im not sure if this has been done before, but i was just reading about some alien abductions and wondered what you all think of them..do you believe that they ever really happened?.. the specific one i was reading about was the Betty and Barney Hill abductions..They remembered their abduction by being hypnotized..then told their story from there..ive always thought there was some other life out there but if its really true then why dont we have real proof... why havent they made themselves known to everyone, not just a select few?

Has anyone heard of the movie 'Fire in the Sky'? It's about someone who believes his abduction and his experiences during it. It's a good movie.

I believe one could be abducted, if one happened across an alien......I myself have seen unique things in the night sky..

I have seen the movie Fire in the Sky. I honestly think that there are UFOs out there. Watch the skys when we have meteor showers. The meteors go one way and the UFOs go another.

I definitely think there is someone else out there in our universe. I also believe in abductions although I don't believe in all of the stories I have heard. I think the Government has a lot to do with keeping information from us. If you go to this site it has a lot of articles about human and military abductions, the hybrid program and implants.

I would like to believe, have heard some stories from my friend. but i have never seen, so i am up in the air about it all. but I would never put anyone down for their beliefs.

I don't believe in "alien abductions"...I believe there's people in other universes and whatnot, "aliens" if you wish to call them...But I think they're just like us..Just people.
I don't think they'd abduct anybody, they're probably just as clueless about us as we are about them.

i myself believe in UFO's, but i was reading in an article one time that some scientist believe UFO's come from the center of the earth and not space, so i don't know which one to believe

i have seen the movie fire in the sky it is excellent and for believing in aliens coming and snatching first you have to ask yourself do you believe in aliens? me why would i not believe the concept that we are the only ones in this existence there are hundreds of unknown planets out there there has to be something on at least one if not more
second have they come here well that is debatable i have never myself seen them so i do not know it is possible i have never seen a shark either but it is here
third have they abducted people well if they have been here i am sure they have cause you know if we landed on a planet with life we would be the aliens then and we would capture something

I was on a web site,one that was being serious about the entire alien thing.They
said that aliens actually are vampires.
Vamps and can hypnotize people into seeing things,and the lights they see are the energy taken from them..and stuff

I think there have been way too many reports of UFOs and aliens for them to be some kind of hoax. The universe is huge and it would be insane to believe we were the only intelligent life that exists in it.

But there has been reports of aliens since ancient times. How could one group of people drag the hoax on for so many years with the details being passed on as well?

I like to think we're not the only beings in the universe, but.....the more I think about it, the more unlikely aliens existing becomes. Not many fully realize it, but it took a LOT of little details in order for this planet to support life. The sun had to hit it at EXACTLY this angle, we had to be EXACTLY this far away from a heat source, the atmosphere had to contain EXACTLY this much of this element, etc. It's really hard to imagine another planet matching all those hundreds of details as well, you know what I mean?

I do believe there are life forms out there, I really do find it hard to believe we are the only intelligent life forms. But as for this whole abductions thing, I think more of it is people craving attention in the best way they know how & that is something we can niether prove nor disprove. Not to say it doesn't happen but if whoever or whatever is out there and they are doing this to us do you really think they would let you remember it or even let you live to remember it? come on lets think about this for a minute. lol

I have never believed abductions to be real, but aliens, yes. I think there is just too much space for us to be alone in it.

I was taken aboard an alien ship when I was very young. I'm not using the word 'abduct' because I didn't resist and was allowed to be fully awake and remember everything. I wasn't afraid. That was most likely the main reason. They told me that they needed samples of human DNA for medical research to cure a fatal illness on their world very similar to an illness we became amune to hundreds of years ago. They drew some fluids from me with a double-pronged syringe leaving a scar that never healed. It looks like 2 small brown spots on my forearm.

I believe that there is something out there but as to what that something is I can't be sure. It is hard to believe we are alone in this great big universe.

There are other forms of life in the universe. The US govt has proof of this they just dont want us to know because they do not want to cause panic

I had a vivid dream not too long ago about a small alien in my room. That could have just been a dream but it's just creepy. I believe that it could be a possibility... It's kind of silly to think we're the only ones...

This is kind of a touchy subject, but I do believe there is other life out in the universe, afterall, Earth can't be the only planet in the universe that holds any lifeforms. To think otherwise would prove that you have a very closed mind.

I've seen a lot of weird things in the sky in my 10 years of living in the Nevada desert.

As far as abduction goes, I think it's very possible, but there is just so few evidence of this.

Besides the movie Fire In The Sky, I also recommend watching Night Skies. It's a fairly newer movie that has to do with a group of friends traveling to Vegas from Arizona and wind up getting abducted.

I agree with a lot of people here. Thinking we are the only life form in the entire universe is just plain madness. Ck out the NASA vid i have at the bottom of my pro if you want an idea how big the cosmos is.....................

I don’t believe that there have been abductions in our lifetime. I think that some people make up stories for attention. I think that others might even believe their own stories. I might be wrong but I just can’t believe that this could be happening without someone knowing about it.

I have read of the Hill's story and saw the movie Fire in the Sky and I do believe in life elsewhere in the universe. I think that 99.9% of the abduction stories are just that stories but there is enough doubt for me to believe it possible.

The Hill's case alone has been maintained for so long that it lends credence to their story. It's very hard to maintain a lie this long by two people, I believe.

I think they could indeed.I know personally,I have seen some pretty strange stuff I couldnt explain.
And btw,we lived in Greer AZ.At the same time that was supposed to have happened to Travis down in Showlow.For days,my whole family saw stuff,although at the time,we had no clue as to what was happening there in Showlow.Which we found out later correlated with the exact time of Travis's abduction.
I have spoken to him a couple of times several years ago, on the phone and thru email.He wholeheartedly believes it happened.And from what we had seen those evenings when it was supposed to have,I I believe him.Regardless,something did happen..none of us could deny what we saw.

I believe in the possibility that there is or once was some sort of life form out there, be it bacteria, a plant of some kind, etc. However, as for intelligent life, I’ll believe it when they choose reveal themselves.

It's possible for someone to be abducted. Aliens may have made their appearance known and it could have been covered up. Or if they are studying the human race by abducting people, then they wouldn't want their presence known to prevent contamination by their presence.

I think its very possible that they exist. Why not? It would be very conseded of us to think we were in the universe alone.

I believe in aliens. An that they are here hiding from us in cloaked areas or in human form. I know that might sound sci-fi but, that is what I feel from that. An the fact that when, I was a very young boy I seen and hear one in my bedroom. It was small fgiure greyish color and the noises it made I can`t imagine what it was saying.

Look at the pyramids , stone hendge . They could have been here. In the whole universe it would seem silly for us to be the only ones

2.There is NO such thing as aliens or U.F.O.s (Unidentified Flying Objects)...the term is used too loosely now.
3.This is a big universe with many mysteries still out there to find.
4.I doubt very much,if there were "aliens"..they wouldn't waste time or energy to "abduct" humans or animals on the planet.

That there may be intellegent life in the universe, yes, I believe it is probable. But that beings from another planet would come here and perform medical evaluations on us earth folks, no, I think it does not happen. At least not in the way it is percieved by those who have been abducted. There is an explanation, but it is not extra terestial.

I would have to agree with you also DamaniA. I believe their are other life forms out there, but if they are advanced enough to visit us, what would make us so interesting to them that they would wish to medically evaluate us? They may possibly just be curious about us as another life form for curiosities sake though as are we.

I study Astronomy, and I read about Betty and Barney abduction and they drew a star map. The map they drew was a match to the far southern constellation called Retaculim constellation. There are two sequence stars called Zeta 1 and Zeta 2, that is similar to our star the sun.
There is supposed to be a earth like planet called Zeta Retaculi, which is the home planet to Grey speicies of alien, about 38 light years away. It is called the Zeta Retaculi incident, it was on the star map, that Betty and Barney Hill had drawn. I don't really know if there is life out there, but there is about 88 constellations in our Milkyway and about over hundred billion stars, that's just in our Galaxy.

If any of you get the chance go to the ufo museum in Roswell NM it will make a believer out of you. A lot of the technology we have today came from reverse engineering of the wreckage from "the Roswell incident"

Madvamp, I believe that as well... The government wouldn't want to cause a panic. I have heard stories where they would cover up a crash landing. They even wrote a final book concluding that one crash landing was only a weather balloon experiment gone wrong. Then why is it that the people working for them said they saw small bodies? Their excuse was that it was a test dummy... It's just questionable that they get on the defensive side. There are many things that we don't know about... but it's not only about not causing panic, it's about their own military improvement. They take the space craft and learn from it and do tests. I'm not saying this is true but I have heard so many conspiracy theories it's not even funny... Sorry if this is not allowed...

Also, aliens and abductions weren't just stories from now-a-days. The stories have been written down in history, going back to ancient times. Many different cultures and countries made it known that there may be something out there... The country of Mexico believes in aliens. That is a fact, because they have had too many sightings to even deny that they exist. They just let the US cover it up.

All of this could very well be made up or not true, I'm open to that possibility... Maybe they made it up for marketing? I have no idea....

I've been to the museum in Roswell NM a few times they have info there on other ufo sitings as well dating back to the Mayans including a replica of a door to a burial vault that shows someone flying into space in what appears to be a rocket ship.

I can't help but think that if you believe that life only exists on this planet which is a mere solar system in a massive galaxy... then add the other galaxies with multiple solar systems... well don't need to say much more.

I believe that abductions happen, there are too many people that have made the claim. If it was just one or two... you can be sceptical but millions... different story. I know many would be bogus of course, I am not totally naive, just a little bit :P

I too have seen some strange lights that move in an erratic behaviour, so I can't help but think life exists outside our solar system, will just be a matter of time before we have contact.

to think that in an infinite universe, we are the only planet with life...ridiculous. The reason there is life on earth is because of the specific atmospheric conditions and the amount of heat put off by the sun. Which is just a star. The odds of a planet being exactly like that are 1:1,000,000,000,000,000...give or take a few. In a infinite universe there has to be more planets like ours that support life. Whether or not life is on those planets is still a question. And whether or not they would be able to make contact with us would depend on their ability for intergalactic travel. Which would also depend on their planetary resorces. A question also pops up as to at what point in time did their species pop up. 1,000,000 years before human kind came to be?

and no one can tell you what to believe. There has been way too many storie on extra terrestrials to just say there has never been one on earth. UFOs, Area 51, all of it. So many questions. The only way to really find out is join the military and get a top secret clearence. lol

Well to look at aliens in a scientific aproach. There are billions of stars in the universe and several have planets orbiting around them. Somewhere out there has to be some other form of life. If not thats a giant waste of space. Now to speak of alien abductions. The fastest anything can travel in the universe is the speed of light. So far there hasnt been much evidence showing support for life on the planets in our solar system. if there is another planet in the universe it is too far away from us for them to be able to travel to us. Even if they are going the speed of light. The nearest star to us is quite far away so basically nothing can reach us unless it is in our solar system. So that pretty much means that unless we have missed some kind of evidence of life in our solar system then alien abductions cant happen. That is, unless aliens have figured out how to bend space-time.

I haven't thought about it much, I have just accepted the fact that there are people telling that it has happened to them.
If there are aliens...I think that we are not the only ones in this universe, and not even the smartest ones, I believe.

I pretty much think alien abductions are garbage. I don't say that aliens don't exist for who are we to say that we are the only life forms in the universe...but i think they would have better things to do than come to Earth and abduct people and take them back to their spaceships to do experiments on.

I would also point out that I dont think those "aliens" would be like little green men from mars or something out of the movies Predator and Aliens, either.

I think they would more than likely be just like us, and probably don't know any more about us than we do them. And most likely don't want to know about us.

Let me put it like this.
We are an extremey violent race.
How many wars do we have going on at one time? Killing each other over skin color, religion, science, land, and any other reason we think is necessary.
Why would aliens make theirselves known to us publically? We would probally try to kill them for christ sake.

Too many people would look at them and shoot first. So in that respect we are not ready. Too many people think that earth is the center of the universe and I don't think those people are going to change that view anytime soon.

People around the world will first have to learn how to deal with each other without trying to kill each other before we will be ready for any kind of lifeform to visit us.

Watch the movie, Lifeform. It's a cheesy little movie but shows just how we would respond to aliens.

i think as we are already known of them sence the deal with area 51 i think we all could handle it..

i used to believe in it when i was younger but not so much anymore after doing research and find aircraft that we created after world war 2 like flying discs and what not.. i dunno
