Has anyone had any paranormal Halloween experiences, and if so what was it?

Was on Halloween i had that bad expereince with theOujia board and it freaked me the hell out .. I was not believing in the thing and thought it was my girlfriend playing games with my head so to be a bitch i played along with her and what i thought were her games.. Till the Board outright said She dont believe... then i said huh... she didnt know what to say either as we hadnt asked it a question we were in the midst of thinking of what to ask... Then We asked it what it meant and it spelled out I will Proove myself .. This board did Proove itself and we were in public and The board said .. the Line.. moments later the Entire Lunch Line fell down to the Floor.. This was halloween and it freaked me out maybe coincidence but i sure as hell wont play with those things again

it wasnt really halloween exactly - it was the night after. i had gone to a halloween party on halloween and met a girl. i was with a couple of friends, and suggested we have a party the following night at my place. one of my friends was too busy, but my other friend said he would come with his girlfriend, and the girl i met there said she would come too.

the next night - november 1st - the girl turned up at my door and i let her in. we each had a drink of something - i think it was cider (it was a long time ago, i dont recall exactly what we drank).
my friend hadn't turned up, so the girl and i watched a movie whilst waiting.

after a while we got amorous and made love on the bed. although it was november, it was a very warm night, yet at the crucial moment of climax the room suddenly went icy cold. we got dressed afterwards and had another drink. still my friend hadn't turned up, and it was getting late, so the girl left.

there was no sign of my friend, so i decided to go to bed, but just as i was about to get ready for bed, there was a loud rapping downstairs at the back door.

i felt a bit pissed off that he would turn up at around 11 at night, but went downstairs. from the bottom of the stairs i could see through the back window to the back door, and there was nobody there.

"typical Tony - playing a halloween prank on me" i thought, and was just about to go to the back door when i heard the knocking again. it was a loud rap, but not on the back door. it was coming from the cupboard door - the small cupboard i kept my plates and cups in.

the only thing i could think of was that a large rat or cat had somehow got into the cupboard and was struggling to get out. nervously i walked towards the cupboard, not sure what to do. the rapping came again - as if someone was inside and banging on the doors with their fists - i was scared a s hell.

suddenly the cupboard doors flew open - but there was nothing inside except my crockery - none of it broken or even disturbed. i ran up to bed, terrified, and slept with all the lights on that night.

that's more or less it. there were strange experiences later, a few months later. but that is another story.

one halloween I woke up and all the candles in my house were lit

it's called trick or treat - it happens a lot, but there is a way to deal with it. these spirits are wanting a trick or a treat, so open the door wearing a really scary mask, and if they don't run away screaming (they do sometimes - it's hilarious), offer them some candies until they go away.

since halloween is my birthday, every year something weird happens in my house... about some years ago i had a ghost... or maybe a spirit... i dont know how to call it... and in my b-day party he always do something...

to my cousin and me when we were kids. On halloween day we stole plastic flowers off graves to give to our mothers. that night very weird stuff went down. The story is in my journal, called Halloween Blooms.

i had a really scary halloween experience once that turned out very unexpected. on the night before Halloween i was busy up all night at my sewing machine making a costume for the halloween party.

i was up way past midnight, so it was the morning of October 31st when all hell broke loose. my cat, who had been asleep on the sofa suddenly woke up and hissed. she growled at something i could not see, and started mewling. this freaked me out, but it got worse. she went completely wild, leaping around the room, howling, spitting and growling. i tried to pick her up, and got severely mauled in the process.

i wasn't sure if she was possessed by something, or whether some sort of brain tumour had driven her insane, but i had to do something, so i put on a thick coat and gloves, and tried to grab her and shut her in the cellar out of the way.

eventually she quietened down, so i dared to go down to the cellar to see what was happening. she growled and mewed a few times - then she darted into a corner, squatted down, and deposited something among the cobwebs. it looked too big to be a turd, and moved - it was a kitten! i didn't even know she was pregnant, and i suspect neither did she. she looked at it and hissed, then jumped onto the couch that i kept in the cellar, curled up and went to sleep.

i cleaned the kitten and tried to get my cat to accept it, but she just spat at it. i fed it warm milk with a pipette. the next day, i managed to get her to feed the poor thing, but she was always antagonistic to him.

I named him Samhain, and he was one of the most good natured cats i ever knew, and totally devoted to me. he died a few years back, jut two weeks before his 19th birthday. i still miss him.

I can't say I have had any experiences on halloween. very interesting on the ones that I have read tho. I'm all into paranormal experiences :)

One halloween i was in bed and i was hearing all of these strange noises outside my windows, i do not know what it was but it was probaly someone messing around outside or something...

A few years back I spent Halloween in Mexico. While I was there, there was a celebration where you had to take a shot of tequila with salt to get in. Anyway, soon after I left the party to go back up to the hotel room I saw small footprints indentations in the carpet going to all the doors in the hallway where my room branched off of. I rubbed the ones away next to my door and quickly went into my room. Over the next few minutes I heard intelligable whispers, which proceeded to scare the bejeebuz out of me, so I eventually went downstairs to rejoin the party. I don't know if it was a prank from the hotel staff/fellow vacationer, something actually paranormal, or just the tequila messing with my meds.

well I did have something weird happen to me on halloween a few years ago. I used to have a black cat name raven. times got bad and raven went and stayeed with a family member. suddenly one day i heard something scratching at my bedroom door. just like raven used to do. As i was walking to the door to see what the noise was I saw a black streak run from my bedroom door through my living room into my kitchen. my first thought was that it was a rat. as I go into the kitchen to look around my family member that was careing for my cat called. They said raven had gotten out and was hit by a car. it was a quick passing. I didnt find anything in my kitchen, I think it was raven saying good bye

halloween 1996 i was at a party with some good friends. they all decided that they wanted to have a seance with an ouija board. well i did participate in this seeing i was about half crocked, but they set a candle at the top of the board and while we was doing this seance, everyone moved back a second and then brought the board up sayin that they quit. i asked why and they told me to look at the candle.. well everyone knows that when a candle burns the wax goes down the candle... well this went straight out to the side. it went straight out about 6 inches...if i had beena little more sober, maybe it would of bothered me too lol

When I was about 10 or so my brother and I were doing the usual trick or treating thing. Nothing special had happened. We had just went home to get empty bags to go back out again. My brothers ran ahead to a house we were going to next... I lagged behind and a lady walked up to me and was talking to me as we walked to catch up to my brothers. This was on a very straight street with little to no brushes or anything like that on either side.

My brothers came running up to tell me to hurry up.. the lady at the house was giving great loot etc. Well they saw me talking as they ran up and asked who I was talking to.. so I introduced them to the nice Lady. They took me right home and I was unsure why. But they swore to my father that when I introduced them to the lady.. that I was alone in the road.

That was about the only thin I can think of that happened on Halloween.

Here is a strange but true experiance...

As most of you know by now, I live in Nola - Murder capital of the nation. On certain nights we go to a town nearby by the name of Thibadoux. There is a road in Thibadoux that cuts off to an old slave quarters, where a plantation used to be. It had burned down about 130 years ago. There are still several old slave houses standing now.

When we drive by there on certain nights, especially Samhain, we stop the vehicle, and turn out the headlights. I shite you not, we always see people walking around, candles in the windows, and doors open. Mind you, this place has been abandoned for about 70 years or so. When we go to turn the headlights back on, the only things we see, are boarded up windows and doors, and broken fences.

A bit further down the road, lay a sugarcane field, very thick on either side of the road, it...The road...Turns from dirt to gravel. We call the place Devils Swamp. Anywho, as we drive along the road no more than 10 miles an hour, as we are not risking a tire popping, we start to hear rocks being thrown at the windows, and windshield. We had a couple crack one night. But we saw no rocks.

We saw people walking in the forest after the sugarcane field, so we got out to see if they were lost...After we got out, there was no one their. We got back into the vehicle, and began to speed up. After we got onto the main road once more, we stopped at a local gas station. Just to examine the vehicle. Loe and behold, no scratches, or cracks on the windows, no dents on the vehicle...Just an handprint on the bumper near the muffler.

Needless to say, we saw some freaky shite...Sometimes we still do.

I guess it gives the impression that Louisiana is one of the most haunted states in the nation.

I've had two things happen to me on separate occassions.....1st was when i was about 13yrs old...i had a slumber party with friends, we were doing the candyman thing...i was the first to go as one it was my bday and two i was host of the party...on my fourth candyman, the lightbulbs in the house (some were on, some werent) exploded and the mirror in my sitting room fell to pieces just like that...was scary as hell!!

It was Halloween and I was living in my beach house in Florida. Well It was about 2-3am. Everyone was asleep and I had just started to doze off. My bedroom closet door flew open and then my bedroom window (which was open )slammed down and shattered all over me and my bed.
I screamed, my brother came in with his baseball bat and asked me what happened.
He ran outside and looked all over the property, he didn't find anything or anyone, but glass.

i can also tell the story at my grandma´s... a halloween night, celebrating my birthday ... all of us were in the dining room, with the lights off, ready to sing and blow the candles, when we saw some white figures in the backyard... through the window...

well i always seem to have something happen in my house on halloween every year last year all my lights went out and came back on and we all felt cold spots in our living room. I sure this year wont be any different kinda cool and scary at the same time.

They are a given around my place..both of our ghosts become very active and restless on Halloween. They tend to even freak out my kids with the moving of things and slamming of doors..so I generally let my kids stay the night with the grandparents.

on samhain,all the sprits of the dead relatives come back across the summerlands. it's always best to leave food on the poarch. makes all happy! if they aren't happy...bad things can happen!!!

i had a small experience in a nightclub one halloween. in my hellraiser days i used to always get dressed up for the halloween fancy dress part at the local disco - and usually got first prize. one year, as i was leaving the club and walking downstairs at the end of the evening, i felt someone rush past me on the stairs and push me out of the way - but there was nobody there. apparently this has happened to a lot of people, and some staff at the town all two doors away have also felt someone try to push them downstairs. one morning, a friend of mine who was working there and helping to clean up afterwards heard the sound of someone being sick on the stairs, but there was nobody there. he also swears that one of the big mirrors distorted as if it was flexible and someone was poking it from the other side.

it was that Ouija board, at a friends house, and a power outage, then a wind and rain storm.

i have not had anything paranormal happen to me but one the night before halloween i was seeing these shadows outside my windows all night long i do not know what they were.

Halloween is a frame of mind and an outlook on life. Does that make many or all of our Halloween events paranormal?

there is a castle called franklin castle on franklin in cleveland ohio the history behind it is great... anyways i always go down there with a camera and sit down there for a couple hours in my car and take pictures, i seen someone in the window on the top floor and the out side lights lit up, i wasnt near the yard i was across the street so i couldnt of let the sencors activate the out side lights that was a neat exsperience

one yar i was out side and it ws by a bus stop and some one got off and was in a gray jack with a hood so i could not se a face then out of no where stared runing to me and i took off runing in side my house and looked out ym window but no one was there and no dogs wher barking

I thought Halloween was really no great difference to other days.... and if you did experience something it was because of what you did, not the date!
In Australia Halloween is no big thing!!!

In 2005 on Halloween our front door opened and the power flickered...not sure what the hell caused it. There was a breeze outside but nothing strong enough to blow the door open.

i've had a bunch of paranormal experiences on halloween. it's the day of the year where a bunch of unexplainable things happen.

I have never had any paranormal halloween experiences. October is a bad month for me in general though. Oftentimes it has deaths of those truely close to me occuring. I become really iritable and guarded in october, because i've had so many bad experiences, but i've been fighting really hard to try and clear up whatevers causing this bad month and last year it wasn't so bad. So I don't know if that has anything to do with halloween, the time of year, whatever.

i heard something follow us and then i turned and there was nothing there
i though it was some kid trying to scare us.. but it wasn't
so we kept walking
then i heard it again
i turned and there was this dark figure
right behind me
i screamed and then it floated through me and i passed out
when i woke i couldn't speak
i was too overwhelmed....
for the next three weeks i had weird dreams about old Indian legends

One Halloween a friend of mine and i went to a cemetary.. This was a normal thing for us but we decided that we were going to put wild flowers on all teh really really old graves and I swear when we walked out of there at like 2 in the morning it felt just like we were floating.. Like something was carrying us home.. It was amazing really..
I also had an experiance with phantom headlights on halloween one year..

My Ghost are for hire on Halloween. I have designed and operated full interactive ghost houses and ghost paths, as well as parlor haunts, and "on site possessions as well. I have two girls that do a very convincing possession, one has a hidden voice trick that would make you swear it came from behind you.

Some of my halloween decorations disappeard and there noises i haven't heard before

some weird stuff did happen...

got some strange messages.....

but nothing too strange to register as scary.

I had already went to bed. I was laying there in the dark and felt like something was close to me. I rolled over and there was something that looked like fog above me. No particular shape and it wasn't glowing but I could see it in the dark. It then proceeded to float into the wall. I got up, got dressed, and went to spend the night with my friend.

Personally, I haven't ever have anything really odd ever happen to me on Halloween. . Halloween is derived from an ancient holiday called "all Hallows Eve" and "Sam Hain". With the word "eve" in there, doesn't that mean the day of spirits is on Oct 28th?

I don't believe in the paranormal but about 15 yrs ago...seems less time...

My best friend had just become a father,he and his wife were living with her family til they got on their feet...anyhow...they claimed the house was haunted or cursed or something to that affect.

It was Halloween weekend and he asked me to stay over,wanting to see if I felt or noticed any of the things they were seeing.Nothing "strange"happened while I was there but they swore the place was haunted...even claimed the womans new boyfriends exwife was a witch....and she placed a curse on the house because she didn't like the woman or her family.

when i was in 3rd grade i had a halloween sleepover part5y/ agoodbye party for one of my friends that was moving away...when we went to get changed into our pj's at like 8:00 (it was actully a day or 2 before halloween) my mirror jumped off the wall wall and broke on the floor as lauren the first person to go in my room walked in

soory computer being a reject, then last year, while trick or treating, i got a bad stomachach(and no i had had no candy yet), like someone was stabbing me fo like 2 minutes, untill my friends and i were no longer in front of a certain house. then when i got home, and my sister and i were sorting and trading our candy(yes we are 14 and 17 an dstill go trick or treating) all the lights in the living room suddenly flickered on and off....the only other thing that happened was the next night (nov 1)at our halloween party we got to play spin-the-bottle- pas-the-glowstick, but that was the years treat vs. the previous part being the trick!

Not really. Witching hour on Halloween has always been midnight, but I found out that it's not, witching hour is actually 3am, the total opposite of when Jesus died

I once did a spell that I found in a Grimoire. It was "Raise The Dead" To be done on Halloween night when the the veil is the thinnest.

I took my gf at that time with to try it out. We stood in front of a mausoleum. When the spell was done you could hear the creaking casket as it opened. Then you could hear foot steps. And out of nowhere there were thuds on the door. Creeped me the f*** out. She ran.

My friends and I were fooling around with a witch board and one of them was trying on the side to do callings. At one point all of our candles went out and all the mirrors in the room started to fog up. The others got up and ran, but my roommate and I stayed there. All you got was a feeling that you were being watched and like you walked into a room were everyone was pissed off and the air of the room was all tense. That trailor never felt the same again after that. Everyone was always getting into fights and you never felt at home or safe by yourself again.

Well I was staying at my granny's house one night on Halloween and she has a lot of bedrooms so me and my sister had separate rooms. Well I couldn't sleep needless to say and I was walking around the house around midnight and I kept hearing something outside so I went out there and there was a horse just standing there nobody around and it had red eyes then I looked away to see if I saw anyone else and there was nobody so that is all.

i have seen so much paranormal activity in my life it would be hard to narrow it down to just halloween i think it is more on how perseptive you are to it

I don't know there are so many, Ive had the quija board expirence, it really scared the hell out of me. I have had a person come into my life for one halloween and disapear the next day, I have also had a friend pass away and then swear I see them on halloween.

i remember once when i used a ouiji board and the eye piece went flying into the woods, we could not find it anywhere... a week later i found it in my top dresser drawer, after that things started to end up missing.......like the one time i was putting food away after supper - home alone - i set the lid to the container down and turned my back to face the stove, by the time i turned back to grab it..... it was gone

I have never really had one on Halloween, its more of a day for me, nothing great about it. Now new years is a great time to find something paranormal

I've found that in the case of paranormal activity, hallowe'en is perhaps one of the quietest nights!

Besides, who knows if what they see on hallowe'en, if anything, is real? Most people are mildly spooked anyway so any encounters can't really be classed as reliable :-)

I think what Frightens people mostly it the idea of something happening, the mind can play tricks on ones self.

But thats not to say something couldn't happen I try to always keep an open mind anyway.

no i have not i think durring halloween the experiences are more of a nature of wishing since its already set in your mind that its halloween and something will happen that you might be scared of
i find more authentic experiences happen throughout the year on any day but i think it is possible to have a experience on halloween it just really depends of the situation and circumstances.

What makes a Halloween paranormal experience different from a regular paranormal experience?

I had on a halloween when i was 18 years old.. mind you i lived in a ole old farm house.. I heard in the oldest part of the house a moan and i know for a fact no one was home but me. I ran to the other part of the house grabbed the tv remote and tried to watch tv until my folks came home and then told them.. They didn't seem bothered by it.

yea i've had some creepy ones. I always feel followed on halloween yet i'm at peace on that day more than any other day. I "see" things on halloween. Things that werent thier before. A lot of blood too. I dont know maybe I can only see them on that night because the bridge between the living and the dead is able to be crossed. I'm not sure but i'd rather not go all in detail on exactly what i saw. Its not something i like to look back on.

one Halloween me my girlfriend and some friends had a party and we ran through the graveyard down from her house and brought something back home with us.. anyone who walked by a certain spot in the hall it felt like you were pushed away

I decided one year to contact my great grandfather through his type writer. So I began with questions and he would answer. Well I asked if he would leave and go to his resting place and the type writer got the eletrical smell and it spraked so I put it away but during the night my tv would come on I ended up unplugging it and it still came on. Also my room was his old office and the door kept opening and close and it those old sliding victorian doors and they were very heavy. So in all I went a slept outside in my truck

I remember one Halloween I was doing something the mirror when I looked up my face had changed and my hair had turned a deep red *my natural colour is a dark brown almost black* it never happened again.

A paranormal halloween experiance that I have had would probably be when me and a grounp that I was in desided to create havoc in a 1800's house that has been desurted and hasnt been touched since the owner had killed herself. While we were doing this there was alot of crazy crap that happened. Like, for instance, the house began to shake and we saw about 3 spirits. I was possesed by one unknowingly and i woke up in a grave yard the next day with blood all over me. Crazy ass night much?

I honestly haven't had one myself.

Although what I have to wonder is what would make one happen on Halloween so different from one that happens any other day? Would it be worse ... or?

on halloween it is believed that the our world and the spirit world are at its clossest and that the spirits have more power on our side than usual.

Don't believe I have ever had one, though, I have a picture of our daughter in the hallway of a friend's apartment building, trick or treating and there was a ghost in front of our daughter. It was in a smoky, whispy form and it was neat. =)

PS--We like to go to cemeteries on Halloween and take ghost pictures, catching orbs and things like that. Neat and fun.....if it's not too cold!

i saw a man looking in my window

there is a road called michelle rd and a girl was raped and killed .. well the neighborhood started hearing her voice crying and screaming well shortly after.. the people moved off the street the houses got torn down everytime u go on this street you see and or hear things and you get this weired feeling inside you.. well anyways me and my b/f went there one halloween just to see what would happen... well my car broke down at the corner of the street, my b/f threw up he said his stomach felt like it was being squeezed we pushed the car about 1/2 mile to get away from the street and we got in the car and started smokeing a cigarette all of the sudden the back tire went flat we didnt even hear it go flat we tried to start the car and it started no problem....

One Halloween i was like 12 years old i went down this old driveway of this house that was to be haunted.. I got up to the door and rang the bell and the door opened.. No one opened it it just opened.. I do think the wind did it but it still was freaky..

Eventually when people spend Halloween with me, and friends (friends they seldom actually meet but they are actually physically there.) they will be spooked, they will be forced to question what they witness. Eventually people come out of the wood work people that appear to know things about them. All in the name off entertainment.

Was it a ghost or spirit? Or just ... a guy?

Or a well crafted effect? Haunted houses are fun and all, but when the audience doesn't know they are in a haunted house, it is a real blast actually.

at the end of a party one time I had a spirit take over my body and I got sick and thru up no wait that was the beer....

It was the strangest thing. On halloween all these kids in my neighbourhood seemed to become mysteriously covered in eggs, flour paste, toilet paper, fish sauce, and other horrible things.

Quite odd really.

I do know that there is a story in my town about a woman who went crazy on Halloween night and murdered her two young children and then herself in a canyon on the outskirts of town. I've searched our library newspaper and found the article where it says she did it. She and the children are said to haunt that area around Halloween.

I don't know that I believe it...however I also don't go hanging out down there around Halloween either on the off chance.
