find someone who can channel their energy to the after life...but these people are rare and unless you have a good friend that can do that they are going to be mighty high in price

Well, the logical way would be to just die, right?

I think you would have to either die or try a seeing a medium.. but once your dead and looking for someone once your in your after lifee.. no one knows til you get there

I'd say a good medium, or a seance though the second is a little cheesy and unreliable.
You could try working on your abilities so that you can hear them yourself as well.

Use a reputable medium to try to contact them would be my thought.

A good mediumn cannot conjure up Spirits. Many times a person in the spirit world will come through dreams or meditation. You must always surround yourself in protection of the white light of a higher power. I am attending a class on mediumship through meditation.

Well a seance I would think...

You could have a seance, contact a psychic to help you or use the good ole ouija board. Other than that I do not know how you could contact the afterlife. But I would advise you to be very careful, for you do not really know if you are going to contact the pne you really want.

you could have a seance or you could use a pendulum you could make your own "ouigi" (sp?) board. but if you do something like that be sure to cast your circle and ask the right questions to be sure you have the right person.

Feel they will contact you when ready. You must be willing to listen. A quite place light a candle and ask away. Remember there "time" is different than ours so it may take awhile.(days)

I myself dont agree with that...i think that you have to leave the dead in peace...
because everytime you alter the energy, they got altered too....

I agree that a medium would be the best choice, but a Ouiji Board is another possibility

sure Angel, a ouija is a good one, but the person who handles it, has to close the portal at the end, besides, it´s easier that a low spirit can enter and talk instead of the person you´re looking for...
certain low spirits are roaming in plains closer to ours... and maybe the dead person you want to contact is a high or more perfect spirit...

If it's not something you're already able to do, you should probably contact a medium.

Meditation or a spirit quest would be a really good start you would just focus on the person who you wish to commune with.

Doing a saiance or seeking the help of a medium would be the way to go. I personally would seek teh help of a medium. It may be hard to find one in your area since they are not widely advertised. Good luck in your search to contact

I say it's best to leave well enough alone. If said person is already at peace, you'd be disturbing him.... And I definitely wouldn't want to make anyone angry in that way. It'd be like waking a bear in the middle of winter... Not a pretty sight.

Many spirits may choose to contact you, however, if you want to contact them a good spirit medium should help...

Seek out the assistance of a medium they will help u contact the afterlife. being careful doing a seance they are dangerous if u do not know what u are doing

Find a medium but I would talk to them a bit first to make sure you aren't just being ripped off.

I would also make sure you take precautions when doing a seance. You don't want to bring something about you're not prepared for.

even finding the right person... the correct medium is a problem... i´ve seen some people pretending ... you know? wannabes... and it sucks...

Here's the thing even if you do find a medium the person may not want to be bothered. People who cross over are always around us when they feel they are needed, you may not even know they are there because they converse with us using signs or in our dreams.

If there is a real need for the person, then they will come to you just look for the signs. It could be a song that you happen to notice the lyrics to or a pictures you can't stop staring at.

i agree with you Kevil, sometimes our people dont want to be bothered... maybe they are just in the place they need to be and if we start calling them or asking them questions, we are just altering their peace...

I agree with SarraS... You can just die and meet them or you can contact someone who knows how to handle a Ouija board and contact them from that. I won't suggest that anyone use the ouija board for themselves because it can be very harmful.

To be alert for their presents without expecting them to come to where you are.There may be a chance encounter if they are doing the same on the other side.
The path to and from is turbulent enough without static so turn off electronic distractions.Meditation(as mentioned already)would create a stillness for the sixth sense to develop and even if there is no noticeable contact think or even speak "thanks for coming across"
to expect one or two limited outcomes will cause disappointments and one may possible miss something precise.Mediums are helpful as well but get references before placing personal info into their possession some are scam artist.To have a slight agenda to contact them about will increase the "beaconing"across their plane.and you are less likly to get miscievious spirt static as well.

There's several ways to do this, all of them very risky. I don't think anybody should ever call to the dead or try to communicate with them, it opens too many doors, so to speak.

i usually concentrate on that person in my minds eye, if you have a photot look at the persons photo until you see an aura around their head. I did this once and i could tell by the way my cat was acting that they were there.

Some would try for a Séance, but it always seemed strange to me to have a near complete stranger somehow be closer to your loved one who passed on than you are.

Sometimes I think they come to you, instead of searching so hard for them, just relax and open your heart, exist and be welcoming for a message.

For me at least, it seems to come during moments when I least expect it, but I need it...

try going to a psychic and see what they have to tell you. maybe they can direct you in the way that you need to go

I would first create an Egregor in the Astral Planes and then I will feed it with energy and use it for my searchings.

There are many way to find what you seek; the net being a prime source of info. You should be very careful in what you do while you try to find what you're looking for. Things and people die for resons and sometimes want to be left alone. Most the time they will come to you if they have a purpose.

You could have a seance[sp?].. or meditation works sometimes. Even if you focus on seeing them before falling asleep, they could come to you in a dream. You just have to know how to control your dreams.. It really isn't that hard to do. All you must do is focus on the task at hand before you go to sleep, that's what works for me. But make sure you can fall asleep, because then what's the point? =P

Alters are another way to create a portal for slight communication if enough things associated with the desesed and passing soul one will if not contact them one is just as likely to notice something among their effects and memarabilia to seek the comfort or dismiss excess grief which is why most people seek contact with passing souls.They sometimes feel stuck on something a love one left open ended.

I would say find someone who could channel their spirit or just concentrate on that person. I am sure their spirit will know you are attempting to contact them.

I have never sought to contact any specific spirit. It just happens when it happens... As for the ouiji board, I actually urge against it. I used one once and had no problems with it, but have spoken with others who have had bad encounters. Some things lurk, and can use the board as a way to find their way into a person's life.

If they can sense their energy emmitting from their spirit it's possible but I highly doubt they could unless they recognized the person

There are numerious ways to contacting someone in the afterlife, you could see a psychic who could track them down and pass the messages back and fourth, could die ofcourse or the good old fashon way through the 'spirt board' in which you call the spirt and it sends you a message though moving the cursor over the letters....
