Personally if a vet was in the building my steaks could be brought back to life. Lol

All I have ever done is feed off of energy. That is due to not having a donor willing enough. My now fiance however has decided to fill that slot, and later today will be the first time I fed from someone's blood.

Well, first off, I don't consider my vampirism as a "lifestyle". It is my state of being, it is who I am. With that said, I feed though many means, Psi, Sang, Elemental, have yet to feed sexually but am looking very forward to my first time.

i feed off energy i guess its much simpler than feeding off blood (not to mention neater)

Unfortunately if I am highly agitated I seem to draw energy a bit more than usualy and it doesn't even have to be from a person. If I am highly frazzled - I have been known to blow out light bulbs, radios and larger electrical appliances.

i used to drink blood..over a year ago.I stoped
doing this..cause it was making me crazey.
I needed more and more..it was never enough.
so i quit..and started to feed off energies.

And yes, I have licked my own blood off when I hurt myself, and yes I have tasted of others' blood when I was taking care of their wounds. Obviously, I have isnce stopped that practice unless I know the person really well, but back then what did we know of AIDS?

I have always wondered if vampires, TRUE vampires, are self healing, and are immortal to everything that would kill a mortal, wouldn't diseases like AIDS and such be just as ineffective?

im not a vampire so i dont really drink blood though if i were it would be from a drug and disease free donor

Most everyone takes energy from various sources including blood. That is the concept...the concentrated energy within it not the blood itself. If it is the blood then its a mere fetish but I would assume some could have both the need, desire and the fetish. It woudn't be impossible for someone to have all of these things at the same time.

Vampyrics feed on an uncoscious level as well which most seasoned vampyrics are well aware of. Blood, I won't touch it. now. It is too tained with disease, some of which cannot be tested for.

I prefer blood, as I have no experience with drawing in energy from around me.

I feed on blood and half the time I don't really care if they are willing or not. The odd thing is, I donate blood. But it's only to be around that much of the red stuff, it really gets the heart going...I mean so many meat-puppets hooked into machines designed to suck the blood out of them, it's almost euphoric! In any case, blood feeding is my favorite because it's a connection with the person. Energy stealing isn't personal enough for me

I drink blood and feed on energy. And it's not always sexual for me. I have walked into rooms and taken energy from people I don't even know. Most of the time I don't even try to do it. Many times when I was a kid I would go some where and be really tired, pale, sick looking and when I would leave I felt better but the people around me started feeling sick,tired, etc.....that always freaked me out then. Not so much now. lol

All vampyrics feed on energy. This is what is derived from blood but is only one source. I am pranic period...I get energy where I can get it but not via blood because too much of it is now tainted. If pinned down I would say more to the elemental, sexual, empathic areas. I could be considered Eros or Succubus type depending on who is doing the naming. There are other energies as well that just come from everything that is unconsciously taken. There are names for all of this but I stay away from all of that. I don't consider myself Psi or Sang because I hate the tags given. To me a vampyre is a vampyre is a vampyre but you know the subculture isn't believed in by most so...does it really matter?

This is such a hot topic all over the community and just about everywhere people talk about living vampyres and I wonder why...seems like we talk about this sort of thing more than others talk about food, lol. I am allergic to most regular foods but not so much I cannot eat most of it. Some people do like rare meat but that really doesn't have anything to do with vampyrism because dead blood does nothing whether animal or human, except in movies.

i certainly prefer blood... willingly given, i dont force people to give me blood, and when i find a donor, it is a bond very intime...

I personally feed from energy mostly...I am bad at times too.....I will steal it when I am out at clubs I can't help myself....I get drunk off energy and can never get enough.
The same is said for sexual.......but I tend to think that energy and sex go hand in hand and like energy I never get enough sexual feeding.
I will take from blood but that is very very rare (no pun intended) I have only taken from a very select few. But it is not my first choice.

I don't know that I necessarily "feed" off energy, but I find that when I am around people, I tend to leave them feeling exhausted ... don't know if I am taking energy and not realizing it or not .... I love the feeling of sexual energy tho ...it is so powerful and amazing ...

When I cannot pull enough energy away from the surroundings, I will confront certain energetic people and feed off of them. Usually they are spunky and lively people, and once I get my fill, I need my alone-time. However, mostly I generate my own energy and often am the target of others hungry psy-vamps (often those who don't know they are vampires).

Blood is an emetic. All those that I know that are predominantly sanguine can only drink a small amount each time. Some take only once a month or so and others every week.

Like anyone else most will vomit if they try to drink too much at a sitting and also it would be harmful to the donor. I have been told that some build up a tolerance and over time take larger amounts but what I have seen drink about the amount of a shot glass. I have never attended any feeding circles or things like that but I know they have them. Sometimes things just happen with people because they believe that is how it should be due to novels or movies. I cannot tell you how many times I have been asked if I fly or if I kill my donors (don't use any). The variety for people is far rangiing. Some blend feeding with their fetish interests. Some blend it with tantric practices...It's an individual choice but to actually hunt...not too ethical from my point of view.

I had a friend who would go to bars (lady) bring men home and take a small knife and make a cut into the meaty shoulder area. Nothing much to make a large scar but enough to get blood and she really didn't know these people but they were so drunk they didn't care. Plus of course she is a sexual feeder as well.

She no longer does this but she did when she was younger. I think young people are more the risk takers in the beginning when they realize what they are and what they need or think they need and go for it. Some like this very intimate connection but as for me...I don't. It relates to my spiritualism and magickal background. I have had thoughts on this type of feeding but...I just stay away because I think once a vampyric tries it...they will always want it. This is just my belief and I have no basis in scientific or anecdotal fact ... I just feel it in my gut so to speak. I don't want to get involved in that type of feeding for what I have stated here previously, extreme health issues.

I used to feed off the sexual energy, but it seems as time passes and the random encounters are non-existant anymore that there is no energy in monogamous sex for me. I wan't to clarify the word 'feed'. Not in the draining of anothers energy per se, but more a heightened physical awareness and closeness with the other person. Yes … I can need energy sometimes depending on what iv been doing and take from a crowded area if im no where near home or a lover.
also if sitting near someone I wish to feed off on a train I take what I need and find it amusing to watch them fall asleep.
With a lover it is so much more fulfilling and a tide effect happens with the ebb and flower of energy, a ones happens it’s as polarized as making love verse plain old lustful sex.

I used to think of it as feeding...But then I learned to give and receive, find the right partner and create a full circle of energy. It's much more fullfilling.

I've only tasted the blood of one. It was a mutual, sexual and mentally bonding experience. I would probably not do it with anyone else however, the desire is ever present.
