Keep in mind the first time I dabbled in alternative religions, I was around the age of 13 and it was right after The Craft came out... My first spell a binding one against other people who wanted to be in a coven with me for what I deemed the "wrong" reasons. Meaning they were out for personal gain and what not.

Looking back, I wonder how serious young teenagers are when it comes to spells. I am sure there are some who are eager to learn and have the maturity to practice a faith that encompasses spell casting, but is it any different than a 13 year old praying to get asked out by the cute boy who sits beside me in English?

It took me quite awhile to really understand the concept and principles behind religions be it Wicca, Catholicism, pantheism, the Church of Satan etc and my first attempts were rushed without the proper background to make the spells work.

Can't speak for everyone but when i asked for wind, and got it.

asked for rain and got it, i was a good 7 years from being 13

Well not sure if this counts but i did this thing to meet my animal guild. If that doesn't count my first spell was a blessing spell. I blessed this couple i married.

I think the first spell i ever done was a protection spell, but im not 100% positive about that...

I really can't remember my first ever spell as I was very young when I first cast any spells. However, the first one i remember doing that was of any real significance was a spell designed to open myself up fully, ready for my first acension at 13.

Yes it worked very well for me. I had to cast a protection as soon as i ascended to ensure I was safe.

I now practise chaos magicks and astral magicks.

My first spell...wow it's been years. I have to say it was to bring balance to my life and show me I was headed down the correct path. It worked and I've been on that path for 10+ yrs now and it feels just as right now as it did back then :D

i tried to invoke a spirit and trade for strength and magik but i did alot of things wrong and was plagued with awful hauntings for several months it was the demon of mischief ...

hmm..was a long time ago..and i'm not realy sure because i made two of them one after another. either it was Rain spell or it was Mind reading spell (or just concentration because i never realy needed to use that one). it worked afcourse..

Mine was to help me get my appartment. It was vacant and I didn't have a home.
I remember being uncomfortable with it at first. funny how that happens.

It worked by the way. Not the right appartment, but it was good for me!

She wanted to marry this guy and he was married already anyhoo he got a divorce and she is still with him now for 27yrs. On reflection I was "casting" spells at a very early age, but since I was a child I did so in somewhat of a childish manner, so I don't count them actually. But the first one I count was more of a question than a spell and I was around 8 years old..

As I lay in bed I put forth a question to the "powers that be"... If there is a God I'll break my right arm, if there is no God I'll break my left arm, of course I see the conflict of the question now, but...

The next day I was playing outside and fell over a fence and broken my arm, strange huh??

And imagine my surprise when it turned out to be my left arm, so a, God told me that it doesn't exsist, what a character God is huh!! Be careful what you ask or the spells you use is the less I learned!!:D

An inner strength driven by sheer will was the way I cast my first spell. I do not use words or signs or symbols. I never have. I simply closed my eyes and looked up to the sky and wanted rain during a three week drought. It happened that night even though it was just for my county.

LMAO My first spell!! OMG It was really funny, actually. I don't do magic like I used to. However, at one point I was very into it. When I made my first attempt I wanted to do something simple. I decided that I would try a rain spell. I don't remember the details of the spell, but I do remember that it involved shaking a broom at the sky and chanting. Wow... Imagine what my neighbors must have thought of me outside, shaking a broom at the clouds and chanting like a loon! Anyhow, it rained. *shrugs* Was it my spell or was it just in the forecast? I don't know. I do know that it scared me. I grabbed my broom and ran for cover. -.-

I did a banishing spell...and the next day the person lost their job and their car died...lol that must have been a potent spell, I have never forgotten it.
