Many people trust the army to keep the peace (or at least keep them alive.) Likewise, they trust doctors to make and keep them healthy. Lawyers are a bit of a grey area. Most people trust them if they are working for them and not the opposition. They at least trust them to keep them out of prison. These are people you want to be on your side but is it possible for masses of them to be a hinderance rather than a help?

People saw that there's too much "evil" in the world so do you think it's possible for there to be too much good?

Lets see a world without because their are toomany soldiers, good health for everyone because ppl choose to heal and OMG a law system that would work???

I don't even think now in this day and age their is even a average amount of good and if there is it is not even recognised and appreciated when it should be so no there is no too much good (theres bein an interfeering influence but that is different)

Do you know that this question is interesting? Yes there is so much evil in this world and I would have to say that seeing the good might be hard to see but I think the good is spread out and people can’t see it all in one spot. I do have faith in the human race and it will overcome all the problems we are facing but time is the question and do we have enough of it? Yes there is good in this world and just as much as there is evil. For every action there is an equal reaction.

Doctors,Lawyers,Militarymen/women... dang the trashman and the mailman, the guy that works at the liquor store.. whoever.. are human.. and are evil..just as all are.. tell me how can there be too much good? To answer the question, No, there is not too much good, however there are too many do-gooders... Good is a perception, an opinion, Alot of people think they are doing good however are actually causing harm, eg the witch trials

I don't think there is enough good .. there's not enough localized good in the world, people being kind to one another, their neighbors .. etc.. helping each other out. I think too many people live in their own little worlds and don't give a rats arse about anyone else .. that whole saying of "Do unto others as you'd have done to you ..." I think has gone right out the window ... unless of course people treat other people like crap because that is the way THEY liked to be treated ... some how I don't think that's true ... I think that most people WANT to be treated good, but over the years from generation to the next, old ideals and common courtesies have not been passed on ... is there too much good in the world ... no quite the opposite .. there is NOT ENOUGH good in the world ...

If there are too many lawers, and soldiers still fight for peace then it's a given, that there is too much good and not enough evil in the world. After all it's not how much evil is too much, it's how much evil is not enough.

I agree that there is not enough good in the world today and I also feel that there could never be too much good. That would be virtually impossible. I know that in most cases it is a challenge to find the good in people, but I feel it is good to keep searching for that good as everyone has good in them. I am finding it more difficult to stay positive in a world where I am surrounded by negative people. It is no longer fashionable to be good all the time as society doesn't quite accept that any longer. The evil of the world get more attention, also which is not fair, but it is fact. Just watch the news and you will see.

Example: A man with many convictions of reckless driving gets into an accident that kills two small boys and the mother of the car gets hospitalized and the media spent more time telling you about the man who caused the accidents and listing all his priors than the woman and the boys.

So, in short what I guess I am saying is that society is forced to recognize the evil more often that the do-gooder.

When you think about it, all of Al Quida (sp?) think they are doing good by killing us (mostly americans) because they think that we are infidels. All of the zealots are holier than thou and anything out of "their norm" is evil.

Then you can think about all of the witch burnings way back when. The "good" citizens thought the "witches" (I put that in quotes because not everyone was) were evil so they killed them.

The problem with achieving peace is that both sides think they are fighting for good, if there was less good that means that people would be consciously fighting for evil, and eventually one side would win creating a form of peace.

We have so many solidiers because we obsess with war, and are constantly waiting to be attacked by others. We have so many doctors as we are always predicting the end of the world, and our own demise, and we have so many lawyers as we are constantly waiting to find a way to attack someone else for financial gain... if we all stopped assuming that everyone else was evil, then maybe there would be a little less evil in the world.

it may sound stupid,but i think there is to many bad people. this is why all the good things in ower life sometime turns in a realy bad way.

Im not sure on this one. Too many soldiers thing i agree with. I know it would put a lot of people out of a job but i believe firmly in world peace. Something so easy but yet so unachievable it is ridiculous!!! Doctors are here to heal us and i believe as long as they try to keep Shipmans's out then there cant be enuf doctors!! As for lawyers yes many are corrupt but i believe the solution to that is impossible the most we can hope for is a proper goverment but these are things that will never happen, so i dont think we shud worry about things we cant change, unless some people here are planning on becoming politicains then be my guest try and change the world, but i think we as a planet are beyond help :(

Good and Evil are subjective terms. Truth is subjective. We all see and process everything differently. Being an individual gives us that.

Good and evil doesnt always balance out in what we see as an immediate future or past, but the history of the world is longer than any one of us and can take lifetimes in order to equal out.

Can I please just point out that I wasn't saying that I believe there is too much "good" in the world. I live somewhere that some people think the best way to react to a murder is to kill the killer (with their own hands.) I just wanted to see what others thought.

It can happen having to much good. One problem in having to much good. We wouldn't know what to do with it. Our lives revolve around pain and suffering that when a ray of goodness falls upon us we celebrate. So having to much good now will probably destroy us !!

Yes I think there can be such a thing as too much good the cosmos is desinged to run with every thing ballenced.Should either side ever gain a truley long term upper hand it would offset that ballance and throw things into true chaos not the limited turbulance every body seems to think is so chaotic.There must be light to dark,death to life,sorrow to joy ect. For one means nothing without the other.

There is not to much evel or good everything is ballanced armies can't exist without war but they are needed for piece. doctores can't exist without health iissues and as for lawyers without crime they are not needed for much of anything. if we lived in paradice then you wont need any of them but yet they are supose to be good. thats something to think about

I believe there is good and evil in everyone. I think it is cause and effect that leans us to one side or the other. I feel that there is much good in the world. But the problem is we don't stand united. It is because of this fact that we may eventually all fall.
