Well, after having a discussion with someone earlier this morning I was curious, do you feel that your personality fits what you birth sign is or do you feel you out of place ?

By birth sign, do you mean your zodiac? Like I'm an Aquarius, so are you asking if I believe my personality fits that of a stereotypical Aquarian?

There are some aspects that i feel do seem to fit me better than others. I have found other aspects of other astrological signs that fit me as well as my own.
Sort of feels like maybe i was born under 3 or 4 different astrological signs. :)

Well my personality deffinately is that of my sign which is "CANCER". I do understand why you would ask such a question. I've met people that don't show the characteristics of their sign and it throughs me off. For example I'm drawn to Capricorns, Sagitarians, libras and Scorpios. I'm true to my characteristics and will run into a person thats not.

From what I have read about my Star Sign it fits my personality to a T. A bit unerving really.

That how I feel about me as gemini most the time, so predictable to a certain degree and then so not to another, you never know what to expect with me. And that can eiother be a very good thing or a very bad thing an there is no middle ground, usually

other way around. i was told my zodiac and what it entails and thought "i can do that, that sounds fun!" and thats when the leo in me was born.

Yes, I am an Aries on the cusp of a Taurus. It depends on the day as to which way I go. So, when I do read my horoscope I read them both. :D

Scorpio here. Sometimes I feel that I fit my sign and other times I do not feel that it fits me. I tend to have a lot of the ways of the scorpio but also see some of the Aqurius(sp) and the Taurus. It really depends on what mood I am in basically.

In general terms I feel I fit my sign, yet not completely, there are always variables.

I dont really believe in zodiac sign stuff...but then again, I'm a gemini and gemini's aren't supposed to believe in zodiac signs...so...

The problem I have with astrology is that my zodiac sign is based off of sky charts written not in the year I was born, but rather on a celestial chart written way before my time. The stars and all heavenly bodies are constantly moving; the stars in the sky at my birth are not in the same location 20 years later. Also if you are born in the southern hemisphere, your visible night sky is different than what the northern hemisphere sees.

As to the daily horoscopes, they are too vague to be accurate. Not to mention that if you check multiple sites, you will get completely different vague prophecies.

Are we talking about our Sun sign or Ascendant? The Ascendant is more indicative of your personality than the Sun is.

I have the Sun in Pisces, but just barely, while the Ascendant is fully invested in Aquarius and I find that Aquarius is much more fitting to my character.

Ah...well..in that case...I'd have to say that as an Aquarian, there are so many different takes on what an aquarian is supposed to act like. Reading those descriptions, it makes me think, because they are only vague about the qualities of each sign, and in that aspect, each quality could belong with any of the signs. As for whether or not I act like an aquarian should...sometimes I do.

I tend to follow the Chinese Zodiac, of which I was born under the year of the snake in the hour of the rat, and I can definitely say that I have those qualities down to a T...it doesn't matter to me though. The universe seems to think that both myself and my boyfriend are compatible...and that's all that matters to me.

VIrgo - yes to that question. Everything has a place, so leave it there. : )

Pisces here....i feel that my sign fits me almost completely i am a dreamer a romantic and i am easily influenced by my feelings for others but sometimes i feel that pisces is seen as a push-over and that is not me at all

I's hard for me to tell. I am a scorpio, born on the cusp of saggitarius.... I have a scorpio's temper...
But really, I think that Numerology has more merit than the Zodiac signs, since it takes way more into consideration.

Well the sun sign is just your general overall makeup. Your personality and appearance is linked to your ascendant and that is why people often don't recognize themselves by the sun sign. Then you have your personal signs of mars mercury and venus. Your temperament, vocation and you emotional side. This too will again make a difference as well as where your moon is located. Then where they are placed on the chart...what houses and what not. Even the hours, minutes and degrees mean something. How much fire, earth, air or water you have in your natal chart and the list goes on. The sun sign is just something people use to give an overall glimpse but that is all it is and you may be nothing or so affected by other things in your birth chart that its diminished in many ways. People think I am well I use to be called Cinderella like I wasn't worldly even though I am an Aries and they thought of me as an airhead sometimes and this is because of the Gemini rising and why I have so many interests but to say I have mastered any...I don't know. I can talk a lot :) but most feel that isn't a very good attribute.

Actually my personality does fit what my birth sign is for the most part.... There are a few differences, but very few...

I am the Libra of all Libras LOL! I am indecisive to the point that it drives certain people batty. I also hate conflict(only if I know the outcome will be negative) at all costs. I usually always understands both sides of an argument, and have been told that I possess the Libran charm. *grin* haha.

I do feel like I somewhat fit the profile of a Capricorn, but I don't think I am ambitious or conservative. I was actually supposed to be an Aquarius, but I was born early. Aquarius is my rising sign, and Gemini my moon sign, so I feel like I have much more in common with the air signs of the zodiac...

I am a true Taurus from horns to tail. My horoscopes are generally really close, so I try to monitor them frequently to keep myself from starting too much shit with others.

I go by the Chinese and family and friends think it has me picked down to a tea.

As far as Chinese zodiac goes I am a Dragon and yes that does fit me.

I am closer to the Cancer side of Leo but I feel that the Leo traits are more a part of me than Cancer. Depends I guess.

I'm a leo...that means i should be quick to anger and eger to be incharge...yup both true!

I'm a Gemini; creative, talkitive, multiple personalities!! ... LOL and No I'm not crazy!!! That's why the Gemini is represented as twins. Geminis tend to display a second personality from time to time. I'm at home and comfortable with what my sign is and how we fit together!!!

I am Pisces, on the cusp of Aries. I feel like I am more Aries than I am Pisces, but I also feel like I have some Piscean qualities. I am very water oriented though, so I think the sign I was assigned, fits me..

But I was supposed to be born April 7th, not the 20th of March.... I've always wondered if the sign you are -supposed- to be born in, or even the sign you're conceived in, influences your character and your personality.

Interesting as I never thought of myself being anything other than an Aquarian. yet I was born 2 months early as well so I will have to look into the other sign as well to look over possible likenesses

I know that some times, I fit more of the Aries than the Pisces, sometimes the other way around. And still other times, it's a blend.

My sign is pieces. I can relate to my sign completely but i also i have the Chinese sign of the horse....both of those are very very strong signs.

AnimeKikei - your natal chart never changes. The Ecliptic is always moving which accounts for the different locations of the stars and planets throughout time, but your natal chart is like a snapshot of the planets at the time of your birth.

This tends to be difficult for people to accept, especially when it comes to the question of when the "soul" enters the body. If you get into astrology, learn how to construct, and then delineate a chart, you begin to recognize that the aspecting events, applying events, etc. etc. also pertain to your personality. It's not based solely on the location of the planets and stars at the time of birth, but knowing your precise date and time are crucial in deciphering which planet is doing what to which planet.

LOL Well I am a LEO and I fit my sign just fine LOL grant it there are some things that I do not even come close to behaving as a Leo yet, fo rthe most part I am a true and typical leo. very Optimistic... and big heart.

I would have to say that mine doesn't fit me. Of course there are others who say that it does.

But when people were stopped on the street and offered their daily astrological reading, only about half felt that it applied to them. What they didn't know was that they were all being provided with the reading for Capricorn. So most of the half who said it applied to them, should have found to the contrary.

most things i read about the sign are pretty close however they are a little vague so it is easy for something to happen and for you to connect it with what you've read
