I find there are many kinds of (real im talking actual blood) blood. Some blood is sweet, I don't know why. Most blood is actually. And then some is errm... Not so sweet. I enjoy sweet blood from friends whom's blood i can trust won't.... taint... me.

Do you like blood? What kinds? Do you ever drink? This is not a quick yes or no. Elaborate on your answer.

Really.... Im surprised no one has an opinion on this subject? perhaps im a freak sorry people ;) if anyone has any thought please feel free to let it be known.

i like sweet blood as well, my orks is tasty the few times i can get at it lol, and the depending on how fresh and warm it is i think helps with the taste

Agreed. Warmth is something important.... After you leave it out a bit and it starts to coagulate i dont see the point in drinking after that... Its like chewing a bloddy callaus

EXACTLY! Thats what I mean... But I only share with people special to me... Im not a donor. And I dont accept donors. To many damn deseases out there nowadays...

sweet blood, i don't cut myself nor drink blood of other people, but whenever i cut myself (by mistake) i like to taste my own blood and as i said it taste sweet.

I have not noticed the sweet taste really.Sometimes salty, sometimes metalic in taste...mostly the later.

Then the blood you drink is tainted and not worthy of your lips. Fine someone pure. Like I have.

i don't do a whole lot of tasting of others, i haven't found many people who are trustworthy enough or that want to share.
i have tasted myself a bit though :)
as far as i can tell from my little experience though, i like cppery tasting blood with a hint of sweetness...

It's a fine subject to post on in a site such as this, but I think the slow responses have to do with the idea that this gets talked about ALOT here, and people may just be giving it a rest.

I have a very strict screening process for my donors and one of the main things is that I've known them for a long time, so I've never run into anything but sweet blood, however for that reason I would have to say that it is my favorite.

i haven't had blood that wasn't sweet. though, I do have to be honest that I haven't had many. I have drunk from myself since I was 3 and have drunken from one other person. blood is intoxicating to me. Maybe I just haven't drunk the blood of someone who wasn't worthy yet.

Yea it's the copper likeness that adds the addiction thats my idea of *sweet* so I dont know. I dont think you should share with someone you dont care about. I just cant stand tainted blood. And I dont drink from male vampires. I think of it as pseudo-homo vampirism

I do not drink blood. I don't think that it is worth taking the chance of being exposed to some kind of illness. I will lap up my own when spilled, as I know I have nothing to worry about. The taste is light and sweet!

Warm and right from the body is best... I do not mind what taste it has personally weather sweet or a more metal flavor... Its all yummy to me :-)

i agree i like sweet and warm but there is sour blood and sometimes i have a taste for that as well but hell if your having a bloodlust blood is blood right?

I like the taste of blood it just that because of todays world i find it hard to trust someones else's blood from tainting me

I have only tasted my own blood and one other person's. Compared to his blood, mine is a little tart and sour. His is sweet. I like the sweetness but I always lick up my own more and like it more.

The taste of the blood has to do with the person's diet and the amount of iron in the blood. Or at least that is what I think...

i would never drink blood, i have tasted my own and it wasnt very sweet had a metallic copperish taste to it. not sure if i would ever drink blood from someone else i think its just nasty

I am not into the whole blood drinking side of things. I totally get into the energy that we get off of each other but not the blood thing though I can see the draw for others

It is really hard for me to say. I've never actually drank blood before. Tasted it of course, from my own wounds and from a former lover's wounds. Every now and then I do get a craving for blood, and I tend to like the sweet kind.

I like to lick blood from my own wounds every now and then, but that is about it.

I really only tasted my own and I find it very metallic as well. Although I know from medical testing and all that that my blood has ALOT of iron in it.

I didnt realize iron had a sweet taste to it. I couldnt ever imagine using that adjective to describe the taste of a rare steak.

I used to drink Blood 9 months ago.
Drank all kinds.Cow,chicken,pig,human even my own.Even vampiers blood.Cow is ok..I guess.Chicken is to thin.Pig tastes fatty.
Human is salty and sometimes sweet and iron filled..like licking on metal.Now,vampiers blood..Wow..That is thick darkish deep redish black..sweet powerfull,strong wild stuff.Heehee..I do admit I miss it.But,I can NOT ever do it again.I'ts personal.

this sounds weird but anemics blood (iron defiency) tastes really good because the blood is carrying less iron making it sweeter and less tangy... yum

It's good that everyone has shared their opinions and thoughts on the subject. I really think as a community we've influenced our opinions well.

Here are my guidelines for drinking blood:
1) Your own blood is fine, wont catch anything from yourself, just dont cut yourself over it *emo alert*

2) Anything from a lover or really close friend is usually fine, but I would make sure mine is a virgin and doesnt have heretical deseases.

3) If you DO use a donor (just dont) try your best to find a virgin and have them checked for deseases.

I hope this info is useful. If you dont drink... well.... you didnt find this usefull...

Aaaaaand how many virgins are left on this planet now-days?Lol..so funny.I know what your trying to say.BUT,even virgin can have somthing hiddin in there blood.Always..I mean always check at the doctor before feeding on another.

i love the taste of swwet. and i cna see that most everyone else does as well. i only love to taste the blood of the one i love. above all, i have to agree that a donor is not wise. you never really know what they do when out of your sight. i do believe that iron amount in the blood has some affect on the taste. i have heard that the blood of a vegetarian tastes horrible, while the blood of a meat eater is delicious.

I prefer sweet blood, the sour, bitter tasting blood makes my head spin. It's like drinking liquid nickel. Lol. I used to drink, I don't anymore though beings I don't have a donor.

well, i would have to say sweet. i've only had my boyfriend's blood and it is quite yummy and sweet. but, mine is not so sweet. it's still yummy but i prefer my boyfriend's

Well theres certainly nothing wrong with prefering a sweeter blend. Most people have more of a physical response in lightening up from something sweet. Such as the differance in energy you get between a gummy worm, and a sour patch. LoL terrible example ;)

Well I have drunk blood from many a donor in my life seeing as how it's my main source of sustinence. I am though indiffernt on the taste some blood is better than others, but mainly I don't notice, I just love the rush that follows.

I find blood to be too metallic tasting for me. I prefer to look at it than drink it.

My hubby and I both have type O pos blood and that is my fave. It's not sweet but more copery tasting.

That brings up an interesting question actually.... Does the blood TYPE affect TASTE.... Hmm. I think im O+ to and i notice mine is pretty sweet tasting as well... I dont know... Anyone have any more info on this? If i get a chance ill look into it today too

i don't drink blood at all...but that could be because i've never tried it. the only blodd i've ever had was my own when i got cut or something and it had a kind of copper/irony taste to it

Well. Not drinking blood of other people is a good idea. But I would like everyone to do me a favor if you could??? tell me what blood type you are (if you know) and what it tastes like. And your normal iron intake (if you know)

im a rare blood type, dont remember what i am though. but the taste of blood is all in what they eat, if you eat alot of fat and un healthy then its going to taste nasty. but if you eat right and all that with a little bit of sweet stuff, oh god thats the best kind of blood. all the donors ive had have been on a diet, dont want nasty blood XP

you have a point all blood ranges from sweet to sour. All carrying its own type of taint. But i like blood that i recieve from my donor when he thinks about sex. it's like a bitter sweet chacolate thats really good.

Hey very interesting observation Beautiful! I never thought of that. I always seem to have a low iron count(when you donate blood your iron level has to be at 33) so my blood must be pretty sweet. Hmm, no wonder ppl here love to bite me so much *wink*

as well said blood reflects the whole person. i love drinking blood from the neck or leg f a person before and during s...... inter........ but besides that when biting someone i love to have that sweet teast of blood i also like it in food in fact i eat a lot or raw meat.

but a differance i have found is that when people are upset they have a very salty blood. but whey they are happen or just a small amounts of pain they have a sweet bloods. and that is thanks to a large number of endorfines present in blood during that process.

I LOVE BLOOD! I'll take practically any. Though nice, sweet, warm blood is the best to me. My long ago donor had the perfect blood to give me. He was a special person, very phsycic, very powerful in mind. Every time I would drink from him I would be in an intirely different universe and dimension. The worlds would collide at my feet as I lay with my moon and drink in the darkness of the night.

mmm...all this reading is making me thirsty for blood myself. i prefer warm and sweet blood (not tainted of course) but its so hard for me to find fresh, untainted blood. i cant trust my friends, they might be tainted. but there is one who is so dear to me, but i'm afraid of harming him, if i take to much.

well i havnt really found a preferance i drink what i can get when i can get it as long as it's from a well trusted clean friend

I love the taste of my own blood at times it is sweet at times more metalic in flavor and salty..do not think I could ever drink from another but if so it would have to be of someone I truly knew and had been tested and whom I had a close relationship with as well..

Its apperently a supported theory that todays society (mostly) cant be trusted as far as they could be throw ;)

Well, the only blood I have had is from my husband's neck. It is sweet and I was unaware that there were bloods not-so-sweet. But I guess we are what we eat, so that would make sense.

Fake blood on the tv is one thing. Even real blood on the tv is one thing. But there's just something about actually being around any in person *shudders*

i know exactly what your talking about. i think it might depend on there environment (donors i mean) such as do they spend a lot of time indoors or outside tanning. do this chill easily and there body fat percentage. i noticed what you were talking about the other day when i drank from my best friend her blood was thick and unappealing kind of like rust, it was strange because of donors i had taken from before it was delicious. I'm starting to think that it has something to do with the environment conditions the person is in but I've yet to test this theory. but i can't wait to soon *licks lips* feel free to send me a personal message (anyone) i'd like to discuss this in depth further.

No, but, I think if a person dietary methods and along with smoking or drinking comes into play, as long with drugs...

I like to drain sexual energy and snack in-between on emotional energy, I sometimes get carried away and will drink blood … just worried about the diseases out now a days.

I've drank before, i liked it. Don't think i'd do it too often because of the amount of deseases now adays, but i do like the taste. I drink my own quite often, though (does that count?)
