Ok Just want peoples opinions on the goods and bads each has in its favour.
Been on facebook and it's just not appealing as everything you go on wants money off you and trying to go on chat is a nightmare as it never seems to work and get error message. plus the fact that the governments from the US and UK are monitoring it checking everything everyone on there does. and what I wasn't happy about was each app you go on sells your email address to 3rd parties and that's why you get so much spam mail.
My Space... Never been on it so wouldn't know but that's never appealed to me either.
VR is probably the best site I've been on, ok there is a small fee to pay if you the want premium membership but that's something I don't mind paying and there is no one forcing you to purchase it. chat works fine, forums work fine too, plus there seems to be a better class of people on here. Just my Opinion.
What's your opinions?
To me, it's the society system that sets VR apart from those other two sites and any other vampire site.
I do like the other sites giving you the choice to set your profile to private so people have to ask before they can add you.
But overall, VR is better and it really doesn't have much to do with the people. People are people, there's not much difference.
Facebook and my space prostitute your details to all and sundry, for instance if you say you like a certain group"say fast cars" two things happen;
Firstly they sell your details on to fast car manufacturers (read the small print about joining groups) secondly they bombard you with advertisements.
So those who have joined a lot of groups have sold on their personal details (worth 50 dollars a shot) to hundreds of businesses for Nothing.
My advice, do not join groups, if Vr joins them it is likely we will just be sold on as well so long may Cancer resist (That reminds me, must pay up this month LoL)
I have a FB to keep in touch with many family member's and that is the only reason I have one. Myspace, meah no longer use that as it's just place for stupid porn adds. I enjoy VR and I have been here over 4 yrs. The site here is run very well with many updates. The forums work well and it is maintained to keep out the drama that many on other sites seem to encourage.
We do have our moments as anyone will tell you here, but overall it is a nice place to come learn or post your knowledge.
I agree facebook is a good place to keep up with friends and family who live far away and you can't get to see but when a social network site becomes an advert site and they only way to access anything is to pay its not worth being on there, plus there should be some law against them selling your details to 3rd parties.
Don't give out details then. My facebook has very minimal info about me and I don't partake in the apps or groups.
I much rather be on here then My Space or FB.
My Space the profile is just there.
FB I use it to message or get messages
from other Wiccans about events.
FB is a great moneymaking scheme, the way to avoid intrusion is simply not to post anything or like anything ever, thats how i handle my facebook
Must admit my details are all false..He hee Mr zuckerburg.
P.s. I had all my settings private from day1 and they still sent emailed me a new album touting for business which mad me very very angry.
P.P.s So I posted on my wall "Zuckerburg" had sold me on and everyone should post fake details...
and "he" had it removed! So careful they read your stuff.
P.P.s So now he is giving to charity to stop me eating him.
I have to say, I've never had any of these problems on facebook or myspace.
The only problem I have is people wanting me to add them and the stupid apps and groups they want you to join.
If I wanted an app or to join a group, I would find it myself.
So, it's not the site, it's the people on the site.
Vampire Rave in my opinion is the best as far as management. Although, I would like to see private chat on this site and the games return for house favor.
Despite my protest to Face Book in the past, I was asked and enlightened a couple years ago from an old AZ friend who found me since moving from there and have since reconnected with other friends and family from all over the United States. I also feel they could provide more options for privacy. For instance someone who posts a picture of you and tags it.......you should have an option to either accept or deny it being posted. Now, I am speaking of those who do that from you friends lists.
Other than that I have no problem with Face Book. Now it has become a way to communicate with others in my area as most all use it rather than the phone or regular e-mail.
Facebook to me is just a place to talk to family and friends who live farther away. I have to agree with LZombie the Society system that Cancer has set up as well as the Database and store here on VR are most appealing as well as informative and we can shop as well from either I just have not ever cared for My Space, to me it is too much of a hook-up site so maybe I am just to old to care to Cyber with people LOL
Yet, VR is my #1 site and I have been here since early '05 so I guess I am here till civilization falls down and has no more internet.
just my feelings and opinion. great thread as well by the way. :)
I'd have to agree, a private chat would be nice, Ok you got the Chat room in your coven but it would be nice if you could chat one on one to friends, would save using the message centre, but then again you may get someone who doesn't want to chat and the other person may feel offended, it's a catch 22.
Vampire Rave is fine...
but although I was lucky enough to be inducted into
a coven I actually enjoy... there are many who are not
therefore that can be a HUGE downfall to this site...
the fact that there aren't covens you can willing choose to be a part of...
but ones you are FORCED into...
so I see that as a shortcoming of the site...
Many people have left the site just for that particular reason...
MySpace/ Facebook allows you to take part in hundreds of
fun things such as the apps and games and friendly competitions
among you and your friends... so I like them bother...
MySpace is a site meant for bands... so if you are
not a music person... then MySpace will not appeal to you
simple as that...
The latter of the 3 do spam you from time to time
and they can be cluttered with fakes...
but I have found just as many on VR...
[as well as the people who have like 10 different
account on here when they shouldn't.... but
WHATEVER]
So there are ups and downs to all 3.
The raking system is cool, but it can give some
REALLY STUPID people power and authority over others
when all they have done is spent time here...
LMAO... I find that hilarious...
Well. for me Face book, I use it to talk to my sister who live in NC. I don't have my space, too many immature people. VR, ahh, that is another story. I join VR for the people that hang around. For the post, the thread and finally, the ladies. Cool, a 10 for all the ladies.
For me I use facebook to stay in touch with family members from all over the place, and yes the games that are there are fun as well.
I agree GodOfChaos, I think you shouldn't just be inducted by any Coven on here, you should be able to choose, I know you can asked to be traded but you may get someone who wants to be awkward.
I'd chosen the Coven I wanted and was able to trade over.
And markus666, have to agree there are some beautiful women on here, Ok a lot lol.
The only good thing about facebook I found was like everyone says, your able to keep intouch with family and friends, but as for the games, yeah some are really good but they are always demanding money from you.
Not to go against my very good friend GOC...
I am one who loves and understands the force induction policy of VR. I don't see it as a downfall of the site.
Force induction teaches people to deal with social situations that they may not like. We all have to deal with people that we don't necessarily get along with and no doubt, that is going to happen on any social site.
Those people who leave the site because they were inducted into a coven or house that they didn't like...I for one don't miss them at all. Also, if they made a profile on VR then, they should know that the possibility of getting into a coven or house that they might not like, is a very high possibility. If they failed to read the VR Manual or the TOS, that's their problem and I have ABSOLUTELY NO sympathy for them. Especially if they are premium members!
It's like any other thing in this life. Would you pay for a gym membership and NOT know the rules of the gym BEFORE joining? Or perhaps a club? A church? Would you buy a car or house without knowing the price?
People gaining status or administration positions who are (shall we say) less deserving or are jerks and have authority over others? Name a place or any business that ONLY promotes nice, deserving, wonderful people...Also, "deserving," "jerks," and "stupid people" are all within the eye of the beholder.
facebook and my space let out to Meany personal data out as VR Douse not so I feel VR is a safer site I do however have a facebook account
Well LZ I can see your point of view as by the time someone hits the level of Induction they should know what this site is like by then. And trading someone gets you favors so in a good way it works out both ways.
Plus know what you mean by giving certain people the authorities they don't deserve, a firm I worked for gave certain production workers (kiss A**) supervisory positions and it just went to their heads, complete a**holes, Oh that's kinda like the cops over here, put a uniform on and their judge and jury lol.
Got to say LVD you hit the nail on the head there with facebook, why does it want to know all your personal information, why do they want to know where you work and you email address for it and telephone numbers, where you went to school, what bank your in, what street and house number you live at and the best one yet, please type in your email password (Facebook does not store any of this information) who in their right minds are going to give their email passwords to some app on there, you'd have to be thick to do that.
VR is a much safer place.
My space has just lost appeal to me so i don't go on it anymore
FaceBook i only add friends and family to keep in touch just like everyone else.as for as too much info i don't give it out
VR is the best of all has a few problems every now and again but what site doesn't cool topic by the way :)
They all have their merits. I like FaceBook because of FarmVille and MySpace because Dabbler and I play the Mafia games and such there...but in my opinion VR is the most interesting. Always something happening here.
However, being all my family is on FaceBook is why I joined there to begin with.
VB is why I stayed here at VR, Myspace is a site that I still maintain for the games, my first profile online was a myspace.
And Dabbler is my reason I stayed here too. He keeps this place very interesting. :)
p.s. re Facebook...the one thing I do not like about it is the inability to make a decorated profile like we can here.
I must agree This is the best site I have ever been on and it is because of the people here and the way the system works and it never gets boring. I have a FB for family members and to keep in touch. Myspace I stopped using because of spammers and getting phished.
I've got a myspace just for music but even that only gets checked about once a month since most of the bands I really like and follow are on vampirefreaks.
As for facebook, that's just for a small core group and even then, I'm always trying to find ways to ditch people (I hate that it's just a lazy way to snoop into my life for some people).
VR - I'm really and truly here for the people and the interaction I get. It is an extraordinarily unique place.
I love Dabs too, even though he thinks I,m an egotistical maniac but he is not the only interesting character; Oceanne, Aracon, Upir, Cabrion, Zombie, Severus, the Batt, Ncks64, Lord Baalnox,Lady Snowstrix, Bloodlife to name but a few, where else would you find such an eclectic mix of intelligent writers, musicians, religions, scientists, doctors, critics, enforcers, actors , crazies, slayers and of course silent watchers.
V.R. is truly unique and not to be taken for granted.
No other country I know of has this~
(Remember;Freedom ain't free)
~BOWS TO ONE AND ALL~
i have all three...my space just doesnt do it for me anymore, and it just feels cluttered.
face book just has a very clunky way of doing their site, so it just isnt comfortable for me.
vr is comfortable and i love it here.
after all...its the site for real vampires...and those that live to taunt them lol
a private chat feature would be wonderful tho.
(and i paid my annual dues this week! )
~W~
LordWolf: there is a private chat feature just go to chat and create your own room then invite whom ever you want.
I used to be on myspace, mainly because a lot of my family and friends were. I got into the games for a while, but they got to be nothing but drama. I haven't been on there at all in several months. never been on facebook and dont care to.
VR is more than just a social networking site with all the things to get involved in that have more meaning than just games. Plus there the fact that we get to help build the site by creating covens, mentorships and adding to the database. The way the forum is setup and having the database the site can be educational as well. I also find that with everyone on here being "different" they are less judgemental than other sites. I've been here over 4yrs and it never gets old. VR beats other sites hands down.
Wolvie
Alien Nation again I find myself addressing your obvious backhanded comments, leave your personal grudges out of the threads.
Never really cared for myspace. facebook, I use to keep track of family members and friends that live across the US and other places. Here well never had any issues here.
(Bows in utmost reverence)
In my opinion VR, Myspace & Facebook are different platforms. They can not be compared to each other.
Face Book with its games are wide open and used for fun & chatting. There is much more inflow of add requests.
On MySpace peepal creates their group of peepal via friends list. And they interact with them only.
VR is close community and be close to peepal who are not likely minded to gothic attitude.
Myspace example:
http://www.myspace.com/in_peace_withlove
Thanks for that info Wolvie, will be looking into that feature and I think a lot of other people will be doing to.
Well your right there AlieNation, I have spoke to a lot of very intellectual people on here and I can find an abundance of knowledge in the Covens, If I need to find something out I just post it up in the Alliances forums and within a few minutes someone has given me the answer or directed me to a website where it can be found.
Some how I don't think that would happen on myspace or F/B.
This is what I like about VR, you have the Forums where you can post up questions, debates and find people in other areas plus also find out events that you wouldn't ever hear of and you also have Chat so you can talk to friend. You can change your profile page to how you like it, add music and videos and pictures, As not featured on facebook, but in its defence it does have some good games.
Can't say what MySpace is like as I've never been on there.
I have facebook, myspace but i haft to say vr is the best for i am looking at it from a girl's point of view facebook and myspace anyone can say anything they want to you nasty or threatening you for what ever reason and nothing can not be done.but here on vr it is not tolerated so as a girl i feel safer talking, learning and making new friends because there are rules and people of both sexes that look out for everyone on vr period.and to me being a girl i feel safer, not only that people on vr have moyals and respect.
I have my few elders on myspace. they do not goon other sites they are typical to that and encircled on it and do not have much time to net. so this induce me to be on myspace too to remain in contact woth them. They are such as Honorable Ama Thiess an activist of sgi buddhism she is my teacher too coz in vampirism she gave me platform of awakening sector on vampirenest she was chair person in this sector.
I only got onto FB because a close family member moved across country. I am constantly getting game requests which I hate but have been found by a number of old classmates which is nice. But I love VR and all my new friends from across the world.
Personally, I look at it like this: Facebook I use for my "light" world, and VR is for my "dark" world
Of course they do cross a little bit, but never too much
I much prefer VR though. On facebook, there just isn't enough to do
my space is good facebook is better.. to connect with friends and family but vampire rave is like a second home to me..no one judges you here...for instance if i post some of my vr content on facebook people would probably freak out and call me insane!
So I always prefer Vampire Rave when i was on level 1 i wondered what would happen will I be able to adjust and is it spooky..but now its like...something I can't live without..!
Well MySpace I lost track of and interest a long time ago. I haven't been on there for more than a year I believe. It's boring to me now since everyone's on Facebook. Plus I hate the 2.0+ version styles they have. I would go back and use it if it was simple again with 1.0 styling like it was back when it first came out and popular.
Facebook, I get on only to really play some of the apps (but I don't give them money and I don't see why they want freaking money for games such as those). That and kind of try to keep in touch with some friends and family. But there's a lot of drama on there too and the friends I had in high school don't even say hello. It's almost pointless to go on there for anything but the few games I do play. And I HATE the chat on there. Every time I'm typing (like in reply to messages or posting in the forums on here) whenever a message pops through it always stops my typing and if I'm in the middle of say hitting backspace to erase a mistake, it goes back a page before. And that sucks when I've got a long post or reply and it erases it all. UGH!
And Vampire Rave I find I love so much more. There's many people on here that I can be myself around all the time. All my other friends I had from high school just don't understand the Gothic culture or vampires or anything else to do with elements that make this site wonderful. And I've never gotten bored with anything on this site. And I've learned much more about others and cultures and such on here. It's just an overall, much better place that I love to call home. *smiles*
I don't see that any of these sites are alike at all. VR is topic specific and it is a game as far as I am concerned with a social side to it. Facebook is sort of boring and my friends sort of coerced me to be on there and I can keep in better touch with certain things I am involved with. I have seen the statistics on favorite social sites and I never saw this one on any of the lists. FB is the most popular according to information gathered on the net. I find Twitter to be the annoying place quite honestly. MySpace is fine and I have profiles that are pretty specific and geared informationally to certain interests. I don't really see it as a site for bands but there are many there. I don't play any games on FB or MySpace and accept most of the time, no apps. Here I have no choice unfortunately, I have to play games and do certain things otherwise it affects others in a negative way. I would much rather have the choice to join what I wished and not be in competition with other groups within the site. I have no problem with advertisements or emails.
I use Facebook for events and to chat with friends of my country. I set it on private and don't have my real name and never had any of the issues mentioned.
Myspace-had it and deleted it. I might create another profile though, I think it's useful to search for bands.
VR-absolutely better, need I say more?
I like Facebook simply because I could find old school friends i haven't seen in years as well as old family members etc. I keep in touch much better that way and find out the news of what goes on in their lives. I stopped "liking" and playing the game apps.
MySpace i used to enjoy years ago with some of my closest yahoo friends but it got boring really quickly and lost interest.
VR, I have been off and on for years and it's got moments where I'm interested and sometimes not that much. If it wasn't for the high school drama crap people pull on here once in a while....
The intelligent brains and those that actually have something to enlighten others with, is what i look for in others and have found a few on here thus far.
If i had to choose which I liked better.....It would be a tie between facebook and VR....for me anyway.
LMAO!
I don't mind when people disagree with me...
but I do know that many people who are posting are bias
why? you're on the site... aren't you?
enough said...
The people who have negative things to say about it
left because of those things...
Like I said before... I doubt VR will hit a status like
Facebook or Myspace because of the restrictions and things that are forced upon members...
but I don't mind a small community...
Because lets be honest...
we probably only have 10,000 moderately active members on the site... and some are from people who have 2-3 account...
Not talking down VR...and I enjoy it myself...
I am just being 100% honest and realistic.
People dont wanna be FORCED to do something on the internet.
Real life has enough of that. LMAO!
I like the other sites just as much for other reasons...
They are all equally as fun... and since VR is such a tight
knit community... DRAMA is EVERYWHERE! and then you
have those people who hit Sire and think they own the world
becuase they became ACM or CM....
and that can be annoying...
but I noticed people who act like that have
never had rank on others before, so they aren't
quite leardership material then...
but...yeeeah... on FB or MySpace I never have to worry
about someone thinking they are bad ass and they can tell
me what to do cuz I am lower ranking than them. lol
so...yeeeaaaah.
But like I said before... I am ok with VR
I dislike a few things but it is what it is...
no such thing as the PERFECT social networking site...
[and lets face it... not very many vampyres here either...
lots who claim... but the numbers are few]
Drama there drama here, as if on other sites it doesn't happen!
Never have been anywhere that there wasn't drama. (RL included)
any site that has social interaction has drama. If someone is part of 2 things but likes one better that's preference not bias. VR is a niche site and doesn't have the sheer numbers that facebook and myspace do as a result. I can't say about facebook but I think VR has better social interaction than myspace as the only people that have requested to be my friends there are for game purposes. I have made far more meaningful friendships here on VR.
Ah but see Drama CAN be avoided if people were more neutral about other people's issues and more mature minded about how they respond to others. I rarily have these dilemmas but i find that majority of those that do, tend to get too deeply involved in areas that they could avoid to begin with.
I never said drama couldn't be avoided. I have had very little drama here. Many times drama is not from getting to involved but from someone being easily offended. I had a lot of drama on myspace because people got offended by something in a game. That's why I don't go on the site anymore.
GOC, I agree. No one likes to be forced into anything and they shouldn't be.
That is why they should read the site policies before they freely (of their own will) make a profile on this specific site.
Again, I have no sympathy for anyone who doesn't read, before signing on the dotted line.
I also agree with whoever said you cannot compare VR to myspace or facebook because, VR is not a social site for everyone. VR is for specific types of people i.e. people who claim to be vampires, people who enjoy vampire movies, those who love goth, those who are goth, those who consider themselves "dark" etc...
I choose VR mostly because it's pretty much a big lump of raw material to work with. The other sites are already so constructed that all you have to do is type in your name and the thing practically runs itself. Here I have something to play with, something to create with. It's a far more interactive medium.
I don't do Myspace. I thought the concept was foolish, I felt the same about Facebook. But I ended up making a Facebook account to keep in touch with friends and family that I cannot see on a regular basis.
I also met a very good friend on facebook out of the blue one day, so it has had its bonuses their as well.
VR I find is completely different from the two, in the best way possible. You don't need to find a group of like minded people to join and feel apart of. They are already here, on this site.
Facebook stinks too hard to work myspace alot better format but VR is still my Fav.
I started with Myspace back in 2004ish or 2005ish. I like it. It's easy to navigate and easy to keep friends in groups. All my writing friends are in a group, family is another, all those of alternative religions are in another etc.
Facebook annoys me to no end. Everything is crammed into one big pile of shit. It's disturbing and I don't know why I made a damn account. It's too congested. While Myspace is pretty cool with voicing your opinions, Facebook is like the kid that gets bullied. All the sissies whine and cry when you have something to say.
VR is pretty cool as everyone here has the same common interest (and if you don't know what that is, then your feet should be tied to a horse and you should be dragged butt naked over coals).
Aside from the roleplayers and those with awkward imaginations, VR is a great place.
I used to have a myspace & a facebook. Both were deleted withing a week of first joining VR. As for force inductions.... my view is the site is modeled after a vampire society. Vampires do NOT ask you before they turn you or bring you into the 'family' so to speak... so why should they here. As for it never having the status of Myspace.... honestly why would anyone want it to... I think VR is probably the most well thought out & run social network site out there.
i have friends on both myspace and facebook and whenever they ask me why i dont have one, they always get weirded out wen i tell them i have this site. but this site i feel is alot better. you dont have to worry about prissy people, yeah tehre are some everywhere you go, but ehre your surrounded by people that are jus like you, have the same interests as you, and you dont have to worry about people on here calling you emo or girly or anything like that. i feel the people on this site are much more open and friendly n i honestly love this site. not many people kno about this site so lets keep it that way!!!!
I hardly go on to myspace.
But I always have FB and VR tabs opens. I will admit I'm addicted to the apps on face book. For me I play them as away to unwind at the end of the day. I do have some friends from here on my FB and MYspace.
I have to agree with everyone about the two sites having add request rather than people being able to just hit add to friends list.
I also like VR for the journal...it gives me an outlet to vent about my day. Since I don't tell co-workers and family and such about being here I don't have to worry about what I say...I mean I don't use company name and full names and such.

I don't care for MySpace, but I love Facebook. I think it's awesome to have a site with no specific 'theme' where I can connect with my friends and family from all over. I can't do that here. Obviously I am a fan of Vampire Rave for its theme and benefits that are exclusive to it. This is not a place I ever expected to connect with 'everyone' in my life. Facebook and Vampire Rave serve their specific purposes for me.
i personally like vampirerave but i also like my facebook/myspace it keeps me in touch with the people i cant drag here willingly. i dont see a problem with any of these sites as of yet
I have all three. Personally I prefer Facebook. I used to love myspace and vr, but overtime I have basically lost interest in both. I have been trying to make more of an effort to visit vr. However I could honestly go weeks without it & I don't think I would miss it in the least. At one point I was completely VR addicted, just not anymore. My facebook is set to private so only close friends and family can see my info. I don't seem to have a problem with getting tons of spam from it either.
VR is full of losers whose lives are so bad they need to think they're vampires.
FB is full of cam whores.
MS has no one on it.
Vr is better I don't have facebook and I forgot myspace log in information.
basically i choose vampire rave because i can relate to most ppl on here n its more facinating.
i have a myspace an a facebook but i hardly ever get on them. there not really worth my time anymore unless i can connect with my family.
Yep, Facebook is great to find friends and have family on there. It is good for a lighter time. For me, anyway. But you have to edit yourself in many ways there and i don't quite like everyone seeing what you write on other's walls! Pfft. I don't like that people have to OK you to be friends. But it's a nice alternative and different feel.
Also, I made a hidden photo album where only a certain few can view with artistic pictures I'd rather my family not see. And if I wanted to, I could put full frontal in there and it be hidden. On here, we can't. Maybe someday though. =)
This is a site for different kind of people, and many are artistic and unique people. They are on Facebook too, but on here it can come out more.
Myspace sucks. I was on it and it just had too much crap on there, too many bands after you and spam from hookers. HA.
I DON'T like all the ads on Facebook. It's distracting.
Not ore than 5 years ago I did not even know how to turn ON a computer...let alone run one. ( Never took computer class in High school when it came available.) 80's ....never thought print would actually die.
(yeah , wait until all your digital crap goes to hell...at least I will know how to look something up in a real book!)
ANYWAY!
Thanks to someone showing me how to surf, I found a place called Vampire Rave. I was so very naive at the idea of an actual web page for Vamps and other types of dark children, and kindred spirits ,and I called upon those willing to help me in my venture. Everything I have learned here , has been my recreational computer foundation to date and to those who have helped me ....and you KNOW who you are ..........KUDOS to you all .....for helping me lay that foundation!
YES , I was hard to teach and I still have a ways to go but for those who had the patience to stay with me.....you are forever my friends.
Face Book to me is a by-product , used mainly for more personal connections and free advertising.
As far as VR:
Please bring back the games for house favor, and make stricter the rules for those who are stupid enough to not be honest and cheat.
Private chat: For all so we can say hi to our friends instead of messaging .
That is all for now.
Well checked it out and you can make a private chat room.
If you go into your Own Coven, Go in Chat and there is a Link to make your own Private Chat. [ Create New Chat Room ].
Not tried it out but if anyone does sort one out please let me know.
As I pointed out earlier you can make a chat room from VR chat if you are sufficient level or a premium member
I don't care for myspace any more. Two and half years of not caring.
FB.. kind of fun at first, till I got obsessed with the apps.
Now I can't stand it at all. Even all those people I had lost touch with over the years, and found on there, have moved on and lost touch. So i'm not intrested in it any more, and wish I never got on there.
VR... Ok I like it. It is all ways diffrent. And besides where else can you go and do the things on here that can't be done any where else?
i have all 3 of these as well as myspace and vampire freaks this is the only one that is like a sociaty. facebook is more game and app orientated and yearbook my space and vampire freaks are more dating orientated this is the only one were i feel at home with who i am and dont worry about what people think.
Have used both My Space and Facebook...did not really get into it so canceled both. I do like the society system of VR though, and the articles, database, and rating system. Ultimately though, I think it depends on what you are looking for!
To me VR is way better. I am on both Myspace and Facebook. Haunistly I don't get into them much. Only reason I got them two was to stay in contackt with one of my aunts in South Carolina from my dads side. And all my HS friends. Other than that I don't think them as apealing. But then I got on here and hello I can be me without the bloody govs knowing every lil thing about me or how I believe.
That and the people here are way nicer too.
Peace
