I'm just wondering if happens to some of you here. I know there's an ability to connect dreams with someone but can it be done by accident too? I sometimes feel like it happens to me when I'm asleep.

I'm sure that anything is possible, but I've never had it happen to me.

I think it'd be most possible with someone that you're very connected with rather than someone you're just friends with or don't even know.

actually yes you can accidently connect to someone else's dreams. its really not that hard to do

yes definately, it has happened to me twice and both times with people that i am close too

speaking for myself here ....i didnt even do that on purpose and had not realized it until i was talking to that person and then we both realized what had happened

I sometimes think I can do that. But not trained to. I don't know. I think I'm a little paranoid.

Have you not confirmed that you can do that?

By the way, do you believe it can be taught? Or can't be taught?

Yes I have done it by accident. I did it with somone who was very coles to me...I think that may have a part in it...you may have to be bond..but I do know that it can not be tout....but it can be done..

it has never happened to me but i don have some friends that have experienced it without trying

well I think it can be taught my elder does dreamwalking. And trust me it is no accident. she has been taught by our elders before her. and so on.

Im not even sure it can be done period, let alone by accident but who knows. If it does happen im actually thinking it happens more on accident. Seeing as though no one ive ever know can consciously control a dream that way.

Oh yes it can happen. Altho I no longer do it on accident. I did when I was first learning to Dreamwalk. Now that I have .. well not totalt control.. but at least a great deal of control, I no longer invade dreams in accident. altho I can be distracted and pulled to someones if I am not too tired or did not prepare as I should have.

i've had it happen i think twice, and oddly enough it was both my kids fathers that it happened with......only thing was the one dream was exactly the same but the opposite........

I've had it happen a few times had friends tell me to stay out of their dreams and when they would descibe the dream i'd realize i to dreamt it

Yes you can. Mostly with those you are akin too. Or very close with.

So, it only happens if you're close to someone? What if it's someone you want to be with?

What if you want to be with someone? Doesn't have to be with somebody close, right?

I'd guess it would be a logical extension of Lucid Dreaming, however the mechanism for linking with another dream would either be linked to telepathy, or Empathic Projection.

I'd guess it happens more then people realise, just how many people actively compair their dreams?

It does happen all the time, but it really isn't by accident...Your's or their higer mind has connected for a reason...Yes it can be taught, but again this would not be a accidental connection...Clarity of mind is the key to better recall of these and any other dream connections...All connections happen for a reason, there are no accidents...

yes you can connect by accident it is not really hard to do but it is more likely you are trying to connect and just dont know it check out astrial travel or projection wiccans use it to do just that.

Yep, but keep this in mind.
When you do connect or share a dream with someone, you meet at the same place in the dream world. You don't go into each others minds. If you train yourself to do this, you can meet several people there if you wish. Find someone you trust and talk about doing this before you sleep, then again after you awake. Try to "meet" some place that you both know and have been together before. Some aspects of the dream will be the same between you. Work from there. Keep a dream journal!

i definitly believe it can happen... i just recently started a new journey in my life and dealing with my dreams... i wish you well and maybe you could do a little researh on it... wicked kisses and blessed be! darla...

Yes indeed. it is called dreamwalking, and I do it fairly often. I had to get permission from several people to confirm that that was truly what it was, but i recorded m dreams, and about half the time I made a concious effort to dreamwalk, my dreams and those of my permissors had too many similaries, and sometimes outright perfect synchronicity to be ignored. and yes, it can be taught, it is a fairly simple branch of meditation. I had to teach my aforementioned permissors after they realized that I was not a crackpot... and several of them had very good results. I dont reccomed it to people that cant keep their mouths shut, though. you never know what some people will try to pull with an invasion of privacy so deep as all of this.

I have had an experience like CLIX's. I connected several times w/ the dreams of my younger brother during a time when all we had was each other. We would often dream about situations where the two of us were together in a safe place and it even noted that during this time when we were connecting in dreams we would talk in our sleep. To each other! (our rooms were across the hall from one another and we always left our doors open). I do think you can connect in dreams w/ people you don't know but I feel it is simpler and more likely to happen w/ someone that you know well.

It's happened to me my whole life. Usually, I have no need to purposely dreamwalk, as I like to just roam about, BUT many times I have linked to strangers lives, or dreams, both like the 'fly on the wall', to being inside the person, to even conciously helping people in their problems, both thru the dreamworld and as a result of what they are currently going thru.

Yeah that has happened to me once or twice, I had a female friend start telling me about a dream she had, and when she paused to take a breath I continued from where she left off like it was a book. She wouldn't talk to me for like a month cause she was so freaked out about it. But I thought it was kinda funny.

I'm sure it happens to everyone all the time, they are just not aware of it. Everything is interacting always on different levels.

Absolutely. It has happened to me on several different occasions.

i personaly beleave that the only thing seperating our conciounes for others of humanity is our own will. the reason most only use 10% of their brains is because the other 90 is the world connected. some have more control over this and when i a DREAM thoes barriers are weaker so i compleatly think it is throughly fesable. though i beleave that it would be harder to conciously do it

i have ..i connected to my finacee the first night after we first started got together and were talking on the phone the next day and i was telling him about the dream i had had then he told me what happened next and was like how did u know he said cuz i was there too

Positively yes...and I know this for sure because the people who saw me and remembered told me when I asked if I had been in their's...and will continue to tell me, after asking them if they would

i have come to meet people in dreams that i never met in person before then down the road and in the near future i actually meet them and its an odd feeling and i almost get fait and pass out

its known as dream walking and it can be taught and trianed. it can be done intentionally or accidently.

if you can do it willingly, you can do it by accident

Its highly possible. Some dreams I haver had are similar themes of those other have had and other people have had my dream after I had the same one a few night before.

Yes, it is possible. Many wiccans do it. As I am learning currently.

Don't know about the many wiccans doing it but a good Shaman will be able to teach you how to dream-walk. This is not a wiccan practice. Best to find a Shaman. But it's your time and money.

Yes I definetly think it can be done by accident! Like others have said I also think it can be taught & controlled! It happen to me a few times when I was really young! It was always with my sister though!

As I posted earlier, my elders are able to do it and it is something that is not to be taken lightly.

I've actually done it before by accident I was in the same dream as my best friend of 12 years and we explained it to eachother and it was the exact same thing the entire story. It was so weird but really cool.

This has happened many times. I finally starting taking medication so I don't dream. One night, when my ex and I broke up, I forgot to take my med. I dozed off and here I was in a dream not of my own. it was my exes. Since then, I have not forgotten to take my med.

I belive it is not only possible but happens quite often. I met my ex-girlfriend thru my dreams, it really did not turn out all that well, but the point is, yes it happens.

The only person im able to connect with is my mother.
we are the only two in my family with psychic abilites.

I know you can because I did!!! I had a dream about this girl I never met and it was a nightmare were we were sticking up for eachother because of ppl were trying to say we should die because we do magick!!! We kept saying there are alot of ppl in the world who do magick like us and If they killed us all just because of it then there wouldnt be alot of ppl left in this world!!! So they realized and let us go because we covinced them!!! Brianna(the girl I met in my Dream) and I Hugged and we woke up!!! The next day I went to school and she was a new girl there and she asked me If I had a dream and she was in it I told her yes and we didnt stop talking about it all day so we both ended up with detentions because we kept talking during class!!! And because of that to this day were BFFL!!! We're happy that we met in our dream because not only was it interesting to other ppl but it was more interesting in our relationship!!! Sometime we still have dreams with us together and the next day we talk about it, it's awsome cuz we never run out of things to talk about just because of our dreams connect!!! So Yes I know dreams can connect to other ppl by accident or for a reason!!!

I have many times before with my friends

I've accidentally shared dreams with people before, and so has my mum.
In really bizarre ways. Me and a good friend of mine both dreamed that we were with the other, walking around a big city, going down back alleys and looking for something.
It's really weird how these things happen, and is totally unexplained. Yay for weird things!

yea me and m,y bf... i have actually never met him but once we shared the same dream

I beleive that it can happen. I have shared dreams with my boyfriend and the other night I shared a dream with my best friend

I believe you are fully able to connect dreams with someone, if you have done it before it tells me that you are very in tune with other people. You clearly have a psycic ability within yourself.

i have done it before mostly when i sleep but when i awake i can connect certain aspects of that dream with someone.

ehh it hasnt really happened to me for what i can remember, most of my dreams turn into nightmares, or dreams that i wish i could stay in.

It doesn't happen often, and most of the time I don't remember my dreams to really know how often I connect with people. I remember one other dream that I had of my best friend, and he vaguly remembers it.

I know that I have some degree of psychic ability because I have freaked people out unintentionally. It's just a matter to what degree my psychic ability is. Of that I have no idea.

i have been able to connect dreams and thoughts to loved ones and know when they are hurt or in pain. suck as suffering or just hurting from losing a loved one.

of course. My bestfriend always dreams something bad about her baby whenever her baby will have an accident.

yeah and it is freaky especially if that person or persons is a long way away and you cant get to them. it can put a toll on your with worry.

I'm sure it's quite facinating. I may have experienced something like that, but then again it might just be in my head.

It has happened to me a few times. The first time it was with someone I hadn't met yet and within a a few days I met this person and it was weird

I have on numerous occaisions...it always leaves you feeling troubled

yes it has been documented that connections in a dream state can be intentional, or accidental... I have only ever had accidental connections, but not since I was 7, I haven't dreamt since the age of 7 so I haven't encountered it in just over 11 yrs.

I believe it is possible and I might have done it once

ManSlayer every night someone dreams but it is the ability to remember is the thing. you may have though you have not had a dream since 7 but again everyone dreams it whether or not they remember them.

I had a dream a long while back aboout someone's death.

The next day I found out someone had died a brutal death, I made a comment that made a person back off from me afterwards.

I saw the victim and the killer.

I am not saying too much more other than I think I will post this dream in my journal.

The dream and the realization of it and the timing makes me not beleive it myself.

Give me sometime before checking my journal about this.

Dreams are an extension of Our Beings.

I agree with My Sister in an earlier post that a Shaman is more suited channel for seeking a better understanding of how comprehend them, or in some cases use them as a means of communication through a plan beyond our conscience mind.

Science and even Beliefs both acknowledge Dreams throughout our history.

Personally, I have and will continue to stay in touch with many Souls from this world and beyond through dreams. Not as part of my Wiccan Practices, nor my Vampyre Existance, but simply because I have come to understand it is part of Who I am.

It is very possible to connect with someone else on accident. It has happened to me on several occasions with people that I am not very close to.

Well I beleive it is possible. I have had dreams before that friends or family have stated they had the same one. Its very cool but wierd at the same time. Im not sure why or how but the theme seems to be a warning or a lesson that we need.

anything is really possible, though doubtful since each of us has dream that are unique to us, thats not to say that someone, loike twins cant connect to each other through dreams, but i dont know if we can to others not of the smae blood. but i might be true

yes u can i have done it plenty of times and gotten myself in trouble

there is a power to connect to dreams, but i've never heard of an unconiouse, unintentional connection, usually if that happens and you didn't do it that person is connecting with you for some reason, maybe they think you can help them, or it's a warn, it really depends is it a reoccuring dream? or can you remember it?

I myself have never connected with anyone else's dream. But I believe it is posible.

Yes I totally believe it can happen I myself have done it and I also think that it is with people whom share a common ground even if you are not aware of that common ground. I have done it with people that are far away yet we did/do possess a common ground.

As to being taught yes my ancestors and elders of my family has taught many in our family how to do it and the dangers etc. of it

My friend and I were sleeping in my living room and we had the same dream. We both had complete control in the dreams too. So I definitely think it can be done by accident,because I 've never even thought about doing it.

Although, I'd think it rare to connect to the same person more than once, and even so, most people do not have enough lucidity to make consious conversation in their dreams.

I do it on purpose, but my sister has it happen to her accidentally (since she has no idea how to do it, she just tells me about it)

I had a strange dream once when I was very little that I was visited by a person or a spirit who told me how the spiritual dream world was a wonderful, venturous place.

... Strange how I even remember it.

I did it by accident once. I was a preteen with a really big crush on an actor (no, not a teenie bopper or Boy band member). I was experimenting with lucid dreaming and I had a dream about him. I went to his personal website blog a couple weeks later and there was this little paragraph about it. It was kind of freaky.

I have heard about ppl reaching out in dreams. Connecting dreams is somethinng that seems very possible since dreams can become something almost tangible and create an alternate level of consciousness for both parties involved.

well iv never had it happen to me iv had dreams of things that will happen with ppl with no faces and iv had to figger out who they are about but never put a face to them without thinking

i beleive it would depend on the dream... if youre in a sertain place that can be real with people then its possible youre astral projecting. or possibly spirits are in your dreams with you. you should pay attenton to your dreams and search for meaning.

I know it can happen. I know it can be taught. I has happened to me and my younger sister since we were both very young, and I am in the middle of learning how to control it as well. In a sense, I guess it could be some sort of lucid dream as well. In any case, it can happen by accident or not.

I've expeirenced this once.. and only once.. and it was so scary.. i dont ever wish it to happen again. I was asleep in my bedroom, my mom asleep in hers.. suddenly I started dreaming about having a conversation with her... shes working on something electrical.. trying to fix it.. I was sitting on the floor beside her... talking and handing her things.. when she started getting electrocuted.. she was seizing and everything *shudder* and then I woke up with a start.. went rushing to her room to make sure she was okay.. woke her up.. and we realized we had had the same dream... it was... odd

ive heard of it being donr, an i THINK it has happened to me i mean me and my friend wer talkin of dreams we had just had and the dreams were identical, same place, same thing happened , same day evrything i think itd be awesome to do it intentionally tho

Darkie, I have done this with someone more than once. One of my best friends on the rave actually. We both have had the same dreams, but I seem to remember them more than he does. But he does remember one that both of us shared, and we both can't remember why I was at the place, but we both know why he was there. It's quite odd.

I've sahred dreams with those i'm connected with. All souls have twins and others that are so close as to be twins. I've have connected with a few that i didn't know well and that was freaky. I wish we had someway to match souls. Read 2150 A.D. for more info on the souls.

yes... you can be taught and you can perfect you skill.. you are promising in talent it takes control to do this..I'm a powerful dreamwalking and i happened on this skill when I was at the age of seven.

I used to do it with my neighbour/roommate a lot. He and I has tiny little apartments in the basement of a local business. We hung out a lot and partied together all the time. Anyway, when we got to talking about dreams (as we were both having bizarre ones) it became evident that we were sharing parts of some of our dreams.

well i think i did when i was younger but not for sure i know my friends in elementary said i came and talked to them in there sleep but i remeber the same thing lol does that count for the inda of thing ur talking about?
