Do you believe in life after death?

An afterlife? Do we go to another realm, another world and chill around there, or do we sit and ponder on this lonely planet looking around and watching others? or something else u think might happen? or do we just die and nothing happens?

yes i do believe in life after death i think that once we die our souls and everything go to a different universe on a different planet and we start our lives over and or different again. we would also have all the knowglde that we have now too....

I have been known to believe that our souls return in another body to start all over again. It is not so inconceivable to think that our souls have lived over and over again whether in an animal or a human. Someone once told me that we come back until we get it right. Makes you think anyway.

I beleive in life after death. I beleive that ghosts are people who are still in the process of dieing. But once you are dead you go to a new life to live

I was a born christian (baptist) I have changed alot since I was 7 and dont believe in most of the things I used to I no longer live in guilt however I have not shaken the feeling that after death we go to either heaven or hell I am not sure of this of course but I believe it to be true but for all I know we could end up living another life in another universe or I could come back as an insect ew I hate bugs well that sux

i actually believe in a few different things that could happen. either we would come back as a new person, we would go to hell, or that we would become ghosts and stuff. im not sure which one i believe in more though. maybe it all depends on how you live your life or which you choose at the end. but its all kind of a myster and we must experiance it ourselves to reveal the truth.

I do believe in it but not to sure where you go I mean I think that if you go to hell well it could mean many things you could be stuck here on earth to walk it forever

Life after death or is death the end? Good question. My personal belief is that our souls wonder this earth and inhabit a new body until it finds its purpose in this world, while the energy the body posseses is dispersed to create new life forms. I guess what I'm saying is that I belive in a form of reincarnation, and when a purpose is found, it ceases.

The fear is that, that life is all we have. We don't want to belive that once life ends so does our purpose, our chance our only existance. To live I need to believe that there is more after, or at least when death does come I am never aware that I was wrong

...on the other hand I think that some people make themselves believe and tell others that there's an afterlife,maybe cause they don't accept death( the end of everything and wish immortality) or fear it or maybe cause they wish a better life.

difficult one for me, see i was raised mormon and they say you go to be with family in heaven, but i have since become a doorway for spirits and i believe more in reincarnation and soul passing.

I believe in some type of life after death. I don't know yet what is is because I am not dead, but it is a question that has been pondered for all time and will be questioned for eternity.

I do not, as much as I wished there were, believe in any sort of 'life after death.'
The need for humans and humanity to go on after death is so strong, that religions have errupted early and all over the place trying to answer that question in the affirmative, who wouldn't want to go on for ever in some better place or state. Sadly, nothing in my expereince points to that.

I think there is a life after death. If there wasn't then how can people comunicate with the other side? I guess we all see the other side differently as to how we are raised or what we are told. To me there's alot of evidence to give an idea that there is life after death. We shall find out for sure when my times comes :)

I believe that afterlife is what we have happen to us until a higher power has a new purpose for us to be reborn. When you did you go of to a place the you have created. This is either your heaven or your hell, whichever you would refer to call it. There you stay either in paradise or torment until once again your soul or spirit if you will is brought forth once again in a new body with a new life to live and a new higher purpose to try and figure out.

I believe that life is just one big dream. When you die, you wake up from that dream and take your true place in the land of the living! Every dream is a life, and everytime you fall asleep again, you are reincarnated! Life is just a dream world! All we have to do is wake up!

I don't believe in life after death, I believe that we just disappear into nothing after we die...Though of course I may be wrong about it. We'll all see after we die ourselves (being an undead does not count), though we will most likely not be able to come back and live to tell the tale.

At the moment I like to think that there is only us, and only this. It stops me living my life for something or someone else.

I believe that we return to that from which we came. Our bodies decompose and are broken down into base components, return to the eath, and re-emerge in the cycle of life. I think the same thing happens with the energy source that seperates us from inanimate objects. Closest explanation I can think of would be the Lifestream from FF7.

there really is no way to know if there is life after death as no one has come back to tell us, different religions believe different thigs about the afterlife or reincarnation, there isnt a way to know if any or all are correct.

I think there is life after death. But I think where we are going to spend the after life is the big question. I mean....some people belive in heaven and earth....reincarnation. Some people even belive that we don't go anywhere. But I belive that we will stay right here in this earth.

So after we die we just scatter like the elements we are made up of and there is nothing left. Just senseless elements, particles, molicules (sp?), etc..

This is simular to another post I've already responded to. But nothings like sharing again. I don't believe in reincarnation. No one will ever know what happens after you die. Why? Is because so many people flat line for minutes at a time, and each of them have a different story to tell. Which makes all the stories very hard to believe. If you convince yourself your whole life that you become reincarnated, then perhaps that's what you'll see if you flatline for a few minutes. Because you've convinced yourself of that, maybe that's what happens. Or perhaps it's all an illusion, and even though it's actually happening, it isn't really. It's just what you want to see. No one will ever be able to give you the real answer to death. It's impossible to know what is forbidden.

I have no idea but if I ever find out I will let ya know.

Hummmmmmmmm although there is really no sound prof or answer to this question this is what I think. I think our bodies die but our soul never does it transfers to another body and it continues to do so until we become completly enlightened then we become gods/goddess

i dont know if there is life after death. i think the idea of going somewhere better is a great thought. even the thought of seeing our loved ones who have passed before us is an awsome idea.

Life isn't hell everday. Well, at least not for me. Life is what you make of it.

I believe there is life after death. I mean your soul cant just dissappear when you die. Its too strong for that. I believe your soul is everything you are, that your skin is just protecting it. I think it will go somewhere, whether it be into heaven or hell, or reborn, it goes somewhere. Somewhere where you begin a new life, or just add on to the first one.
