Is it just me or does it seem like no matter what age [1-10000000] we are here, it doesn't seem to affect the way you see others like it may on any other personals site.
We're still all here for the same reasons...for friends, relationships, etc. Notice how we all seem to be the same age? It's a beautiful thing. Or maybe I'm alone on the subject being old as hell and not paying any attention...?

Not sure if this has ever been talked about before here, but I'm looking for your point of view/opinion..?

Well , I saw a poll that sais there's one person younger then 10 and one older then 50 . Most are 14-20 extremist kids looking for real blood suckers ..

I feel age has nothing to do with what goes on in here myself im on the mid to higher end of age groups in here but i find i like a persons thoughts or mind the way they express themselves or put their views across.
I found i have been intrigued by ppl's knowledge and depth in these forums or their profiles some are shallow and havent grasped the concept of thought they think being a sex crazed suicidal drug taker is cool i used too i grew up they will ive seen some young ones says things that open my eyes and think good on you.
The only time i pay attention to age is in profiles so i know what to say and if i can write between the lines or not ie:over 21 cool relax with what i say 13 or so up realise im talkin to young minds.

I don't feel that I'm judged here by what age am I like I am elsewhere. Out there in the "real world" and even on the net poeple see your age and treat you in a way governed by general statistics controlling the majority of that age group. Here people listen to what you have to say and consider it regardless of your age. Thanks everyone

Age is just a number...as long as you're older or the same age as me I'm pretty kool about it.

I don't see everyone as exactly equal, I'm always judging little ones a bit harder. I really dispies younger peoples...they seem to be getting more and more immature, and I've already got 3 younger sister at home who have plenty of that.

age is just stating the number of years you have been breathin on this planet. i think it is up to maturity the way you see people or maybe the expierences you have been thru that can change the way you see not just people but everything

Ok to be honest ... for most people, in most cases here, age makes little difference .. however some of us who are a bit older and "wiser" (and I don't mean as in being on the site longer, I mean as in actual life experience) You tend to see trends in age levels so to speak, it's nothing that we haven't been through ourselves, but the older you get the more you see of them. It kind of depends upon the situation and topic of conversation, in some responses you can very well see a persons age, on the same hand you can also see a little how that person carries themselves in everyday life ...

That's because she is a bit older than some people on the site. The older you are, the more experience you have racked up. These experiences lend way to a wiser understanding of the intricacies of life. We tend to learn from past experiences.

I try to treat everyone the same on this site. I am 34. yet I seem to always end up talking to the 19 year olds...lol go figure!!!

Elders are usually wiser then young ones so they tend to act superior ...

Age is just what it is.If you act younger or older then you are you will be treated as such.If people believe in reincarnation your soul inhabits a body after another has died so who knows how old anyone really is.

I treat others the same as everyone else. No matter their age. I only treat them differently if they treat me differently. And I'll give them more respect if they catch my attention by giving me respect, or if I feel they just deserve it. To me, age has nothing to do with it. If others treat me as equal, I treat them as equal.

I try not to judge by age thought, cause I know there are those maturer ones out there who are a lot more mature then the age that they are labled with. I know that's how it goes with me, I've met people in their middle and late 20's even some guys in their 30's less mature then I was when I was 16! The more years you have, the more expierence and knowledge you'll have true, but there's always that crackhead immature loser who never grew up out there. (my ex-step dad)

I guess it's just better to not judge by age at all really...

Age means nothing. It all depends on your mindframe. There are many here with a lot in common, like minds and such. The best are those with maturity and class.

hehe. i dont pay attention to age here on the forum..
but on ppl's profiles i have to admit that the msgs i send and comments i leave sometimes different depending on whether or not the person is 13!
i sometimes feel compelled to give 13 year olds a lil pep talk if their profile is dreary just because...being 13 sucks from what i recall!

but from what i've seen, at around 13-14-y-o the hormone fluxuations are just too insane for you to even be CLOSE to being able to deal with...what you will eventually realize to be life..

It is quite ironic that we are all close in age, though, I don't think that age matters to any of us... To some it may, but to the majority of us, we are looking for a friend... Friends, true friends, come in all shapes, sizes, and ages...

for most people age is just a numarical representation of physical maturity. i've met some people older than me that ack like more of a kid than me all the time. and most people mistake me for being older than i am due to my maturity

To me age isn't as important as maturity. We tend to judge/dismiss the "younger" ones as immature, but I've met too many "older" people that are no better than a child.

My mother leaves for Spain in September so she can work the fields there along with many more romanians . I'll be on dad's wager for 3-6 months . Until then , I'll try to get a job as a mere worker .
When she returns I will be a book keeper for her women's only restaurant (or women's gay bar) or whatever business she wants to start ... I am 17 and think as .. I don't know .. a 24 yr old burnout ?

I'll be 39 injust under two months and though I haven't been on this site long, I'll have to say that age has proven to be a non issue here. I've spoken to a couple of the most incredibly mature young people I've ever met here.

I think it has alot to do with the idea that most of us here have had to work for the things we have [or don't have] in our lives, and weren't handed everything, so we respect people/things more, and in that brings maturity and a very similar level of communication and thinking!!

I know exactly what you are asking. On here your age does not matter because you are all here to meet new people not date them. On any other site, the age would play a big factor, but not here

Myself like my father,who I take after. I get most of his traits and well in our minds it's set as Young and Healthy... everywhere we go ppl ask how is we are doing and we says "Young & Healthy".
He's over 70 and doesnt look it,
he looks more like hes in his 50's.

In some cases i guess it can be mind over matter with taking good care of your body and mind and you can look great in your prime.

Biologically I am about 24 age wise. But I am certain that I possess knowledge and experience from past lifes. If you study DNA there is evidence that we all have genes handed down from long ago. I do believe we are all equal. I believe that what one man can do another man can do or woman. I believe we all hand our wisdom down through the generations. When we ascend this mortal coil we all become eternal. So you see we are all truly ageless ;)

i believe everyone is the same at age, no matter if an individual is 20 and another is 84, we are alike

It is really strange but at the same time its great that you re feeling ok talking to much younger or older people.

:) i act like i'm 17 i'm as smart as a 17 year old should be, and i thirst for knowledge. i like reading the older members profiles because they make a lot of sense and they are thought out and the older people i have spoken with have great wisdom. i have seen many profiles of people my age and they are silly and full of quizzes (like mine) but some make great observations of life here as well.
i think age has a lot to do with the quality of profiles etc, but it's more based on the person, thier experiences on life, etc.

It's not age, necessarily, it is maturity and mentality.

Yes, I enjoy silliness, but not downright stupidity, or rudely wilfull ignorance.

I have seen some "adults" who possess the above undesirable qualities. Conversely, I have spoken with a few kiddos who can speak intelligently about the topics they know, express interestin actually leanring (not parroting answers) about topics they do not know, and seems to understand when silliness does not have a place.

It isn't really physical age, for conversation, but mental.

I would have to agree with Requiem ... I have found many a youngster (years wise) hold an intelligent conversation as well as older people who you talk to and wonder if they have left elementary school

On this site, age doesn't really seem to matter. We've all got something in common, and age doesn't seem to matter. I remember, first looking at some peoples profiles, I was surprised by some peoples ages. I saw people over 30, talking about the stuff I was talking about. I saw people with kids on a vampire site. This surprised me. I guess I've just begun to generalize all adults along with my parents, who don't believe in individuality, and would NEVER come on a site like this.

I think your ageless on here because we can't really see each other, most of our true pics are hazy at best and there is no cam so we are what we want to be.

age, time it is the same thing i care little for time or age it is the persona that matters when i talk to people on here ... time is to put it simple a preditor which stalks us all and we have to cope with it as best we can, it is the way of things, the way of nature so to speak, age is a number a statment.. weather it is acknolaged or not is entierly up to the person. i myself see age and time as a small obstical i simply step over it.

Well, in a sense you can say we are being ageless, seeing not everyone puts down the real age. I'm here to try and educate others about real vampyrism and just make some friends a long the way, yet, I can say I have ran into some people who believe they are ageless, and those people are pretty much on my, not to talk to list, seeing that they have let reality escape them.

Up at the top there, Aleks isn't correct. Age doesn't always bring wisdom. And maybe it isn't the fact that the kids are extremists, it is their age of experimentation. Kids will do crazy things, believe me, I know, I'm still only 18 years old. But I have been a Sang since I was 13, I had no fricken clue how the hell to quench the thirst I had, because at first, I didn't know what it was, that I had needed, it drove me crazy...

Stormie, you are completly correct in your statement about this site being ageless. If you really think about it we are all here for some purpose. some are here to make friends, understanding others are here to seek enlightenment, as well as educate. this is a wonderful site where age isnt an issue but most of all things like apperance, faith, and other things that society puts an empisis on that doesnt seem to be so important on this forum. we are all accepted here and that is what makes this forum special.

I like having a lot of being on here that are my age, most of my friends are on here and so is my boy friend so its great here.

I treat everybody on here as the same age but i have had conversations with people and then looked at there profile later and realised they were a hell of a lot younger than i thought.

I think I have a problem with the kids that are between 11 and 15 because they think they're life is complete shit and they want to die. And some of them I'll bitch and and then apologize because I was the same way 4 years ago. My problem is that I'm 19 but I had to grow up quickly so I feel 30 a lot of the time. When you're just talking to people though, you don't even think about age because most of the people on this site are actually pretty decent.

I think you're exactly right. The more people let society slip them into categories depending on their ages the more we limit and damage our inner selves. I'm glad someone has brought this up I think it is a serious issue. Age limiting and classifying lets us all neglect others and we have an easier job at just saying stupid things like, "it's normal teenage depression" .
We all deserve respect and love regardless of our ages. It saddens me to see Elders just sit in their homes all day watching tv just because they feel old.

however, I dont believe it when people tell me they where born in 1756 BC... if you had been, you would probably have better things to do than go on the net.
