she is my favorite is because she dose not take crap from any one and she kicks bad guy butt. She is strong but still sexy.
