i just wanted to know who see's them and how do you get them out of your house?

You can see them if you're a psychic-sensitive of some sort, though they make themselves known through EVPs and other stuff. To get them out of your house you can do many things, I guess depending on your religion. A lot of forms of Christianity and Catholicism would use exorcism or blessing the house with holy water, whereas other religions might do a cleansing ritual.

To get rid of them, most forms of cleansing or exorcism should get rid of them, but it would be more interesting to find out why they're there in the first place, don't you think?

Oh, and I've never seen them, but feeling them is kinda weird. Just that...presence somewhere around you. Kinda creepy, methinks.

Well then try to ask. All it takes is a clear mind. Ask them, and they'll probably reply in some form. It's up to you to figure out first if and how they replied to you, then figure out what the reply was. It'll likely be difficult for a while until you get in touch with your senses. Try it out.

I cannot see them, but I can feel them. I have seen something before, but it was not a ghost.

Depends what kind of person you are I think.

Perhaps the kindest thing to do is just tell them it's time to leave and let them know it's safe to do so.

If you don't feel confident about doing this yourself, I'm sure your local Spritualist Church could help you.

I can see em and sense em and to get rid of em either use an exorcism or any type of cleansing ritual

i apreciate all the help everyone they mostly just keep to themselves but sometimes they let me know they are here i think they want something but i am not sure what i get a sense from 1 of them sadness but they wont talk to me yet.

I lived in a very old house all my life, and ghosts are a part of my life and that of my ancestors.
If u need to get rid of them, i would suggest contacting a local medium.The spirit may just need guidance, not total damnation.In most cases guidance and a look to another door is all they need.
Remember u are dealing with a being who was once a person.

A lot of the time you can get a ghost to leave just by asking them nicely lol. But if they're a little more stubborn, I would suggest seeking the assistance of a psychic, priest, etc.

I can't recall having seen a ghost or anything similar. At least I am not sure if I have.

If you mess with a non-religious ghost and/or you are not-religious yourslef, I think that there are no possibilities for it to leave your house after the visit of a priest. It would just have some nice time, I guess ;-)

I personally believe that the only way to get rid of a ghost, is to help it get whatever it seeks and makes it stay among the living. Otherwise, just get used to some company and be ready to get a second opinion on what you'll watch on TV, because you're no longer alone, budy ;-)

p.s.: Don't bother cooking an extra plate of food... Not gonna work :P

I'm no expert but i can sense them, i currently live in a house that's haunted but doesn't cause any problems.

If you want them gone, i suggest like the others above find out why they are still on this plane, and try to sort out the problem so they can move on.

From what I understand, most of the spirit energy is trapped in their form because they have not made it onto another plane of existence. There are many reasons why. Maybe their is unfinished business, or maybe they are only 'lost' and can't find their way.
Try to communicate with them, and also once they are 'talking' to you, you may be able to help them cross.

I personally have never seen a ghost before, and i do not think their is a way to get ghosts out of your house other than maybe asking them to leave, i have heard of people trying to get rid of ghosts in their houses and just making the ghosts more mad...

I had spirits at one time in my house. I talked to them. Then one day they 'told' me that they were leaving. Never found out where they went. The house is kinda lonely now...

Ghosts are bearable to live with unless they're violent in nature.

I haven't seen one in my home since I was a child, but even then I had no problems with them.

I think that ghost would be alright to live with, they are better than demons or poltergeist would be, so if anyone has ghost think of yourself as lucky...

if u feel that there is a ghost in your home do some research on your home.. and in time find out about this ghost smoke your house and light a candle ( white ) make sure u do your corners and either clap or ring a bell.. i hear that they hide in corners

Ghosts are here because there are unfinsihed business and our souls when we die arnt ever layed to rest like people say . The ghosts watch over u like guides that is what i believe . The ghosts will never be settled. No matter how much we try they are part of our psychic being. And our resources of imformation.

I'm not sure I've seen them. I have seen shadows and such, but never full bodied apparitions, orbs, etc, except on tv.

But I have also felt sudden changes in a room, i.e. temperature, etc.

And I agree, it would be interesting to find out why they're there.

I have been able to see and feel spirits, demons, ghosts since I was a small child.

An exorcism is preformed to remove a demon from a person not a home.

There are ways of communicating that can help in many ways.

First of all you don't want to ever be completely alone when you communicate with a spirit, if it has evil intentions you are opening your mind and body to posession.
Always be respectful. This spirit may be attached to an Item, person, place or even there to give you a message.

There is one here on VR that is a Ghost Hunter. Seek him out if you feel like you need advise on removing this spirit. However if it is not causing you harm and not scarring people You should be able to live in peace with it.

i have three of them living with me and i hope that they never leave.. i love my ghosts and they love me

I dont see spirts but I do hear them in my house. i also have strange things happen so I know they are there.

One thing i have been told is that u can place salt around the house to keep them from coming in. Once they are there i am not sure how to get rid of them. The ones i have I dont mind being there and so I dont care if they stay

good point i think i will just leave them alone they uselly arent bothering us to much maybe someday i will know who they are.

the first ghost experience i have ever had was the day of my great grand mother's funeral i actually felt her wrap her arms around me and whisper in my ear "Dont cry my lil one(personal nickname) i am with grand pa now. Dont cry lil one and tell Mildred (my grandmother) the locket is in my bedside drawer"

My great grandmother left my grandmother a locket that no one knew where it was the day we went to her house looking for keepsake and memories i told my grandmother what happened we went to her room and looked and there it was in the bedside table when my mom came looking for me we (me and my grandmother) were sitiing on the bed crying

wow that is pretty awsome meska i haved talked to my nana before and she has helped me through alot she died when i was 8 she came tome on my 13th b-day and told me i was special like her it kinda scared me but after that day things changed for me i started knowning things and senseing things and i could also see ghost. I miss her alot but it helps to know her prencense is still with me.

I have a ghost in the house I live in right now. Everyone in the family has seen her and never mentioned it until my husband was touched on the back of the neck by her. LOL

I never even thought of asking her to leave. There is a reason she is here. I may never know that reason, but, I know it exists.

I've lived in three houses that were haunted. In the last one, I addressed them before we moved in. I acknowledged their presence and their right to be in the house since they had been there long before my son and I. lol I told them I would not tolerate them frightening my son, but that I would welcome any communication from them as long as it was directed to me. Shortly after, I was privileged to catch a glimpse of one of them. We never had any trouble from them while we lived there, although the people before us had. I think ghosts draw strength from fear, it encourages them to "misbehave." My experience is that you must let them know that co-existence is permissable as long as there are firm boundaries.

My very first experince was with my great grandmother as well.

I have also had an experience On a Civil War Battle field. I stepped onto the actual field and my mind instantly saw the battle taking place. I could hear the cannons and gun fire and smell the stench of blood and gun powder.
It was rather chilling. But I have learned to embrace my gift and find it rather useful when I am relocating. As it only takes me about 30 minutes in a residence to decern weither or not there is a spritiual presence.

how to get them out of your home?

many different ways, from simply asking them to leave to a full exerosism. But I would try burning a white candle and requesting the ghost to leave by what ever higher power you believe in. And smudgeing your home works well also. Salt at the entry points... do not forget the windows.

personally I opt to live with the ones in my home as it was theirs first. We just sort of have an agreement on what is allowed and not allowed.

ive seen a few and had many things happen in my Home and had to do a ritual cleaning of my Home to rid of the ghost basically asking it to leave and not return

It depends if they are haunting the property or you yourself. Either way most people do handle it with some sort of cleansing ceremony.

Do research on the property that you live on, see if there were any violent deaths or deaths that could cause an uneasy spirit to reside.

No problem and just so you know most hauntings are non-violent. If it does start affecting you or anyone else living there physically then I would see about getting help via a paranormal investigation group/etc.

not sure what to tell you there on that one.

I am not sure, first you would want to establish when the property was first in use and then investigate any construction/houses that have happened there. Try also to track down previous land owners and learn where and how they passed away.

I would recommend the Library as a good starter place, they usually have most if not all news articles ever written available to scan through. Perhaps you can find out the age of the land via a realtor company for free?

I'm still waiting to see something that I can't explain away in some shape or form. Until I can see something and say beyond a shadow of a doubt that it's a ghost, I won't be satisfied. I've had several experience that might be of a supernatural nature. However, I've always been able to say..."It could have been this or that..." I'm very critical when it comes to stuff like that.

I have seen spirits before, one example being my grandmother around christmas time when I was about 9. I don't think you can make them go anywhere though unwillingly

being a medium, i can see them and rid any place from them. But ghosts exist in 1000's in every feet there is. you cant rid the world from it's energy.

telling them to get out rarely works..lol but that was nice for a laugh...Hold a sayaunce(sp) and try to open a channel for them to speak with you and ask them why exactly they are there.

I do see ghosts. And if you are having problems getting it out of your house, tell it to go to the light, to move on because it is dead.

I have never seen a ghost, but like many others I ave felt them and had visual images of them in my minds eye. There are many ways of dealing with them, and as has been suggested it depends on your religous leaning. I would defiantley find out if they are benevolent or benign. If they are not really a nusance then you may just want to ignore them. There is a lot of energy buzzing around us all the time, and it may be simply a manifestation of this and nothing else.

I would first find out why they are there and see if there was something that needed to be done to help them move on. Sometimes spirits and ghost get stuck here because of some reason or another, and if you can help solve their problem then they could leave on their own. We had to do that in a house we once lived in.

can i ask why you want to get rid of them.. Are the doing harmful things to you or others in the house ? Is there a way that you and the ghosts can live together ?

To get them out of your house.. you first have to determine what they are as there is a difference between a ghost and a spirit....

You also need to pay attention to the behavior of them so that you can decide which elemental area is their strong point....... and then use the ones that they do not use against them to help send them on their way.... (Yes I realize that was very confusing..... I know what Im talking about... just hard to type out. lol.)

I have seen spirits in every home i have ever lived in. I have many that follow me so even if it did not have any when I moved in.. it will after I do lol.

To get them to leave... well one way to do it is to simply explain to the spirit that their presence is a problem and request they leave.

If that does not work there are many banishing rituals out there.. white candles, sage, blessing, holy water. Which ever flavor of rite that works best for you.

If you can, try and coexist with the entity. Often it can be quite an amazing experience to do so.

If they aren't really bothering you, you may just want to ignore them. As for getting rid of them, most spirits stuck in this plane are here because of their own reasons; a need to do something, a violent death that they can't get over etc. They will leave when they work through whatever it is keeping them here. If you do decide to try to remove them, you first need to have it set in your mind that this house is yours and they have no right to stay behind in it. Then a cleansing ritual or exorcism should finish expelling them.

ummmmmmmm instead of acting like their not there as some have said, try talking to them..they are still people. even if they are dead.. how would we all feel if no one ever tried to talk to us.. i know i'd be a little pissed off if everyone blow me off... start with little things like walking in after your work day and saying " hi im home" everyone have a good day ? sorry but i love to talk to my guys.. they never let me down and i love talking to all of them or just whoever is there at the time.. i would never act as if they were not there and part of my family and household.. but thats just me, Sorry

My girlfriends dad died last year and we both think he's still in the house, it's just certain stuff he would do here, sometimes you can hear the chair rocking, or the silverware rattling, and every now and then you can see a reflection in the mirror out of the corner of your eye. It's pretty eerie at times but I've learned to live with it. I have no idea how to get them out, in my situation we're comfortable with it.

I had one in The house i use to live in but i do not know how to get them out. i never bothered with it cause he was nice.

Those who are meant to see them see them. Those who are sensitive, just are. and those which can't be seen under normal conditions aren't, b/c they aren't seen! (a bit of a toung twister and a brain jumbler but if you think about it, it makes sence like that tree branch joke)

Anyways, as for getting them out of your house first find the reason as to why they might be in your house in the first place! then consult a person of the arts and find out the best way to do so without harming anyone else!

I've always been told that children have a tendency to see such things. I have no idea how to get rid of them though.

My dad died recently and I know he's still here, I haven't got a problem with it at all. In fact I'm probably more comfortable and would never even consider trying to get him out.

I see them. And if you see them you may never be free of them. Try learning to just share the space with them.

I have seen and heard them. As for getting them out, if they have positive energy just let them stay, they maybe protecting you.

If they're not bothering you much yet you don't want them to be around permanently, you could try communicating with them and getting them to trust you. My friend tried this with a shy spirit in her home and it worked.

Whenever you're alone in your house, just talk to them as if you're talking to a real-life person. Babble on about everything and nothing, the idea is to get them to recognise the sound of your voice and the way you talk.

Every now and then, ask them a question about why they're in your home. You may not get answers right away, but eventually they will trust you enough to ask for your help. If you can get them to tell you why they think they're trapped, you've got more chance of setting them free.
