I know about my past lives, I've had a couple. But I keep running into people I've felt before. Its a weird sense and then to have someone come up to you and tell you they knew you and can name the name you once were. Does this happen often? Are the same souls entertwind so much that we keep meeting on the same path at some point in our lifetime?

with the belief of reincarnation and of past lives i believe that they may be more intertwined then we can percieve it would also show if the reincarnations were in fact infinite that we may run into very simular individuals all the time

Although I not encountered what you are seeing, I do know those who have and I'm sure they will respond. My suggestion is to listen to many different explanations and see what applies best to you.

I hope to gain alot of information from this to be honest. Seems like at the least 3-4 of my friends I've known previously, them approaching me some times and then me just knowing them before they even talk to me. It is weird to be honest, but something I've grown very used to.

It is my understanding that many people share the belief that certain "souls" are destined to meet over and over again throughout time.

It's certainly an interesting theory. One best put into fiction in "the Troy Game" series by Sara Douglass...I'd suggest reading it if you're into Sci-Fi/mythological stuff. She does a broad range.

Yes, I have had this happen to me many times as well. I don't know why it happens, but it could be that we're so close to some in past lives that we just become drawn to the same people because they feel familiar to us. It could be that it's often a lot easier to associate with those we already know and trust from past lives than to try and interact with strangers.

Anyone you forge connections with in one life will carry on to the next. Hense the word soul mates. Souls that have a kinship bond.

It can be a mother, a father, a brother or a friend....or even a lover.

Someone who you had a relationship with in the past, that relationship will carry on.

For instance your sister in this life might have been your best friend in the last.

A friend in this life who is protective of you might have been your parent in another life.

I am a firm believer in Reincarnation and past lives. The man that I have been around and in love with for the last two years has had a reoccuring role in the lover department starting way back in Egypt, with the pharohs. Its trippy. YEt, I find that a reason why they might reappear in our lives is there is a karmic balence that needs to be sorted out. Once that happens, either good or bad, then the ties are broken or forged more firmly together. But this is just my opinion.

Yep, have had it happen to me, tho mostly in my awakening teen years, and it was freaky cool. They also had a 'one-up' by being able to recite all the events of a particular life without having had my telling of it. I've also had people, absolute strangers at that moment, say my current name, and give details about my whereabouts, ie where I live, etc. and tell me messages from current friends, and then later on I'd find out more or get to know the persons better to become friends.

I am honestly not sure if i believe in the possiblity of past lives or not, it really is something that might never be truly explained.

I 100% beleive it, I've had dreams of places I've never seen, and looked it up and it was a real place and I was able to describe it perfectly, I once had a dream I was in Ireland in 1427 outside of a castle by the ocean, I was involved in a battle, and got cut in half, when I awoke I had no feeling from the waist down.. and found out what castle it was, Coinsidence? perhaps... you decide

I believe in reincarnation, so yeah, I believe in past lives. I have felt a connection to people I've never met, like a very vague familiarness to them. The strength of the feeling varies from person to person, for me. I've also had dreams about places I've never seen before, people I've never seen before, etc., but they were more like memories than dreams.

I think that it all depends on how you look at it...In my past lives, i loved the same person that i am with now, but i never got the chance to actually admit to it until this lifetime. My friends were the same then as well and those that i hated haven't changed. I guess that if you actually take into account that those that you meet in the past will affect your future, anything is absolutilly possible.

I've also met someone who was in love with the same person he had been in love with in many other past lives. The love had carried on through lives.

Ive had that quite a few times. With friends and that such. I can just meet them and feel like Ive known them forever. Same goes with my husband. We fell in love fast. There is no way that we could of JUST met. We had to of been lovers in a past life or atleast had some sort of feeling for each other before.

The most unusual thing that happened to me was when we were traveling on vacation I saw this sign that said, Somerset. I had to take the Exit. I had never been there before, but I new my way around the town. So I think that it was either a place I live or visited in a past life.

In my personal life I have found that the people that I knew in my past life I know in this life.
For example, I was a soilder in Vietnam and during a battle I landed on a mine and I blew off my legs and arms, I went almost compleatly def, and I lost my voice. There was a nurse that took care of me and stayed with me till I died. About 10 years ago I meet my friend Amy and found out that she was the nurse that took care of me.
That is just one of the storys of past.

i no i have since i was a small child could rember me bing killed in a black mass in a home in france i no the room how to find it in the win cellar, i no the people and i ran in to the main one when i was 18 and it was like he new me and hated me yet he did not no me ,

Past Lives and reincarnation are real. If you believe that what you reap is waht you sow, in other words, if you believe in Karma or Karmic debt, then you would see how reincarnation fits in. For instance the baby that dies soon after birth. It didn't create that Karma in that lifetime...it was in another life where it accumulated the Karma that caused it an early demise in that future existence.

and in this life.. there are two other souls that i was involved with in that past life... my son now .. was my son then ... one of my best friends NOW.. (he is male in this life also) .. was the father of that son ..

AND NOW.. in this life..though i have NEVER SLEPT with the best friend... my son now... has his eyes.. and his smile...i mean UNCANNINGLY exacly the same smile lol

I myself, do not see a point in knowing my past unless there is a lesson to learn from it. Dwelling on these things serves no purpose, knowing who, and what I have been changes nothing that would be relevant to now.

I believe there are those few souls that yes are destined to meet us through out our lives.... I don't think all of them do but the ones who have the biggest impact on you I think will follow...

I believe that ther are soul friends and mates that i lived past lives with in my life right now... even my soul pet! I also have 2 girlfriends that believe we were all 3 sisters in a preivious life.

I have always believed that Karma is a contract and you make contracts with other souls to come to you in specific times in your life to help you understand, learn and grow. Many times this contract is ongoing and you do continually meet people that you once new in a past life.

it is possible to meet more then one person from our different past lives that we have a special connection with

I do belive that i had a past life. I see people I know I should know, and I have been to places that I know I have been before , but just cant remember

I definatly believe in past lives. I know about a few of mine and usually with a slight bit of prompting i can see into other's past lives (more clearly than just what they remember) Because this talant is so early in the developing it helps if the other person knows even just a drop of a past life. Sometimes it's just random and I see a lot from some stranger.

I've met past life sisters, random people who are uncanningly familair but i know i've never seen anyone who looks anything like them in this life time. And my currently lover/relationship was my lover in my last past life about 600 or 700 years ago.

Sometimes It's great to know past lives... but if you're like one of my friends, their primary rememberences were of how they died, and poor soul died in many grotesque and painful ways such as buring at that stake repeatedly.

Karma-Pastlive-intuition... the same thing. Those are things that either emit energy in large amounts or people that have been involved with you in a significant manner.

iv opened this thread before. but souls travile in groups not in the same kind of order but people you have met in different lives can all be around you in this life or your next.

its hard to imagine past lives ... some have been hypmotized to find out, yet still i find myself skeptical. all the hypmotist has to do is ask the right questions to make the client go off on a tangent, lying.

I sense I've lived before, but when I try to dig it becomes muddled, a few random images or thoughts will flit through my head. Once I did see my mother(this life) in one of her past lives, I think maybe her only one, while in a trance. She looked different of course, but I knew it was her. She was alive during the french revolution and executed by Lady Guillotine. After I realized this I questioned her and she said guillotines give her the creeps and she can't watch any scene in a movie where someone's head is going to fly off.

Spirituality would open all doors of possibility. If you believe in any kind of afterlife, then past lives seems to be an easy step to take.

I do question the fact that most people's past lives are either famous, romantic or exciting in ways that pale their current ones.

I suppose it's the sense of de ja vu. When one walks a certain place or passes a certain person. I believe in past lives....as for finding out about them...I have no idea.

I myself beleive in reincarnation. I always think of that seen in the movie Patton when he goes to the ruins in Noth Africa and tells the men with him that he was there for the battle.

i think that if certain individuals have a strong enough connection, then it is very possible for people to keep meeting up.

There must be past lives. Because, if I'm not making up for "karmic debt", then the universe is just really out to get me.

I believe in past lives because I know that I have had at least 13 of them. I also believe that we run into some that we may have known in them because if not then why is it the de ja vu kicks in.

i belive in reincarnation till you work of yuor karma from this life. so you always have past lives. and future lives and present lives. live for today.

It doesn't happen often, but once in a while, your paths will cross with someone you knew. I think most of us will look at someone and swear we have met them.

I've had about fifteen strangers come up and call me Victoria. I wonder if that's who I was in a past life. Anyway I usually get "de ja vu" feeling, but instead of situations it's people. On any given day I walk down the street and see somebody that I could swear I've seen before. You have a very interesting question!

I am acutely aware of a number of past lives that I have had....partly due to my magickal influences, mostly due to the fact that I was put into hypnotic regression when i was young as part of my therapy.

The first session was not recorded but the notes that were made stated that i was able to give great detail on 2 past lives. Further exploration over about 5 or 6 sessions that were recorded on camera and tape revealed a further 4 lives (which by the end of it totalled 6).......

Since then i have had people comeing up to me and calling me names i recognise from my hypnoterapy experiences and have also had some rather vivid visions. I have also come to know more about my past lives (which now total 13 and still counting) through vision quests, self hypnosis and other magickal ways.

I have never had anyone come up to me and state that they knew me in a past life. But I always thought you would constantly come across people whom you knew in a previous life. Not necessarily that you remember them(actually their previous life) but it is how "it is supposed to be"

You know, whenever I have had this feeling, it is LIKE De Ja vous ..

If it is with a person I instantly feel an affinity with them and a really deep connection.
What I love about it tho is that is is more often than not, a dual feeling.. so it COULD be possible that we knew each other in another life..
I have yet to delve in ot the realms of this deep philosophy of past life re-collection to be able to suport these thoughts.. however, I do nourish the current thought that I enjoy meeting people and when i get this 'connection' we often become friends, and I GO WITH the feeling.. since it feels good.

I've never really thought about reincarnation before or believed that I have had any sort of past lives but you know it really would make sense. There was this guy that went to college with me my first year, I've never seen him or met him before but I somehow knew him. I could tell that he was somehow having the same sort of recognizion towards me because we would always sort of watch eachother with the whole "I know you but don't know how I know you" look on our faces. It was weird.

Well to be honest, I'm not sure I would want to know all about my past lives. One of them just gives me a feeling of, you don't want to know. Just something deep in the pit of my heart that just constricts it when I think about the little knowledge I know about it. And the others I've never tried to get in touch with because of that one, I mean if something from the past can cause me physical harm now just thinking about it, Imagine what it would be capable of doing through research and a PLR.

Well to be honest, I am unsure if I really believe in reincarnation. I was brought up as a catholic and the church teaches against it.

Yet, from my experiences....I would say that I don't know of any of that happening to me. I have had the feeling that I have met someone before, and I haven't type thing. But, as to be able to think of past lifes or anything like that. No.

I don't remember anything from past life type stuff...I've had dreams that could very well link me to having past lifes, but still I don't remember enough to really make it concrete.

So, all I can say is that is interesting that you can remember, and other souls can remember you too. I do however believe in soul mates, possibly that there is more than one form. You know people that are to be your friends, or help guide you....but that is just me.

Minx, I can see that you also have had happen to you what happens to me quit a bit. Its funny how I end up finding I know someone yet its not always from where I think.

FelixFelix, you bring up a very good point- I have often wondered why past lives seemed to be packed with tragedy and romance.

I do not personally believe in the concept of past lives, but I do believe in the power of identification with history, and different ways of the mind inerpreting our existences. I also think we shoudl cherish the complex relationships what we share with oters, even on the first moment we meet- but I do not personally see any of this being due to a past existence that I had.

Well, try regression therapy- thats how most people seem to "discover" this information.

My madre tried that regression therapy and it worked well for her she was in the old west times as a settler nothing exciting but still sweet.

reincarnation is a very wide spread belief. I have met people I swore I knew before, but I knew them by a different name. I can remember memories, that I haven't experience. It is possible, and can happen, but sometimes, it is rare.

I have had this happen to me before and I think we are meant to meet up with each other in each life we live, sort of like a touch stone so you don't feel to lonely and know there are others with you that have been with you before.

I firmly believe in past lives and I DO believe that we are somehow connected to people that have meant something to us in our pasts. I have "dreamt" of places I have never been before...they were clear as day and felt just like I was there....they had no DREAM feel to them at all but more like memories....I have found on a couple occasions...people that seem far more familiar than could be possible in this life....most I have never met before and yet it seems like I have known them my whole life....

I believe on the supernatural. I am sure we are not the only begins existing on this planetary plain. But one thing I do believe is in past lives. I believe that this is a form of starting over and correct the wrongs done in a previous life. Or perhaps a second chance to live the life you were not able to live prior to your death.

I think the reason why there are so many tragedies and romances in past lives is because of the fact that its something so deep like that tha penetrates through the mist that covers our minds from the past lives. Its things like that that keep us going either for revenge or for love.

Yes, I have this happen quite a bit. I have suffered from Karma in this mannor many many times. People will dislike me from the moment they see me other are like best friends that I have never meet before.

I have been haughted by dreams of my former lives since I was a child of 4 or five and told my grandmother very detailed sceens that no child of that age would have known from history.

I'm just glad that I'm not the only one the experienced these to be honest. Sometimes its hard to really believe in yourself when things like this happen. And you can't go to people with it because alot will just think you insane. Sometimes I wonder if its worth knowing all I know...

i do believe in reincarnation and it sometimes happens that i walk past old things or people and i find them so incredibley familiar that it scares me. it's some weird sort of deja vu. And deja vus are experienced by most people. come to think of it, they may be short portals to previous lifes although we are born without the knowlege of them something allways seems to remind us that this is just another life, another game we entered and have to finish.

I do believe that you can be so connected with someone that you meet continually in each of your lives. I have yet to find someone who could tell me who I was in a past life, nor have I succeeded in finding out on my own.

i think we can meet the same people, but i do have a question now have you heared of this saying, well everyone has a twin. like if your out somewhere and you see someone that u think is him/her then u say something to them and its not them, they only looked like some one you know.. do you thik that means something for i have seen many people who look like someone i know and people has stopped me and when i said i dont know u they said wow you look justy like )^&_*(! has this happen to anyone else, and if so does it mean anything

I know that I lived a lot of past lives. My friends Corey, Matt and I joke that we've lived a lot of them together.

Its happened time to time to me but its more with places then people I could drive threw a certain part of a state and have a total recall of the whole place.

Yes we do . And there are many times I've felt that I've been a women in a past life .

I barely can deal with this life as supposed to wondering about who or what i was in the past.

I often have dreams of people i've never met & know them, but i'm not me!! Its me but in another body & when i try & see the face its blacked out! I have never felt as if I have know someone in a past life, but I do think that it is possible to have know someone in a past life and then be able to sense that person in this life.
