What do you feel inside, do you feelthe vampiric essence within you? Do you become energized, have a need to be social, or for some violent?
I feel Power in the dark, a hidden world so to speak, A non- ness i feel so at home in...
Well, it is known fact that at different times of the day, our hormone levels differ and fluctuate.
At night is one of the most dramatic changes.
so yea, I feel a bit different.
Yes, I do in fact feel my true self become more prevailent during the evening hours. Most of the time, I tend to draw away from crowds until it is time to replenish myself, then I will venture towards one or two that I know in that crowd and do not act until, once again, secluded from the numbers of "normal" onlookers.
well it feels like i am a different person. i can do more stuff that i can't do any other time. i mean like steal stuff, paintball a house, speed in my truck and many other stuff. so its fun when it is dark.
Glad i do not live next to you !!!!!
I would literally freak if you stole from me then paintballed my house .........
But i really do not think that was what he was meaning ......
Or was it ............
I personnally used to be scared of the dark and i am sure it was because i was just that little bit to young to see Planet of the Apes ...........You may laugh but it is true .....
But now i get a great feeling specially standing in the middle of the garden arms out big breath and exhale it invigorates me .......
At night is when I am the most creative and happy and awake.
At night I feel awake and energized. I feel more happy and hungry (for blood). I hate the daylight (especially here in AZ).
When I am at my strongest, I will seem to be at my weakest. I am not sure where I got that from, but it has worked so far. I hope that came out clear enough and it is understood. I lay traps, as horrible as that is to admit.
The dark is the best time of the day for most of us here..there is a comforting peace in the dark...there is a hunger for being with your own kind.......and of course when we usually party...lol
and on another note, posting that you steal and vandalize things does not make you cool...It makes u look like a punk idiot..
good gods grow up...
i always feel at my best in the dark and at night......i am also photosensitive so i have to wear tints and hats in bright lights or in snow when it does in Scotland.....funny thing is cold doesn't bother me much.. although i love feeling the warmth of Sunrise and sunset rest of the time you'll find me in cool place, so yeah i feel weird all the time.
I agree with this statement. Once night falls my energy/stamina level grows. If the world had more hours in a night it would only be that much greater.
Me personally I feel more alive at night...I hate daylight....
My eyes adjust quickly and they don't hurt from the light. I feel more awake at night than I do during the day
I feel like I'm in control, and I need to lash out at something. There is a powerful surge of energy and then a relaxing calm. I love the darkness. It makes me feel at home.
freakazoid !!! You steal and paintball houses at night ... I'm guessing you ran out of eggs LOL
At night I sleep OK but wake up more tired than when I went to bed. I know I have nightmares and talk in my sleep, but I talk in my native Ukrainian and no-one can tell me what I was talking about!
I am more relaxed & more energetic at night than i am during the day. As far as being more social that definitely wont ever happen in my case. I admit that im a recluse at times....
When i do wake up & get moving around im still tired, feeling like i never can get enough sleep.
When it gets dark is when I get more active. I get more creative and I can accomplish more because I am more awake. It is the best time for me to try to do anything.
i feel at peace in the dark. that is when i have no stress, and completely relaxed. to say it all read my quote on my profile
i find myself like so many others more energized at at peace in the darkness
At night I do feel more alert and awake. It is as though I get a second wind. I am my most creative in the evening hours.
here here dariann,i agree completely,i become much more in tune with everything and my senses come truely alive
I don't feel so much powerful as I do aware.....I see things better, I hear better..... Everything is much prettier in the dark...Especially the beach with a full moon shining on the water. I like to get up and walk around all night.
I feel much more aware and awake at night. Then again, I could still be suffering from the hormonal teenage nocturnal stage
When it's dark I feel very alive and wired for sound. I feel energy tingling over my whole body looking for an outlet. I feel at much peace and content. But at times feel there are things that need to be done when the wind whispers in my ear.
Overall, it's so beautiful and wicked at night I feel I have found my place that I feel I belong. Whereas, during the daylight hours I tend to feel shunned.
i feel alive... powerful.. awakened during the night...mm most precious time for me....aawwwwoooo
I feel like the night is MY natural time. I am most alive at night. Mornings are terrible for me-like the life is gone... but when the night is deep, I want to prowl!
I can't see when it's dark...
Just kidding, of course. I feel more energized at night, I'm more creative and productive.
At night, everything tends to so down, except us, and that leads to a calmer state of being when outdoors. The night also offers protection from passerbys when we are simply doing what comes naturally. at night, we blend into the darkness and therefore are more at ease with ourselves for being in the presence of ones who do not understand us and because of that, fear and ever hate us for being what we are. Carpe Noctem.
usually when darkness is here I feel a presence other than my own.but this is sometimes.I can also feel agression and sometimes a little hyper.
I jus feel relaxed in the dark.
Perhaps it's from years of having to hide away in it because of my migraines. *shrugs* Or maybe it's simply because it tends to be dark at night...and night is the time that I finally get "me time"...the kids are in bed, it's quiet, etc.
I often feel the need for the darkness. Often alone, like now at the new moon. I will haxe energy at the next full moon.
I find myself keeping the house dim even during the day. I find it to be more comfortable that way. As I said before I am the most awake, alive ,alert and creative during these times.
I feel more at peace than during the daylight hours. I also feel like I can truly be myself.
I feel more energized at night... I hate sunlight . it is very hurtful to my eyes.
I work night-shift at a service station, so i'm normally the most active then. But the sunlight does piss me off, I like my dark little room...
i use to feel at home in the dark but when i was attacked while sleeping now it just scares me not being able to see if anyone is around or in the same room with me. Just freaks me out.
Peace comes to me in the night. I find it easier to breath, and exist when the harsh reality of light is absent.
i feel at home in the dark as if to really show the real me it helps to be hiden from vew of normel eyes
i feel safer in the dark, i tend to beable to see better, my smelling is better, and i feel more alive, and more motivated to do stuff.
As some have said it is hard to sleep at night. Medication is the only thing that helps me. Even during the day I like it dim and my eyes are are increasingly more light sensitive.
Oftentimes, I'll just feel the energy within me at random moments. It almost feels like an extra weight, especially in my left arm (my dominant hand). It's my energy, my essence, my aura, my spirit, whatever you wish to call it.
Does anybody else know what I'm talking about?
When it's dark I feel at peace with myself and those around me. I feel like I could do anything, I feel enlightened. But at the same time I feel restless. I've also noticed in the dark I feel more geared towards being cuddly and romantic.
I can find my way round in the dark. But there is nothing better than being able to hide or linger in the darkness, specially when you are outside :)
I feel more creative and alive at night. During college, my papers would receive an A if they were written when the sun was down and C's if they were written during the day. Even now as a teacher, my lesson plans are more detailed when I write them at night. I am so lethargic during the day. In addition, my eyes do not like light.
The lights never go out for me. Always a candle burning, music playing, never dark, never quiet. The spirits come around and are annoying.
I am certainly more of a "night" person. I can see better at night as in the daylight I am very sensitive to the light. I usually have one eye closed and am squinting with the other. Once the sun goes down I can open my eyes wide and really see!
I feel more energized at night....I am usually very tired during the day. It is the time for my music, VR and just relaxing. But, sometimes it can be lonely for me. At any rate, I prefer night over day anyday.
Forgot to add I am also way more creative at night time or in darker settings. I usually spend my time on VR at night or I write a lot of my poetry then.
I feel extremely calm and relaxed at night.
And when I'm outside I sometimes feel as if I'm on the hunt.
But I always like myself better at night than during the day.
For me my cycles follows as.... from the time I get up I'm tired but as the day go's by I start to fell more energetic. Between 7 to 11 pm I am get the motivating feeling. Around 12:30 I feel as if I am catching a second wind and I am forcing myself to go to bed between 4 and 5.
So for me when the lights go ot I get energized.
I feel like the peace, creativity, energy etc.. I get when darkness comes is my reward for making it through another trying day...
I must admit it is one of the perks of living here in Alaska, during the winter there is more darkness than light :) The sun raises about 10am-11am and sets or begins to turn to dusk between 4pm-5pm...
I get a sense of power from the night. To me, the mundane world is stripped away at last and then I am allowed to truly be.
I feel more ME and less HAVING to conform to humanity as Dictated. I feel more at one with the wilderness... I love to gaze at the night sky esp when the moon is out.
And Gesar.. I was terrified of the dark sonce I watched american werewolf in london.. when I was 9.
I love the night.. and natural darkness. for it's honesty... and relentless energy
after the sun goes down thats when I feel the best and have the most energy, when it comes to the sun coming up thats when Im exhausted. The darkness if my friend.
I feel more at night than during the day. I mean more in many different ways, more creative, more energised, more empathic, more everything!
Evening dances an intricate ballet, the Grand pas de duex of those who would hide and those who would dare, choreographing a stage that invites, invigorates, rewards and kills.
She is beautiful and she is dangerous. To know her is to truly know yourself.
Yessssssss...night for me.
When the lights go out and I'm in darkness I feel more alive. I feel like I can take on anyone. It's like a power flowing into me. It's weird. And the darker it is the stronger I feel. That's why at night I tend to hang around outside. I just let the darkness consume me. It feels good.
Once the sun goes down I feel a sense of awakening within, almost like its a time to party....I am more alert and full of life...
Its easier to hide in the dark.
I like the dark if there is a warm breeze.
I also like it if its raining warm water.
Very nice
I like the dark and the rain mostly. I agree that we get more energized when we dwell in the darkness. It's calming. I was a little afraid of the dark for a while because i had trouble accepting who I was but it soon passed once I came to terms with it. I am always more at peace when I can sit in the darkness or even walk in the rain in the late hours of the night. It's like time stands still, ridding me of the outside chaos around me.
The dark call also make you seem stronger.
For passers by, someone who is seen, standing in the dark may be thought of as dangerous.
At night I do feel very different...I feel more energized and alert...mostly between the hours midnight to like 4 in the morning...even if I was sleeping I usually wake up
I like it when it's dark, I feel comfortable and excited a bit too. Once my eyes adjust, I am pretty good at getting about without light.
I don't know why I feel more comfortable in darkness, I have just come to accept that that's just how I am.
all of my life ive been at ease in the night. i am wide awke and thankful to meet others that love the night. i was often weary of talking to other night people. i found for the most part they were only bad/evil day people. taking advantage of the cover of night.
in my opinion darkness/night is not synonymous with evil/bad.
for me I love the dark .... Iam most active in the night... I have always felt at home with the night
I feel extremely active and alert. I think part of it stems from childhood fears though. I used to hate the dark. Sometimes when I'm alone I sit huddled in the corner. I get the feeling that if I make myself as small as possible, nothing will see me or be able to get me. When I'm not stricken with fear (lol...silly me!) I love to go out for walks. Nighttime is the only time you can't see the nasty color of the water here so I go walking on the beach alot.
i feel more energetic at times hehe i get a high feeling who needs weed !
I would have to say that I feel as though I am stronger. I feel like the light in the darkness as though I can conquer anything that occurs. I also become rejuevenated, as though I have received my second wind.
i feel more alive and my sences going wild thats what its like for me
I also feel most awake and I can't really sleep to save my life
I feel more awake at night, not just physically but also mentally, i do most of my art, poetry and writings at night, i seem to get a lot more done.
myfriends a psy vamp and she gets parrinod durning the full moon and she is a insomniac other times
Darkness holds many things. At times it is place of peace that I can't achieve anywhere else, other times it is a place of unease where I find I only seek to find light. Among these there is the insomnia and dreams that often plague one's mind.
i find it that my mind is a lot clearer at night....anytime i need to think something over, it is better for me to do it at night....i also am more creative at night.......
and well im known for something else at night but......thats something i dont want to talk about......
Oddly enough, I get sexually arroused A LOT at night. And almost aggitated or something...like I can't sit still...kinda like a pacing animal thats in a cage
When the lights go out and dark envelops me I feel comfort and tranqulity.
I enjoy and feel active in the day and the night...I simply despise mornings and regardless of how early I go to sleep, cannot feel awake until at least noon.
I spend my nights with my mind and heart racing. it's stressful when you can never sleep. I don't reccomend it.
the dark is the most beautiful time of the day. I get maybe 4 ot 5 hrs of sleep. If I do nit wake while it is dark my whole day is ruined. so I m up at 3 am. to me, when it is dark, my world comes alive. I hate the daylight time.
I feel sleepy in the dark........seriously I do like it better....more relaxing etc
My srrounding have to be pitch black. Unfortunately, the ambiance does not guarantee a fitful nights' rest.
If you have to sleep in totally darkness, I recommend covering your windows with tinfoil. It works wonders.
i suppose i do feel different at night, in a good way. like i'm more me than i am during the day. :)
there's just something about the silky blackness of night that draws us out. It's an outstanding comfort level to me
In the darkness I am at home. I feel more alert, more alive, more energized. I'm a night person anyway. I sleep most of the day. All of my shopping or whatever is done after sunset. The night is a different world for me and I wouldn't change it for anything...
tranquality and clarity. the light of the day creates an overabundance of stimuli that the thought process...
My "vampiristic" nature is not the least affected by light nor activated by dark. And as this trait is solely the creation of fiction (Stoker, primarily), only those preferring fiction to fact would believe otherwise.
me i need people as vampiristic gose i just feel there here for my type to feed and be hipnotised i feel the need to be me!
i have always felt differently at nightfall its like im sleep walking all day and then the sun goes down and poof im awake..of course i always thought it a bit odd..
