An Arizona woman is under arrest for allegedly tying up her lover on Valentine’s Day in order to drink his blood.

Tempe, Arizona police say 23-year-old Tiffany Sutton allegedly tricked her 43-year-old victim with an offer of “kinky sex.” But after tying him up, police say she pulled a knife, cut the man’s leg, told him she “Likes to drink blood” and then drank a little bit of his blood.

She then chased him with a pick ax, but he escaped.

Who said romance is dead?


Why do people get all fanatic about being a vampire, like this girl, I never could understand it, is it insanity? I would love to hear anyones feelings on this issue.

That was kind of funny. But if the police were called or he screamed alot, then he probably didnt consent. Which causes a whole lot of trouble. I dont think it was against drinking blood but that the guy made it seem a whole lot worse. And then chasing him around with an axe. Thats kind of messed up.

it would seem that some people take it to the extreme, as for this poor fellow, id say that it time to find someone new, and fast, while he still has some blood in him.

I think she got confused about vampire feeding and actions. Thats more like psycho killer!

My guess is she's a few bricks shy of a load and fancied herself a vampire either for a real need or just imagined, who knows. To trick someone, tie them up and use a knife on them is just nuts then to compound it by chasing them with a pickax is attempted murder. No one is going to use a pickax to obtain blood, it's just to kill. I doubt she was feeling any true need to feed just wanting to hurt or kill someone and used "vampire" as an excuse for the crime.

This woman seems seriously out of her mind. Unfortunately, she gives the rest of us a bad name. The public will be thinking of that case every time they hear the word vampyre. That woman is not a vampire but a psycho. Like nightgame said, no one uses a pick ax unless they are intending to kill someone.

Some people just like the taste. When I hear kinky i do imagine blood but not a knife and pick axe. These people may indeed be insane. They may also be a vampire but missunderstand it. They may also just be wanna be's.

i actually think that she was severely mentaly unbalanced, and wanted to be "cool" like the vampires in television and movies. so her deranged mind told her to trick the poor guy, and then when he had a fit, she tried to get rid of him. shes psychotic.

I think it's possible that she was both A) Insane
AND B) a vampire. Modern Sanguinary Vampires are human so it's not as if they'd be immune to mental illness or social disorders. Why is it that whenever a 'vampire' is arrested for acting out, the vampire community immediately disowns them as crazy and definitely NOT a vampire? Perhaps she wasn't affiliated with any major vampire organization but she obviously thought drinking blood was worth considerable expense.

I gotta go with Nightgame. She probably suffered from a mental illness. She may have gone off her meds. What she did was totally wrong. You can't just tie someone up, unless it's for another reason. ;)

felixfelix, you have a good point about the vampyre community. Well, I can only speak for myself but I retract my earlier post. It's possible for her to be an insane vampire.

There is a lesson to be learned here...
No matter how much you care for a person, or how well you think you know them, allowing them to tie you up with a pickaxe in the roomcan never be a good idea. Better him than I !!!

It sounds to me like she fancied herself a vamp, and didn't tell the b/f. When she went all vampy w/out permission, he freaked and she went nutso. I think that maybe her reaction (the chasing around w/ the pickaxe) came from the rejection he showed by not wanting to be a donor. I agree that she was probably already crazy, but I don't think that helped.

I have been in a place where I just thought that I would die without blood. However, i would never do that. How did she think that the b/f wouldn't report her the next day? It's also kind of obvious that it was premeditated. Who keeps pick axes around their place? How did she know that she was going to need it if she lost control?

Wanting to drink blood does not make her a vampire. This is a misconception. There are many that have obsessions and fetishes. Liking it and NEEDING it are two things and most vampyres can feed more than one way. Besides only 30 percent of the population can drink much of it at a time without puking. Blood is an emetic. Some seem to get a tolerance but they are not drinking more than an oz. or less at a time.

They would have to have a few screws loose to do anything like this and the mainstream teaches safe practices and any educated member of the community wouldn't just take a knife and cut somebody. She clearly didn't know what she was doing and quite possibly was schizophrenic thinking she was a vampire...they are out there you know. This is what makes it complicated for the rest of us that you would never know were Vampyrics...sighs.
