OK.. this is going well.. and thought-provoking..
I also thought I'd open up the option of anyone sending in pictures they might have and believe are possibly paranormal!
I understand feeling, smelling, touching of paranormal things.. but have you seen one with your own eyes?
Actually, I have seen 5 ghosts in my lifetime.
The first one was when I was around 6, I used to play under the stairs, there were two rocking chairs there, one day I glanced at one of the rocking chairs, it was around 1 pm, and there was a man sitting there, after a while there was no one, I asked my family if we had a visitor , they said no one had come, I kept seeing this man sitting in the rocking chair every single afternoon, for perhaps a year.
The second was after my aunt was killed, I was sleeping, woke up an saw a white shdow first sittiong on my sisters bed and then in mine, and then left
The third one was when I was 23, I was on the phone with my gf , it was around 9 pm, when I saw a woman coming towards me, I sensed she was evil, I told my gf that I would call her back, I walked towards the ghost and told it to leave that I was not scared of her, she left, I calld my gf and told her about it
The fourth one was about 3 years ago, I saw a young girl walkng around in the apt,
the fourth one was of another young girl, this one I just got a quick glimpse of her in my apt then she left
I have always discounted the one that I as sleep and woke up, but the other 4, I can not, entirely awake, the first one lasted for over a year, almost daily, I always wondered if he is my spirit guide, and is still there but I no longer see him
I have seen something that is not explainable in the normal world I amnot sure I would quite call it a ghost but yes things can occure that we would not think are possable
i have seen so much of that growing up it ant funny i have lived in 3 aunted house was bron the same day and time 2 years after my great great grandma who was a witch died, i also went to job corps where it is haunted because of indians death civial war fighting and sucided deaths
I have seen many ghosts. I spent 18 years living in a house that I and my entire family believe to have been genuinely haunted.
Every member of my family had some sort of "ghostly encounter" while living there ♥
I have seen a couple of spirits and shadow people but have been seeing them all my life so it is not really as shocking as it can be to some people.
I've never "seen" a ghost, but I've never personally been proficient with second sight. I've certainly felt and experienced strange energy fields, one or two of which were VERY alarming. Some entity was psychically "attacking" two friends and I a few years ago. It was terrifying.
The best I could ever accomplish with seeing a ghost was for a split second out of the corner of my eye.
I would write it off, except it's happened so many times.
♥
I have seen ghosts. there is this place in Wisconsin I visited once . I was walking around on the grounds and I heard a little girls voice calling me by name. I looked up and she was there almost plain as day. She had long blondish colored hair and a white sun dress on. the other time I was there I was chased off the land by a pack of ghost horses not wanting me on the land . That was a tad scarey.
Something similar happened to my grandmother once.
When I and my sisters were young, my grandmother babysat us one night while my mom and dad went bowling. Late that night, while we were all in bed (as my grandmother tells it), grandma was laying down in my older sister's bed with her. She looked up and saw a little girl standing in the bedroom doorway with her head down slightly. Thinking it was my twin sister, my grandmother tells her to go back to bed. When the little girl doesn't move, grandma got up from the bed, only to find the girl gone when she looked back to the doorway. A quick bed-check on my twin sister found her fast asleep in her bedroom.
When my parents came home that night, grandma was about to tell her what she saw, when my mother stops her and describes the girl exactly. Apparently my mother saw her once, too, in the kitchen, and also thought she was my twin sister.
Then you should hear this one (it's short, but to the point):
One night, my father was the last one to head upstairs to bed, and was turning off the lights downstairs and making sure the doors were locked. The last light my father turned off was the hall light, which was on a pull-chain before the foot of the stairs.
My father gets about halfway up the stairs when he hears a faint clink behind him. When he turns, the hall light is back on again, and the pull-chain is swinging back and forth.
Ahhhh.. Eerie!!
TODAY.. I heard a weird noise..
I was at a friends house.. and I was sittin in their lounge.. i Heard a finger slip down a glass.. As it a wet glass you know..
There was nobody else IN the house, HE was OUT.
But it was definately a weird as shit noize.
He has said he hears things there... But casts off any beliefs of ghosts.. he is too hard core LOL
I was thinking about this when kids are little they almost always say their is a monster in the closet or under the bed, and when they tell a grown up they always say its their imagination... I wonder if the kids are really seeing ghosts or spirits and the grown ups cant! So if that is the case then almost everyone has seen a ghost or spirit at some point in their life...
good thinking RavenKnight. infact my imaginary friend was my spirit guide so i guess if its possible that kids see ghosts and somtimes not relized it. a very old friend of mine (weather she was making it up or not) she has 3 siblings 1 is a half brother. well when her sister had a ver creepy room in their house she always said there was a scarey woman at the end of her bed at night while the sister was away her brother came to stay with them and in the same room said there was a scarey woman at the end of the bed. so wether or not its truth still not known but I never went in that room freaked me out too much.
yes I have and it is kinda freaky the first time my daughter seems to see them alot lately
Orbs in the feilds. If I had a camera that night I would so have taken picture's, but it was one ofthe coolest things I have seen.~NFA
I see things all the time... orbs, {concentrations of energy} energy levels rising and falling, and spirits, mists ect ect... I used to have a bunch of photos... but when I got sent to the institution my mom got on my computer and deleted them all because she thought they were hellacious...
one of the former owners of our house..cruises around..he's been dead for at least 10-20+ years
I have seen alot of ghosts in my lifetime. I have heard that I have a gift.
I have also seen my grandfather who has been dead for 14 years. He usually comes to me at night when all the lights are out. strokes my cheek and tells me everything is gonna be alright., But I do believe that spirits do have ability to move things as well. the place I was tell you about in my previous post it is believed that there is a fireplace in the building that moves to every floor. I have been in there during the day and there is a fireplace but only on the first floor. part of the floor on one side of the building collapsed and on that side I have seen what looks like lights on in a room and a man sitting in the window staring out at me. its kind of eerie when you think about it though.
Not only do I see them, but I have to close certain portals in my place to keep them out.~NFA
I have experienced a poltergeist. I didn't even believe in them before that. Wish I didn't, still.
I don't really qualify anything i've expierenced as ghosts, lets just say, deviant souls.
I believe I added my real ghost experience in another related thread.
That's the only one I'm certain with since I've seen it clearly with my own eyes.
Unfortunately enough I wasn't carrying a camera at the time though I don't think I would've been cool enough to take a picture.
Other experiences have been too inconclusive to mention.
I just call him the Black Shadow, i've seen him several times, hes not really much for good omens.
I have never seen a ghost persay but have seen shadow beings. and one thing I couldn't explain. When I was 12 my cousin and I were in his barn one night, sneeking a smoke. Then we looked up in the loft which was locked and an unnaturaly bright white light filled the loft, unlike any light I've seen to this day. So naturally we took off running, and stopped to catch our breath about 500 yards from his house down the road. then we listened and something was coming towards us through the tobacco in the field unbelieveibly fast. the sound it made moveing through the tobacco I'll never forget, something like a wind storm tearing through the trees in a forest. then we ran back and in his house. to this day I still wonder what that was..
I think I saw one this morning while I was driving. It was dressed in a black dress bending over a grave,I took my eyes off for a minute then when I turned bavk it was gone
the one in the werehouse at work is starting to get to me. yesterday was unpleasant - the lights over the computer i was working at kept flickering, my skin felt itchy, and i had an unpleasant feeling of dread that grew into terror. i dont know what of - i just felt afraid, and i didnt know what i was afraid of, but my skin crawled, and i was shaking. the computer is in the garage area - the same place where i saw someone in overalls walk into a few months ago. i saw a man with short hair wearing blue overalls walk up the ramp and into the garage area, but when i followed to investigate, he was gone.
nobody likes that part of the warehouse, and some members of staff just refuse to be in the building at night. lots of people have heard strange sounds. i hate it - it just feels wrong.
Once a few years ago, just before my grandmother died, I could have sworn I saw my grandfather's ghost but, I could have been wrong. I might have just been praying that he was going to be there waiting for Grandma when she was gone from us.
I haven't seen anything palpable with my own eyes (as in balls of light, figures, random dismembered pieces) but my mother reports seeing the spirit of my dead aunt when I was born. I like the story myself.
I've seen more than my fair share. Some good, some bad, some so evil it feels like just being around them would cause you physical pain.
i never did but my father said that one night he woke up and seen my grandmother in the doorway and she went into each of mine and my brother and sisters room and came back and smiled at him and that was the last time my father ever seen her.
I have not seen a ghost in my lifetime, but I have heard my dead grandmother quite a few times and I have felt the presence of a few
Yes I have encountered a couple of spirits or ghost. They never spoke or cause a problem just wondered past, a few times and carried on what they were doing.
I have a heck of a ghost sighting but everyone always thinks I'm nuts so I'm always afraid to repeat it... But I am a firm believer that they do exists...
This is a very interesting post. I have always been able to feel kinda them. I have seen them a few times. Once in a time of need, I saw my grandfather that had been dead for many years. Also I see something everytime someone is going to die at work. It's kinda strange & freaks me out a little. It really did at first, now I am becoming more tolerant of it.
I swear I saw a ghost when I went on the ghost tour in the French Quarter in New Orleans a few years ago.
I wouldn't classify this as a ghost but it is most certainly paranormal.
I was laying in my bed one night and this giant globe of some sort of energy appeared and I was unable to move at that current moment. No I was not afraid just in shock. I am still puzzled as to what this could have been. However it was certainly inticeing to ones mind.
In South Carolina, down in the boonies not far from Georgetown, back where some of the old plantations are like Springfield Plantation, there is an old graveyard on the property. Mostly what you can see is "organized mists" that move from one area to another and then vanish...nope, no swamp gas there people...they move...stop..move again..vanish
Then there are the ones that appear as shadows down by the Pee Dee and move across the land.
Restless to say the least.
I've seen this thread running for awhile but I've never posted in it because I've only heard ghost voices before. But yesterday I was driving on a major highway in this area with no other cars around. I looked and saw a toddler riding a tricycle on the shoulder. Horrified I switched lanes and hit the breaks prepared to find his house and alert his parents. As I was slowing down the child just vanished right in front of my eyes, tricycle and all. He had brown hair cut in a "bowl" style and was wearing overalls. I'm not sure what I saw yesterday, but there wasn't any child there anymore and as I began looking around, I realized there were no houses in the immediate area. Weird.
PhoeniXheart!!
Holy Cow!
Do you think you recognise the child at all?
doesn't sound like a modern-day kid does it
Yes I have, a spirit I called upon to answer a question about my roots, she came to me and stayed by my bed side for ten nights, I saw her each night before I fell asleep, photography? I havn't any I guess you'll just have to trust what I say.
No I didn't recognize the boy minx, but there was something odd about the tricycle as well. It reminded me of one I had as a kid that my grandma had saved.
Well lets see, so far there are 7 ghosts in my house. I've seen only three in my house.
My grampa was the first ghost I ever seen when I was around 4. He used to talk to many and my mom would wake up in the middle of the night hearing me talk to him. he stopped visiting me though, but one night when I was like 12 or something I was sitting by my mom watching TV she looked over to the hallway to my other room, she grabed me and yelled "Get out!" I looked at her and asked, "Whats wrong?!" She told me that a tall man was standing in the hallway. I looked and saw nothing, I feel sorry for her cause I never seen my mom so scared.
Then the second ghost I saw was a small black kitty, that appears very time my power goes out.
Thrid ghost is my greatest fear...but shes only a small nine year old girl, with blonde hair and a faded pink dress, I couldn't see her eyes though; they had a black smear across them. But the way I saw her was what made me uneasy...I was sleeping and heard my mom walking in the living room like she does very morning to I heard her tell me to wake up. I opened my eyes but then got a harsh cold chill three times in a row, my elbows pressed aginst my bed as I tryed to scream then started to shake, when I stoped shaking my head tilted over to the edge of my bed, and there she stood; the girl with a large red dog beside her. My eyes flicked and I closed them when words appeared in my mind "My name is Lace...please don't worry." I opened my eyes shaking with fear, i yelled for my mom and she asked why I was crying...So I told her what had happened.
Other things happened envoled with ghosts in this house, but it may take to long to name them all.
This sounds really cool and I personally know people that have seen ghosts in their lifetime. They said it was cool but kinda creepy at the same time.

i have seen ghosts in my lifetime. When i lived in Japan i lived in a little naval base named Ikego, it was a reknowned concentration camp. Late at night you can see the victimized souls of young americans and japans turned traitor of their people, it was spooky and also quite sad
I've always been able to see them... Talking to them is a different matter entirely though. They're not too fond of speaking with me.. don't know why... :(
I've had "odd" feelings before, in various locations. I've never seen anything that I recognized as any kind of "ghost" though. Eh.
I have been visited on several occasions by someone from the past....I have a connection with this person, although I didn't physically know them when they were living. I don't always see, but I know when he is there. I am not afraid.
Just shadows hovering over going place to place. Sometimes I've seen faces transparent pushing a warning for me not to be around.
I see ghosts all the time but the bad thing is, I never get a straight look at them. It is always out of the corner of my eye. I never really had this ability until I started opening up my mind when I bacame a witch. I see them all the times but usually not as frequently as during the two times a year when the veils between the worlds are the thinnest. At those times, the sightings I have are uncountable. They jump out in front of me when I am driving, they pass by me in buildings, and sometimes I can even hear them speaking. I can just never understand them.
Thank you all for a really fun and interesting thread!!
*bring on the spookies*
i lived in a house full of them as a child used to see this dude standing in my closet another was my immaginary friend
I had a pesky ghost in an old house I rented. It felt like a female spirit. She would open and close windows and doors and turn the tv on and off and she drove my dog crazy!!. We finally had a friend come and purify the house and we had no further encounters. I never actually saw her but I felt her when she entered a room.
Once when I was 12..........I saw a luminescent thing floating in my room.
Of course its safe to say for fear of being thought mad........I didn't say much of it.
i have lived in so many places that i was blound to see at least one! ive actually "seen" a few one being my uncle. but the scariest was hearing or just feeling them. when i was 8 i used to have to say goodnight to my ghost by knocking on my wall or she would get mad. and she wasnt the only one in the house there was someone really angry in the basement im not sure why or who but my animals wouldnt even go near the door.
once, when i was a small child, i was very ill and had a fever. whilst my mother stood at the side of the bed, a man in black came into the room, walked past my mother, and stood at the end of my bed, facing me. i thought he was a doctor, coz the doctor often dressed like him. he seemed to lift up the end of my bed, and i felt it tilt as he did so. then he lowered it, and left. i asked my mother why the doctor did that, and she said the doctor hadnt arrived yet, and that nobody else was in the room, and the bed had not been lifted up.
by the way - i got better, so i dont think it was Death.
I've seen ghosts with my minds eye...but i actually SAW a ghost. I was in bed and I felt something come into my room and i looked over i saw the door open, my baby was in a bassinet at the foot of my bed and i thought to myself oh great my mom had better not wake the baby. It walked over to the bassinet and the baby just absolutely started to scream her little head off. I jumped out of bed just as the door was closing.
Personally and without a doubt I have seen Hundreds of ghosts and similar related occurances, although way too much to list here, Od be glad to share some of my experiences. I also lived in a haynted house growing up. O dont believe in ghosts, I know they exist.
oh yeah, they mainly walked right past me or just stood there and stared. The few i havent seen have opened my doors while i was sleeping and i woke up, or put things in wierd places. Like my chair was standing straight up on my bed, and there aint no way i did it. but none have harmed me.
Well.. I can't say that I've seen anything like a ghost but I do have a small story to tell, though I don't know if it has anything to do with ghosts at all..
A couple of years ago, I was sitting on the couch, just watching TV like I usually do, when suddenly my mom screams. Frightening the hell out of me, I had jumped up and turned to look at her. She was standing in the doorway of the kitchen, pointing over at the hall leading to my room. When I turned to look and see what she was pointing at, there was nothing but an empty hallway.
She had been upset and wouldn't talk about it for a few days but when she did, she broke down and cried again in the middle of her story. All I caught from it was that she saw ME standing in the hallway waving at her with my eyes ripped out of my head and my lower jaw gone, blood covering my clothing.
Now, like I said, I dunno if this has anything to do with ghosts but it still gives me the creeps.
Well The house i was living in had one.It was unbelievable. You could actually feel all the negative energy in the house. You feel suffocated.Me and my 2 friends stay together. We all have seen it.It's a black figure.A woman. My friend said he had a feeling that she was pulling his leg one night, and that he felt something weird and his body froze and all.I think the ghost was trying to get inside him...
ive seen ghosts on more than one occasion. they are always a blur. the one that i saw in my house in philadelphia was clear. a man, in a fedora hat. with a black coat. it was strange. adn i smelled the smoke from a pipe when i saw him.
Ever heard of the witches Triangle. look into it sometime if not. it is a powerful belief that if you believe in something so much like little boys who believe there is a monster in the closet like the boogeyman and then his brother and friends play a trick and shove him in and locked the door and later when they open the door, the boy is gone that if you believe in something so much and your imagination is so strong that you give something a form of life that it does exist. Oh and that really happened to a little boy a few years back. You can also pull in bad energy for the existance. Other then that i believe they exist. ghosts are spirits of those long sinced passed away. I have seen in cameras after using the Ouija board bright white orbs, thousands of tiny orbs ranging from size to size.
I have seen a few ghost in my life time and have heard them talk a few times as well
As a child, yes, but as an adult, no.
In the house I grew up in in Arizona, I once woke up in the middle of the night and saw the shadow of a figure standing in my bedroom in front of my window. I went for the light to turn it on and just before I turned the light switch on, I looked back at the window and the figure was gone. I slept with my mum and pop that night, lol.
Also one who saw them as a kid but not since. Knew my grandfather was dead before my parents got the call, and used to talk to one in our house when I was a toddler. Mom thought it was just an imaginary friend until I told her he'd been watching her in the shower.... I also have a memory of hearing a mans voice and coughing coming from my parents room when I was kid.
I also believe my grandfather (or another friendly/concerned spirit) woke me up from a house fire at a friends house when I was teenager, but that was a bit different from actually seeing a ghost. I was woke up by a man yelling, but but I was the first one awake and had to wake up everyone ese in the house (plus I was the oldest at 16), so....
Yes, I have.. As a teeneger a saw 3 ghost in my home. Two older boys, close to 18 and A girl around 12. I also have seen instead of ghost, I am going to say spirit much more accurate, I have seen the spirit of a close friend who died 8 yrs ago, and I have seen the spirit of my father.
I used to work in a nursing home. We always knew before someone was going to pass away. Just about every patient on that floor complained about a boy bouncing a ball up and down the hall ways. Sure enough later that night someone always died.
I have seen what I would consider to be ghosts. The most colorful one was when I was about 15. A couple of us went up to this very old house and walked to the front porch. No one was scared or talking about scary things so there was no preplanned ghost thing going on. I actually think we were going there to smoke. When we got to the front door there was this grayish blue glow of a sort. The next second it was a person. A lady holding a lantern and the lantern was where the light was coming from. By the time I had my senses, the other two people were in the truck and reversing by the time I thought to run. It was real.
I've seen real ones and also have been touch by one, to the point of being hurt physicly. I saw many, even one 3 days or nights ago I should say, they were 2, standing next ot my bed.
i have seen a few ghosts, up till i was 22 my mom for some reason always ended up chosing a haunted house, the last house i lived in befor my apartment it was so creppy at night i would not sl;eep in there alone with out a light, anfd i love the dark but that house freaked even me out
A ghost? Maybe. Here in South Carolina, we have a town called Blehnam (sp?). It is famous for a set of lights that slowly move through a field. Scientists have tried to explain it, to no avail. First thought was swamp gas. That was then proven wrong. I have seen the lights and though I can't say it was a ghost. I can say that it is not normal.
more then once :) my best friend killed himself :( and I see him every so often.
there is no such thing. one cannot prove a negative. well i'm an atheist so yeah ghost are imposible.
I have actually seen many in my time. All in the same form they were in when they passed, which too me is a little frightening.
1. Was my Grandmother, she was shot to death and thrown in a bayou close to our house. We since then moved into her old house and I've seen her many times, pacing the floors and checking in my my sister and I.
2. Was a younger man, most likely passed away from a drug overdose... what was so shocking about him was the fact he would lay inbetween the ceiling and the top of the ceiling fan and watch people. (P.S I don't actually remember these one all too clear, however I did tell my mother, and then in turn, she tells the story now)
3. Was a young one stabbed, her hair was natted and she was in a soon to be remodeled old mansion. Her throat was slightly sliced open....
Yeah, all of these were when I was younger, and apparently my parents heard me speak of them many a times. The one I remember the most, and still feel around me to this day is my Grandmother.
Odd connections with the otherside...
I saw and heard a ghost in a turn of the century home in FL. A women died will giving birth and her ghost is seen from time to time..I saw it when I was 12! It scared the living hell out of me...
I live in a very old house. I have never seen a spirt but I have felt them. I wish I would see one.
I don't know if this counts but I have seen red eyes floating in my closet when I was younger. That same closet door used to just open randomly for no reason.
I have seen a ghost face to face once when i was little. it was a small boy flouting in front of me then i heard a womans voice call a name and it turn and disappeared. but that wasnt the last time i saw one.
i have encountered several times communicating with dead family members i was sapose to see a lady for she said i may be gifted but the week i was sapose to meet her she died, from the first day of this happening to me i have had a few more times when this happen to me , it is spooky in a way when it happens its just a feeling you get but its really cool and yes i agree every child who has said theve seen a ghost or ect parents know that the children see something /someone for they have seen it to in there early days but just dont want to frighten them
Actually, it'd be more surprising to read someone HASN'T seen a ghost. Since most socially-acceptable folks find the idea of ghosts absurd, many among them find it necessary to turn a blind-eye to actual paranormal experiences. I know for a fact the house I dwell within is haunted by at least two deceased. There's a middle-aged man in my basement who frequently turns lights on. He also has a bad habit of turning the stove burners on. The man often reaks of cigar, and on rare ocassion a cigar burn can be felt about the body. There's also a woman who rests in my room whom we call the Lilac Lady, for her perfume is very flowery; lilacy. She's talked to my younger brother when he was just an infant. In reality, I could go on and on about the Lilac Lady, but I'll spare you the time.
Everyone has seen ghosts. I don't believe much in the concept of a ghost, but in souls yes. Our souls sometimes become so attatched to their current life, they resist going to the Plains to take their next destination. Sometimes they can become masters of blending in with others and the person sitting next to you could even be one. I personally have never seen one face to face but i have been told by many their accounts.
to tell you the truth I have seen six four was my relitives my grandfather my uncle my cousen and my nece that was in one year when I was 13 then I saw my ex feoncay who died in cali in a juvinial corectional phacility that was when I was 17 then I took a trip to madem charesses she was a pimp that lived back during the proibition in chesterfeild New Hampshire she was famouse for three things one booze of any type weman and for having some of the most natoriouse criminals like al copone. when the ppl found out what she was they went to her house that was built like a castle to house all her mistresses and they burnt it down and now all that stands there is is the stare case leading up to one of the floors and if your lucky you can see her waking up it
I have seen many ghosts in my life started when i was about 10 they seem to pull towards me almost like they know i connect with them when i go past cemetaries i can see them emerging and returning to their resting places i can crossover lost spirits and guide them to where they need to go
I have had several experiences, one where, though invisable, and image appeared indented in a waterbed right in front of me once. More of my experiences happened when I was younger, not so much now. I believe they exist but don't care to actually have another meeting:)
I have not seen a ghost but I have felt the presents of a few
Hmmm...I may as well rant about one of my experiences with the paranormal. This particular event happened a little over ten years ago...
My son was born a few days before and his grandparents insisted upon the three of us staying over for the night. We decided to humor them and spend his first day home at their house. They didn't have any empty rooms available so we put our son in a bassinet beside of the couch, where we chose to sleep. It wasn't a fold out couch, so I let his mother lie down with her head in my lap...
I awoke to some shuffling sound emanating from the hallway that was in front of me,I have always been a light sleeper and seem to awake from the slightest of noises, but to my dismay I found myself unable to move anything except my eyes.It was a shock to me,for I couldn't even turn my head in the least bit.I glanced at the hands on the grandfather clock and saw that it was about four thirty in the morning and at the moment that I glanced, I caught a movement coming down the hallway towards me.I concentrated my sight on the movements, hoping that maybe it was one of her parents going to the kitchen.I was in need of assistance and was starting to get a tad bit worried over the fact that I couldn't move.Well to my surprise the figure that came through the hall was not someone that I was familiar with, it was an older woman. She seemed to be not walking, but more of flowing towards the living room. The woman had a very odd perception about her, almost a soft glow to her.She had her hair made up in a bonnet and wore a flowing nightgown with ruffles on the sleeves and around her collar.I was very confused at this and at that moment it didn't occur to me that she may be a spirit. She continued to progress closer and as she did so I noticed that within one of her withered hands she held a handkerchief.I could clearly see the bluish purple embroidery on it with small flowers in each corner...I was starting to feel very weirded out by this woman and tried frantically to move so that I might be able to wake up my son's mother that was asleep in my lap.It couldn't be done...I tried to call out her name, but could only hiss through my frozen jaws. The woman came to face me and look down upon,I couldn't tell if it was me or the sleeping beauty that lay in my lap,she then turned toward my son.At this point I was getting desperate with my failed attempts at moving and speaking....Then just as sudden as I was first awakened, I felt my legs heave and my son's mother's name came sliding through my newly freed lips "Tracy!"
The shimmering woman was gone and I was left with another woman, freshly awakened and staring at me with sleep filled impatience.I decided that it was best to just go back to sleep and tell her in the morning.Come the morning I described the nightly event to her, much like I have here, and she started to cry.She left the room and came back with a picture of an elder woman wearing a bonnet and a nightgown with ruffled sleeve and collar, she also, to my amazement, told me of her grandmother that had stitched her a white handkerchief with purple flowers and border...
i have , my mother pasted some years back and she comes around evey once in a while and trys to help me sort out my life..
Our senses seem to have a way of betraying us , however so much is unexplained and questionable .
