There is something i wish to say about cancer and our moderators, they do a sterling job and are rarely thanked for the fantastic job they do, lamented when someone has a thread deleted or is banned for a breach of the rules they are only doing a job too keep our online community running in a fair manner. People send them emails of abuse, not of thanks. They are overlooked unless something is wrong.

Its a problem with society in general and i am not going on at the community, society has become so complacent with things working "as intended" (to coin a phrase from my field of work) that they no longer go "damn good job guys" when something does work.

Think about it how many times have you logged into VR and said "Why was my thread closed? or why have i been banned" and the first thing you do is email the guys "but its not my fault i didnt do it the dog did it". ro whatever the lame excuse of the moment is.

So i wish to close in saying a big thank you to cancer for starting this community bear with it when it drives ou insane, to the mods, some of us do know how hard it is.

I realise this has probably been done before but i am at work and do not have time to search the forums, can someone delete it if its been done before.

Well thank you very much for this post. It's nice to see when members understand things from the opposite side of the field so to speak. We just do our jobs cause we want the best for this site and it's members. Getting grief is a part of that description, it comes with the territory, I take each day in stride and do my very best for this site and the people on it. Thank you again for giving thanks to all the staff on here it means alot to be recognized and thanked for the jobs we do. Makes it worth it even more so. :)

I'm in complete agreement. I did a couple of newbie boo boo's at first. (I'm hoping there won't be more), but I never got upset or angry when they were pointed out.

A big thank you to all the mods for keeping this place going. I've never been a mod, but I've worked a computer help line. It had some similar problems, at least I was getting paid for that. Being flamed several times a day takes a tough constitution. What they do should not also be a thankless job.

Being an Acolyte ...I thank you all...and I try my best to help anyone and everyone.

I would also like to thank the creators and administrators of my new "crack" as it were. As far as I have seen, they have done an amazing job, and created one of the most unique online communities I have seen. I could never thank them enough.

It's alot to do and takes up alot of their time for doing an amazing job with an amazing site....

What some people fail to realize is truly how much time, these chosen few, have dedicated themselves to the site. I know for a fact it's hundreds of hours a month.

The moderators of VR did an awesome job putting this site together. Maybe this way people will actually take the time to learn the truth about vampires rather than believe everything that they hear or see. I love this site and how it was put togeter. There arent many sites that are well put together like this one. I give the moderators 100%

I've been on a lot of sites and this one is the most responsibly managed site of all of them. Kudos to all the admin.

I have to agree the admins and the moderator are doing a great job without them this site wouldnt be what it is. ihave to give them all a big thank you for putting in such time and if you all ever need volunteers for help sign me up wants to give back as well.

i'm going to bump this thread back up because it's right. the moderators are human and annoy people sometimes,but nine times out of ten the people being annoyed are only being annoyed because they annoyed somemany others.

wow, it's annoying how i can't think of another word to use.

This forum is decaying and rotten - full of dead words. Those who now post have have slaughtered the language, with their cliche, cant and jargon; their obnoxious words like "interesting," and "meow." When things cannot be said in public it is because of the superb indifference that the powerful have for the weak.

heimdalls You took the ords right out of my mouth. When i first started on here i had some problems and i had some help from the admin, mod, and acolyte. They are all fanstatic and do an awesome job and keeping everything up and running. I feel very at home here and it it were not for this site I would not know were to turn. *applauds*

The control and moderation of this site was at one point the only thing that kept me here. I love what this site is trying to do, but it's the work people don't see that enable everyone to enjoy it. The administration does a good job, and it's insulting when they get harassed with the dumbest things after putting in all the work that they do to make this site what it is. Cancer's site is only as good as the work put into it.

I think that all the moderators and administrators are all totally awesome. I was having problems with my page and an administrator helped me out and helped me fix my problem. So give give everyone much kudos for keeping this site going smoothly

We have wonderful mods and Cancer picked them well. Its nice to come to a site that you if somethign wasnt up to par you can click on a mods name and they truly will help resolve the situation. I love this site. You gotta give the mods a hands cos they make it all happen

Good point, even though the Admin/Mods can not control the issues of others lifes. I think people should make an effort to understand who is having problems and who is just an asshole.

I am really enjoying the site and I found it wrong of someone to complain since we do not have to pay to have our inital profile. It is our choice if we become a paying member. There are over 6,000 people on here at this time. I think the moderators are doing a great job and should be praised, not trashed.

I think this site rocks and the who work so hard to keep things running right do a fantastic job..I am sorry if I make blunders here I am new but learning fast...

Text is not text but words to me and how you type is how your words should be read. like a story book making your cry from being sad or laugh and smile from being silly and happy text from human to human being should be thought of as emotionful and meaningful how much does the words "I love you" mean online to you? if they mean nothing then the internet is not a demention in whitch you belong... to me text is nothing less then speach but its simple cousin.
