Could it be possible to have familar's ??

Every morning when I walk to my bus stop for school I see 2 crows looking at me and I saw them again today walking home ....they don't even fly away ...

Could it be possible??

It very well could be.... I need to brush up on my info a little and get back to you, with more solid info but I've known it to happen....

certainly. i have a cat that follows me everywhere and sleeps with me every night. I believe that she is my familiar because I share a special bond with her.

Do you feel like you have some sort of bond with these birds. I think that totem animals are different from familiars.

I find it highly unlikely that a crow would be a familiar. It just doesn't seem like the type of animal that would form that kind of bond.

If you keep seeing these crows become more aware of your surroundings at the time. I would consider it more of an omen than anything.

Possible? Yes! Likely? No!

Maybe they consider the area where the bus stops their territory and they want you to fly away. Some birds have been known to swoop down on joggers. I have had persoanl experience with that

Is it possible? Yes i believe it is very possible.

Is it an omen? Again yes it could very well be an omen.

My answer to you rquestion is that i doubt very much that the crows could be familiars for you. Instead they are probably an omen.

My reasoning for this is mostly due to the fact that the most common type of familiar would be the cat, followed by the horse, fox and magpie.

Familiars are absolutely possible. This is a discussion that has been made many times on the VR Forums before. However, since it has been a while I will contribute my story about my last familiar. I actually had a dog, which was recently killed by a car hitting him... If I ever had a familiar he would have been the animal I would have pegged. I had this dog for 7 years and he knew everything to do around me instinctively. There was more than one occassion in which he warned me of danger before I would have had the opportunity to detect it.

Even in the news you will occassionally hear about instances in which canines save their owner's lives.

I have never had a familiar. I find it interesting. How do you become aware something is a familiar?

it could just be that they are trying to convey a message to you, once you figure out what the message is they will go away, it could also be nothing as well, just a place where they are.

Its possible I was followed by a crow the other day aswell and I've kept felling like i'm being watched. It is still unlikley they are your "Familar" but it is possible as many people before me have said. For them to be your Familars you need to have a special bond with the specific or the type of animal. Of course in your case as thier are two its probly the type of animal. Again like others have said it could also be and omen. I would adice you to look for sighns of both.

They may be watching over you. At least they aren't Ravens or even worse Buzzards!

I'll agree that it is possible for them to be an omen, I doubt that they're familiars. My first thought is that they're probably a manifestation of your animal spirit guide, pay close attention to them, the crow is considered to be very wise in some Native American cultures. If they are an omen I'd be careful, they have been viewed as a sign of bad fortune and death through history.

Hmm..Ive seen somthing about crows.That they are some kind of being..that is usally sent out to watch someone for someone else.like a familar..only that they just work for them..them as in whoever they are told to look after you for.I forgot the name for them..but they could be thoes crows that can ghange form..into thoes half crow half human,demonic things.They can be used in any way..good or bad.So,Whatever they are there for..they are watching you for a reason.

OR..They could be 'just' crows..looking for a hadn-out in food.Maybe they were someones pets once,and they are just attracted to you.

Familiars come into your life in many shapes and forms from birds to cats even dogs... they are there to teach you something so perhaps you should try conversing with these crows and see what happens.

i believe that familiars can come in any shape or form. Just because crows are not common as familiars doesn't mean that they are not yours. I'd pay attention to them and to your environment, just in case they are an omen.

I would suppose it possible for any animal to form a bond with us, after all pets are nothing more than animals that look wonderful in leather...

I know it to be possible to have familars but for crows to watch you, is an Omen.
Crows are not the type of animals to ever be familars to anyone. They are a bad sign.

I say that it is possible, I do believe in familiars. I have not yet an actual experience with anything of that nature, but I still do believe that it could happen.

It's certainly possible, although i would be more likely to think it was coincidence first. Crows aren't the usual choice of familiar

Has anyone ever seen Satan's School for Girls ?? There are like 5 or 4 crows or w/e and Once I was going to my bus stop again , and I saw 4 crows looking down at me ... that doesn't mean I'm evil or w/e does it ??

yes it is possible. I have a raven as my spirt guide. it is with me everywhere.

If you belive the only wives tails (spelled it that way for a reason)
It means that there will be a death in your family.

Crow's are not the unfortunet to be burdend with bad reps. They are silent watchers. I wouldnt pay them much mind, however dont be rude. Give them their space and leave them alone.

Yes indded it is possible ( I know been said) so now as for me well I got a familar that follwos me, every day I have these 3 a cats, one at the first bus stop I take to go to work, another sitting at the second, where I do my transfer, and the last one at ym stop in fornt of work, they are there not moving , then when I elave they just leave, everytime I go to work.

Crows and Ravens are of the Corbie Family of birds.

In the Norse Religion , Odin( the all father) use his 2 ( Thought and Memeory ) as spies. and in that they r a good omen. for the enimies of the the Nordic , it was thought that all that spied on the enemy we good signs.
Corbies do have a bad rep., but it was for the early old gods that is came. Many pre Christians saw them as the hairbringers of doom. Yet in truth many times , a "Murder" was also a good omen. To have 2 crows following u is a good sign of chane, depending on how ur life is going , for u have a higher power looking over u , weither u r haveing a good point in ur life or not. I used to follow Odin and his kin... I know that crows r also signs of revenge , redemption and change...

I would not think of them as Fimilars , but as guides as to the spiritial world for the douts u have and a way to find ur answers , to choices that will make u wonder... if more come , count them and look into the "old wives tales" fpr guidance, then be the judge of what u think...
Raven , in the American Native way is a god of pranks and humor as well as Coyote...
So think about the possible changes that are in ur life and see if it relates... who knows , they maybe just say: There is something to laugh about in what is going on here...

I think you have to have a bond with your familiars, i dont think you can just see an animal follow you and think that its your familiar...

i think it is possible...any animal can be a familiar..just depends if you feel a connection with it,there are certian reasons why one can have a familar come to them in their life...

I am in the belief that my cat is my familiar. if im walking to school he will follow me there and its 3kilometres to walk, and when im done, he will be waiting for me by the road.

Are you sure they aren't ravens? Well either way...I've been followed by both my entire life...So I wouldn't worry too much about it. But I would look around. I think everyones followed by something at some point. Sometimes I'm followed by morning doves...sometimes butterflies...but most of the time some type of black bird. I'd take them as guides. My cat is my familiar. She is very protective of me. I'd look into Native Americans for this one.

A lot of animals are considered to be "familiars" or even a "spiritual animal" mine is an eagle, I have been folled by eagles since I was a child, My son sees a wolf. So your guess is as good as mine.

yes I agree it maybe they are trying communicate with you or you are being watched by something they could be your guides

I have a buddy who is ghost, spirit, ha'nt, call him what you want- I call him Fred- Fred has followed me from one job to the next, since May or 1994. And he has since followed me from Florida to Canada. He is harmless, just makes himself known once in awhile, and I can usually attribute my "instincts" to him telling me not to do something.

Here is another perspective. A familiar is something that you summon for a set of tasks. If you didn't summon a familiar, then most likely your totem animal is the crow.

The crow is the carrier of lost souls, a watcher, and a sentinel. Do you often find yourself leading a friend to help? Are you very observant of people and events around you? Do often act as a guard for others - babysitting, taking care of others? Then maybe the crow chose you. Maybe you will have a task to lead someone to help in the near future.

I have found that many animals are attracted to those who are vampires or practice magicks, etc. I think it's simply because we are connected to them in some way.They can sense us perhaps more so than the mundane.Our energies and theirs form a bond.I have been followed by 3 ravens for years.and consider them to be a comfort.

It is possible that these two birds could be familiars... do you have any kind of magical skills or incantations? Usually familiars are attracted to people that have these type of things, but that's not always the case. I have heard of familiars turning into birds. It could also be a sheer coincidence that those two birds just like to hang out there at your bus stop every morning!! LOL, who knows ...

i once heard a wives tale about crows signifying death. and if u see one and while ur watching it, if it flies away then someone u know may die. i cant for the life of me remember where i heard that. as now that im older it sounds absurd.

but i dont see why a crow couldnt be a familiar. i personally think that anything with a soul and brain could be able to form a bond or connection with us.

I'm really not sure- it's probably just their favourite place. I personally have that sort f familiarity with my cat- its just the way we operate.

I do believe animals are connect to many like us for they are intuned with our thoughts. familiars may exist.

i had a same thing happen to be befor with crows, once when i was a little girl one was chaseing me and pecking me in the head and recently one will sit and cawl on the phone pole in the front of my house i live upstairs and the pole is right by my wiondow... one time it flew to my window... and every other couple days 1 or 2 will fly to the pole across the street from me and cawl ill look out there aand look at them and it seems as soon as i look at them 5 min. there leave its like they want to be noticed or something

I have had 3 familiars so far through my lifetime. My first was a cat, she dies aged 19, my second was a rat and she died very young.....her mate decided to eat her and i ended up releasing him into the wild.

My third was an astral wolf who decided to follow me around like a lost puppy. However, after a year or so, he decided to leave my side and i have not seen him since.

I do not think I have much luck with familiars, so tend to sat away from them LOL. Although i would love a snake as a familiar.

There was this black cat in primary school thet always followed me round.

My dad always wondered why so many mourning-doves would perch on the roof of his house. He would remark that they were calling him to his grave. Perhaps these crows or ravens have a similar purpose? This I cannot say. Would agree with anyone here who says the likelihood of it being true is sceptical at best. :)

I have a familiar, the typical cat. But she is my baby-sweetheart and has been since she was a kitten. In fact I wa shaving a fight with my brother when she was very wee and pointed my finger at him and told her to get him. She sprang across the kitchen floor and bit him on the foot.

I don't think it's ur familars. I think it's either an omen or they have a nest near by they are watching. Birds do that sometimes to make sure preditors don't know exactly where to find their young.

Any animal that is attracted to you could very well be a familiar.

Maybe the crows have nests in the trees along the wayt to your bus stop or maybe that is just were they like to perch. I do not think that you are evil just because they look down at you as you walk by.

I would just like to add that i believe that the idea of calling your familiar in witchcraft is absolute nonsense. In my opinion, a familiar will find you and it will let itself be known to you when it's time.

There are many things that a true familiar can do, and they can be extremely resourceful and are a great help to all witches.

So, the animal has to approach you in order to be called a true familiar? How do you think that it would do this, just by following you as she has claimed that the crows do, or what? I am just fascinated by the thoght of animals helping a witch in his/her practices.

It is very possibe I use to have animls fallow me all the time it was only two cats and they were black its like they knew me they know who I was one time one of them fallowed me all throungh my city its not very big but when ever I would stop they would just look at me this happened all the time still does now its crows

Cats will follow any one who has given them any attention, as far as petting or feeding, but I guess it could be possible that they are something more.

also as for the evil thing, you wouldn't necessarily know until you snapped out of it or died.

They very well could be familars, Familars are either Rodants, Cats or birds....but Crows are actually a sign/mark of death, are you sure the birds you see are Crows & not rooks...are they are the same colour & shape but the rook is slightly bigger in size & has a longer beak!

They could be your familiars yush. I think my cat is too. She follows me around everywhere and always sleeps with me in my bed, well not literally but yh. And sometimes when i'm out i see the same type of birds flying overheard.

Well I may have a clue of how the crows seem to follow me ... well On my 16th Birthday ... I met my favorite country singer... ( He's sooooooo cute ! ) and like We got a picture together .. and in the picture his eyes are red.. (I think he is a demon .. a cute demon .. lol .. but its probably from camera..) and our heads touched.. after that , the crows have been following me..

Crows are a good omen, in pairs, and in a group of 4, which is the best. You can have a living familiar, or a spirit familiar of a passed beloved pet. I had a Post in the past in which covered many people wrote about their experiences with familiars, passed over, or present.

be careful they might sould turn in to anything you never know. i am sure that it is not going to turn in to something but not for sure you might want someone with you now. like a friend or something and someone watching you carefully. but them crows could be pals have you got family memebers them famli;y members could be them crows

Crows and other large dark birds hae been coming closer and closer to my work-- and hae now nested close by.

Odhinn/Odin may be sending his blessings, especially if they are sent in twos.

For the longest time, I thought something bad was going to happen to me because I had seen a HUGE amount of crows in my neighborhood. Then i found out that my neighbor who lives a couple houses away was feeding them.

it is quite possible and familiars do exist it is the bond not like a pet to its owner but on a spiritual level that one feels when that right animal is around them
