I'm sure many of you have checked out the various Houses and Covens here on VR, if not take a few minutes and do so. I'm interested to know how you felt after reading through them and all of their rules, regulations, expectations and rules.
I have been looking around at the various Houses and Covens determining what options are available to me. Quite honestly, I've been less than impressed. I am amazed at how many of these groups have set up such a ridiculous list of rules and warnings of how they will rigidly be enforced. It is as if one were joining the Girl Scouts. I find this not only humorous but also ironic that children of the night would try and bind their fellow dark souls to such moralistic, pompous and unnecessary restraints. I think VR's rules are quite sufficient, this is not church. What do you think?
If you are a member of or know of a laid back house or coven that only require their members to follow VR's rules and basic requirements such as sporting the groups seal, let me know. I'd like to check the group out. A group with a since of humor is always a plus. Some really need to lighten up.
I fully support the idea of being embraced against ones will. Forcibly inducting membership was very creative on VR's part and adds a since of reality to this community. How do you feel about this? Have you yourself been forced (meaning against your will) into one of the Houses or Covens? How did that work out for the parties involved? Did you rebel?
I found these two to be pretty interesting:
The Coven of Inari (laid back and mature)
The Coven of ShinobiTaka (The bar is pretty funny)
I am the ACM of the Coven of Secrets and the only thing we require is that you participate in the coven forum (it kicks ass!) and be at least 18 cuz we are a rowdy and naughty bunch hehe.........we are deff laid back and I am proud to be in this coven you should check us and our members out =}
I am not updating my status any time soon I've been on VR once before made it to level 26 had to leave to take care of business in the world. I'm waiting to see if the coven I was originally in before will take me back in again after a year, if so then I'll update.
I've had my fair share of being inducted/kicked/transferred into different Coven's for a Ghoul I guess. The Coven that i'm in at the moment... i'm actually pleased with now, no rules.
Wait.. edit to my previous post. There are rules such as "no rudeness" etc but that's just common sense I guess.
There are quite a few Societies that are laid back. ;-] Just need to look.
I chose to join my coven because I had met a great group of accepting and funny individuals that I quickly befriended over time. I really enjoy my coven and their company. The only expectation is to participate in the forum, which makes sense if you choose to join such a discussion group.
Although, I do agree with the notion that joining a group just "to fit in" might not be the best decision, joining a coven or house to socialize and make new friends isn't such a negative thing. It's really up to the individual. If you find a house or coven that you feel connected to in any way, joining will be a fulfilling choice, I'm sure.
I wasn't too thrilled about being forcibly inducted, mainly because I wanted a chance to look at the houses/covens ... I didn't want to get stuck with one that did't fit me.
I actually really like my coven ((The Coven of Darkened Forest)), but there isn't a whole lot of activity in it... lol~~
a am a acm in the coven i am in an i would say if you do not like the rules of the covens or vr in genral then why are you still here
I am a forum master and a message master in the Coven of Secrets! I love being in this Coven the members are great we aren't a stiff bunch meaning we have a lot of fun!
I was curious about induction and figured there would be various vampiric styles, so while I would have preferred something different, what I got was the wam bam variety. It was what it was, a brand-spanking new coven with dozens of new people, most of them pleasant and interesting. We had a lot of teenagers, and therefore many rules.
I looked around at other covens and houses, and was fortunate to land in LBO.
There seems to be an explosion of covens; the choices diverse. Your coven or house should be a place where you enjoy the people and the conversations. Inside, I've found a whole new level of discussion and friendship from the vr day-to-day.
There are a few societies out there that do not come with a long list of what you have to do or what you cannot do.
I'm lucky that I've spent practically all my time in the House of La Bella Oscuridad that does not require X number of posts per week or Y among of favor. This is a recreational website and no one can require that you do something that you do not want to do. Quality members are much more of an asset then high levels or perfect profiles.
Good luck in your search and I hope you can find a comfy place.
I have never been forced. I was either recruited or I asked to be a member every time. Some covens are very active and others not so much.
You can always reach sire and it might make things a little easier. As the manual says, "A Sire can join any House/Coven (with the Master's permission) and leave any House/Coven at any time."
I was inducted into a coven, and because I was not on VR that week, I did'nt even know it. The next time I logged in I had messages telling me I was inducted into the coven, a few "welcome to the coven" messages, and "you have been kicked out of the coven" message. Then another coven inducted me and although I had limited computer access I just stayed in the coven and made the best of it. I am not a very social person, but the admin of the coven have been very nice to me.
There was a time when I refused to update my status. I stayed at level 3 for a good long time. I did this for two reasons. While looking at the Houses/Covens and did not find any that I took an interest in. Also, the people who were stalking me, both VR stalking and just basically stalking in general, I had no desire to make it into their places. They were not to my liking or standards.
I find some just ridiculous.
I do agree with forced inductions, but I would agree more so if more places were of interest to me. I have no desire to make it into a place where the pages have numerous spelling errors and have so many rules it seems more anal retentive than I am.
I don’t find blinding an unnecessary restraint. At times it can be necessary depending on the actions of the one being blinded. The rules are also necessary for a coven. Much like mains rules are necessary for VR as a whole. Some places are dedicated to certain aspects of the site. Some places choose to have like minds within their walls. I do agree that some are a little off the wall, but that is their choice to do so.
I did find a Coven that sparked my interest. For that I am happy. I wanted to experience all aspects of VR. Now I can.
robotech,
I suspect you would like My coven. There are no rules. None. Participate as much or as little as you like. Put the crest on your profile, or don't. We don't censor, We don't edit, We don't blind. The members who are there by choice are quite happy.
We do, however, make a special effort to induct people who gripe about the rules, particularly forced induction. It's always a bit of fun to watch the "holier than thou" types moan and groan about why they should be exempt from rules. In fact, if I had a fire- hot poker...hmmm, good times.
Rules are neccessary to keep order.
I am ACM of the coven of blackened hearts. Like any society we have rules and they will be abided by. If we dont have rules we will have everyone going in different directions. Our rules are simple and we do not ask for much. And we also have alot of fun in the coven forums.
As far as force inductions we hold the right to do them but try not to since most times the member that is force inducted ends up not doing anything
I agree rules are needed to keep order.
When I was first inducted, I wasn't thrilled about it. I was inducted into a House and I didn't know hardly anyone in it, so I was a little uncomfortable. Then I got to meet some of the people and was glad to be there. Then I went on a hiatus for some time and when I came back I was in a Coven, the Coven of Lux Aeterna. I was glad that I knew several of the people in there. I am now an ACM and love it. They are like an extended family.
We don't have a lot of rules, we just ask that you be respectful of fellow coven members and obey the Rules set forth by VR. We have a two week induction period, which is basically a trial period for you to see if you like what we stand for.
There is quite of few homes you can join that are layed back. Both in the houses and covens you can join. Some do induct forcely, and willingly. Most of them willingly. And some either have no x posting or favor requierments. or very little requirements to be ment. Its just looking at them and which one fits you best. And giveing them a try. If its not what you expected, most will work with you to try to place you where you want to go. :)
I am luckly, i as went happily into the coven i am at. And with many houses and covens, there is some great people in all of them.
I have been in Umbrae Octo (former profile) and am currently in the Coven of Demented Mystical Minds. Both were / are wonderful and both are very relaxed societies as long as you are cordial and respect each other.
I'm also in the Coven of Secrets; the "requirements" are minimal -- be active & participate. That's it. We have fun.
it's not like a fraternity or anything.
demb0w, no wonder you are in Purgatory. (No Offence to Purgatory, btw.)
As for this thread. I'd suggest Sacred Moon, not only because it's the coven I am in, nor me being friends with the members. But because it's a family. They take you for who you are, and they dont degrade you for anything. Again, not saying other covens do, just saying in general.
Forced inductions? I agree, but only because then we'd have all these people running around without a Coven or House.
Meska,
I do not see anyone "whining" about being in a House or a Coven. And I beg to differ on your 'honor' statement.
It is not an honor to be inducted into some places; especially if it is a place that you have no desire to be involved in. It may be an honor to be inducted into a Coven that takes the time to actually see if the member will fit in, rather than being inducted into a Coven that hordes numerous member for status and favor gain.
It all depends on the person’s point of view and what they choose to gain from their induction experience.
Personally I enjoy going through them occasionally and taking a read. I find each one unique and different with their own goals as to what they are doing here. All coven/house's should be proud of what they are doing and achieving.
I feel honored to be inducted to my coven.I take pride in trying to represent my coven. I do somewhat agree Rules can be a little rigid. however if you respect your covens guidelines you will play by the rules. I choose to be respectful and show my initiative and represent as best I can for my coven and fellow coven mates as well as our master.
honestly, you need to find the Home that works for you. and that ain't no lie. some are stricter than others....some more laidback.
I guess the answer is to do what I did. Look around first and don't click on
update till the CM of your choice accepts you.
well-said Sinora. hold onto your Marplot status as long as possible to hold off the decision until you are absolutely sure.
I did the same this as Sinora. The CM will work with you and set a time to induct you when you are ready. You should also check out The Coven of La Rose Noir. they are fun and very laid back.
To be honest, I was skeptical at first, then I checked out one coven and found that it sorta suited me. But one of my friends on this site happened to be really close to the mistress of G.O.D. and she talked to her. They helped me a lot and I must say that I am very happy to be in the coven. The only thing I can recall about the rules is to make sure you have enough favors and to keep it PG-13 because there are younger kids in the coven, but that's about it.
I love the coven I'm in. The best thing you can do is read all of them, make friends with some of their members, and ask them how they like it there. You can send a request to most of the Houses and Covens to join. They may or may not accept you. Also go look in the forums. There are all kinds of Covens requesting new members. Check them out. Sure, some of them have rules you may think are stupid, but rules do help make the intentions of the House or Coven clear to everyone. Also, if you are forced into a House or Coven that you do not like, most of them have no problem with helping you to find a more suitable match. Good luck to you.
most of the covens and houses have awsome people in them. If you don't want to join one with many rules then don't look around make a list and do it that way. I understand how some would like to have the rules because you can't just let everybody go buckwild.
i like my coven its laid back has lots of cool people in it.
Last time i was on I was easily accepted into three covens and that was it. I did the forums and games but that was it. Most say they are like a family or a close coven. Whatever. Besides the initial hello i was just another name in the members column. So i requested out and tried others. I think it would be more difficult to get in a house and more to it. But covens are just like cliques.
For what I have read thus far with the opinions of others, regarding Coven memberships, things in their point of view tend to be a bit too dramatic. Whilst there are massive complaints coming from all directions, and almost no positive feedback from many Covens...None I will name.
As for Houses, I have been a member of House Eternal since I had started on the rave back in August of 2007. Images as well as the rest of the admin and members alike have been extremely kind to me on both professional and personal levels alike.
I tend to think that Covens and Houses are a way to build character, confidence at times, responsibility regarding admin positions in said Covens and Houses, as well as a bond between yourself and the affiliated members.
For those of whom say these Covens and Houses are only for those of whom just want to fit in, I could really care less about fitting into any environment. I have several friendships all around VR. So it is not only within the affiliations, but VR as a whole.
In my point of view, the affiliations are a place to hang back, relax, as well as to cut a rug so to speak. Which is rarely done within the VR main forums.
In closing, not to offend any Coven, but if you would choose less drama over all, I would go with House status, to me it just seems as though there are way to many Covens run by adolescence...Prove me wrong on this point.
If you really wish to know opinions, I would start a poll concerning your querry. You may recieve a bit of a high average in terms of numbers. I myself would love to see which affiliation recieves the highest rank...Houses or Covens.
Though sometime in the near future, I do sense a change in the wind regarding the Covens themselves.
I like the one I'm in and have liked all the ones that I have been in. I've made a lot of friends in the ones I've been in :)
Each House and Coven has their own way of doing things and a part of this are their rules. I believe they all have their own reasons for doing so and it is the Coven Masters chose as to what rules they make.
The only way anyone can find a place to go that they like is to read every House and Covens Subpages and decide from there. My only advice is do it before you reach level 5 as then you have no chose and can be forced inducted (as per VR rules).
I dont think asking ppl for advice would help as everybody has a different like and how they see things.
I could pass on heaps of good things about the Coven that I am in then again some bad things but it isnt really my place to knock the Coven I am in and besides I like being in it.
My advice do your own research and make your own mind up...you can always ask to be traded out.
I think the induction process is really the luck of the draw, unless you have personally expressed a keen interest to a house or coven that reciprocates and mirrors that same interest in you.
I was lucky enough to log online and find an unexpected welcome message from LBO and I thank the Gods and my lucky stars that someone spotted enough potential or even a glimmer of hope that I could be an asset to the house. It’s the warmth and mutual respect that is exhibited within LBO, that has maintained my keen interest in VR.
I truly hope your as lucky as me and find somewhere that you feel you belong..….then again I’m Irish and I have always been lucky... :)
I agree, there are alot of rules on this site, but especially in covens. I've had a wee gander. I was blinded form my coven seemingly almost straight after I was inducted in. I've never participated in it, nor in the coven I was in before my account got reset. The reason for my current blinding I think must have been because I was off fruit picking and had no access to the internet.
i have actually read through them. I find some rules drastic and find others completely fine.but i feel if your gonna join thathouse or coven then u read the rules before joining. so in all fairness u know what u are getting yourself into.
I was lucky...I got in what I believe to be one of the better covens...
we are like family...
you should be carful not to update your status till you find a coven or house you like...
someone will forcus induce you...
be careful...
i'm acm of the coven of estoreic truth..and it is an awesome coven and everyone is like family..
I too was a little hesitant, yet the coven i am in. is great we all enjoy our selves so much, i think it is what you put into it.
I was recruited by several covens, then forcefully inducted by one I had not heard from and I'm perfectly happy there.
Many of the covens post all those rules, but may not enforce them strictly.
well the coven of shinobitaka is great i found myself there not to long ago and will never leave . they are totally layed back and the fun never stops. when they say welcome to the family they mean welcom to the family . i dont think you will ever hear a complaint comeing from anyone in this coven.
I think there are too many covens... thats why I didn't make my own, but most are very much alike, with slight differences as requirements... so require a weekly favor, others don't etc.. I have seen it all lol.. the best Coven I was ever in was La petit mort, although it is not alive any longer because Kat left the site... I still miss it lol... and have yet to see a coven that followed the same goals...
bmttom line is that there are some great covens out there...
you just have to find the right one for you...
and dont be put off by some of the rules...
they are normally just used as guide lines...
Mm, Lady Chordewa, I must say your Coven does sound intruiging. I haven't heard of a Coven for teens 'til now.
I have enjoyed the coven I belong too very much, the master is an awsome and fair women. It is expected that we post the crest on our page and that we spend minamal time n the site, gaining favor, she also takes the time to email and tell you when she noticed you are doing a good job for the coven. I agree that soime coven may have odd rules, but as for the one I belong too I have enjoyed it alot and have no complaints.
I must say that it shows you haven't been here very long... outside of your level...
I am a Proud Co-Coven Master of Immortal Sin. I must admit however, I am blown away by what is on the chopping block... I understand that Houses and Covens do have strict rules but they are there to help keep activity up. It gives you something to do when you have to post a certain number of times a week with in your respective location. When the Main forum is a little bland you are able to chit chat with fellow House/Coven members and get to know them... Half the reason why so many are strict is because ACTIVE members are wanted.. People who don't do anything, honestly, are worthless to a House or Coven and only drag them down. When a person comes up to an inductable level that's when that person becomes part of something more then just the site rules. Those are set into place as General guidelines for the Houses and Covens to play off of. That's why 98% of the rules you'll see state the VR rules and regs come before our own. Houses and Covens are competing against eachother also. Another reason why active people are wanted... This isn't always a playground. There is ediquette to learn. I give you props for challanging the Houses and Covens about why we have different rules then the main regulations. In the long run it creates a healthy competitive atmosphere...None of us like the norm reason number 2 why things are so strict... some Covens let everything that breaths in others don't... Honestly before you keep knocking Houses/Covens rules try being in one that does really well and you'll understand what I'm talking about. I hope you come to an understanding and think for yourself when making a choice of which Coven/House to belong to. I take pride in the hard work I have done on VR to get where I am today...
But to each there own. Best wishes...
SA is right, you obviously have not been around the site very long, and if you feel that the rules of every house/coven are rediculous then don't join, it's as simple as that. Reaching sire allows you to create your own, if you do not like any house/coven then get to sire and create your own, I feel that by earning sire you are able to place certain rules for your coven because you have earned that right, and as for house masters they have more then earned their right.
i have to say i have been in 1 house (by another vr name long ago) i wasnt happy there so i was kicked out then i went to 2 different covens until i finally went into my 3rd coven im in right now and I'm happy to say i call it home.
Im just trying to work on maybe one day to become sire and open up my own coven thuogh i know it will be very hard to do so.
Nicely put Soulshroude :) and if I may add Covens are transitory at the whim of Cancer, or the Coven Master... whereas Houses are a permanent feature of Vampire Rave with the House Masters being transitory serving at the pleasure of Cancer.
Soulshroude,
I agree to your point about Coven to an extent. I run O.I.V. I am not an adolescent, even though it would be nice to be able to revert back to my youth. lol
O.I.V. has no drama. We all get along very well. Of course that could be because of how picky I am with people I choose to induct.
At one time said I would never be a part of a Coven. I thought about it more and wanted to branch out and try it. I had an idea and I went with it. I am really glad I did.
I see a few people who have strong opinions against Covens, but they shouldn't be lumped in the same way. If you have had a bad experience in one, that doesn't mean that all are ran that way or the same thing will happen. Each place is as different as each leader.
By prejudging you could be losing out on a valuable experience.
i honestly don't think that a House, having the "title" of House, makes that House "great" in any way over a Coven; whether the 7 Houses here are permanent (or not, pe se) and run by Master Vampires has nothing to do with the Q.O.L. (quality of life) experienced there.
great groups are formed by amazing people with good hearts and intent.
so please, let's stop the "Us Against Them" stuff.
I have two profiles by accident I might add but chose to keep them both when I found out and both of the groups I belong to are great. I am not too swift at figuring all the technical things out but LBO and Demented Minds are both very laid back groups with a lot of very intelligent people. Yes there are rules but there needs to be because they are organizations within a large organization. Why have them if they stand for nothing at all. It's fun. Neither of these groups are pushy and they understand when one is busy or sick. I was very politely asked each time by groups and was not forced into anything.
I've been forced inducted once but that was when my mother cut my internet off and the coven I was in disbanded, and another picked me up. But I left there as soon as I got my internet back so it wasn't too bad.
I love every coven I was ever in. None mistreated me. I guess I was lucky. I hold no animosity towards covens or houses.
I personally love the coven that I'm in now. Everyone is as active as they can be. And EmoDemon is a very nice CM. But there are a few rules.
i was forced into my first coven on level five and hated it there so bad that i just never got on took them six months but they finally booted me once they did my sister told me to put on my profile "please do not induct me i do not have time to participate and would only drag your coven down" it worked no one bothered me until i found the coven of secrets was to my liking and i would never leave for another
I think most people miss the fact that this is a website dedicated to the vampire lifestyle. One of the most common thoughts is that one doesnt chose to become a vampire. It choses you. So theorically if a vampire came up to you and said hey you're mine and these are the rules or else. there is no argument and no one cares if you like the group are in or not. you are tied by blood. permanently unlike here. i think there are many cool covens. i think there are some childish ones as well. if you dont want to be in, just never update your status.
The Sacred Moon is a pretty laid back Coven.
Although it's not as active as some societies, its full of good people who will help you when need be.
It's also a good place to get away from drama.
I think its good but people should not be able to be foced into one. they should be able to apply for the house or coven.
phury666 -
Ahh, but forced inductions are apart of VR.
Also, if they just got to apply, some Covens would end up with many members, and others with little to none.
Since Vampire Rave is a "Vampire Resource" it goes along with the Vampire theme.
When a vampire has a thirst he doesn't tap you on the shoulder and say," Pardon me, would you care if I drained all the blood from your body and turned you like me? If not I will understand and go on my merry way."
They crave, they want and they take.
Houses and Covens are modeled after the ways that Vampires operate.
The house of Bohemia if a very lovely coven... I'm in that coven and just to warn you when you look at them it's all about back then in the 80's and stuff but appearntly thats just the masters hobbie... however, all you have to do in the coven of bohemia is pretty much keep your status up and do everything on vampire rave... there are really no other rules... I think you should try it out.. I love this coven and it's only been my first one... I hope this helps you
Actually, all the Coven Pages are following our Theme this Month in April which is Nostalgia Month. We allowed some of our members to design a Page coordinating with a certain Decade.
I encourage all of you to check them out...they are actually quite fin and why Bohemia is a great place to be.
But once again.....I stress this...go check out several Houses or Covens to see what works for you.
~CountessMoon~ I think you know me better than that, I was not implying that all Coven's are run by adolescense, but more so on by reading journals, forum postings as well as rants and raves, to draw conclusion based on that reading...That many of the Covens do act as though they are run by adolescent like minds.
Granted I have not had the chance to partake of any Coven, as I chose to enter House Eternal for a reason. I have read the information on all Houses and Covens when I first started here last year. After coming to a conclusion, I chose. I stand by my convictions but ment no offense.
I do have many friends that are members as well as admin for the Covens, which is why I stated that many of the Covens do act like the youth of the nation when it comes to mindless endless bickering. Not to say these friends are the complainers mind you. But, no...I did not mean to be a be all end all.
But hey, how could change occur or resolutions be aquired if problems did not begin, grow, or persist to the point of the resolute? Drama is something that society needs in order to maintain a certain peaceful surrender psychologically. It will always be prevailant.
I guess the point I am wanting to make is this...It is the individuals choice of whether or not to be involved with said dramas to begin with. After all, this is an online community. It is always much easier to take out aggression on someone that is hundreds of miles away, rather than eye to eye. Much like playing a video game. Just remember, most individuals have feelings. Many become very good friends, whilst others could very much care less. Choose the way you wish to live. Just keep the dramas within the affiliation chosen. I am pretty sure not everyone wishes to hear about who did what to whom and why.
Just my opinion.
What it all boils down to is that you find a place that meshes with who you are and what you want out of this site and their are plenty of choices, just do your research.
right; who simply "cares" that some Covens or Houses or whatnot are run by adolescents or so it seems?
if it works for you, so be it then.
I always have been against forced inductions because as i see it that can do more harm then good for the coven. Im ACM in the coven of ethereal twilight and we dont do force induct because we want the members to self choose the coven. The result have been a good family. My personal opinion is that every member should have right to stay out of houses/covens if he or she want that here on vr.
I really dont know why ppl bother to complain about 'Force Inductions'. It is a part of VR. The majority of Covens/houses dont do it anyway even though they can.
I doubt a House or Coven would keep anyone who wasnt up to par anyway.
Anyway it is only the internet it isnt real life.
So, in other words, for most of VR's Society members. ;]
Pantervamp -
If forced inductions were harmful, they wouldn't be apart of VR, would they? It's all on how you handle the situation.
Every coven and house has there own rules and regulations to keep everything in order and not to have chaos. even though at time some rough housing is good but not way over board.
I agree you just need to do your research before level 5 to decide if there is some place you want to be before you are forcible inducted.
My first coven i was inducted to at level 5 and i was there for over a year and it was fine there were a few things that had to be done for a couple weeks but it was just favor and forum postings to stay active. other than that it was good.
The coven I am in now is awesome we all have fun and everyone gets along, come check us out. hope to see you around. *smiles*
I like my coven. I did not like the one I was in before as iwas forced into it. I believe in finding a coven that you will be happy in since you have to work for it.
I have been in a few covens and i didn't like them, but the coven i am in now i absoulty love it! its great the people are so friendly and its just wonderful :D
It's nice to see all the people who are now comfy in their Houses/Covens... I was lucky when I came on... I chose my first Coven... The Coven of the VampireDove... I made some great friends in the short time I spent there... I was also a part of Mada... I loved my time there as well! Robin3 and ToiletDuc are the masters... both are wonderful people...
I have to agree with a lot of the statements that have been posted between this post and the last.. many get forced on their first induction but a lot of times if you talk to the CM most of them will work with you on getting you placed. Yeah there may be a lot of rules and regs and all but in the long run it's where you feel comfortable and happy... but it may be a bumpy road leading to that...
it is true you do have to work for your coven or house...and there are rules...
all I can say is dont update til you find one you like...I cant say that enough...
Im totally happy this mine...why not check us out...we might be what your looking for...
but remember there are other covens and houses out there...
just look around bit...ask some questions make some friends...after all a coven/house is all about family...and being happy together...
I'm in House Eternal, and I think it's pretty much fantastic. The forced induction concept is a large part of vampire culture, and is something I've gotten the impression Cancer believes in very much, given the content on his profile, not to mention he's the one who created the site in the first place. If you don't like it... don't be on VR. It sounds like a tough love response, but there are other and frankly, 'better' social networking sites you can peruse and join that don't include forced induction.
Just my two cents.
while i willnot giveadvice to youas to what coven or house to jion i will say this it is imporatant to readcarfully make sure u talk to the peopl in the coven that u seem intrested in
the cven i was before i asked to be traqded was a greatplacve aplace wherei met intresting people as in life like in everthing their are problems with peoplewhen i asked to be traded tothe coven i am in now it was becouse of the bonf of freindship that i had made with the the heads of the coven i can only boast good things about my coven with certain rules and resposablities u earn as u level up but as a society their are goin to be misunderstanding and problems and thats why we need to have patients and understanding get thru problems
Soulshroude,
There was no offense taken at all with what you said. I do agree with what you're saying. And yes, I do realize you meant adolescent minds and tendencies. ;)
The sad thing is by ones acting the way they do, or having the public problems as they do, it can put a bad taste in someone’s mouth. They may not want to be a part of any of them because of prejudgment. I can fully understand that. There are times when I do the same thing.
Drama is nature. It is going to happen either to you or around you. Some of it is interesting; some is just childish and really for no reason at all. I think it can depend on the ‘Master’ of the Coven as to which form happens and how swiftly it is handled.
I could go on and on, but it isn’t my time to be crucified by the masses just yet. lol
Bravo for the debate! I so missed it.
I just want to mention that in order to enjoy a Coven or House, you have to give either a try. You can't just judge from what you read. Being a part of either will help you to better judge what they are really like.
yes that is right...
but talking to them to find out what they like like is also good dont you think?...
and that's all a matter of opinionation. you think it's the best because you haven't tried the rest.
I have been in over 20 societies and I have come to the conclusion that there are only a handful of great societies (at least when it comes to my taste)
Debauchery, La Bella Oscuridad, Madadh-Alluidh, Eternal, and the Darkest Blood are ones that I enjoyed the most out of my travels. Keep in mind though there are 40 that I haven't been to. :)
I have been in
Madadh
Eternal
Midnight Dreary (or Black Knights as was)
Templar Knights
Fallen Souls of Sorrow
La Rose Noire
Screaming Banshee
No word of a lie I have never seen one as busy as my own. I love it.
