Ok, the other night i went to a friends house and we were on the ouija(i think thats how u spell it) and then we ended up doing that "light as a feather, stiff as a board" thing. well while we were doing that something wierd happened.

the way i describe it may sound wierd to some but its the only way i know how....

what happend was i started to breathe heavily(im not sure why), then my chest tightened and it was hard to breathe then...this next part may make me sound crazy but i dont care. but after all that..and while we were still doing it...i felt the presence of my father. My father died when i was 12.

so if someone can possibly expain what it was that happened so i at least can understand it. Im up to listen. And i know i may sound crazy but im not sure why that happened so that is why i ask.

It could be that you contacted your father while doing the ouija and then conected with you while doing "light as a feather, stiff as a board".

Apparently, you contacted your father or maybe someone else. I would think it was your father myself.

well those boards do have strange occurences but be careful because spirits are not always as they seem

i have read that ouija board can be very but very dngerous and that most of the time the spirite your talking to in not the spirite he wants to show

The ouija board can be a very dangerous thing to mess around with, atleast that is what I've learned from the experiences I've had.
As for feeling the presents of your father. Hopefully it was him, maybe he was coming back to let you know he is still there for you.
It's amazing though, how a person from behond can reconnect with someone who is still living. I've had simular feelings about my step mom. I went and had it look into, the person I went to see said it was her, and she was there letting me know that even though she has pass in body, she will always be there in spirit.
I'm not a pro at this, but chances are it was your dad.

I just want to tell you that it is very likely that you reached your father while dabbling on the Ouija. I think you should be very careful though, the board you are playing on may look and seem harmless, yet it isn't. It is a very dangerous portal. Not the best tool to use if you want to contact spirits from the other side.

It may seem fun at the time, but there are very dire consquences from using this. I personally have had a few bad situations occur while using this board. It isn't always the person/spirit that you are looking for as well. It may seem like the person, but in most cases it isn't.

Just be careful and try not to anything to daring on it, you will most likely regret it. I am sorry for sounding like a mother, but I have been there before so I only know....

I'm no expert, but I do beleive that just about anything can happen. But like everyone else said, be careful with that kind of thing...I have heard that its not always so friendly.

when you do this maybe you was thinking about him sometimes when i think of my lost loved ones i intend to see them and feel them around me is just the "Naked eye" tends to get away with you. SPiritual stuff is real and that he wanted ot come and tell you not to worry about him he really loves you and you should just relaxe next time. Try to get a glass of water and meditate n the dark befroe doing these things, relaxe your mind. WHen you think negative"the devil" will come to you but when you think "Positive" nice htings come to you . I've messed with a quija board before and it was a fun experience but people got to be careful. You may have contacted your father. I can only give you one warning be very careful you might get more than you asked for.

I dont think you called your fathe rvia the ouija board....one's loved ones sometimes remain around to protect and watch over one......maybe during the "light as a feather...", you focused hard and as a result, you were able to feel your Father's presence.
I could be wrong, but thats my take one the matter...

It may have been your father however you have to be so very careful when using ouija as you can open a portal for anything, some spirits are good 'impersonators'. I always use protection spells etc and i never do it in my own home

You might have opened a door way to the spirits while playing the ouiga. Your father may have crossed over a brief moment. It seems to me that your father is always around. The game you were playing light as a feather etc. requires a lot of concetration almost like medatation. You may have just felt you father's presence !!

marketing of the oiuja board as a toy is one of the worst ideas in centuries. for a Sensitive or Gifted but untrained person (or in some cases even a trained one) they spell nothing but trouble. honestle i dont think anyone here is oging to be aboe to tell you exactly what happened, since we were not present, but likely you contacted SOMETHING. wether it was your father or something else pretending to be your father remailns a question. i dont suggest you experiment further to find out. you opened a door inside yourself and allowed something to cross over into this realm. if you and your friends all seem to be ok count yourself as very lucky. contacting the dead is no laughing matter.

what i do suggest is you do is find someone to train you. even if just to protect yourself. once spirits have noticed that you are a gateway, even a benevolent one, you are bound to start attracting more. ht eplace of the dead is full of things that would rather not be there, and many im sure that would take advantage of an innocent to get out.

It seems to me that you have contacted your father through your actions that night... If you had a very strong connection with your father while he was living, then I'm sure you still have a strong connection with him in his death in some form or fashion.

I feel your father's pressence became stronger to you cause you open up the spirit world, and I am sure he is always around to protect you, Yet when you use the board it does just that~~ open up where any spirit may become present and believe me it is not the way you want to go cause they are not always as they seem, you have to remember that severe EVIL is out there and opening a door can be very unpleasant for some one~~ I have experienced some and I no longer use the board~~EVER!~~~

It is possible you made contact with your father.... but it's possibly something else.

I am not a fan of Ouija (especially the infamous "Parker Brothers" format)... it is a largely uncontrolled spiritual conduit, and any number of spirits in the area may use it to communicate... as such you never know who it really is on the other side. Spirits can be a mischevious lot, so I would be very careful about who it was you made contact with... especially if you get any more "odd" moments that happen later

Oujia's are very dangerous they attract all sorts of nasties..If you felt your father there it might not have been thru the Oujia at all but him trying to stop you from accessing the Oujia...The only people I have seen able to use those are highly gaurded by spell and a house that has been cleaned out of harmful spirits yes guys I put down I Believe in God...I was raised by a Satanist and used to be Wiccan so I do have some knowledge about these things

I stopped messing with the ouija long ago. Perhaps your dad was trying to even protect you with his presence. You just dont know. I think there is definately a bit of danger involved without a proper guide. Use care.

i hear those things can leave a room haunted for ever after.....ive never done one and im scared that the other person will mess with me or that i will get the real deal and i dont think that would be very pleasent most lost spirits are mean ones...

I agree they can and are dangerous, MY mother is/was full blooded Indian( amer.) and the last time we used one my mother came in the room and the damn thing flew across the room and ~ this is no lie the pointy thing actually cut her neck and left a scar forever~~ Believe me they are not something to MESS with unless you know how to protect yourself~~~ be careful if you venture again**

Quiji (Sp?) boards like anything else that opens you up to potential danger should be apporached with caution. (Yeah i know I probably sound like your mother) But common sense i hope dictates that you don't jump in bed with a stranger with out protection the same could be said in this case.

You could have contacted your father, I often have talks with mine since he passed away 5 years ago. Perhaps he has been there all along and because of your state of mind at the time it was the first time you realized it.

What I was wondering was... Once you use a Ouija board and open the porthole in a given spot...does it stay forever open there or does it close as soon as you finish?

ouiji boards are open gateways without a definate close, when one invokes the gateway tat has no set closing then it creates a doorway. Specified energy such as spirits familar to us is often drawn to it as well as other energyies that coinside with the emotions we project.

You say you were breathing heavy? Perhaps someone or something else was attempting to come through & your father protected you. If you use a quija board or anything else attempting to contact any kind of force always use a protection spell!!!

I would say that you made conatct with him, and thats why you felt his presance,and he or something else may have been trying to channel through you and thats what the hard breathing and chest pains were.

I've never used one myself, but listen to the people who have. Ouija boards are indeed a dangerous tool and not to be messed with lightly. If possible you might want to contact someone locally who has more experience and see if they can't help you out. Just be sure to check their credibility, as everyone knows there are a lot of fakes and phonies out there.

When you mess about with that sort of thing, you open yourself to all kinds of spirits. Your father came because he felt your presence and wanted to be close to you. That's what I think anyway.

I have used the Ouija several times and most times only bad has come from it and i agree they are not to be taken lightly.

If a good spirit comes through you have afeeling of calm and love if an evil ones comes through its like being suffocated and almost like a panic attack breathing is hard and constricted and a feeling of sickness in the bottom of your stomach,so be very careful and learn how to protect yourself from such intrusions,but i agree i will not use an Ouija anymore have seen the pointer levitate off the board and spin about 3 foot off the board that was enough for me.

it seems to me as if your father is your gardian angel, when your chest tightend it was the presence of a demon but your father defended you even in death.

I have read alot on this sight that weird things happen, some even bad, while using a ouiji? board. My mom tried to do it with me but she was the one who pushed it around. It allows spirits to connect some good and some bad. I am presuming your dad was there to connect with you or to protect you from the spirits that would harm you.

I have played with quiji boards a good bit, probably to much! I did have a similar experience! I saw my grandfather who had died many years before! At the time I was having nothing but bad experiences with the board! I look back now & think that he was probably there watching over me or warning me to leave the thing alone! It very well could have been your father, but becareful! Quiji boards can be very dangerous, & stopping things you awaken can be very difficult!

you do not sound crazy, but while doing that you were able to reach the other side. your father must have known it was you and came to see you and see how you were or what has become of you.

your father was there I think but In the future i would exercise caution.

But at least you were not attacked by bad spirits lastnight like I was LOL

i had a similar expierence, when once i refused the love of a man whom practiced black magick.. the same night i was out of breath... then i felt my fathers presence as well (he died when i was 17) ... he is there to guard you as is my father to me....

The ouija board's work however they bring out more spirits than what ur wanting/asking for.....i agree i think u felt the presence of ur dad...... be careful.

Ouija boards are dangerous...do you have any desire to make another attempt..was the experience worth a return visit...to maybe put the some closure to your experience. Just a thought. I would search for someone with more experience to assist if you choose to go down that path again.

I would be most inclinded to say that you connected with your father.

Your father probably is around you alot. When you were on the Quija board, it made him come through even more.....and when you were doing light as a feather, stiff as a board....he stayed around you and your mind was clear so he used that as a way to let you know he was still there for you. Most of the spirits I come in contact with just out of the blue....usually are just letting us know they're there.

If your father didn't want you to know he was there, then he would never of gave you the feeling his presence was there.

If that makes sense....just a little two cents worth on my part!

Boards are funny things, spirits are desperate to get back into life and so on, could well have been your father you got in contact with through the board and he only came through after.
Just be careful what you contact using those things, as it's demonstrated, even once you stop using it things still come through.

Myself, I felt that thing once before an astral projection and was so afraid that i had to come out of it.

Re ouija board, i done it hundred of times and never had any problems. there were times that i ended energy drained after an hour session, but you have to be really carefull and nice to the spirit. Remember to shield your self from any negative energies.

i never touched these things and i never do.

i guess everything was said so i keep it short.. in my eyes your not crazy and it might have been packed.. maybe you longed deep inside yourself for your father and he came by to see you..

You must understand that Ouija boards are powerful tools for connection to the other realms (and they are not always safe!) It is possible that while using the board you opened up a spirit hole and while preforming light as a feather, you raised up enough energy for a connected spirit to get through.

Just a theory, but Ive had stranger and worse happen with a board, my person advice, which you probably wont bother listening to: get rid of the board, do a house clearing and dont play with those god forsaken boards anymore.

Well i am very spirtuial so i belive that it is possible to connect the dead my question is were u thinking of your farther when u were doing the oujia? If this be the case then what i think may of happened is that yor thought's of your father became strong enough to connect with his spirt within u. And am sure that yuor farther was watching over u congrat's u have done somthing that not to many people have been able to do,if u have any more question's please let me know.
