Heres a question to all the premium members.....
I've been thinking of getting a premium membership for the last little while now....but im not entirley sure its worth it because, i dont think i would use it to its full advantage.
Can you tell me what you use your membership for mainly, whats your favorite feature, and all in all....is it worth it???

I like the Lurking Option, lets you be able to get things done without the burden of being attacked by messages...........LOL

im a big fan of seeing whos been on my profile and what they rated me. that way i can ask how to improve. but there are other features like lurking, turning biting off/on, turning stalking off/on, see your ratings, the friends lists you are on and more.

ive been a premi for about a month or less and i still havent used all my abilities. there are some things i just found out today how to use. lol

Lurking. And you can do more with your profile.

It is well worth the cost, and helps support the site.

What is the down side of it? None.

the cost certainly doesnt bother me, and I'd love to support the site....i just dont think id use it to its full capacity (if thats the right word).
I guess its like a computer, you find new things out everyday hehe

It was worth every penny. I like being able to log on and lurk around the site without anyone knowing. I also love being able to see who has viewed my profile,portfolio, and journal. It is nice to know who is stalking you as well.

I am quite happy with my premium membership. I've actually gone so far as to buy a lifetime membership. I find it to be totally worth the money.

The features I like best are lurking, of course. As well as being able to fully customize my profile. And seeing what people have rated you is always a fun thing.

i love it..the only ppl who get to use any of the site updates are the premium members. and yes..the biting off thing is fab.. plus the ability to see what you were rated..gotta love the "heres a 10" and they really gave you an 8 LOL

My only thing about customising my profile is i dont know ANYthing about HTML, and such. When my friend got her membership her and her brother who are computer skilled, didnt even sound like they were talking english lol

I enjoy all the extras you can do with your profile. And, being able to see who's been to your profile, as well as what your rates are.

Also, with the membership, you can see who is stalking you, and more.

Not to mention that you are supporting the site... and that is a boon o fit's own.

The other advantage that few people talk about is that you can have as many premium profiles as you like. So you can have multiple profiles.

You don'r have to know much about hotmail....you can use pre-made myspace codes

I'm lurking now. Similar to the Cloak of invisibility :) By all means buy the Premium Membership

I like that you can change your user name.
Lurking is good too.
But best of all, you can embed music to your profile.

The thing I like most is, being able to see who rated you what.

Oh, and let's not forget stamps. Instead of having to type who you are, etc, when you visit a profile, you just hit the 'stamp' box, and it's done automatically for you!

I like all the features, the lurking the most just to be invisible and to see who has visited and rate you are nice as well. Gabriel

I think all the perks are great, all the things you can do, it's definitely worth it.

Actually the only feature that I don't use is the forwarding of messages... its nice to know who has visited your profile and rated you and its really nice to know who has added you to their friends lists...

Everything about it is a perk. Seeing who has rated you, lurking, who has you on their friends list. And you can not beat the price. Compared to other web sites that you would pay to become members this one has by far the best features. You can get a whole years worth for what you would pay a month elsewhere. My advice just get it. If your worried then buy only a month's at first to see of you really like it.

How much does a Premi membership cost? I think I might have read it somewhere once but I can't find it again...

Im not totally interested in a lifetime one right now....Maybe if ive been here for about 5 years i might. But i would definatley prefer the Yearly one. Again, the cost doesnt effect my decision.

forgot one major thing, the css and the style editing of the profile all the extra that can be done as a PM to a profile and its pimp up wowowowow trust me just for that its worht it

So far with the features I have used its been great. I like the lurking best so far.

The premium memberships are great. I actually jus renewed my membership for a full year.

css is the codes you put in to have like a total back ground, transparent tables, hoovers on the links, and color of the menu of vr on each sides that kind of things and music

CSS = Cascading Style Sheets, it's a coding system akin to HTML.

Someone gave me the gift of my premium membership. I have no idea who! I just got a message from Cancer one day saying that an anonymous member bought the membership for me! I will most certainly renew the membership before it expires, for at least a year and maybe lifetime.

The features I like best are lurking, the extra codes permitted on the profile, unlimited photos in the portfolio and the file storage feature. I have yet to set up my VR e-mail account, but I'm sure that will be great to have also.

thats where you store you rmusic for your profile, the pics for the background and the stams and other things

As everyone else has said it has it extras and special features, I have not regreted mine at all ..

its worth it. The Premium Members menu is of great uses as well as the opt. to save data on the system.

It's definitely worth it. I use it to lurk and to see who's been viewing my profile and what people rated me.

I bought a premium membership for my first year and then a lifetime membership and have not regretted it.

My selling points:

1. See the last ten who visites your profile, portfolio, and journal. I often go back re-rate people who visit me. It is helped me make a lot of friends on VR.

2. File Storage - you can post more pics in your profiles using HTML. You can also post in other places like myspace. It is like your own little photobucket or imageshack account.

3. Customize your journal and jazz up your profile better than free memberships.

4. Use of a customized stamp when rating profiles.

5. Discount in VR store.

i dont really use the lurk feature. i like being online- not lost somewhere in between. lol. but i love the rest. havent even tried out my storage. lol

Try it for a month...you'll wonder how you could stand to not have it. it's highly inexpensive and it's a way to support the site. More $$ equals more opportunity for Cancer to improve and expand the site.

i just got premium membership only yesterday i.e; 13th of june .yet to see all the features .so i would be able to explain only after looking into everything thta has in it.

i`ve had a 6th month one and a year one recently. if your not sure if you will use it to its full capacity get like a month one to try it out and if you like it upgrade.

I like to see who has been on my profile, and what they thought of it mainly. Also, things like people visiting my journal etc remind me that I really should post!

I would recommend it, but I would give it a go maybe for six months or something, rather than a full year one.

premiums are great. you can see who added you as a friend. who rated you what. the last ten people to view your profile, portfolio, and journal. and lots of other crap. it's pretty cool. you can make some sick layouts for your profile too

Maybe you can try a 6 month membership to try it out and if you do not like the extra perks like being able to see what opeople have rated you being able to lurk , being able to customize your profile and many others then you do not have to renew it at the end of 6 months.

I like it all...

The being able to block the incessant biting and needless stalking...being able to lurk so I don't get bombarded with messages...seeing who in my friends list is online...(I know mean to pick and chose but I do it)..being able to see what I'm being rated...having the extra email accounts...being able to show off my html knowledge...and having a customized stamp...LOL

If time dedication is your problem I'd advise against it...no use paying for something you won't use to its full benefit.

I think being able to see what people rated you is nice but it can also be bad. If people see you rated them lower then instead of taking it, they rate you lower too. It kind of defeats the rating things fairly idea... Prey knows what I'm talking about...

Well in my opinion everyone should have one I had one last year and plan on getting one this, the extras are great and you actually have much more control of your profile and your privavcy if you need it knowing who and what rate you got from whom, lurking, storage, change and have much more fun with your profile. etc ti just goes on and on... :)

Well, I really do not like it when people add me to their friends list and then do no tell me. With a premium membership you can see who has added you. I think that my absoloute favorite feature would have to be the ability to see what some one has rated you.

My favourite feature definitely has to be the lurking though. This way if I am trying to accomplish something, I can lurk and not get bombarded with messages from those who use the email like a messenger...LoL

i like it all, i recently got a year long PM and i love it. i also like lurking the best...and just to be able to see what others rate you.

i do not pay at this time but my b/f does and it is well worth it in mind for the things you cant do being a none paying member...

I definitely recommend it. There's more you can do with your profile and you can see who indeed has rated you so you can return the favor. I also like to lurk at times when I need to get some serious work done.

I would say, being able to block the negative comments of jealous members is my best feature. Haven't had to use it lately, but it's nice to have if I need it.

My second fave would be the lurking feature. I often don't have much time to spend on here, and allowing myself to lurk, helps me get things done quickly so I can get on with my real-world activities. :)

Good things come in threes... My third fave feature would be, being able to use HTML/CSS on my profile... I just love tinkering with the code to make my profile adhere to the way I envisioned it to be.

I love being able to lurk, create a customize stamp, do nifty things with my profile, see who has rated me, and turn off the pesky little biting feature.

Between popcorn, soda, and a ticket, you could spend $23 at a single movie outing -and that is less than 3 hours of entertainment. All things considered this is a very cheap leisure activity.

Does anyone actually use their VR email? Or did I miss someone mentioning this feature?


Also... I have heard it mentioned that Being Hallowed (lifetime membership) is not a guarantee of Cancers mark... but if you go through the hallowed list you'lll be hard pressed to find those who are not so marked.

I would definitely say its worth it...personally i like everything about it but if i had to choose my favorite parts are lurking and all the added things you can do to your profile

Lurking, definitely lurking - when I am working on the database I don't get swamped with messages.

I have to admit that the email address thing is pretty much ruined by the amount of spam mail, but its still neat to have.

It also lets you identify the people who are playing games leaving comments like "I rated you 10" but you can see they left you a 4

It really is worthwhile and when you work it out, a very small price to pay for something that can occupy hours of your life.

premium is the best over all... the only way to go... i would have it no other way... need to get my life time now... wicked kisses and blessed be, darla...

Originally I bought my membership because I couldnt STAND not having a background and music on my page....now that I have had my PM for a bit I have come to LOVE being able to see who has rated me and who has been by my page...its also nice being able to see who is on my friends list so that I can be sure to add them as well since not everyone tells you when they add you lol...I totally think its worth it

Premie memberships are nice. There are lots of advantages. I like that you can really dress up your profile. Lurking is nice and the ability to store files and stuff is cool too.

I really like VR and as soon as I run out of my year membership I'll upgrade for life. On both my accounts in all likelihood. Give yourself 6 months or so to see if you're really going to use it, then go for the lifer account.

I like know who has rated me what and that I get to fancy up my profile nice.

If you are going to stay in Vampire Rave, then I think its more fun to have a premium membership, plus any new added features of the website are primarily made for Premium Members. It also cuts on the advertising :)

Oh it is definatly worth it. I love mine. Best move I made. I am just starting to use the added features like lurking and it's great to be able to see who has you on their friend list.

let me just say YES YES YES. for many reasons.
not only does it make things easier, u have more control. u can decide whether or not u can be seen as online or not. (u can turn on lurking and then when u are online, no one will see u) u can turn off biting and stalking so no one can bite or stalk u. u can see who has rated u and what number they gave u (so if u get a one, u can at least ask why) U can see who all has u on their friends list, journal list.

u can even have a customized stamp so that when u rate pages, all u have to do is check the box marked STAMP (which will be next to the buton u click to rate) and then ur own image or text will appear, making rating easier. A lil less personal but easier.

Not to mention u can change ur username any time or as many times as ud like. u get some megabites of file storage to save stamps and bites that u make for urself.

I mean the list goes on . i dont think ill ever not have a premium membership now that i have one. when mine expires, i migth go for the lifetime one.

but then again if ur not on this site very often it might not help u.

I loved mine when i had it .. I got a 3 month for a trial run .. Now I am in the process of just getting the lifetime..It helps with the site and the extrasare sweet .. I like the fact that you can see who has visited your site and what they rate.. The lurking is a good option and , the email was a good one I just never used it to often.. The more codes you can use in your profiles is awesome.. you can make it look the way you truely want it to
