in life things seem to be real yet unimaginitive.
in death thins seem to be fluidly to real and to the point.
when in fact where is the truth and where can it lay to rest your opinions on this would be greatly interesting.
I think death is a reality. It is really out there and when you die that is it, there is nothing left.
"in life things seem to be real yet unimaginitive."
I cannot disagree with this statement more. If this is how you feel, then you need to turn off the computer and go outside, go and sit in silence for an hour and watch what happens around you.
Life is incredible, the breeze, the sky, the earth under you. We are on a rotating planet that is so alive it is overwhelming.
In death, no one knows what happens, death is the end of what we experience here. Is there something more beyond it? perhaps...
Is there more truth? Maybe..It would be nice to get all the answers when you die.
But I prefer questions...
Everyone dies, but some choose to show themselves to those still living. That is where the undead comes from.
So if you don't understand that I mean everyone is undead when they die, but some keep their undeadness from the living. So they are dead to the people living, because they think the undead are dead.
Now I've just confused you haven't I?
well I feel once you die you actually just go to another plane of exsiting as in the spirit world or heavenly perspective I think it just depends on what you believe in
interesting comments so far but if ya think i was to be confused by the statments left you are sadly mistaken. however to turn my computer off would be a waste of my time to sit here and let ya rammble and babble all day yet the opinions are ok. but to patronize me is another effect within its self.
Heh heh well I do think most people are here under the impression that they can voice their opinions.
not everyone is going to agree with you.
Don't you think that if everyone had the option to be seen by the living, a lot more spirits would choose to do so?
I mean that would be interesting to make a poll question about that, if you were dead and you had the option to be seen by the living in ghost form, would you choose to do so?
I would think a lot of people would say yes...but then why aren't there more "ghosts"?
True, but most living people aren't very observant, and may not notice or choose not to see spirits and ghosts and such.
I like arguing. But it seems I will probably lose this dissagreement.
well no I'm not arguing with you I'm just wondering if you would have any idea why they haven't been noticed more.
I don't know, death is a mystery to all of us...maybe that's a hint to focus more on life? :P
my thought is when you are dead there is nothing else, how can anyone seem to think that there is anything after death? Have you been there personally to see it?
i personally have seen death not once but twice.
tech, it cant be explained yes you die blah blah blah but to put a face to it is impossible. this so called angel of death that dresses in black robes is only a human depliction of death.
however the light you see in crossing or the darkness you see in crossing is actually death in wake.
you do pass thru many fazes before crossing over learning from experiance and seen it three times well i can say i liked it but cherish life as well. think of it as an oxymoron but to be scared of death is to be scared to die
Though death is a reality for the people on this plane of existence, after an earthly death the spirit lives on.
You've experienced almost dying...not death in itself. Permanent death.
Some scientists have theorized that the "light" is just the brain hallucinating under all the stress it is going through.
Or it's just the paramedics shining the flashlight in your face.
well i am not scared to die, personally I have seen it like you twice. so I am not scared of death, in fact I would greet it with open arms.
ah but you asume ive almost died i actually died on the operating table nice to think i didnt die.
good going your asumption lead you no where but hey if you think you know me so well let me hear more lol.
doctor records show that i did in fact die on the operating table.
glass stuck in my *** proves it lol.
however im greatfull i healed so well nice to know i got something watching me lol
But that seems like claiming you swam a river when you only sat down in the water.
At least to me. There are different levels of death, obviously when you pass a certain point, there is no coming back.
You came back, otherwise you wouldn't be talking here...and...that would be kind of creepy.
Personally I find far less than “unimaginative”. I don’t even think that our brains are capable of imagining life and all its wonders. If I had a whole uninterrupted lifetime to do nothing but soak up the beauty that life is it would not be enough time. As for death we don’t know what it is.

No.. you didn't die.
The clinical definition of death is the complete cessation of neurological activity in the brain stem. If this happens, you're officially dead.
If this doesn't happen, you're not dead yet.
And obviously, due to the fact you can type on a keyboard, you didn't actually die.
Now, what Morrigon said is accurate. Medically speaking, the "bright light" sensation people experience NEAR death (notice the "NEAR") is the brain beginning to shut-down, coping with the loss of oxygen and stress of trying to survive.
Same thing with "life flashing before my eyes" experiences. The brain, coping with the situation begins to release memories at a frantic pace.
You didn't die.
If your doctor told you that you died, he's being overly dramatic and should be subjected to prostate exams by a doctor with no hands.
well for starters an undead life meaning in a living existance or just a dead life meaning dead of course however opinions are welcome as i stated
and like your other member had stated there are many stages of death i wish expiriences like mine others can share however.
like i stated yes i did die doesnt mean i am dead now pepole have been brought back from death while being operated on or just the tipr alone in the ambulance.
in all aspects we are all correct and yet wrong about the situation.
so yet again i do say this i do agree about the stages of death being in may forms it can be and how grotesque it can become.
yet in life with every action leads to reaction.
I do believe in life after death.
I believe in immortality.
I agree with Birra :P
When I said there are different levels of death, I should have worded it better.
You are not dead until you go past the point of no return.
you can be brain dead. but your heart is still going...I don't think you can know what it's like to be dead when you're still alive right now.
I agree, but there is still that one level of dead, where everything stops. but for some reason you are either brought back to life or just came back on your own. In any case I think there is nothing there when you can not come back.
It's all reality. We all just see that whatever we don't have is better.
also to be brain dead you are still alive so that is thrown out the water so in any case to be actually dead is to just die and find out lol.
and yes there are stages to how long a person can actually be dead for to be quallified to be brain dead.
a vegie if you wanna call it that.

I agree with Morrigon!
That's the nail on the head right there... you're not dead until your dead, and if they could bring you back.. you weren't dead.
Stop being dramatic.
lol dramatic lol it was to be used for opinions i cant help if the situation is taken within another direction out of the gene pool lol dramatic asuming will get you zzzzzzzip
Let it be known that I did not understand a SINGLE thing you just said.
Honestly...what was that?
and let's get back on the topic here instead of discussing what you went through.
When i die i want my soul to go to juggalo city burry me 6 ft deep and show no pitty put 2 hatchets at my feet and on my chest and tell my homies i did my best
LO FOR LIFE BABY
Death is real and what happens after we die no one knows.
I'm sorry but I don't think the original post makes much sense.
I think I've got the jist of what you're trying to say though.. maybe. Life is an amazing thing, this planet we live on is truely incredible and awe-inspiring, most people these days just don't seem to notice or appreciate it. Especially people who spend their whole lives in a city.
No one can tell you what happens after death, so let's just assume that once you're dead you're dead and there's nothing more than that. So, enjoy and experience life while you can, for there is SO MUCH out there to see, do, and know.
I think reality exists in/on many planes, perhaps they overlap, who knows....it's easy to think this life is not real.....but hey it's real enough.
...What?
I can't make out what you are talking about.
But reading the posts, I think I understand.
Dead is dead.
Once dead, there's no coming back.
People have been brought back, yes.
But that was most likely in the early stage of death,
but you aren't dead quite yet.
They may have said you died,
but you where probably only half dead.
Which means your body was only beginning to shut down.
I still don't even know what you are talking about in the first post.
:P
I agree with morrigon that life is amazing and if you look beyond the negative we get bombarded with via the media on a regular basis, start looking with our eyes open to new possibilities then, your imagination will run wild with the possibilities life has to bring.
As for death, I don't believe its a final ending, that your just dead that's it. There is too much evidence of life after death, people coming back with the exact same experience of a near death experience, not to mention past life memories.
The body dies, thats all the soul, moves on and continues its journey until it completes all its tasks and finally moves on to a new level of existence.
This is what I believe and I don't expect anyone else to believe it.
I believe death is very real..and when it comes its done...thats it
i thinhk life is reality...
i believe in reincarnation
no one knows what really goes on
or what will happen
I think after death, I will go to Valhalla, where I want to be. So I life life to the fullest with no fear of death, because Vallhalla awaits me.
not everyone is going to agree with you, and to say everyone's response is"babble" is rude. so why did you even ask the question.
common respect goes a long way.
the only thing incredible about this is that
'Morrigon' is arguing a a case.
Thats amusing!!!!!lol
i kno at one point in time im going to actually die phisically but mentally ill be undead cuz my sperit will linger on..but every one is different on there opinins to this subject
I always prefer to think of death as a birth into the next existance. In that light I would have to consider NDE to be FALSE LABOUR.
If one actually died; why would one want to be shoved back into the physical vagina? It makes no sence.
Then I ponder Lazarus, and I am cafluffled.
I think the next world is an expanded existance... some of the limitations (ie space/time/physical reality are lifted... our training wheels removed.
Death (IMHO) is an expanded reality, and the lfting of our limitations will allow MOST to appreciate what they could not while here.
well in my oppinion, when you die, you'll just die. no heaven nor hell. when you die, your brain dies which means your imagination is no more. you all can agree and disagree if you want.
thats a bit like tolkien in the above response....
personally, um i think there is nothing after death at all, we die thats it, there is no undead, or life after death in my view, though the real test and truth is when you actually die...no one really knows...until then.
I believe after u die there is spirit world
and the spirits are unrested after they die because they left there loved ones
and i believe death is reality and life . You still live after u die,
Death is as real as life is....what happens to us after we die we dont know.
I think that death is a big reality but as far as what comes later who knows so many people have their ideas or beliefs of what there is after but who can tell for sure
when we die that is it there is no real there is no fake it just is what it is and we must except it!
Death is a natural part of life. It is a portion of the circle. I believe that we reincarnate.
i have to agree with you that when you are dead your dead and there is no coming back.
Reality is completly based on perception. What you concieve to be real - is real to you. Not everyone has the same reality because not everyone has the same perception.
What is real is totally up to the person experiencing such stimuli.
ya your right. not everyone believes in the same thing. we are all different and are beliefs are to. if we all were the same it would be a really messed up world
I think that it is possible we keep coming back after death to learn new lessons about life otherwise I can see no other reason to be here at all
Morrigon, has anyone ever told you that you are brilliant? I step aside and let the experts debate this one.
i believe once you die you do keep coming back but in different forms each time. You may die one time and come back as human and another you may come back as an animal.
rephrase
everyone dies - except you.
you will remain immortal for the whole of your life.
This life is very real.....but after death I believe the other side is more real then this one!
there is the possiblity for life after death but not the way you'd think, its children really that make us live on.
