what i ask is this what are your views on demonic possesion. i have witnessed a possesion though not demonic and to be honest it is quite unnerving

Demoniacal Possession

I know possession can happen, but I wouldn't go so far as to call it 'demonic'. At least, not in the religious sense of the word. Malevolent entities perhaps...?

As for 'angelic' possession, there have been cases of people taken over by long-dead composers, musicians etc to complete works for them. I guess this could be considered the flip side.

I had seen a few forms of possession. When a "evil" spirit or demon takes over the body it is very scary. No matter how tough you are your never ready for that experience.

I believe it can happen too. Frankly the thought of it scares the sh*t outta me...lol

I believe that possession can happen, I've never witnessed it firsthand...I don't know if I believe in the spiritual presence of "demons" but maybe possession by an evil spirit, perhaps.

BloodAngelx, I'd like to point out that Aleister Crowley was ready for that experience. lol. That was the whole point of his ritual with the demon Choronzon. He had his lover summon the demon whilst he stood in the triangle where the demon is supposed to manifest. Needless to say, he was possessed.

If your looking from a perspective of spiritual possession. Then you must look at it from a shamans perspective, from the vodoun priests who become possessed by the Loa.....

I have witnessed a possession of the demonic nature and was completely terrified. It is not something I will ever forget and yet would love to never remember.

Depends on the spirit that comes......it can be a very priety thing. But you have to keep ones head about you or risk losing it in most cases.

I like using spells that cause possession. It reminds people that they are not alone in their world. Not so high and mighty when they discredit. Things tend to a tad wonky around them and they have to look for other mediums the "normal" thought.

I find it interesting because of the nature of the experiences people have under the conditions of force posession. And thank you I have been around it enough times to know, its how you deal with the situation on hand, that keeps you safe from such things.

I believe in demonic possession . But I stay away from the Ouji Board that is dangerious shit . You can open a doorway for some thing to come out and that is serious .

i agree that the bord is very dangerous as i have had bad expierences with them but do you think a spirit could actually use it to possess someone?

I believe that people can let themselves be taken over by a demonic or by an angelic force. I have never seen it first hand, thank the gods, but I think it can happen.

I have seen it first hand when I was 15 years old. No one can ever tell me it didn't happen....just because you have never seen it doesn't mean it can't happen and I will call anyone a liar who says it can't happen...that's how sure I am!!!

I have never seen a possession before but i think that they can happen, their is too much information about possessions for them not to have a little truth to them, so i do think they could happen, but i will not be a believer until i see one with my own two eyes...

possession is not always bad. sometimes it is more of a symbiotic relationship. Shaman's do not view possession in quite the same way. of course, one can be possessed by a bad spirit, and they will often do so against the host's will, or even without their knowledge. a shaman will willingly allow himself to be possessed by good, helpful spirits. some spirits are tricksters.

some people say these spirits are just submerged aspects of the self, others say they are spirits from without. does it really matter which is correct?

I believe that if someone is sensitive enough they can be posssed. Using the board only makes it easier for them to enter this world.

I think that an entity can use someone as a host..... same thing..... perhaps.... I have been used as a host...... BUT, def. not by a demon.

i've had friends have it happen to them and had to fight the demon off on my own... it really is trying on the body and very unnerving at first, it really tests every essence of your being to actually battle even "weak" demons.

I have seen someone who was possessed. I would never want to see that again.

Small story from my family.

One night my grandmother and my great aunts were having some food and company. My grand mother was a heavy drinker and had been for some time. My others g.aunts were all what you would label as 'holy rollers'. Well the g.aunts started praying and my grandmother started talking in a deep male voice. She ran into the bedroom and slammed the door. My g.aunts followed and entered the room. My grand mother kept up the verbal assault with profanity etc. They kept 'pleading the blood of Jesus" and the more they did it the worse my grandmother got. My grand mother hit the floor and slithered backward under the bed. Now you have to have seen my grandmother at the time. She was 5ft nothing and every bit of 200lbs. The bed was 6" off the floor. Do the math...

She eventuall came to herself and was ok. But it still raises the hair on my neck writing this.

Just the thought of possession is scary. I cant even imagin what the people that have been possesd go through and how they get back to the life that they had before hand...if they even get back to it.

I had a very subtle possession happen to me. Turns out later after it was banished it was a Truth Demon. Now, that may not seem so bad, but as a natural instinct people lie to protect others. I was incapable of that during my possession, being outright and sometimes brutally honest, and not completely aware that I was being so offensive. I still have that to an extent, but that's also a byproduct of my Aspergers.

I believe it can happen. I met one girl who seemed to be possessed. I knew her before and I knew her after and it was really scary. I couldn't be around her for a while because it freaked me out so bad.

i do beleive that it can happen and does to this day. it is just usually written off as something else and medicated. but i have seen too much not to beleive that it cant happen.

When you've grounded again, you don't have any recollection of the destruction you have caused a person/people. So for that period of time it is like you are possessed. Unless you have been in this state it is hard to explain.

I do think it i a possibility that demonic possession can occur, just that it isn't as common as people make it out to be.
On a side not about angelic poossession it is an illogical question when you realize that possession of any kind is a violation of one's free will. It take something evil to violate that. THat is why people are not supposed to do love spells on people because it is a violation of our ability to choose. An angel would not violate that because it is inately good as a being. It is basically white magick vs. black magick in that question.

i´ve never seen a demonic possession, but i agree that it exists. What i saw was a schizophrenic person, who claimed to be the hand of God... well, doctors say that schizo people tend to be extremely religious ... and this guy was really out of his mind...

I have never witnessed a possession but when my older son was little I swore the child was Damien he was a very evil child and now is a very cruel adult......I always felt he was satans spawn......I have seen ghosts and have banished them but never saw anyone possessed

i witnessed one a long time ago and she had to be excorsised of it it was very scary so yes i believe it can happen the girl was like 12 or 13 my friends niece.

Now i have a question if you know someone is possessed who do you talk to get the invading spirit out. I still have to go see myself but my friend belives her 3year old is possessed.

Humans do a good enough job causing and creating their own possessions. There is no need for any demon to get involved. Take responsibility for your own actions.

Possession is very real. Though often not in the Hollywood sense (i.e. Linda Blair). Most possessions are hidden and slowly twist the minds around those possessed, leaving damage whereever it can be caused.

I have dealt with four cases of possession and numerous hauntings here in LA. Out here, anythign can happen, so be warned those that may be possessed may look normal and those who are not will looked possessed.

If one of you out there even thinks that someone is possessed, please seek help from those who're trained to handle such things. I suggest looking up the local sect of Santarians or Eastern Orthodox priests, the Catholica aren't a help here, trust me on this. Both the Satarians and the Orthodox should be able to tell the difference and help. Or will back off if wrong.

My ultimate advice is to look carefully at those who you think are possessed and make sure that they don't have a mental disorder like bi-polarism. Ofte as not those who are really possessed slip through the cracks while those who do't need that kind of help get put through things that I wouldn't wish on an enemy much less a friend.

But demonic posession is very real. Some believe in God. But what is god... a God! There are many gods but I only believe in two. The God of Heaven called Jehovah and the god of Hell call Lucifer. The god of hell has many many powers and can and will posess who he chooses. Is it always a human's nature to do such horrific things, is that how we are created? Absolutely not!
It is a sort of posession from evil that makes humans do these things. I have seen it and will always believe it.

Some possesions are due to who you are and your linage. Others are due to playing with the unknown in fun thinking its a game or joke. Be careful what you ask for. You just may get it!

It's true as many of your have pointed out that possession comes easily to those who don't know what they're getting into. Ouija boards especially, lots of people get possessed through them.
Since there are different types of entities out there, demonic possession is possible, and perhaps the most well known thanks to films like the exorcist. Also I reckon that evil spirits like to do things like that for their own fun.

I find it interesting that a person can be possessed. Not only in a demonic way but in a godly way too. In the bible there are many who were possessed in the spirit of God. As well as demons. So was Joan of Arch a nutjob? Or was she really hearing God?And faught for what is right and just. Was St Theresa a nutjob or was she blessed to the holy spirit to inspire millions daily by the worship of the Jesus heart of blood and water?
I think it depends on the persons spirit. Are they weak or are they strong? I have seen Demonic possession and I have even witnessed a prayer service over a person who you could see the difference clearly before and after. But I still am not sure of the answer. For I have seen people get caught up in the holy spirit and then I have seen people get caught up in animal totems too. It is actually interesting to watch all away around. Whether good or bad. I guess it depends on the person. Who knows... I surely donot but I watch it for it makes me ponder life.

I have not seen the actually process of possession but have seen friends that have been possessed. For myself, I do believe that demons can possess someone. However, I do agree with HHW a demon can get into your mind.

I dont know much about possession but what I understand is that you need a priest or someone high up there to help get rid of it.

yes i belive in this very much this is why.well this is my story i know when i was 15 i had a 2year old cosin who was very vilent for a two year old he has tred to kill his mothere in church bty trying to joke her or strangle he was talking in a very demonic voice well all i know is i started to pray for him and i rebuked the demons and told them to go back to hell were they beloged after doing this for about 15min they fleed.
then there was a time were we were at home and you started to try to atack his sister and i grabed him with love and kindness of course and i held him close and i started to pray once again but in a song this time rebuking the demons to leave him and to go back to hell were they belonged.
i had to do this off and on for 3mounths ever sence them he has been fine.i know this might sound crazy to some of you but all this is true it realy happened.

I think it's possible to be possessed. I have seen it, and trust me, it's scary. It's even scarier when you see it coming out of the body, a black shroud. I was in a room once when it happened and it jumped from one body to another one. I don't necessarily think it was demonic in any sense of the word, just a spiritual parasite, but it was really unnerving to watch. Especially in those split seconds when the person has control of their own body, and they start clawing at themselves, trying to get it out. That was the worst part, to have to watch while someone harmed themselves in an act to get it away from them, to make themselves a bad host. I cried...I can say that. However, it's right, in most cases, it is nigh on impossible to tell if someone is faking it or not.

I have not seen one myself but I do believe that it can and does happen. All through history there are stories about it.

You can be possesed. I have seen someone start to be possesed. I have never seen someone who has been fully possesed though...but yea i believe that you can be possed.
